Ayesha Curry Calls Out NBA Finals as "Rigged for Money"

Ayesha Curry has done at least two things right.

She is the mother of a pair of totally adorable children.

But the wife of two-time NBA MVP Steph Curry made a very wrong move on social media on Thursday night, reacting it utter outrage over the result of Game 6 of the NBA Finals.

The Cleveland Cavaliers dominated Curry’s Golden State Warriors, racing out to a 20-point first quarter lead, controlling the entire contest and cruising to a 115-101 victory.

LeBron James scored 41 points and, at one point in the second half, scored or assisted on 35 of his team’s 36 points.

As for Steph Curry?

He shot pretty well. He finished with 30 points.

But he also fouled out for the first time this season, prompting his wife to jump on Twitter soon after her husband got ejected for flinging his mouthpiece in response to his sixth foul.

“I’ve lost all respect sorry this is absolutely rigged for money,” she wrote. “Or ratings in (sic) not sure which. I won’t be silent. Just saw it live sry.”

Ayesha Curry, always one to speak her mind, later deleted the message.

She tried to walk it back by Tweeting “tweeted in the heat of the moment because the call was uncalled for” and even added:

“Police racial profiled my father and told him to remove credentials and tried to arrest him. It’s been a long night for me. I apologize:

“I’m okay that we lost… I just can’t take people coming at my family for absolutely no reason. Something I don’t understand or stand for.”

Wow. Well… okay then.

We can’t speak on the racial profiling or anything going on with Ayesha’s family.

But we can say that two things stood out from Game 6 of the Finals:

1. LeBron’s total domination. The way he is playing, it’s not hard to see him going into Oracle Arena on Sunday night and leading his squad to the title.

2. Curry’s total stupidity. He committed reckless fouls, reaching in on numerous occasions and taking himself out of the game early on after picking up a pair in the opening few minutes.

There’s no conspiracy here, Ayesha. Nothing is rigged.

There’s simply LeBron getting into the head of your husband the Warriors needing to regroup quickly, left they go from a historically successful regular season to a historic collapse in the Finals.
