American Airlines Employee Hits Woman, Threatens Man Who Defends Her: Watch
Seriously, what is it with airlines and their employees losing their damn minds on flights lately?
Earlier this month, we heard the sad, bizarre story of a United Airlines flight that had gotten overbooked: five passengers were selected at random to leave the plane, and when one man refused, he was brutally beaten.
A few days after that, we heard about a bride and groom who were allegedly removed from a flight to their honeymoon destination.
Even Jenelle Evans jumped on the new trend, claiming that an American Airlines employee assaulted her in an airport.
But right now, American Airlines is under fire again — and there"s a pretty damning video to go along with the allegations.
On a flight yesterday, a mother was boarding a plane with her twin babies and a stroller. A passenger on the flight explains that a flight attendant "violently" took the stroller from her, hitting her and "just missing the baby."
After that, several passengers began taking video — you can see the aftermath of the incident below.
The mother in question stands at the front of the plane, sobbing, and you can hear a man say that he"s "not going to sit here and watch this."
He makes his way to the front as well, and asks for the flight attendant"s name. It"s a little hard to hear what"s being said, as the woman is crying so loudly.
Which, fair — it must be hard enough to fly with two babies, and some guy has to hit her with a stroller?
The flight attendant who did the deed returns to the plane to talk to the pilot, and the man who"d been asking for his name confronts him.
"Hey bud," he tells him. "You do that to me and I"ll knock you flat."
The attendant first tells him to stay out of it, but then he charges towards him, saying "try it, hit me, hit me," over and over.
The pilot and another employee diffuse the situation, and as they"re leading the flight attendant away again, he tells the man "you don"t know the whole story," which doesn"t exactly make a ton of sense.
The man, rightfully so, says "I don"t need to know the whole story, you almost hurt a baby."
American Airlines has already released a statement about the incident, and they say that they"ve started an investigation.
The flight attendant has been removed from duty for the time being, and the woman and her family were upgraded to first class for the rest of their trip.

Cracker Barrel Fires Employee of 11 Years, The Internet EXPLODES
If you spend any amount of time at all on the internet, then you"ve probably heard the tragic tale of Brad"s wife by now.
And if you haven"t … well, sit back, grab some tissues, and prepare for this emotional roller coaster.
Brad is a man, much like any man, who is married to a hard-working woman named Nanette, and Nanette dedicated 11 years of her life to working at Cracker Barrel.
But those 11 years didn"t matter at that much to the popular home-cookin" restaurant, because they recently fired Brad"s wife. And they didn"t even tell her why.
Brad is trying to get answers, but Cracker Barrel won"t respond to him. And so thousands of kind strangers on the internet took it upon themselves to push for the truth.
And that"s why, if you look at any one of Cracker Barrel"s social media pages, literally all you will hear about is Brad"s wife.

Air New Zealand Suspends Employee for Lewd Social Media Pics
Come fly the friendly skies?
Not so fast, claim a few rogue Air New Zealand employees.
The company has been forced to respond to a handful of lewd images that were posted last year by a select number of pilots and flight attendants, but have only first gone viral now.
They include a blow-up doll in the cockpit and video of a stewardess saying she wishes she could spit all over some customers.
In response to these photos, which we’ve sprinkled throughout this article, Air New Zealand executives say they are “shocked and appalled.”
An employment attorney says the images could bring the airline into “disrepute”, and could amount to serious misconduct.
“We expect the highest standards of behavior and respect from all our staff,” an Air New Zealand spokeswoman says, adding that an internal investigation is underway.
It’s unclear what took the airline so long to pounce on this story.
The same spokeswoman says the Snapchat video (from which we’ve screen-capped a photo) was shared four years ago, while the blow-up doll pics (hehe) are about a year old.
“One of the staff members concerned no longer works for Air New Zealand and the other two have been removed from duties pending the outcome of our investigation,” the woman said in a statement, adding:
“It goes without saying that this is a situation we are treating with extreme seriousness – and our obvious concern is that the behavior displayed is a clear breach of not just our code of conduct but basic decency.”
Air New Zealand is a carrier often praised for its passenger-friendly service and amenities.
And who’s to say that some passengers wouldn’t like the idea of a blow-up doll sitting in the cockpit?
Still, you can understand why the airline would not be receptive to these messages and pictures.
The aforementioned attorney also says these sorts of social media posts could be ground for dismissal.
“Particularly in a situation where they are in full uniform, it would be difficult to argue that they would not bring the company into disrepute by virtue of those photographs,” he says.
Context would matter, employment lawyer Fraser Wood states, making us wonder what context there could be for these sex doll images
Perhaps they were being used as auto pilots, like in the movie Airplane?
At the end of the day, Wood had a simple message to pass along to those who wish to keep their jobs:
“Don’t post anything you don’t want your parents or employers to see,” he warns.
