Lamar Odom: Signature Forced on Divorce Dismissal?!

Lamar Odom has a highly distinctive signature, and some critics are asking whether it was forged when dismissing his divorce from Khloe Kardashian.

Khloe and Lamar called off their divorce last week, one week after the former NBA player overdosed on cocaine and nearly died in a Nevada brothel.

Having suffered 12 strokes, needing a kidney transplant and facing a decline in motor skills, Odom’s prognosis going forward remains very uncertain.

As such: Is his John Hancock on the divorce papers even legit?

A handwriting analyst reviewed the documents in hopes of concluding whether the baller was responsible for signing his name on the dotted line.

Or, rather, if Kardashian or someone else could have forged it.

One of the main differences between the two signatures is the width of the line formation, but that could be due to a mere difference in writing utensils.

Forensic document and handwriting expert Peggy Walla of LPR Investigations points out that “recovering from a drug induced coma” can explain a lot.

Just because there is noticeable “falling off the signature line,’” she notes, doesn’t mean it was forged. Rather, it can be attributed to many factors.

“It is unknown if the signature was written on a clip board, on his lap, on a hospital bedside table with wheels, etc,” Walla observes.

Meanwhile, “the beginning stroke, proportions, and age of comparison signature [remain] within the range of individual characteristics of the signer.”

Walla’s final analysis: “These are the same writers.”

The Hollywood Gossip dot com’s final analysis:

  1. Don’t do drugs, kids!

  2. Khlomar forever!
