Prince Michael Jackson Rushed to Hospital Following Motorcycle Accident

Prince Michael Jackson, the 20-year-old son of late music legend Michael Jackson, has been rushed to a Los Angeles hospital following a motorcycle accident, TMZ reports.

Currently, there’s no word on what caused the accident or who called the ambulance that hurried Prince to Cedars-Sinai.

Fortunately, Michael’s oldest son was tremendously lucky and suffered no major injuries in the crash.

In fact, he was in such sound condition that he was able to head straight to his next class at Loyola Marymount University after leaving the hospital.

Prince even joked about the crash on social media while he was still in the ambulance.

He posted the below photo of himself on a gurney, with a caption reading: 

“Well sh-t…”

No word yet on if and when Prince intends to get back on the bike.

Fortunately, these days things appear to be pretty stable in the Jackson family for the first time … ever?

After several years of bouncing around between caretakers, 15-year-old Blanket Jackson has a new guardian in uncle T.J. Jackson.

Meanwhile, Paris Jackson is still promoting body positivity and generally being a good role model for her young fan base.

All in all, it looks as though these kids are finally enjoying some firm footing after incredibly tumultuous childhoods.

Last we checked in on Prince, he was spearheading an initiative to find housing for you people who have aged out of foster care and at risk of becoming homeless.

“We have partnered with a charity called ‘A Sense of Home,’ which supports foster kids who have aged out of the system in a sort of preempt against homelessness because it’s very hard to get on your feet once you’ve gotten out of the system,” Prince told Robin Roberts in a rare TV interview earlier this year.

“As we were growing up my dad always said, ‘I really don’t care what you do in life, as long as you’re happy doing it and you’re the best at what you do. If you want to be a janitor at a high school, you should be the best janitor that you can be,"” he added.

Sounds like the kid’s got a good head on his shoulders.

He just might want to give the bike a break for a while.

Ami Brown Headed Back to the Hospital, Unfortunately

Even though the Brown family is living large in a Beverly Hills mansion that’s strikingly at odds with their survivalist image, scenery and comfort can only do so much for family matriarch Ami Brown.

Because the Alaskan Bush People star is fighting an uphill battle against Stage Four lung cancer.

She’s been recovering from chemotherapy, which takes its toll. But it appears that she’s already bracing for another round of treatment.

It feels like Ami Brown only just left the hospital, and we have to imagine that it feels that way to Ami, too.

After all, chemotherapy may be a vital life-saving treatment for those with cancer and other serious and life-threatening illnesses …

… But chemo absolutely ravages the body and leaves patients exhausted, physically and mentally.

Chemotherapy works because it is toxic; it can damage cancer and kill off cancer cells because it is a carefully calibrated poison.

It can save lives and if there’s any chance of it prolonging someone’s life, we’d advise them to take it.

But it’s important for us to all remember and acknowledge how brutal the fight for survival can be.

And it looks like Ami Brown is going once more unto the breach.

The Alaskan Bush People non-fan page, Alaskan Bush People Exposed, has been a great and fairly reliable source of information on the Brown family and what doesn’t make it onto the screen.

In recent weeks, with the series in production limbo — deliberately on hiatus to give Ami Brown a chance to rest and undergo treatments — they’ve provided insight into the family while the cameras aren’t rolling.

And they report that Ami Brown is scheduled to return to the hospital.

“It looks like Ami is going to do a second round of chemo soon.”

That is going to be rough. And not just for her.

The thing that we need to keep in mind when discussing Ami Brown’s battle with cancer is that she’s not the only one going through this.

No, cancer isn’t contagious, but the whole family is in this fight with her.

While there are pockets of good news, like Noah Brown and Rhain being officially engaged, we think that it’s safe to say that the whole Brown family is on the edge of their collective seats.

Contrary to what the trolls who harass Ami’s youngest daughter think, a loved one’s cancer doesn’t occupy one’s every waking thought. You’re allowed to smile and take selfies.

(Seriously, we don’t understand those beasts who harass a young teenage girl, especially when that girl’s mother is in the state that Ami Brown is)

But it absolutely takes its toll. A loved ones cancer battle puts a strain on the entire family, to the point where Rain Brown revealing her battle with depression is truly no surprise.

(Not that her depression comes from only this, of course — depression is complicated but can easily be exacerbated by a grim situation like this one)

And each member of the Brown family is of course going to deal with this situation in their own way.

Of course they all love and support their mother as she fights this battle, because none of them can fight it for her.

Some are going to stay by her side.

Others are going to live their lives, because that’s what she of course wants for them and because they know that there’s sadly nothing that they can personally do.

The idea that Noah Brown is abandoning his family by not being there? To the best of our knowledge, he doesn’t have magical healing powers that could save his mom.

The best thing for Ami Brown is medical care and support — and comfort in the knowledge that her family will go on, one way or the other.

Ami Brown: Out of the Hospital, Still in Grave Condition

We have some relatively good news, Alaskan Bush People fans:

Ami Brown is out of the hospital.

The matriarch of the family at the center of this Discovery Channel reality show, Brown was diagnosed several months ago with lung cancer.

And it’s very serious.

The disease has reached Stage 4 and the prognosis is grim. That’s the bad news here:

Even with Brown out of the hospital and free from doctor supervision for a bit, the Facebook page “Alaskan Bush People Exposed” writes that the star remains weak and frail.

“Ami update: She is not in the hospital, however chemotherapy / radiation has taken its toll on her, and she is not well enough to start filming yet,” the account wrote on Monday, adding:

“Filming has been delayed. They are still in CA except for Noah and Rhain/Ruth. They were spotted in Idaho of all places!”

In order to find Ami the best medical care possible, her husband and most of her children relocated from their famous remote enclave in Alaska to southern California, at least for a few weeks.

There’s been talk that Alaskan Bush People Season 8 will find the Browns in Colorado, but nothing has been confirmed just yet.

Not even whether or not there even will be an Alaskan Bush People Season 8.

A lot will depend on Ami, of course, who is tragically not expected to live for very much longer.

An earlier report, for example, claimed Brown was on her death bed.

But she’s still here. That has to mean something. And we’re like to remain as hopeful as Ami herself has been throughout this ordeal.

“Worrying about it only makes it worse,” Ami told People Magazine this summer of her condition, adding at the time:

“There is hope and that hope is having faith in God. You can’t give up. I tell people be happy. Just be happy. It’s a choice.

“Things can be hard and you just want to curl up but you have to shine.”

What an admirable attitude, right?

It’s one her family members are trying to emulate, but it’s difficult under these circumstances.

“She’s the strongest person I know, so if she’s saying it hurts, it really hurts,” Billy Brown also told People several weeks back.

He continued in his interview as follows:

“She tries to hide it from everybody but four or five times a day she bends over like a baby and cries.”

We really can’t imagine what this family is going through.

Forget Season 8 of their show and forget what the future may or may not hold for them in front of the camera.

We’re simply sending our thoughts and prayers to Ami as she does battle with this awful illness. We wish her nothing but the best.

Kate Gosselin-Jon Gosselin Fight Sent Daughter to Hospital: New Details

We have new, UGLY details on the verbal altercation that took place on August 15 between Jon and Kate Gosselin.

As previously reported, the ex-spouses argued so loudly and so forcefully last week that police were called to the scene of their dispute.

No arrests were made, but the heated discussion reportedly centered on who would drive their daughter home from the orthodontist.

Yes, something seemingly that simple resulted in an endless shouting match.

According to In Touch Weekly, the daughter stuck in the middle of this disagreement was 13-year old Hannah.

The young teenager was sitting in her father’s car in a parking lot off a Pennsylvania highway when her mother insisted on taking her home.

The tabloid cites sources and witnesses who say Hannah “screamed, sobbed, and violently resisted” while Kate Gosselin grabbed a hold of her arm and tried to force her out of the vehicle.

“No! Stop, please stop! Let go of me, Mommy!” Hannah allegedly yelled at one point.

As this was taking place, Jon was actively encouraging his child to resist her mom.

“Hold on. Hold on. If you don’t want to go, don’t go,” the magazine claims Jon said to Hannah. “I can’t help you. Hold on. Hold on.”

(It’s perhaps worth noting at this juncture how effed up these details are, if true.

First, of course, that Kate would manhandle her daughter… but also that Jon would egg the incident on, not try to play peacemaker for the sake of his kid.)

The showdown lasted three hours, an insider says, adding that Hannah said her arm was injured in the back-and-forth and an ambulance was therefore called to the scene.

Then, at the hospital, “Kate told the police she thought Jon was a danger and Hannah needed to be protected,” the tabloid writes, adding:

“So the police removed Jon while Hannah was being treated.”

We should emphasize that we cannot corroborate this account.

We are simply relaying the In Touch report.

On August 11, the Gosselins attended an emergency hearing with a judge after Hannah “refused to go back to Kate’s house,” a source tells the publication, explaining:

“The judge granted Jon equal custody of Hannah until he and Kate go to trial.”

Jon and Kate, of course, rose to fame as co-stars on a TLC series that documented their lives as parents of eight kids.

They split in 2007 after a decade of marriage.

Since then, it’s become clear that major tension still exists between the former husband and wife, the latter of whom remains a reality TV personality.

Jon Gosselin, meanwhile, is mostly just a private citizen, staying out of the spotlight and trying to earn some money.

As of June of last year, Jon said his custody agreement allows him to see only four of their children at once, during weekly dinners and overnights every other weekend.

His lawyer tells E! News that Jon is now hoping to change the terms.

“The ability to co-parent is desirous in all custody matters, unfortunately in this case, it remains a theory, not a reality,” says the attorney.

She cites a “Gag Order” to explain why she cannot reveal much else, but does add of her client and Kate Gosselin:

“It should be known Jon has been aggressively and relentlessly fighting for his kids.

“Jon is frustrated by recent events but will not be derailed in his efforts to do what is right.”
