Khloe Kardashian Relives the Moment She Heard that Lamar Odom Had DIED!
Kylie Jenner might be pregnant, which is interesting news but also the best imaginable press for the Keeping Up With The Kardashians 10th Anniversary Special that airs on Sunday.
They have an entire decade of their family"s dramatic ups and downs to cover, but obviously there are some highlights that they couldn"t gloss over. One of them being Lamar Odom"s overdose.
In the sneak peek below, Khloe talks about when she first received the news — which she later learned was false — informing her that Lamar Odom had died.
It might not seem like that long ago, but it was nearly two years ago when Lamar Odom had a very serious "medical event" while in a Las Vegas brothel.
At the time, it was really unclear if he was going to survive.
The Kardashians got blasted for filming Keeping Up With The Kardashians at the hospital.
(You know, the usual — people accused them of being vultures, of using Lamar"s near-death experience for publicity and drama, etc)
But this was a genuintely upsetting thing for them. Lamar was family, and not just to Khloe.
In fact, that"s how the topic came up at the reunion special, as you can see in the sneak peek below.
This anecdote, in which the Kardashians relive this dramatic and traumatic moment when they first got the news about Lamar, starts with Kendall.
Kendall Jenner was asked about what was, in all of her years of filming the show, the hardest scene or moment to film.
Kendall sort of … pivots.
She instead describes the day that was the hardest, for her, to do any sort of work.
This was, of course, when she heard the news of Lamar Odom"s overdose.
"I landed in London and the first text that popped into my phone, it was from Kim and it had said, "Lamar passed away.""
Now, that was not true. Bear with her, for a moment.
"I, like, immediately started sobbing on the plane. Then I got — the next text came through saying, "OK, actually he"s OK, he"s alive, but he"s not doing well.""
Again, Lamar was family. That"s not easy for anyone to deal with.
Khloe, who was of course closer to Lamar and this story than any of her siblings, talks about what that moment was like for her.
"On the plane, they said he died. Someone faked it."
Kim explains what happened.
"Someone made a fake account. And emailed me with the wrong information."
That"s a nasty, inexcusable thing to do to someone.
To anyone — not just to a celebrity.
Khloe"s personal emotional reaction was … not subtle. She was inconsolable.
"I was screaming."
Lamar Odom has insisted that he wasn"t on drugs, or even drunk, that night at the brothel.
Obviously, there"s nothing wrong with visiting a brothel of voluntary sex workers, just as there"s nothing wrong with sex work itself.
Many were scandalized by his circumstances at the time, but it"s important to note that he wasn"t cheating on Khloe.
Lamar and Khloe were, at the time, still legally bound but they were definitely exes.
Thankfully, Lamar has since recovered.

Jenelle Evans: Forget What You Heard, I Love My Kids!
If you’ve been keeping up with the comings and goings of Jenelle Evans, then you know that things aren’t going so great right now.
Things are actually going very, very badly.
Sure, she’s been doing her best to keep up that picture-perfect image she’s been so intent on creating for the past year or two.
And that’s where that admittedly cute family photo above comes in!
Jenelle shared that photo of all three of her kids together — there’s Jace, Kaiser, and little baby Ensley, all in one picture!
“All of mommas ducklings,” she captioned the sweet photo, along with the hashtag “Family First.”
It really is a special occasion that all of her offspring are able to come together in the same place — after all, all three of them have different fathers.
Her oldest child, Jace, lives with Barbara Evans, and though Kaiser and Ensley both live with Jenelle, she usually just shares photos of her little girl while Kaiser runs around unattended outside or gets yelled at for being a toddler.
So is it nice to see a photo like this?
Of course!
But is it nice enough to make us forget about the absolute mess that is Jenelle’s life right now?
Absolutely not.
In just two short weeks, she will be headed to court in the custody case for that adorable Kaiser — and despite her unbelievable luck when it comes to court, there’s a chance she could actually face some consequences for her actions this time.
Earlier this month, Kaiser’s grandmother — Nathan Griffith’s mother — Doris Davidson filed for emergency custody of Kaiser because, as she claimed, Jenelle and her soon-to-be husband, David Eason, had been abusing him.
She said that she’d been documenting bruises she’s seen after picking the kid up for his visits, and she even said that he’d told her David had punched him in the head.
On top of that, she claimed that Jenelle and David had been neglecting him, letting him play outside by himself.
He just recently had his third birthday, by the way.
So, you know, he’s a little too young to be taking care of himself.
Another issue Doris listed is Jenelle’s recent case with child protective services — the case began right after Ensley was born with marijuana in her system.
That case is what really heated up the custody battle for Jace — Barbara was informed of Ensley’s drug test and the madness that followed, and that’s when she banned Jenelle from seeing him.
It’s also probably why Jenelle agreed to visitation in mediation instead of fighting for full custody.
The whole thing is just the biggest mess that ever was, right?
And though she’s obviously trying to make it seem like everything’s fine with photos like that one of her with all of her “ducklings,” not many people are fooled.
“So easy to pose in a photo for five seconds,” one person commented on the photo. “Try taking care of all of them everyday.”
“Is it just me or anyone else find it comical that #familyfirst was used for a hashtag?!? Lol…” another wrote.
One person decided to mock Jenelle, writing “Look I’m such a great mom…. But only on social media for likes.”
But hey, it’s nice that on this one particular occasion she was able to get all three kids together and take such a good family photo.
This might be a whole lot harder to do after her upcoming court case …

Amber Heard & Elon Musk: It"s Over!
The celebrity couples sure are falling of late, and the latest pair to add to the list is Amber Heard and Elon Musk, who are parting ways after just over one year together.
A source for the couple confirmed the sad news to Us Weekly.
“The timing wasn’t good for them,” said the source.
“He’s super busy and works all the time. Amber is filming [Aquaman] in Australia until October. She’s in no position to settle with him. She feels her career is just starting.”
That final part about the “career just starting” is a little telling.
Amber has been acting and modeling for many years now, so our best takeaway from that last part is that all of the drama with Johnny Depp has opened up a world of possibilities regarding her career.
With Elon being a tech billionaire (he’s worth a cool $ 13.3 billion!) and Heard being a popular actress, it’s entirely plausible that being in other parts of the world from one another brought this relationship to a grinding halt.
However, Elon and his sons were spotted around the are in Australia that Aquaman was being filmed, so it seems like they tried to make the long distance thing work.
It’s difficult to be apart from a loved one, and if they are struggling now, they were best to call it quits.
It could have been so much worse down the line if they were married and had kids.
The duo initially met in 2013, but they never took things further until after Amber’s marriage to Johnny Depp came to a brutal and public conclusion.
Despite not originally confirming they were a thing, it became apparent when they were spotted like teenagers sneaking around and leaving each other’s rooms at the Delano hotel in Miami.
Maybe they didn’t know if they were serious or not, and considering the headlines that were following Amber around at the time, we’re not surprised she kept it on the down low.
Heard officially confirmed she was getting jiggy with Musk in April when she took to Instagram with a picture of them at a high-class romantic dinner.
Despite their careers taking them all over the world, it just was not meant to be, and they have parted ways.
Us Weekly recently said that Elon pursued Amber “but she wouldn’t go out with him for a long time.”
Was she just not that into him and thought it would be worth giving a try?
We have no idea, but this does not seem like the type of breakup that will go nuclear in the press, so Amber will likely be breathing a huge sigh of relief right about now.

Daniel Stern Pens Touching Tribute to John Heard: The Coolest Cat EVER!
Home Alone star Daniel Stern took to Twitter to share an emotional letter to his longtime friend and co-star John Heard, who died Friday.
Stern, 59, told fans that he knew Heard as far back as the early ’70s, long before the movie for which both actors became best known.
Stern played one half of the Wet Bandits, Marv, while Heard played family patriarch Peter McCallister in the 1990 Christmas film classic.
When he heard the sad news that John Heard died suddenly at the age of 72, Stern wrote an emotional letter, which he posted to Twitter.
In it, he detailed their history together and the side of an actor even many longtime fans of his work probably aren’t familiar with.
“John Heard was the coolest cat in New York City for about 10 straight years, 1974-1984,” Stern, who also starred in City Slickers, wrote.
“Ask anybody who was there then. Every actor wanted to be as intense as him, every woman wanted to sleep with him.”
“He was defiant, he was poetic, he was ridiculously generous,” Stern said of his friend, “and he was charismatic as hell.”
Stern explained that he met Heard the day he moved to New York City to become an actor, and that John changed his life as a result.
“John was the very first person I knew to be in a movie,” he wrote. “It had never crossed my mind that that was a thing you could do.”
“I was a theater rat in high school,” Stern says, “and New York only meant trying to be a professional actor in the theater.”
After Heard invited Stern to a showing of his 1977 movie Between the Lines, the Maryland native realized that he, too, could do films.
Early on in his career, Stern and his wife, Laure Mattos, were plagued by financial troubles; Heard helped out whenever he could.
“We were amazed that he had that kind of cash to throw around,” he said of Heard, who frequently treated them to dinners out.
“It was so sweet over the years to have our family and home become a place of ‘normalcy’ in John’s otherwise frenetic life.”
“He so loved having his ‘kid brother’ do good and thrilled at our kids’ accomplishments,” he said of their lasting friendship.
Stern notes that many obituaries have referred to him as “Home Alone actor John Heard” when he was so much more.
As Stern admitted in his letter, which appears below, “What’s funny is I never remember that John is even in that movie.”
“I’ve only ever really watched it once, and he and the family were all so great in it. But we never had any scenes in it together.”
“We only crossed paths on the set once or twice.”
Even remembering him only as an actor wouldn’t do him justice, his friend said, because of the simple but profound way he lived.
“Nothing was more intense than John’s performance in life,” Stern concluded his tribute. “He lived it hard, fast and fearlessly.”
“He was a romantic and a raconteur.”
“He was as loyal and generous as they come. He was a friend and a brother and a legend in his time. RIP John.”
As for his passing, various reports regarding Heard’s cause of death have surfaced, but nothing has been concluded definitively.

John Heard: Shocking Cause of Death Revealed?!
Yesterday, we heard the tragic news that John Heard had passed away.
He was 72 years old.
John, an actor best known for his roles in the Home Alone movies and for his stint on The Sopranos, was found dead in a hotel room on Friday in Palo Alto, California.
Hotel staff called for help, but he was pronounced dead as soon as police arrived on the scene.
At this point, his death is being investigated by the coroner — there was no obvious cause, but foul play is not suspected.
Interestingly, his rep revealed that just two days before John’s body was found, he had a minor back surgery. He was staying at the hotel while he recovered.
So what happened? Did he experience some complications from the surgery? Did he have other unknown health issues?
Obviously, we won’t know for sure until the coroner releases a report.
But in the meantime, John’s third wife, Lana Pritchard, believes she knows what happened to the beloved actor.
Lana, who was married to John for seven months in 2010 but who remained close with him, says in an interview with Radar Online that she was “heartbroken” to hear the news of his death.
“I cannot believe John is dead,” she states. “His second wife Sharon phoned me with the news and then I saw it all over social media.”
And then she drops the bomb:
“I firmly believe that he died from an accidental overdose from the pain medication after the surgery.”
An accidental overdose? It’s possible, we suppose — anything is.
She says that “He was in so much pain from sciatica that he had problems walking and it was really getting him down.”
Lana also adds that, in the past few years, his sciatica had gotten worse, but he was scared of taking painkillers because he didn’t want to get addicted.
“John told his doctor that the medication changed his moods so he was placed on a low dosage,” she explains, “but I know he was in a lot of pain.”
Another layer to the issue is that John’s son, Max, passed away at the age of 22 back in December — and Lana alleges that Max died from an overdose.
She claims that John “had struggled to come to terms with the death of his son Max from an overdose,” and that he also “hated being riddled with pain as he wanted to be active.”
“I spoke with him on Tuesday before the surgery,” she continues, “and he was in positive spirits but he did not want anyone to help him — I feel so bad because I think I could have done more.”
“He was a kind guy and we have known each other for many years. I’m worried that he lay in the hotel room dead for a few days, that is very sad.”
It really, really is.
“I am going to miss John,” Lana concludes. “He always took time for his fans and he was at heart a good person and a really talented actor too, he was liked by a lot of people.”
Whatever caused his death, it really does seem like his work touched a lot of people.

John Heard Dies; Home Alone Actor Was 72
Sad news for Hollywood today.
John Heard has passed away. The actor was 72 years old.
He was found in a hotel room in Palo Alto, California, by a maid. The hotel called 911 to report a medical emergency, but he was pronounced dead when officials arrived on the scene.
At this point, there’s been no official cause of death listed, and a coroner is investigating the matter.
However, police don’t believe there was any foul play.
Interestingly, John’s rep informed TMZ that he’d just had “minor back surgery” on Wednesday.
That’s why he was staying at the hotel in the first place — it’s common for people with the means to do so to stay in a hotel while recovering from surgery.
Could he have had some unknown complication from the surgery?
It’s very possible, but of course we’ll have to wait until the coroner’s report is released to learn exactly what happened.
John’s list of acting credits is ridiculously long — no doubt you recognize him, even if his name wasn’t immediately familiar.
For many people, he’s most recognizable for his role of Peter McCallister — the dad in the Home Alone movies.
You remember, he played the man who somehow managed to leave his young son, Kevin, at home for Christmas while the rest of the family set off for a lovely vacation.
And then, in Home Alone 2, he played the man who, even after that first traumatic experience, somehow managed to miss the same son taking the wrong flight for the next year’s family vacation.
But while that was definitely an iconic role of his, he’s been working steadily as an actor since the early 1970s.
He got his start on Broadway, where he acted in original plays, and he even had a short run in Hamlet, where he played Guildenstern.
His first film role was in a TV movie called Valley Forge that aired in 1975, and his Hollywood career took off from there.
He’s had roles in movies like Big, The Pelican Brief, and Beaches, just to give a small example of the kind of work he’s done.
He’s also no stranger to television: he’s worked on several shows, including a well-received stint on The Sopranos.
At the moment, there aren’t many public condolences from his co-stars — possibly because there are entirely too many co-stars for the media to track down.
But Robert Patrick, an actor who starred with John in a movie called Last Rampage, paid touching tribute to him on his Instagram.
“I am shocked and saddened to awake to the news that John Heard passed away last night,” he wrote.
“Such a gifted actor! I am so grateful I had the opportunity to watch, work, and spend time with him. This is tragic news.”
Our condolences to John’s friends and family.
This really does seem like a hard loss.

Johnny Depp: Caught Lying to Police About Amber Heard Abuse?
Johnny Depp isn’t having the greatest 2017.
Now, everything is relative, and Depp still owns a private island, so it could be a lot worse, but it seems as though the actor’s personal life and financial future are unraveling at the same that his box office popularity has hit the skids.
These days, Depp is broke by Hollywood standards, having squandered the truly astonishing amount of cash he raked in from the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise and a number of other successful films.
The revelations about Depp’s wild spending have mostly come from an increasingly contentious lawsuit against his former management group, TMG, who’s defending itself against claims of mishandling Johnny’s funds.
The stories of Depp’s lavish spending (Dude doesn’t even deny spending $ 30,000 a month on wine.) are mostly good for a laugh, but there’s darker stuff coming out of the court documents filed by TMG, as well.
As you’ve likely heard, Depp was accused of physically assaulting Amber Heard during the former couple’s messy, high-profile divorce.
(Yes, Johnny has spent a LOT of time in court recently.)
The folks at TMG claim they were kept abreast of just about everything that went on in Depp’s personal life, and not only are they claiming that Heard’s allegations are legit, they’re also dropping some new bombshells their clients handling of the situation.
Court documents filed this week, Depp’s management team “was informed well after the fact through communications with various house staff and security that Depp had been extremely volatile and sometimes ‘gotten physical’ with Heard.
“Mandel was also later informed that Depp had violently kicked Heard during an incident that took place in or around 2014.”
The documents also seem to confirm the authenticity of text messages Heard sent to a friend in which she describes the abuse she endured from Depp:
“Depp and his long-time assistant publicly denied the messages and outrageously accused Heard of manufacturing them,” reads one filing.
“TMG is informed and believes that Depp knew full well that the text messages were genuine, but pressured and berated his assistant to falsely challenge the texts publicly.”
In some of the most damning papers so far, TMG claims that Depp lied to unspecified “authorities” regarding an investigation involving his family:
The docements claim that while he was being “interviewed by public authorities relating to a serious and troubling issue involving his family … [Depp] knowingly lied to public authorties in several respects in connection with these matters” and his actions “marked lack of concern for certain serious family issues.”
When a TMG employee approached Depp about “certain cash expenditures that were related to a serious family matter,” the manager was told by Depp to “mind his own f–king business.”
We’re beginning to think Depp’s current public image woes go a lot deeper than his choice of film projects.

Johnny Depp to Amber Heard: I Forbid You to Do Sex Scenes!
Johnny Depp isn’t exactly killing it these days.
Sure, he’s still got the private island in the Bahamas and he probably woke up this afternoon with two spindly models in his bed, but as he stumbles into his mid-50s, the Tim Burton Frankenstein lab creation is definitely learning to take the good with the bad.
These days, most of the cringeworthy Depp gossip comes not from anonymous sources on social media, but from far more reliable court documents.
You see, when Depp’s not out drumming up press for Pirates of the Caribbean 5, which critics are describing as an experience akin to an emergency colonoscopy with talking parrots and sh-t, he’s in court.
Most of the recent tabloid headlines have had to do with Depp’s legal wrangling with his management group, TMG.
Both parties are suing one another in an increasingly ridiculous court battle that’s brought to light a number of spending habits that shed a lot of light on Johnny’s recent years.
(The $ 30,000 a month on wine, wasn’t exactly shocking, but it’s still pretty amusing.)
Of course, before this latest round of courtroom drama, Johnny’s divorce from Amber Heard served as a constant source of bizarre and sometimes troubling revelations.
Heard’s attorneys painted a picture of Depp as something a besotted monster – abusive, controlling, almost pathologically possessive.
Divorce lawyers aren’t the most upstanding lot, and we may never know for sure how many of those claims were accurate, but it’s interesting that the latest Depp-disparaging legal docs come not from Heard, her attorneys, or even someone who’s on Amber’s side.
They come from a man named Chris Hanley, a producer on the film London Fields, in which Heard has a leading role.
The movie has yet to see the light of day, and Hanley claims that’s due in large part to Heard – and her tumultuous marriage to Depp which caused near-constant production problems.
The main issue, Hanley claims, is that Depp jealously demanded that Heard pulled support for provocative scenes depicing her likeness, even when said scenes were shot with a body-double.
In documents obtained by The Hollywood Reporter, Hanley blasts both Heard and Depp, claiming that Johnny was a nuisance and Heard brought her personal drama to the set on a regular basis.
“Amber Heard should be ashamed,” reads a preliminary statement from Hanley’s lawyers.
The statement does on to reveal that Depp was so upset about Heard’s role in the film, that it may have been a contributing factor to their divorce:
“Heard has made numerous fantastical accusations against Depp, and reports of her alleged affair with co-star Billy Bob Thornton became so pervasive that Thornton issued a public denial,” Hanley’s lawyers claim.
“Indeed, while generally concealed from Plaintiff at the time, Plaintiff is now informed and believes that the provocative nature of Heard’s femme fatale role in the film was a factor leading to her divorce from Depp.”
Hanley’s lawyers go on to claim that Depp forced Heard to reverse course on risque scenes to which she had already agreed:
“He told the Hanleys that her ex-husband Johnny Depp (who had no cutting rights) would not approve of certain scenes or of her overall provocative performance, Heard herself approved of those scenes on several occasions,” states the document.
“Heard later reversed course, apparently under perceived or actual pressure from Depp (who, according to Heard, was extremely jealous).”
Like we said, not a great PR year for Johnny.
He may be beyond Disney salvation at this point.

Amber Heard & Elon Musk: Officially Dating!
It’s only been six months since Amber Heard and Johnny Depp finalized their divorce, but Amber has wasted no time in leaving her painful past behind her and moving on with someone new.
Nothing helps you get over an old love like a new love, and that’s true times several billion when your rebound dude is none other than Elon Musk.
Musk, as you’re probably aware, is the tech genius and entrepreneur behind Tesla and Space-X.
His net worth is estimated at about $ 14 billion.
Between being ludicrously wealthy and having access to all of the coolest toys on the planet, we imagine he knows how to show a girl a good time.
Musk reportedly took an interest in Heard several years ago while she was still married to Depp, but either he never made a move or she rebuffed his advances for obvious reasons.
Whatever the case, Musk reportedly served as a shoulder to cry on in the months following her divorce, and as is so often the case with this sort of scenario, one thing quickly led to another …
Heard and Musk traveled to Australia together last week, and yesterday, she made their relationship “Instagram official” with the pic above.
Rumors about Heard and Musk dating have been circulating since January, but the couple repeatedly insisted that they were “just friends.”
Maybe that was really the case, and they only got romantically involved in recent weeks.
But we have our doubts.
Amber and Elon are both famous, and they’ve both endured brutal, highly-publicized divorces.
We doubt they would go public with their relationship unless enough time had passed for them to both know they’re in it for the long haul.
There are concerns amongst Amber’s fans that she’s repeating the sort of tendencies that led her into a destructive relationship with Depp.
Like, Johnny, Elon is older, fabulously wealthy, and known for having a short temper.
The 45-year-old has also been divorced three times – despite only having married two women.
(Musk and Talulah Riley divorced, remarried, then quickly divorced again.)
Here’s hoping Amber is adept at recognizing red flags and knows when she’s getting herself into.
