Khloe Kardashian & Lamar Odom Make Nice Over Rasual Butler Death
Recently, things between Khloe Kardashian and her ex, Lamar Odom, haven’t exactly been ideal. To the point where Lamar threw shade at Khloe that was so unkind that he got slammed by Kim.
But then, an unthinkable tragedy struck them both.
Sometimes, shared grief brings people together to make peace. It’s important to remember what really matters.
Not everyone gets along with their exes. For Khloe and Lamar, things are … more complicated.
Though their divorce was already well underway, when Lamar had his health crisis a few years ago, Khloe dropped everything to be by his side.
That included stalling their divorce process so that Khloe could continue to make decisions for Lamar until he was able to speak for himself.
(Most wives wouldn’t exactly slow down a divorce after their husband visits a brothel, but these were … special circumstances)
Fastforward to 2018, however, and though Lamar himself made a profound recovery, his relationship with Khloe has soured significantly.
As we all know, Khloe Kardashian is pregnant with Tristan Thompson’s baby.
Lamar was asked about it, and though he started off politely enough, he decided to make what sounded like an underhanded jab at his ex.
“I’m happy for her,” he said at the time.
“She took good care of me. She’ll be a good mother, for real. She’s a great woman.”
However, after acknowledging that he still has Khloe’s initials tattooed on his body (from when they got married), he goes out of his way to clarify that he’s not pining after her. He just hasn’t gotten around to getting the tattoo removed.
“I understand when it’s over, it’s over. When she was with her second or third NBA ball player, I could see that.”
Naturally, that bit of unpleasantness was what got Kim Kardashian to threaten to ruin Lamar Odom if he comes after Khloe again.
On Wednesday morning, Rasual Butler and his wife, Leah LaBelle, died in a one-car wreck in Studio City.
Rasual was a former NBA player.
Leah was a contestant on American Idol in 2004.
It appears that the car, a Range Rover, somehow spun out of control, resulting in the deadly crash.
Many friends of the pair are in mourning over this devastating loss.
RadarOnline reports that they have learned that Khloe and Lamar buried the hatchet while both mourning the loss of their friend.
Rasual had actually appeared on Khloe & Lamar back in the day, when he was dating Malika Haqq.
A source close to Lamar reported that: “Lamar is crushed about Rasual’s death, and it was shocking for Khloe, too.”
And the tragic situation caused the exes to contact each other.
“Khloe and Lamar talked after they heard about Rasual’s death. “
And the source sheds a little insight over how the two of them are feeling.
“She told him that she was so sad about the accident. And he is numb.”
Different people respond to sudden horrible news in different ways.
Let’s be clear — this story in no way suggests that Khloe and Lamar are rekindling romantic feelings for each other.
But it’s good and healthy for exes like these two to be able to communicate in an honest way. This sadness strikes at them both.

Kim Kardashian SLAMS Lamar Odom: Go Buy a Hooker!
Earlier this week, Kim Kardashian welcomed her third child, but it seems she’s not letting the challenges of caring for an infant interfere with her ability to defend her beloved sisters with top-notch trash talk.
As we reported earlier today, Lamar Odom gave a very candid interview to BET this week, and not surprisingly, the subject of Khloe Kardashian came up.
It was Lamar’s first interview since the world learned that Khloe is pregnant with her first child, and while Lamar offered words of support, he also slipped in some not-so-subtle jabs.
“I understand when it’s over, it’s over. When she was with her second or third NBA ball player, I could see that,” Lamar replied when asked about his breakup with Khloe.
Kim–presumably sleep deprived and obviously pissed-off–decided she was having none of Lamar’s pettiness and she quote-tweeted the article along with a mic drop-worthy diss:
“Or second or third brothel” Kim wrote in reference to Lamar’s love of prostitutes.
(Pro tip: When someone loves hookers, you can pretty much always use that against them.)
Now, Kim is being applauded for the savagery of her burn–and rightfully so–but we’re gonna have to be the nit-picking party-poopers for a moment and point out that it doesn’t totally make sense.
The tweet makes it sound as though Khloe was on her second or third brothel, when clearly she meant to say Lamar was the brothel aficionado.
We think.
Hey, maybe she’s throwing heavy shade at Khloe, and this story’s even better than we thought!
We kid.
Most people are obnoxious perfectionists like us, so predictably, Twitter immediately exploded with praise for Kim.
Kim was praised as the “Clapback Queen,” many fans made it weird by calling her Mom (a practice we had hoped would be left in 2017), and GIFs of Kim looking like she’d just ordered the beheading of a peasant were plentiful.
Even Kim’s friend Chrissy Teigen offered praise, tweeting:
“GAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH EM,” before clarifying, “Gaht*. Gaht too excited.”
Lamar has yet to respond to the tweet, which isn’t all that surprising.
After all, we assume he’s currently being treated a nearby burn unit.

Lamar Odom: Throwing Shade at Khloe Kardashian Over Pregnancy News?!
OK, so it’s been nearly four months now since we first learned that Khloe Kardashian is pregnant with her first child.
Or one month, if you just want to go from her confirmation of the big news.
Either way, that’s a pretty decent about of time for Lamar Odom to hear about the news and to come to terms with it.
Or at least to come to terms with it enough to be able to give a statement on the subject without coming across as a little bit shady, right?
Wrong!
Lamar makes an appearance in an upcoming episode of Mancave, a talk shot on BET, and he was asked about Khloe’s pregnancy.
“I’m happy for her,” he said. “She took care of me. She’ll be a good mother, for real. She’s a great woman.”
And that part is sweet, right?
It’s also very, very true.
We all remember how, back in 2015, Lamar suffered an overdose that very nearly killed him, and how Khloe stayed by his side, even though they were going through a divorce.
She even called off the divorce so that she’d be able to help make medical decisions for him when he was unable to do so himself.
We heard about how she rarely left his side while he was in the hospital — if she ever did at all — and how she was so intent to stay with him that she didn’t even shower when things were touch and go there for a while.
She said then that she stayed with him because while their marriage obviously didn’t work out, she still had love for him, and she couldn’t just abandon him in such a time.
So she did take care of him, in a very real way.
But this next thing that Lamar said in the interview?
Well, it wasn’t quite so sweet …
“I still got my shawty’s name still on me, her initials still on me,” he said, referring to the matching tattoos he and Khloe got on their hands when they were married.
“But for no reason,” he clarified.
He said that “I understand when it’s over, it’s over. When she was with her second or third NBA ball player, I could see that.”
Damn, Lamar, don’t hold back!
We get that he’s probably just joking around, or trying to make light of a difficult situation, and of course the Kardashians have always appreciated professional athletes for boyfriends.
But this just seems a little too catty, you know?
It’s not like Khloe ran through NBA players after filing for divorce — which she did, by the way, at least in part because Lamar publicly cheated on her.
The only serious relationships she had between Lamar and Tristan Thompson were with French Montana, a rapper, and James Harden.
She was rumored to be dating Rick Fox for a little while in there, too, so Tristan would make her third NBA player after Lamar.
But regardless of the types of men she decides to date, it’s obvious that she’s very happy right now, way happier than she was during much of her marriage to Lamar here.
And really, that’s what counts.

Khloe Kardashian: I"m Happier Than I"ve Ever Been -- Sorry, Lamar!
If you’ve seen or heard anything from Khloe Kardashian lately, you’ve probably noticed one thing …
Well, a couple of things. There’s no denying that baby bump these days!
But besides the pregnancy — though we’re sure the pregnancy is a big part of it — she’s really just seemed so happy and peaceful, hasn’t she?
Like after so many ups and downs, she’s finally settled in a place where she wants to be in life.
It’s so nice to see.
And if you weren’t near tears over the beautiful turnaround of Khloe Kardashian’s life already, well, let her break it all down for you in this lengthy but super touching Instagram post she made today!
For her photo, she shared an older photo of herself along with a much more recent one — her “revenge body”:
In the caption, she wrote “Sometimes it’s hard for me to post these transformation posts only because I can’t imagine my life being this unhealthy again.”
To clarify, she added that “Never would I ever consider myself fat, but I would consider myself unhealthy mentally/physically and not knowing my true value. Mind, body and soul.”
Aww, KoKo.
“For me,” she wrote, “my transformation started from within. I needed to heal myself from the inside out.”
“Once I started putting myself first, everything started falling into place. My life transformed a few years ago when I made the decision to stop existing and start living.”
A few years ago, of course, is when she split from Lamar Odom and began focusing hard on her fitness.
She’s said many times that she began going to the gym as a way to deal with everything that was going on with Lamar — his downward spiral began while they were still together.
It must have been tough for her to file for divorce and take care of herself when so many people were convinced that they were soulmates, destined to be together forever.
But, as she explained, “I decided when I was ready regardless of what anybody else was saying about me. Regardless of the pressures. I had to do this on my terms or I knew it wouldn’t last.”
“It’s ok to take the control back,” she advised her followers. “Choose your life. Don’t let anybody else decide for you!”
“We are no victims to life but we can become victims and prisoners to the people that we choose to surround ourselves with if we allow them to break us and consume us.”
Anyone else loving this motivational speaker side of Khloe? Because we are kind of living for it.
“Never be afraid to put yourself first!” she preached. “Never choose comfort over your own well-being! Never forget that fate loves the fearless!”
“Today’s wisdom was yesterday’s pain. Tomorrow’s happiness is today’s bravery! I am so proud of myself for being stronger than I’ve ever been — mind body and soul.”
And she should be — we still don’t know all that went on with her marriage to Lamar, but just considering what we do know, it’s amazing that she’s been able to pull herself up like this.
We all saw how deeply she loved him, and we also saw how deeply he betrayed her. She definitely should be proud of her strength.
Khloe also wrote that she’s “even prouder of myself that I’ve been able to maintain a healthy lifestyle for so many years. I broke that cycle and I’m happier than I have ever been!”
“You can do this!! Start from within and nothing can stop you,” she finished. “Elevate yourself — mind body and soul.”
It’s no wonder why so many people refer to her as the best Kardashian, huh?

Lamar Odom: Caught Drinking on New Year"s Eve. Here"s the Sad Proof.

Same Lamar Odom.
This is what fans of the former basketball star and ex-husband of Khloe Kardashian now fear.
TMZ has shared a couple photos of Odom from New Year’s Eve, an occasion which he celebrated in the Dominican Republic.
The images depict Odom hanging out in a local hot spot called Club 59, chilling in a sweater and chatting with a woman who witnesses say he kissed at midnight.
That isn’t the issue, of course.
Odom is certainly allowed to smooch and flirt; he’s a single man likely anxious to mingle.
But the photos also capture Odom with a beer in his hand.

According to TMZ sources, the green bottle Odom has in hand is called Presidente, a Spanish beer featured in breweries around the Dominican Republic.
He was also seen throwing back some tequila shots.
At this point, the star’s substance abuse problem has been well-documented.
It caused him to be suspended by the NBA a few years ago and it’s the main reason his marriage to Khloe fell apart.
In October of 2015, Odom fell unconscious while spending time at a brothel in Nevada, barely clinging to life in a coma for several days.
You would think such an incident would serve as a turning point, but it’s not that easy to overcome one’s addiction to drugs and/or alcohol.
It has appear on multiple instances since then that Lamar recognized his demons and was prepared to get clean and sober… he’s simply been unable to successfully do so.
In early November, for example, Odom collapsed at a night club in Los Angeles.
A spokesperson for the ex-reality star claimed Lamar was simply dehydrated and tired, but almost no one out there bought that excuse.
“Lamar is spiraling again. He’s out of control,” a source subsequently told People Magazine, adding about eight weeks ago:
“He was better this spring, but things got worse over the summer and everyone is worried things are going to get even worse and they’re scared for him.”
Moreover, it’s not hard to understand why Odom might be driven to drink these days.
While he has not spoken out directly on Khloe’s pregnancy, someone close to the situation say Lamar is crushed by the news.
He and Khloe talked openly about having children back during their relationship and it’s easy to see this exciting news not exactly being so exciting for Odom.
It’s easy to see it having the opposite effect, unfortunately.
As always, we wish the very best to Odom, who nearly everyone says is a caring, sensitive, outstanding individual.
He simply has an addiction.
We pray he overcomes it someday.

Khloe Kardashian: Did She Lie About Being Infertile with Lamar Odom?!
By now, you’ve surely heard the good news a billion times over …
Khloe Kardashian is pregnant! For real! She confirmed it herself and everything!
A lot of people were happy to hear about the pregnancy, both because Khloe is typically considered the best Kardashian and because so many of us have been following her fertility struggle for years.
When she was married to Lamar Odom, back in the good ol’ days of Khloe & Lamar, we saw them try to have a baby for a very, very long time.
She went to fertility specialists, and she really seemed to struggle with the fact that she was never able to get pregnant.
That’s a big part of why this pregnancy with Tristan Thompson is such good news, but we also can’t ignore a little piece of information that Khloe shared earlier this year.
In an episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Khloe visited a doctor who told her that she had fewer follicles on her ovaries than most women her age have.
Meaning that if she were to try to get pregnant, she could have a hard time.
She was taken aback by the news, which didn’t really make sense, given how long she and Lamar tried for a baby.
But, as she revealed later, she “fake-tried” to have a baby.
“I was married,” Khloe explained, “but I knew the circumstances weren’t the healthiest, so I just kept pretending I was trying.”
She said that when she was going through with the fertility treatments, “they were more so for Lamar,” but “I had to stop because there was much deeper stuff that was happening in our marriage.”
It “wasn’t the right kind of situation to bring a child into,” she revealed, and knowing what we know now about Lamar, we can definitely understand that.
But she also said “I think I’ve done a lot of covering up for him. Like, even when it made me look like I was the problem. But I was fine taking on that burden on my shoulders because he had a lot of other, deeper sh-t to deal with.”
She wasn’t very clear here, but the general understanding of all this was that she pretended to have problems with her fertility so that she wouldn’t have to discuss with anyone, even Lamar himself, that her marriage wasn’t the healthiest.
And it’s rubbed a lot of people the wrong way.
After the big pregnancy reveal, one person tweeted “After watching how much @khloekardashian struggled a few years back on kuwtk about getting pregnant, I’m so happy for her & I feel like everything does happen for a reason and she’s finally gonna get her baby.”
It was a sweet sentiment, but someone else replied with “Didn’t she lie (and make a mockery of) about fertility issues all bc she didn’t wanna have kids at the time?”
Thanks to that tweet, Khloe is finally clarifying what she meant when she said she “fake-tried” to get pregnant with Lamar.
“I def wasn’t lying,” she tweeted in response. “I did all my treatments but then when we did further testing we realized I was NOT the one with the issue at the time.”
“It takes two to have a baby. But anyways thank you for the love.”
But see, it’s still confusing, because she did say on the show that she was “pretending I was trying.” Her statement now doesn’t really mesh with what she said then.
Of course, we don’t know the full story, and we’ll never know unless Khloe sits down and really details everything that happened back then with Lamar.
Either way, if she lied or if she didn’t lie, if she fibbed or misspoke or whatever, that doesn’t mean that she doesn’t deserve all the well wishes for this precious pregnancy now!

Lamar Odom: CRUSHED, Hurt by Khloe Kardashian"s Pregnancy!
She waited until three months after the news broke, but Khloe Kardashian confirmed her pregnancy … finally. And she even showed off her baby bump.
Khloe is overjoyed. Tristan Thompson is overjoyed.
But Khloe’s ex, Lamar Odom, is having a very different reaction.
Before we talk about Lamar Odom’s response, we need to talk about how Khloe made her big announcement.
Because what Khloe had to say … is very, very relevant.
“My greatest dream realized!” Khloe wrote. “We are having a baby! I had been waiting and wondering but God had a plan all along.”
She writes more about how she finds religious significance behind her pregnancy.
“He knew what He was doing. I simply had to trust in Him and be patient.”
But this is no immaculate conception, and Khloe talks happily about her baby daddy.
“I still at times can’t believe that our love created life! Tristan, thank you for loving me the way that you do!”
Tristan Thompson penned his own tribute to Khloe’s pregnancy, of course.
“Thank you for treating me like a Queen! Thank you for making me feel beautiful at all stages! Tristan, most of all, Thank you for making me a MOMMY!!!”
She’s clearly very excited.
“You have made this experience even more magical than I could have envisioned! I will never forget how wonderful you’ve been to me during this time! Thank you for making me so happy my love!”
Khloe included this photo of her baby bump. Finally!
She also gives a shout-out to fans.
“Thank you to everyone for the love and positive vibes!”
And there’s acknowledgement that we’ve all known about Khloe’s pregnancy since September.
“I know we’ve been keeping this quiet but we wanted to enjoy this between our family and close friends as long as we could privately. To enjoy our first precious moments just us.”
That’s odd for such a public person, but … sure.
“Thank you all for understanding. I am so thankful, excited, nervous, eager, overjoyed and scared all in one! But it’s the best bundle of feelings I’ve ever felt in my life!”
That’s a lot of happiness!
But you know who isn’t feeling the joy?
Lamar Odom.
HollywoodLife reports that Lamar Odom is wounded by Khloe’s wording.
“Lamar is happy for Khloe but that doesn’t mean this doesn’t hurt.”
Famously, Khloe and Lamar tried to get pregnant. Though … Khloe has suggested that she wasn’t trying in earnest, once she saw their relationship deteriorating.
“It’s heartbreaking for him that she’s having a baby with someone else.”
Which means that he still has feelings for her.
“He‘s not over Khloe.”
Yikes.
“Their divorce is still a painful subject for him and one of his biggest regrets is that he wasn’t able to get her pregnant.”
Well, surely he should be happy that he didn’t get her pregnant, or they’d be putting a child through a divorce.
(Unless he believes that a baby would have fixed their relationship. It doesn’t work that way, folks)
“And now that she’s having someone else’s baby it’s a big reminder of how he failed.”
Failed in their relationship.
But also, in his mind, failed as a man.
You know how it’s been suggested that Lamar Odom is sterile?
Since Khloe is pregnant, apparently that rumor is picking up steam. And Lamar’s not loving it.
“People are giving him grief over it too, saying this proves all their fertility troubles were his fault; it’s humiliating.”
“And the things she said in her announcement only makes this worse.”
Certain phrases in particular.
“The stuff about how God’s timing was right all along might be true but it’s still a huge slap in the face to Lamar.”
Basically, she was saying that not only was her relationship with Lamar not meant to last, but divinely ordained to end.
“He wishes she could have been more thoughtful about the words she chose.”
You know what?
As happy as Khloe is and as much as what she does with her uterus is absolutely not Lamar Odom’s business, that last bit sounds fair.
It never hurts to be thoughtful.
It can be so easy to get carried away, telling a joke or celebrating something in front of someone for whom it’s a sore subject.
Choose your words carefully for your audience, folks. It’s part of being a nice person.

Lamar Odom is "Out of Control," Source Sadly Alleges
According to a new report, Lamar Odom did not collapse at a nightclub last week simply because he was very tired from working out.
Shocking, we know.
This is what a spokesperson for the former reality and NBA star actually alleged, however, after Odom fell to the floor early Sunday morning at Bootsy Bellows in Los Angeles.
Due to Odom’s history of drug and alcohol abuse, it was questionable why he was even in the establishment.
But Lamar’s rep downplayed the incident shortly afterward, saying Odom is doing “well” and adding by way of explanation:
“He was dehydrated and had been in an intense workout earlier in the day. It was also very hot in the club.”
No one really believed this at the time.
Most celebrity gossip followers figured Odom had, unfortunately, fallen off the wagon once again.
And now a People Magazine report appears to back up this assumption.
“Lamar is spiraling again. He’s out of control,” an insider tells this publication of Odom, adding in further disturbing detail:
“He was better this spring, but things got worse over the summer and everyone is worried things are going to get even worse and they’re scared for him.”
We can’t verify these claims outside of relaying them to our readers, but it wouldn’t come as a shock that this would be a challenging time for Odom.
Ex-wife Khloe Kardashian is pregnant with her first child; she’s expecting a baby in early spring.
Moreover, she’s expecting this baby with Tristan Thompson, who is also a professional basketball player and who also mostly plays power forward.
This is the same position Odom played throughout his career.
So it really is if Khloe has directly replaced her ex-husband with a new and less hurtful version.
Lamar has admitted to cheating on Khloe during their marriage.
He’s also confessed that he was addicted to drugs at various points in their relationship.
The couple split in 2013 after a few turbulent months, although the divorce was not finalized until many years later.
Then, in October of 2015, the troubled star was rushed to the hospital after being found unconscious in a Nevada brothel.
He was only given a 50 percent chance of survival at the time, spending four days in a coma, with Khloe by his side nearly the entire time.
Upon his recovery, Odom completed a 30-day drug rehab program.
Friends and loved ones hoped it would signal a reversal of fortunes for Odom, a turning point in a life full of tragedy (see below).
We still hope that’s the case.
Sadly, though, it seems very unlikely to have been.

The former professional basketball player and husband of Khloe Kardashian collapsed to the group while in a VIP booth at Los Angeles nightclub Bootsy Bellows on Sunday morning.
The scary incident took place around 2 a.m.
TMZ has actually posted a video of Lamar’s fall.
The footage features security guards rushing over to Odom while screaming at others in the establishment to “move!” and “get out of the way!”
You can then see Odom slumped forward on the ground.
The guards get to Lamar and help him up, but he’s very clearly dazed and shaken.
The individual who filmed this episode alleges that Odom had been drinking alcohol for several hours leading up to his collapse.
But a rep for the troubled stars says otherwise.
“Lamar is doing well,” this rep tells E! News, adding:
“He was dehydrated and had been in an intense workout earlier in the day. It was also very hot in the club.”
Odom, sadly, has a long history of drug and alcohol abuse.
It was nearly two years ago exactly when he fell unconscious at a brothel in Las Vegas and came very close to dying.
Lamar was airlifted to a hospital at that time and initial reports claimed he only had a fifty percent chance of survival.
The ex-Lakers, Clippers and Heat forward has since checked into rehab and said he’s turned his life around.
“I’m a walking miracle,” Odom told Us Weekly this past March of the fact he’s even still with us after the brothel collapse and other drug-related incidents.
Referring specifically to the strokes he suffered in Nevada in October of 2015, he explained:
“I was home by myself. Bored. I wanted to get out and have a good time. Looking back, I might have had a drink to get the mood started, but was I drunk or on drugs?
“Not at all. I remember lying in bed. Two women were in bed and then I fell asleep. That’s all.
“When I woke up four days later, I was trying to pull the tubes out of my mouth.”
And Khloe was by his side.
In December of 2016, Odom sought professional help for substance abuse and his divorce from Kardashian was finalized after several years apart.
However, Odom has been spotted at strip clubs and other late-night establishments on a semi-frequent basis over the past few months.
Does this mean he’s fallen off the wagon? Not necessarily.
But still. It has us concerned.
In comments Odom made about Kardashian last month, Lamar simply said he’s still “got love” for his ex-wife and he wishes her well.
We wish the same for Odom.
