Prison Break Promo: Look Who"s Back!

MICHAEL SCOFIELD LIVES!

In one of the more unexpected scheduling moves we"ve seen in quite awhile, Fox will be reviving Prison Break this fall, debuting a nine-week run of brand new episodes at midseason.

But, wait, you might be wondering:

Didn"t Prison Break end all the way back in 2009? And didn"t it end by (SPOILER ALERT!) killing off its main characters, Wentworth Miller"s Michael?

Yes and yes.

But the series has found a second life on Netflix and, due to this newfound popularity, is finding an actual second life on Fox in early 2017.

Yes, Miller will reprise his role as Michael, with Dominic Purcell back as Lincoln.

Based on the new footage below, Sara Tancredi (Sarah Wayne Callies) has moved on with her life, believing Michael to be long gone, raising her and Michael’s child with her new husband (portrayed by Mark Feuerstein).

But Lincoln then finds a letter and ends of finding Michael alive and… you guessed it… behind bars at a prison.

So it"s time to break him out once again!

Who else will be brought back into the fold?

Only three of Fox River State Penitentiary’s most notorious escapees, T-Bag (Robert Knepper), C-Note (Rockmond Dunbar) and Sucre (Amaury Nolasco).

Yup, they are all on board for the revival, folks!

In addition to Michael and Lincoln’s long-awaited reunion (prepare for it to get dusty in your living room), the promo below also features the brothers attempting what could be their riskiest, most high-stakes escape yet.

And that"s saying something!

Prison Break alum Paul Adelstein will also return Secret Service agent-turned-Congressman Paul Kellerman, and he’ll be joined by series newbies Inbar Lavi (The Last Ship), Augustus Prew (The Borgias) and Rick Yune (Marco Polo).

Prison Break will air on Thursday nights at 9/8c on Fox, premiering some time in January.
