Audrey Roloff Faces Backlash for "Inappropriate" Beach Photos of Baby Daughter
Audrey Roloff is not known for stirring up controversy.
Yes, early in her reality show career, the Little People, Big World star received some flak about posing naked in a bathtub, mostly because she has built a reputation as being a rather staunch Christian.
This incident took place in August of 2016.
Since then, Audrey has mostly just used her Instagram page as a way to gush about three things:
- Her faith.
- Her husband.
- And, now that she’s been a mother for about eight months, her daughter Ember Jean.
When Audrey does create outrage online, it’s typically due to something she said regarding these loved ones or her religion.
For example, Roloff (deservedly perhaps?) heard it from many followers a few days ago after an episode of Little People, Big World aired in which she labeled baby formula as “sinful.”
We can understand why lots of people did not react favorably to that terminology.
But we most definitely cannot fathom why so many trolls out there are dragging Audrey all over the place for her latest set of social media photos.
One is posted above and the other below.
They were snapped of the relatively new mother during a recent trip to Hawaii… and they’re adorable, right?!?
They feature Audrey and Ember at total peace and contentment on the beach.
At least that’s how we interpreted the images.
However, others on the Internet have sadly focused on Ember’s lack of clothing and actually given Audrey a hard time for sharing pictures of her naked child online.
“WTH, Auds, put a bathing suit on her!” one disgusted Internet user wrote in reply to this image, while another labeled it as “inappropriate” and still another went as far as to call it “pornographic.”
That’s just crazy talk, in our opinion, and it says a lot more about the person writing it than about Audrey herself.
But one comment did hit home a little more accurately.
One person noted that the pictures are harmless and cute, but that there are “pervs” on the Web that may look at them the “wrong way,” encouraging Audrey to be aware of such gross individuals when posting such snapshots.
We can sadly see that.
Roloff, to her credit, is not letting the misguided haters get her down.
She shared a lengthy caption with these pictures that summed up her take on motherhood so far.
“This was an evening of undistracted playfulness with our little girl. Splashing in the ocean and digging in the sand,” opened Audrey, adding:
“I think it was C.S. Lewis that said, ‘Children aren’t a distraction from more important work. They are the most important work.’
“I’ll admit it. I’m a heroic multitasker. And although this might be a skill worthy of praise in our culture, it’s a tendency I’m trying to fight against. I want to be more present, more tuned-in, and more alive in each moment, task, or encounter.
“Especially when it comes to motherhood.”
She concluded:
I don’t want to model busyness, I want my life to reflect discipline, priorities, and healthy rhythms of rest. I want my daughter to know by my actions that raising her is a privellage and a blessing, not a burden.
Moms how do you fight agaisnt the temptaion to multitask?!
This isn’t the first time Audrey has reached out to her fellow moms.

Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino Pleads Guilty to Tax Fraud, Faces 15 Years Behind Bars
We’ve got quite a situation here, folks.
Just as the Jersey Shore cast is reuniting for a second shot at reality TV stardom, one of the show’s most infamous figures may be headed to jail for a very long time.
But hey, at least he’ll have plenty of time to work on those famous abs.
Back in April of 2017, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino was charged with tax fraud alongside his brother and business partner, Marc Sorrentino.
According to court documents obtained by Page Six, The Sitch has pled guilty “not paying all federal income tax owed on approximately $ 8.9 million … earned between 2010 and 2012.”
And it seems that Mike didn’t simply forget to dot the I’s and cross the T’s on his 1040:
“They also stand accused of commingling their business and personal bank accounts so that they could get away with spending the money on ‘high-end luxury vehicles and clothing,’” a source close to the case claims.
Mike also stands accused of making “multiple cash deposits on the same day in amounts less than $ 10,000, into different bank accounts that he controlled” in an effort to avoid reporting his earnings to the IRS.
Mike and Marc were first offered the plea deal on December 19 but rejected it due to the lengthy amount of time they might spend behind bars.
It seems Mike is facing 15 years in prison, while his brother might be put away for a whopping 25 years.
Legal experts say it’s unlikely that they’ll receive the maximum sentence, but note that some jail time seems inevitable.
Last year, the Sorrentinos appeared on Marriage Boot Camp (they really need to fix that title), where they discussed the charges against them and admitted to being fearful of going to prison.
Interestingly, Mike is not the first Garden State-based reality star to be convicted of tax fraud in recent years.
Real Housewives of New Jersey regular Teresa Giudice served 15 months in prison on similar charges back in 2015.
Her husband, Joe Giudice, is currently serving 4 years behind bars.
There’s no word yet on whether or not Mike will be able to appear in the upcoming Jersey Shore: Family Vacation.
Which is a shame, because it certainly sounds like he could use the cash!

Mohamed Jbali Faces Deportation After Losing Paperwork!
As you know, Mohamed Jbali has moved to Texas. Though he provides his followers with updates (and life advice) pretty regularly, he’s said that he doesn’t want to appear on 90 Day Fiance anymore.
Right now, he’s intent on working and enjoying his new life in America. Unfortunately, that may come to an end.
Sunday morning, he shared an image of a very formal letter of denial from US Customs and Immigration.
It’s been clear to most 90 Day Fiance fans that Mohamed Jbali’s entire motive for marrying a US citizen was to acquire legal residence for himself.
He came to the US, had sex with Danielle Mullins (once), and became one of the most talked-about stars on a reality series.
At the very least, you’d think that now that he has that marriage and his short-lived reality career behind him, he could move on and enjoy his new life in Texas.
But … maybe not.
So, remember back in October when we told you about how Mohamed Jbali might face deportation after some very important documents vanished in the mail en route to US Citizenship and Immigration Services?
It turns out that, though the vast majority of Green Cards are renewed, they are really not the sorts of forms that you want to get lost in the mail.
Take a look at Mohamed Jbali’s crushing news:
Jbali shared this on Sunday morning, with the caption:
“Sometimes the law does not make any sense because the person who made it never been in that situation.”
He didn’t post the entirety of what looks like a rejection letter, but you can see the word “Denial” written pretty clearly.
It’s even in bold.
Interestingly, part of the form that Mohamed hasn’t seen fit to share with fans would contain the explanations for why he’s being denied.
(If his application had been accepted, it’s our understanding that it would have been good for another decade)
Whether it’s because the forms vanished in the mail and were therefore late or there’s more to it (we can’t help but wonder if Danielle Mullins’ quest for revenge is somehow involved)
Regardless, though, this is crushing news for Mohamed Jbali.
Whatever you may think of Mohamed from what you saw of him on 90 Day Fiance, this is a not-great situation.
We’re sure that Mohamed wishes that his biggest legal worry were over Danielle Mullins suing him for withholding sex during their marriage (basically).
There is, however, hope.
As countless fans pointed out in comments, if your application for permanent residency is denied, there’s an appeals process.
That can be expensive, time-consuming, and stressful … but after everything that Mohamed’s gone through to get to where he is today, we can’t imagine that he’s going to just throw up his hands and wander back to Tunisia.
Whether or not Mohamed manages to win his appeal will probably be contingent upon why he was denied in the first place.
In addition to having been a reality star — that’s about as American as you can get — he’s also gainfully employed, paying both rent and taxes on top of other expenses. To our knowledge, he hasn’t been in legal trouble since his move to Texas.
So, if it’s just because the form was lost, we’d sure hope that he’d win his appeal.
(As some fans pointed out, sometimes denials are sent out because most people won’t go through the work to fight them, even though a court battle is still less stressful than deportation)
We wonder if the brevity of his marriage to Danielle Mullins was a factor, however. We’re no experts on immigration, but if officials decide that Mohamed scammed his way into the US, that could work against him.
We sure hope that the people deciding his case are not 90 Day Fiance viewers.

Mark Salling Pleads Guilty in Child Porn Case, Faces 4-7 YEARS in Prison
Actor Mark Salling could be facing some serious prison time after entering a plea of guilty to child pornography charges today.
The ex-Glee star pleaded guilty in the case, which reportedly involved possession of material involving a prepubescent minor.
This comes over a year following his arrest, after which he appeared in an L.A. courtroom for his arraignment and pleaded not guilty.
The terms of his plea agreement state that Salling would serve 4-7 years behind bars followed by up to 20 years of supervised release.
Conditions of said release will be determined by the court.
Mark Salling will also have to register as a sex offender and participate in psychological counseling and/or enroll in a treatment program.
In June of last year, the 35-year-old was indicted on two charges of receiving and possessing child pornography on his laptop.
It was also on a hard drive and 16GB USB flash drive.
He got arrested December 29, 2015, at which point Salling’s devices were seized by investigators from the Los Angeles Police Department.
The items “contained thousands of images and videos depicting child pornography,” according to police involved with the case.
Days after Salling’s indictment, he was fired from his gig on the miniseries Gods and Secrets. He has kept a low profile since.
In May of last year, he was indicted on two charges of child pornography, which carries a possible 20-year jail term for each.
Around the time of his arraignment, court documents were obtained detailing the graphic extent of the evidence against him.
The documents contained 100,000 pages of evidence of Mark’s crimes, including photos and forensic examination results.
Yes, 100,000 pages.
“Several digital devices containing images of child pornography” are also said to exist, and that’s not even the worst part.
Salling allegedly even had a video in his possession that was purported to show a five-year-old performing a sex act.
Unbelievable.
Naya Rivera, who co-starred with him on Glee and reportedly had a fling with him back in the day, said she wasn’t surprised.
“My son’s nanny actually told me about it when the story broke,” Naya writes in her book Sorry, Not Sorry: Dreams, Mistakes and Growing Up.
“I can’t say I was totally shocked, but still – WTF? Then I had no doubt that God really did have my back along the way.”
