Just kidding. Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are all loved up and whatnot, but insiders claim that they do clash over wardrobe choices.
True, Shelton did wear jeans and a blazer to the Vanity Fair Oscar party last month, but it doesn’t seem to bother Stefani that her main squeeze is a denim sort of dude.
In fact, a source told OK! Magazine that he’d like Stefani to follow his lead.
“In a nutshell, he wants her in denim and she wants him in silks and linens,” the source explained.
Silks and linens?
“It’s all friendly fun and they tease each other relentlessly over their choice of attire when they go out. In fact it’s a long-standing joke among their friends to see how mismatched ‘Mr Chalk and Cheese’ are looking that day.”
I’m not following…anyhoo.
Stefani, the source claims “says it’s the differences that make it special. She never knows what she’s going to get and she loves that about him.”
Shelton is “good for her too – she never had the courage to try more solo music before Blake swept her off her feet.”
Stefani recently spoke to the New York Times about her blossoming relationship with Shelton, and how they connected.
Both “had been going through literally the exact same thing in literally the exact same time frame,” Stefani explained, referring to their divorces from Miranda Lambert and Gavin Rossdale, respectively.
“We had anger, we had sadness, we had flirtation, we had sexy, and now we’re madly in love,” she said.
“Never in my wildest, craziest dreams would I ever have seen this coming.”
