Last year, Jenelle Evans was accused of abusing Nathan Griffith’s dog after Teen Mom cameras caught Jenelle dragging the animal by his collar and locking him into a crate that was far too small.
This past Fourth of July Jenelle once again angered animal rights groups when she posted a video in which she encouraged the same dog to fetch lit fireworks.
Now, thankfully, Radar Online is reporting that Griffith got the law involved in order to have the dog taken away from Jenelle and returned to his proper home.
“That was Nathan’s dog before he even met Jenelle,” says one insider.
“He brought Mugen back from Ohio but the saddest thing was the dog seemed to get really scared when they got near Myrtle Beach. It was like he remembered being there and hated it.”
Sources say Jenelle only kept Mugen after the breakup as an act of revenge against Griffith. But apparently all it took was a phone call and a threat of filing charges to get Jenelle to surrender the animal.
After all, with how many times Jenelle has been arrested, she can’t risk getting into any more trouble with the law.
Plus, Jenelle is dating David Eason these days, so perhaps she’s done finding petty ways to make her ex regret that they ever met. At least we hope so, for Nathan’s sake.
