XXXTentacion: Representatives Release a Statement on Rapper"s Death
On Monday, 20-year-old rapper XXXTentacion was shot dead in Miami.
Speculation has been mounting that he had predicted his death and reports came out claiming that XXXTentacion wanted to tie young, and everyone has questions.
The late rapper’s representation has now released a statement.
XXXTentacion’s team released a statement to Entertainment Tonight.
“On June 18, 2018, Jahseh Onfroy — known worldwide as XXXTentacion — tragically passed away from a gunshot wound in Deerfield, Florida,” the statement begins.
As you may remember, the 20-year-old rapper was leaving a motorcycle dealer when a gunman ran up to his vehicle and opened fire.
“It is with great sadness that the news is confirmed in this official statement by his team,” the statement continues. “Manager Solomon Sobande, EMPIRE, Bob Celestin, Esq. and AKW PR.”
That’s very formal, but important, though this had already been reported by reputable sources and confirmed by local police.
The statement then goes on to make a request.
“In deference to his family, friends, and loved ones and in light of further investigation,” the statement asks.
This part is standard when a celebrity dies.
The statement continues: “we ask that their privacy be respected at this time.”
That is absolutely right. Whatever you may have thought of XXXTentacion himself, there were people who cared about him who are miserable right now.
The statement continues, this time with a tribute to the rapper’s memory.
“XXXTentacion touched the lives of millions around the globe,” the statement claims.
He certainly had many fans.
The statement says that the rapper connected with fans through music, “and will forever reside in the hearts of countless fans who listened to his music.”
Sure. His music will be part of his legacy for as long as he is remembered.
The statement says that this legacy will also apply to fans who “attended his concerts, and felt the glow of his uncontainable, undeniable, and unique spirit.”
That part is a little flowery, but appropriate for the context.
“News about memorial services to be issued forthcoming,” the statement concludes.
XXXTentacion was a controversial figure, in life and in death.
As you may have noticed from the two different mugshots in this post, he had multiple run-ins with the law during his 20 short years.
The allegations of brutal domestic abuse against him were definitely a subject on the internet following the news of XXXTentacion being shot, and then again after it was confirmed that he was dead.
Some people who were fans of the rapper despite the horrifying allegations expressed their grief on social media.
Others were then shocked to see that they felt that way, because they were unwilling to shed a tear for a man accused of monstrous misdeeds.
Fan culture can be complicated. How does one separate the art from the artist? Is it immoral to mourn a bad person?
Those are not easy questions to answer, and it seems unlikely that the world will ever agree any time soon.
Those on both sides of the debate of how to respond to news of XXXTentacion’s death can surely agree on one good cause.
The rapper’s ex-girlfriend, Geneva Ayala, whose serious facial injuries from a brutal alleged beating threaten even her eyesight, has a GoFundMe to help repair the damage to her face, skull, and eyes.
Following the news of his death — which was the first time that some people learned of the allegations against him that go back at least two years — she received an influx of donations to her GoFundMe.
While none of us should live in a world where vital healthcare should depend upon the generosity of strangers, this time, the strangers were very generous, and her page has now exceeded its goal.
Be warned — the images of her injuries are graphic.
That is a very worthy cause that is getting some attention this week. However you may feel about XXXTentacion, it’s good to channel those feelings into something good.
And, of course, let his loved ones grieve without trying to invade their privacy.

XXXTentacion Murder Details: Did He Predict His Own Death?
On Monday, the music world was shocked by the news that rapper and singer XXXTentacion had been shot dead in Miami.
He was just 20 years old.
Obviously, it’s always tragic when violence claims such a young life, but reactions to the death of XXXTentacion (real name Jahseh Onfroy) were decidedly mixed due to the tremendous amount of suffering her inflicted in his short time on this planet.
Onfroy spent his teen years in and out of detention centers for a number of violent crimes, and sadly, his anger didn’t abate with the onset of success.
He brawled with fans at his own concerts; he issued threats against fellow artists like Drake and Migos; he brutally pistol-whipped a man whose home he had broken into; and most egregiously, he allegedly beat, strangled, and tortured a woman named Geneva Ayala, who was pregnant with his child at the time
Onfroy was awaiting trial on charges of domestic battery by strangulation, false imprisonment, and aggravated battery of a pregnant woman at the time of his death.
Fans have defended his actions by pointing out that Onfroy endured an abusive childhood and seemed to suffer from mental illness.
Whatever the case, it’s not hard to see why many have been hesitant to either mourn his passing or celebrate his life.
Details of XXXTentacion’s murder are still hard to come by, and the suspect remains at large.
Thus far, we know that the rapper was shot outside of a dealership where he was reportedly shopping for motorcycles.
Police have offered a reward for information leading to the arrest of Onfroy’s murderer.
It is widely believed his death is in some way linked to one of the many violent conflicts that defined the artist’s young life.
Perhaps not surprisingly, despite his youth, death was never far from Onfroy’s mind.
After word of his passing went public yesterday, quotes from what may have been Onfroy’s final interview appeared on social media:
“If worse thing comes to worst, and I f—ing die or some s— and I’m not able to see out my dreams, I at least want to know that the kids perceived my message and were able to make something of themselves and able to take my message and use it and turn it into something positive and to at least have a good life,” the rapper said
“If I’m going to die or ever be a sacrifice, I want to make sure that my life made at least five million kids happy or they found some sort of answers or resolve in my life regardless of the negative around my name, regardless of the bad things people say to me,” he concluded.

Rose McGowan: Don"t Blame Asia Argento For Anthony Bourdain"s Death!
Last week, the food world lost a true icon when Anthony Bourdain was found dead of an apparent suicide in a hotel room in France.
He was 61 years old.
Days later, details about the events surrounding Bourdain’s death are slowly beginning to trickle in, but the question of what could have driven one of the most widely-envied men on the planet to take his own life remains unanswered.
Fans and media outlets were quick to point out some unusual social media activity from Bourdain’s longtime girlfriend, Asia Argento, in the hours before the news of his passing became public knowledge.
An image in which the actress is seen wearing a shirt that reads “F-ck Off,” coupled with photos of Argento apparently vacationing with a male friend in France prompted a widespread theory that Bourdain was distraught over relationship problems.
In the final months of his life, Bourdain was an outspoken advocate of the #MeToo movement, and his activism brought him close to some of the most high-profile victims of sexual harassment in Hollywood, including the actress Rose McGowan.
Bourdain and McGowan quickly became close friends, and today, she published an open letter in which she addresses both his death and the rumors about his alleged relationship troubles.
“Sitting across from me is the remarkable human and brave survivor, Asia Argento, who has been through more than most could stand, and yet stand she does,” the letter reads.
“She stood up to her monster rapist and now she has to stand up to yet another monster, suicide. The suicide of her beloved lover and ally, Anthony Bourdain.”
McGowan goes on to claim that Bourdain and Argento were in an open relationship, and she implies he would not have been upset by the sight of Argento with another man:
“Anthony and Asia had a free relationship, they loved without borders of traditional relationships, and they established the parameters of their relationship early on,” McGowan states.
“Asia is a free bird, and so was Anthony. Was. Such a terrible word to write,” she adds.
“I’ve heard from many that the past two years they were together were some of his happiest and that should give us all solace.”
She later states:
“It is in no way fair or acceptable to blame her or anyone else, not even Anthony.”
McGowan says she’s angry about her friend’s death, but she also pleads for sympathy from those who feel that he took his own life out of selfishness or a lack of concern for his loved ones.
Shortly after learning of Bourdain’s death, Argento addressed the matter on Instagram, writing:
“His brilliant, fearless spirit touched and inspired so many, and his generosity knew no bounds. He was my love, my rock, my protector. I am beyond devastated. My thoughts are with his family. I would ask that you respect their privacy and mine.”

Charles Krauthammer, Conservative Pundit, Confirms Death is Near
Charles Krauthammer, the long-time conservative columnist and television pundit, informed readers on Friday morning that he is confronting an aggressive form of cancer.
He says he will be dead within the next few weeks.
“My doctors tell me their best estimate is that I have only a few weeks left to live,” Krauthammer wrote very simply in The Washington Post earlier today.
Krauthammer passed along this devastating piece of news in a short, matter-of-fact note on the website of the aforementioned newspaper, for which he’s worked as a columnist since 1984.
“I leave this life with no regrets,” Krauthammer added in the farewell message, which has been making the Internet rounds all day.
He continued:
“It was a wonderful life — full and complete with the great loves and great endeavors that make it worth living.
“I am sad to leave, but I leave with the knowledge that I lived the life that I intended.”
That’s a pretty amazing and admirable attitude for anyone to have, considering what Krauthammer is facing right now.
Krauthammer has also worked as commentator for Fox News over the past few years.
However, he was forced to step away from both the newspaper and the cable network last August for surgery to remove what he called at the time “a cancerous tumor in my abdomen.”
It appeared at one point as if the cancer was in remission, but Krauthammer confirmed on Friday that this positive news was only temporary.
“Recent tests have revealed that the cancer has returned,” he wrote. “There was no sign of it as recently as a month ago, which means it is aggressive and spreading rapidly.”
In his note to readers, Krauthammer thanked co-workers, readers, and viewers “who have made my career possible and given consequence to my life’s work.”
He added:
“I believe that the pursuit of truth and right ideas through honest debate and rigorous argument is a noble undertaking.
“I am grateful to have played a small role in the conversations that have helped guide this extraordinary nation’s destiny.”
A handful of folks in the world of TV and politics have also chimed in after learning of this tragic news.
For example, Rupert Murdoch, the executive chairman of Fox News, said in a statement Friday afternoon:
Charles has been a profound source of personal and intellectual inspiration for all of us at Fox News.
His always principled stand on the most important issues of our time has been a guiding star in an often turbulent world, a world that has too many superficial thinkers vulnerable to the ebb and flow of fashion, and a world that, unfortunately, has only one Charles Krauthammer.
His words, his ideas, his dignity and his integrity will resonate within our society and within me for many, many years to come.
And Vice President Mike Pence Tweeted the following:

Duggar Family Mourns the Death of a Loved One
Sad news out of Arkansas today, as members of the Duggar family are mourning a tragic loss.
Jessa Duggar broke the news on Facebook this week, asking for fans’ help in supporting the family of Dianna Fleshman, a longtime friend who was tragically struck down in her prime.
“Our hearts ache over the loss of this dear friend, but we know that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord,” Jessa wrote, along with a link to the family’s GoFundMe page.
“Please continue to pray for Dianna’s family, and especially for her husband and 2-month-old son, during this time.”
Jessa did not go into further detail, but according to the fundraising page, Dianna and her husband, Dylan Fleshman, were driving from Oklahoma to Minnesota with their infant son when they were struck by a crop-sprayer.
Dylan and Victor were unharmed, but Dianna died in a hospital six days after the accident.
“On Friday, the 25th of May, 2018 Dylan and Dianna Fleshman (from Guthrie, Oklahoma) were driving to her family’s house in Hayfield, Minnesota for dinner, when they collided with a large crop sprayer a half mile from the family’s home,” reads the GoFundMe page.
“Dylan and their two-month-old son Vincent came away from the accident without injury. However, Dianna received major head trauma and a fractured skull.”
As Dylan is now his infant son’s sole caretaker, it may be quite some time before he’s able to return to work.
“We are hoping to raise funds for Dylan and his family as he will be unable to work for an extended amount of time,” the family explained.
“We feel that $ 68,000 is a good start to help ease some of the financial pressure that he will be facing. Please keep the Fleshman family in your prayers as there are difficult decisions and hard times ahead.
“Thank you for your prayers and support. We are are hoping to raise this money over the next few weeks.”
Currently, more than $ 26,000 has been raised for Dianna’s family.
As one might expect of such a massive family, the Duggars have a massive network of friends.
And when they’re able to, they often use their considerable clout to lend a hand to those in need.
Just last year, a friend of Jill Duggar’s was murdered, and the Duggars stepped up to assist with fundraising efforts for the benefit of the woman’s family.
Money may seem a matter of little consequence in the face of death, but the Duggars seem well aware that for those left behind, it can help to alleviate a crushing burden.

DuShon Monique Brown: Cause of Death Revealed
We have an update on the unexpected death of DuShon Monique Brown.
As previously reported, the veteran Chicago Fire actress passed away in March at the relatively young age of 49.
At the time, sources reported that Brown had admitted herself to a hospital due to chest pains a few days before she left us, prompting a widespread belief that she died of a heart attach.
But People Magazine and TMZ now cite a representative for the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office who says Brown actually died from sepsis of unknown etiology.
This is an infection of the blood of unknown origin.
Contributing factors, according to this update, include hypertensive cardiovascular disease and obesity, per the same Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office.
This is what the world-renowned Mayo Clinic has to say about sepsis:
Sepsis is a potentially life-threatening complication of an infection. Sepsis occurs when chemicals released into the bloodstream to fight the infection trigger inflammatory responses throughout the body.
This inflammation can trigger a cascade of changes that can damage multiple organ systems, causing them to fail.
Septis also often hits after a wound is left untreated, which means this diagnosis leaves many questions left unanswered.
Brown, who played Connie, the assistant to Chief Boden, starred on Chicago Fire since the series premiere.
The actress, who was also a native of Chicago, also appeared on Prison Break from 2005 through 2007.
Other television roles from which you may recognize Brown include stints on Shameless and Empire.
“The Chicago Fire family is devastated to lose one of its own. Our thought and prayers are with DuShon’s family and we will all miss her,” said producer Dick Wolf in March upon learning of this awful news.
The Chicago Tribune reported shortly after Brown died that she had an extensive theater background, acting in multiple theater stages such as the Goodman, Lookingglass, Drury Lane, MPAACT, Victory Gardens and Pegasus Players
She was accomplished violinist who played with the Illinois Symphony Orchestra at the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana and she once worked as a counselor at a high school…

Mark Vanderpump: Cause of Death Finally Revealed?
Yesterday, we reported on the tragic death of Mark Vanderpump, the beloved brother of Bravo reality star Lisa Vanderpump.
It was initially reported that the 59-year-old DJ’s lifeless body was discovered in his London apartment, but as new details of Vanderpump’s death emerged, a different narrative began to take shape:
We now know that Mark was still alive when he was discovered, and he died later at a Swindon Hospital.
We also know that news of Mark’s passing was kept private for more than two weeks, with new reports confirming that he passed away on April 30.
Given his profession and history of substance abuse, it’s not hard to see why many jumped to the conclusion that Vanderpump’s death was the result of an accidental overdose.
But the controversial British model Gemma Walker – who had recently got engaged to Vanderpump – says that’s not the case.
Walker tells Radar Online that she’s 100 percent Mark intended to take his own life:
“It was for sure suicide,” the 36-year-old tells Radar.
“I was the last person he spoke to.”
Walker dated Vanderpump for the final three years of his life after receiving permission to carry on an affair from her previous husband, who believed the relationship might alleviate her depression.
(“It was better to have an adulterous wife than have no mother for our two children,” Mike Ramsay later said in a divorce hearing.)
Walker says she realized too late that Vanderpump was saying goodbye to her in his final text messages:
“He sent me a text message that said he was going to a better place,” she said.
“The last message he sent me was ‘My fingers are getting slower.’ I didn’t understand it at first. I was calling him and texting him back, and I heard nothing.”
Walker says she’s been inconsolable in the weeks since Vanderpump’s death, telling Radar:
“Of course I am devastated. I loved him very much. I am with my family now.”
Vanderpump and Walker’s relationship was often a subject of interest to the British tabloid press, and not only because of the unusual circumstances under which their relationship began.
Prior to meeting Walker, Vanderpump participated in a reality show with the stated goal of helping men find “gold digger” girlfriends.
Vanderpump’s appearance on Gold Diggers and Proud came on the heels of his divorce from his wife of 22 years.
He stated at the time that he enjoyed dating “four or five women” at a time, and while promoting the show, he secured a date with a 31-year-old co-star after gifting her with a $ 50,000 ring on live TV.
Walker was present when Mark got into a loud public altercation with his famous sister back in January.
“Lisa and her husband Ken and daughter Pandora were eating dinner with her brother Mark and a few others,” one witness told Radar at the time.
“They were all obviously really upset. Lisa and her brother were shouting at each other so that the entire restaurant could hear! … At one point, Lisa’s brother slammed his hands on the table and screamed ‘Enough is enough!’”

Mark Vanderpump: New Details Emerge on Death of Reality Star"s Brother
We have an update to the very sad story we posted yesterday about Lisa Vanderpump’s brother, Mark.
As detailed on this website and on other outlets across the Internet, the long-time Bravo star lost her brother back on April 30, with various sources confirming Mark Vanderpump died of a drug overdose.
He was only 59 years old.
Many questions remain unanswered when it comes to this tragic development, such:
- Whether or not Mark deliberately took too many pills.
- Whether they actually were pills (or some other drug).
- Or whether this was an accidental death.
In time, we presume most of these questions will be answered.
For now, however, we can at least turn to Radar Online for an update on what happened to the British DJ.
Contrary to initial reports about his passing, an insider tells Radar that Mark was NOT found dead in his Gloucestershire home.
Instead, he was discovered while unconscious and taken to a nearby hospital.
This is where he passed away.
“He died in a Swindon Hospital and was transferred here on the 1st of May,” a UK official tells Radar.
The official confirmed the Coroner’s Office in Gloucestershire will be carrying out an investigation in the near future, one that will involve an autopsy to confirm an exact cause of death.
We’ll be sure to update readers with the results once they’re made public.
This may not happen any time soon, however.
Mark’s inquest was opened on May 10; and the coroner has scheduled a final court hearing to discuss the findings for cause of death for October 9, 2018.
Until then, we’ll continue to send our condolences to the entire Vanderpump family.
In light of this horrible incident, the veteran Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member has released the following statement:
This has come as a shock to us all. My brother and I had connected the day before this tragedy and I was completely unprepared for this.
He was my only sibling and I am shocked and saddened by his passing. I am trying to be supportive to his two young sons that he has left behind, and help them get through this tragedy.
We appreciate your consideration in this private and extremely difficult family time.
Mark and Lisa had a close relationship.
They often went on vacation together and the former often dined at his sister’s famous restaurants.
Lisa has thus far remained very quiet on social media and in public in the weeks since her brother was found dead.
We don’t know when she’ll speak out again, but we can’t imagine the pain she must be in and we hope she takes as much time as she needs to heal properly before doing so.
