Brody Jenner and Kaitlynn Carter: Married! But Certain Guests Never Showed ...
More than two years ago, in 2016, Brody Jenner and Kaitlynn Carter became engaged.
Over the weekend, these two lovebirds finally tied the knot.
But the Kardashian-Jenner clan was decidedly absent.
Congratulations are in order for Brody Jenner and for his new wife, Kaitlynn Carter!
The two tied the knot in Nihi, Sumba Island, which is a luxury island resort that’s about 250 miles east of Bali, Indonesia.
The ceremony took place on Saturday, June 2.
No one really expected the Kardashians themselves to show up.
Awkwardly, Brody’s sisters, Kylie and Kendall, weren’t there.
Most significantly, Caitlyn Jenner did not attend her own son’s wedding.
The absence of Kylie and Kendall is not really a surprise … because, as we noted last week, they didn’t even RSVP.
Brody admitted as much when speaking to People, saying: “My two little sisters, we never even heard from them.”
Of course, that might be because he’s the sort of person who doesn’t mind being frank with news outlets about family drama.
“They never even RSVP’d I don’t think.”
That’s not shocking — after all, Brody didn’t even know that Kylie was pregnant.
“We sent them an invite but we just never heard anything back.”
He sounded resigned about it.
“Well, they’ll be missed.”
But he really would have liked to see them.
“I would have loved to have had them there.”
Brody’s father, Caitlyn Jenner, was also not in attendance.
Though we discussed rumors that it was Cait’s girlfriend who kept her from the nuptials, Brody had previously said that Cait couldn’t come because of a prior “business opportunity.”
As it turns out, Cait was in Vienne, Austria on Friday night to attend the LIFE+ Solidarity Gala. And yes, gal pal Sophia Hutchins was with her.
On Saturday, the day of the wedding, Cait and Sophia were at the Life Ball, held in Vienne’s City Hall.
It was the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the annual charity event, which raises funds for HIV and AIDS projects.
You know, normally we’d take a harsh tone towards a parent missing their own child’s wedding.
After all, Caitlyn is rich and can afford to miss opportunities. And it’s not as though she disapproves of the union or of Kaitlynn.
But apparently Cait had been locked into these plans for months.
This is why you don’t schedule your wedding at the last minute.
And you know what else?
If a close member of your family is one of the most famous members of the LGBT+ community on the entire planet … maybe you shouldn’t schedule your wedding for the first weekend of Pride Month.
It’s not really a surprise that Cait had plans, now is it?
We will say that Kendall and Kylie don’t have an excuse like Cait’s.
They’re Brody’s siblings, they’re also super rich. And they didn’t even RSVP.
(Don’t say that Kylie had to be with her baby — Stormi has a father and a grandmother and a bunch of aunts and also nannies)
But, as we implied earlier, we cannot help but wonder if Brody’s penchant for speaking to the media about his family and family drama — without consulting anyone — played a role in that.
Things haven’t always been rosy for this family. Maybe Brody’s half-sisters aren’t ready to move on.

Meghan Markle-Prince Harry Wedding: The Dress! The Guests! The Photos!
Well, it"s official, folks!
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are married, and the former Suits actress is now a member of the royal family.
In most respects, the ceremony resembled previous royal weddings.
But in several important ways, Harry and Meghan made it their own.
Meghan wore a surprisingly simple Givenchy dress featuring hand-embroidered designs of flowers from every Commonwealth country.
Harry was decked out in full military regalia.
Both parties were openly head over heels with one another, displaying emotion we"re not accustomed to seeing from the royals.
Here"s a complete list of the fashion statements and other highlights from Harry and Meghan"s big day:
1. The Royal Couple
Meghan arrived at the ceremony decked out in a Givenchy gown that carried special symbolic meaning related Prince Harry’s appointment as Commonwealth Youth Ambassador.
2. A Special Tribute
Meghan’s five-meter veil featured hand embroidered designs representing flowers from every Commonwealth country.
3. The Tiara
As expected, Meghan also paid tribute to the royal women who came before her. The tiara that Meghan wore was provided by Harry’s grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.
4. A Little History
The diamond bandeau of the tiara was made in 1932. The brooch at its center was created way back in 1893
5. Woke Wedding
The ceremony reflected Harry and Meghan’s social conscience in several ways. Meghan made a feminist statement by walking part-way down the aisle alone, and her dress was designed by Clare Waight Keller, Givenchy’s first female artistic director.
6. The Bouquet
There’s a bit of history hidden in Meghan’s bouquet, as well. Each previous royal bride dating back to Queen Victoria planted a bit of myrtle from their own bouquet for use in future ceremonies.

Dr. Phil Accused of Prividing Alcohol, Drugs to Addict Guests
Plenty of people aren’t surprised to hear that accusations are coming out about Dr. Phil. He’s been slammed with lawsuits and allegations before.
But this report, the published results an an investigation by The Boston Globe and STAT, allege something very different that goes right to the heart of the “treatments” that Dr. Phil claims to provide.
Dr. Phil’s show is accused of, among other things, providing addicts who are seeking treatment with the substances that they crave.
As we all know, Dr. Phil was made famous by Danielle Bregoli … with a little help from Oprah a couple of decades earlier.
He purportedly helps people with their problems, be it behavior or substance abuse issues using the sort of folksy “wisdom” that you’d expect from a towering Texan walrus in human form.
But does his show really help people … or does he march people out in front of the cameras, let his audience ogle that person’s problems, and then make a show of setting their life on track without really helping?
Does Dr. Phil actually make things worse, endangering guests for the sake of good ratings?
Todd Herzog won his season of Survivor: China in 2008. But in 2013, it seemed like he wasn’t going to survive much longer.
When he appeared on Dr. Phil’s show, he was so wildly intoxicated that he literally had to be carried out to his chair.
According to the investigation by STAT and The Boston Globe, the audience never knew the whole story.
“Herzog, who was battling alcoholism, told STAT and the Boston Globe that he was not intoxicated when he arrived at the Los Angeles studio.”
You’d think that, even if he had shown up drunk, they would have worked to sober him up, right?
“In his dressing room, he said he found a bottle of Smirnoff vodka. He drank all of it. Then someone handed him a Xanax, he said, telling him it would ‘calm his nerves."”
Oh. Wow.
That’s just one allegation.
“Guests have been left without medical help as they face withdrawal from drugs.”
And there’s a very disturbing allegation included in the report of, well, another variety.
“One person said she was directed by a show staff member to an open-air drug market to find heroin for her detoxing niece.”
Neither of those should happen for someone who is seeking treatment for addiction issues.
A representative for the show, Martin Greenberg, denied the accusations about Herzog, the bottle of vodka, and the Xanax.
“We do not do that with this guest or any other.”
He goes on to refer to the allegations as “absolutely, unequivocally untrue.”
We think that it’s possible for a single isolated incident to be the actions of a rogue producer who makes bad choices.
But we’re talking about an alleged pattern of behavior on the part of the series, here, not about one bottle in the wrong room.
It’s also worth noting, as the report does, that some of Dr. Phil’s own employees have spoken out before.
“Some of McGraw’s own employees have raised alarms about the treatment of guests.”
And about the treatment of employees.
“In one lawsuit filed last year against McGraw and his production company in Los Angeles Superior Court, a former segment director, Leah Rothman, accused McGraw of false imprisonment for trapping employees in a room to threaten them over leaks to the media.”
Yikes. And it sounds like guests fare even worse.
“Rothman also alleged that guests complained that their lives were ‘ruined.’ One guest attempted suicide after the show, according to a deposition with another staff member.”
This is hardly the first time that Dr. Phil has been accused of exploiting vulnerable people for entertainment purposes.
(Remember when his dubious interview with Shelly Duvall?)
But the accusation that Dr. Phil’s producers are directing addicts on where to buy drugs before filming is a little unsettling.
It’d be nice to believe that maybe producers just want to make sure that addicts buy drugs from safer dealers if they’re going to buy them somewhere.
But none of that would explain away that alleged vodka bottle. Or that Xanax.
And considering the massive profits that Dr. Phil — the show and the man — rakes in, you have to look if they have a motive to make things look worse and more sensational for the cameras.
And perhaps less of a motive to make sure that everybody gets helped.
These accusations are alarming. Will further accusations follow?

Couple Asks Wedding Guests If They Want to Eat a Child
Look, it’s really difficult to plan a wedding.
We get that.
You have to pick out a dress… and a location… and rings… and flowers… and by the time you get to the invitation, you may very well be sick of the entire thing.
So we understand that some engaged couples may not want to proofread these items. They just want to mail them and be done with it.
But, well, that means the above mistake could possibly be made.
Yes, one boyfriend and girlfriend accidentally (we assume… we hope!) asked their wedding guests if they want beef for dinner; pork for dinner; or a child for dinner.
They would also like to know if this child you want to eat is under 12 years old.
As you might expect, the Internet has quite enjoyed this snafu.
It went viral on Reddit and on Imgur, prompting responses that are funnier than anything we could think of. To wit:
Some couples out there do like to have purposely fun with their invites, of course.
For example, the betrothed twosome behind the card below want to know if you’ll “Enthusiastically Attend,” “Regretfully Decline,” “Regretfully Attend” or “Enthusiastically Decline.”
We love it.
The RSVP request that follows, meanwhile, takes this same concept one step further.
It offers those same four options, along with “Will Decline to Response But Ultimately Attend.”
How many married couples out there right now are nodding along while smiling?
So many brides and grooms have been there.
But no couple in history can top what the following man and woman did with their wedding invitation.
It calls out people who bring a date despite not being told they could… it asks whether you are an ex-boyfriend of the bride… it wonders whether you plan on hooking up with a groomsman.
It’s amazing and perfect and hilarious in every conceivable way.
So the engaged pair who inadvertently inquired about whether guests want to eat a child can take some solace at least.
Perhaps their guests had seen these previous RSVPs and just thought the couple was joking.
Not in any sort of humorous way, granted, but it’s better to be unfunny than lazy, right?
And definitely better to be unfunny than cannibalistic.

Disney Guests WARNED Staff About Alligator Sightings Right Before Attack
Two-year-old Lane Graves was filling up his bucket with water for a sand castle when he was attacked at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort’s beach.
Now, in an official investigation conducted by The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, two witness accounts change almost everything about what happened on the night of June 14th.
Shawna Giacomini of North Carolina said that she was at the same beach at 8:15 p.m. with her two daughters, about 15 minutes before the attack
“The daughters saw an alligator about 5 feet from shore, near the marsh,” according to the report.
“The eldest daughter told the WDW AV/Movie Coordinator about the alligator. The person she told ran to a man whose shirt said ‘Coordinator’ and told him about the alligator.
“The Giacomini’s went to the store and when they returned, the attack had already occurred.”
Another guest, Afred Smith sent an email to the investigators on June 15th. He recalled seeing (then taking a photo of) an alligator from his balcony at the Grand Floridian just before 7:45 p.m.
Smith wrote that he pointed the alligator out to an Disney employee, and just before the attack occurred, he saw children wading ankle deep in the lagoon while a screening of Zootopia was being shown on the beach.
Just as he was going out to warn everyone on the beach, Smith said he heard Graves’ mother “scream.”
The Graves family had stated back in June that they were not looking to sue Walt Disney World over what happened. However, these new accounts of possible neglect on resort employee’s part could change everything.
“Melissa and I are broken,” Matt and his wife said said in a statement after the toddler’s body was found.
“We will solely be focused on the future health of our family and will not be pursuing a lawsuit against Disney.”
Matt Graves tried to wrestle his son’s body out of the alligator’s jaws, but the animal was able to swim away with its victim. Lane’s body was found the next day under 6-7 feet of water by police officers.

Blac Chyna: FORCES Party Guests to Download Her App for Entrance!
I guess it’s not that steep of a cover charge if you think about it.
Still, guests who attended Blac Chyna’s birthday party last night were left with a bad taste in their mouth after hearing about the entrance fee.
According to Radar, attendees were required to download Blac’s new CHYmoji app in order to gain entrance to the shindig, which was held at the Hard Rock Cafe in Hollywood, Calif.
“Please download the CHYmoji app before you arrive and show the attendant the icon on your phone when you check in to the event,” read the instructions on the invitation, reports the site.
Chyna’s new emoji app debuted this week at number one on the App Store and is available for $ 1.99.
“It was absolutely ridiculous,” complained one party-goer.
“People were being turned away because they did not have her app downloaded to their phones and not everyone has iPhones!
“One guest’s phone was dead, and they almost didn’t let him in!”
Listen, I’ve been to those Hollywood clubs and have seen bouncers turn people away for a lot less than that.
Nevertheless, this just adds fuel to the rumors that Blac is a money-hungry fame monger who got knocked up by Rob Kardashian to cash in on his family’s fortune.
Earlier this week, we reported that the model filed papers to trademark the name “Angela Kardashian.”
(Blac’s real name is Angela White.)
She reportedly intends to use the name for “entertainment services, namely live television and movie appearances,” as well as “living as a social media celebrity, model, actress, and performer.”
What will happen to Blac Chyna? Should she have thought about that before releasing CHYmoji?
Because ANGmoji just doesn’t have the same ring to it.
