Bill Cosby: Criminal Sexual Assault Investigation Launched

After several months mounting of allegations, Bill Cosby is reportedly being investigated for criminal sexual assault.

According to TMZ, the investigation began after a judge in Philadelphia unsealed depositions from a 2004 civil case.

The suit was filed by a woman named Donna Barrett who claims she was groped and harassed by Cosby during a track meet held at the University of Pennsylvania.

“He had his arm on my waist and forcefully pulled me onto his private area saying, ‘Hey, back that thing up here girl, back it on up!"” she wrote in a statement. “I felt his private parts against my backside.”

Barrett says she complained to the event’s organizers, “but no one knew what to do.”

Meanwhile, yet another woman has come forward alleging that she was drugged and raped by Cosby

The latest accuser – who has asked to be identified only as Dottye – says that she went to Cosby’s New York City home to audition for a role on The Cosby Show in 1984.

In a version of events that’s become all too familiar, she claims that Cosby offered her a drugged drink and then raped her while she was unconscious.

Dottye adds that the comedian called her the next day to engage in phone sex, but she refused.

If prosecutors in Philadelphia decide to press charges against Cosby, he might finally be forced to answer for the many allegations against him in criminal court.

Following an unrelated investigation by the LAPD, Cosby may also face charges in Los Angeles as a result of allegations by Chloe Goins – a model who says Cosby drugged and molested her during a party at the Playboy Mansion in 2008.

More than 50 women have now come forward claiming that they were sexually assaulted by Cosby. The alleged incidents take place over the course of the past several decades.
