Steve Stephens, Alleged Facebook Live Killer, on Run from Police
A manhunt is underway for Steve Stephens after the 37-year old appeared to commit a murder on Facebook Live Sunday afternoon, prior to getting into his car and confessing to many other killings.
Police have warned residents in Pennsylvania, New York, Indiana and Michigan to be on high alert as they search for the suspect.
On Easter Sunday, around 2 p.m., a video went viral on social media that depicts Stephens stepping out of his vehicle and approaching an elderly man.
“Imma kill this guy right here – this old dude,” Stephens says into the camera, addressing a 74-year old later identified as Robert Godwin Sr. and telling him:
“Hi, can you do me a favor? Can you say ‘Joy Lane?"”
Godwin does as he’s told and Stephens replies:
Yeah, she’s the reason all this is about to happen to you.
Stephens then pulls the trigger and drives away in his car.
Shortly after this horrible incident was made public, Lane texted a CBS affiliate and wrote of Stephens:
“We had been in a relationship for several years. I am sorry that all of this has happened. My heart and prayers goes out to the family members of the victim.
“Steve really is a nice guy… he is generous with everyone he knows. He was kind and loving to me and my children.
“This is a very difficult time for me and my family Please respect our privacy at this time.”

Following the online emergence of the first video, a second piece of footage has been making the rounds.
It features Stephens talking on the phone to someone and claiming he has killed 13 people.
“I just snapped… that’s what I did, I just killed 13 people. I’m going to keep killing until they catch me,” he says.
He ends the phone call and apologizes to the camera, saying he’s working on killing a 14th person “as we speak.”
Cleveland Police have released an aggravated murder warrant for Stephens and urged anyone who sees him or his car to get in touch as soon as they can.
Says a spokesman for the department:
No additional victims have been located and officers continue to search multiple areas.
Suspect did broadcast the killing on Facebook Live and has claimed to have committed multiple other homicides which are still not verified. Suspect in this case is a bm Steve Stephens 6’1 244 bald with a full beard. Wearing dark blue and grey or black striped polo shirt. Driving a white Ford Fusion with a temp tag.
Armed and dangerous. If seen call 9-1-1. Do not approach.
In a series of Facebook posts from a now-deleted account authorities believe to have belonged to Stephens, the suspected murder called the killing his “Easter day slaughter,” according to NBC.
He complained that he had “lost everything” from gambling.
We will not post Stephens’ videos, out of respect for Godwin and any other victims.
Robert Godwin Jr. told The Plain Dealer that his father had nine children and 14 grandchildren, adding that the retired foundry worker loved to go fishing.
“I just want him caught,” he told the newspaper of Stephens. “Because he can do it to somebody else.”

The Walking Dead Season 7 Episode 13 Recap: Morgan Becomes a Killer
If you were looking for some raw emotion after several weeks of filler drama, you probably did not expect the events that transpired on The Walking Dead Season 7 Episode 13.
If you watch The Walking Dead online, you will already know it was only a matter of time before Ezekiel changed his stance on the Saviors and everything boiled over on the latest episode.
When the episode got underway, the King and his men were on their way to delivering some goods to the scary looking people they have been dealing with all season long. The group was presented with a string of shocks along the way.
For a start, their route was blocked off due to a shopping cart blockade. Ominously, there was a grave already dug with “Bury Me Here” plastered across a sign.
When the group finally got to the meeting point, it became apparent there was going to be some trouble brewing. Part of this was down to the fact that one of the melons were missing.
The unnamed dude decided that it was time to commit some murder over some missing melons. This resulted in Ben being shot.
The group took the teenager to Carol’s house because they knew she was the best person to try to save him, but it was too late.
He bled out on her kitchen table, and it resulted in some of the most emotionally charged scenes of the season.
The death destroyed Morgan, who immediately thought about the death of his wife and son. After lashing out, he found the missing melon and realized Richard was the perpetrator.
It all made sense: Richard wanted to join the fight against the Saviors weeks ago, so turning Ezekiel against the evil guys was a good move to start that war.
Morgan went straight to Richard, who was quick to point out that he volunteered himself for the kill.
“Someone had to die. I tried to be the one,” Richard revealed. Yeah, be careful what you wish for, Richie.
When the group returned to the Saviors with the missing melon, Morgan shocked everyone by strangling Richard to death. It was gruesome and shocking, but it successfully raised the stakes.
It also helped Morgan change his stance on the whole killing thing. He was now a cold-blooded killer.
“I wanted to show you that we get it,” Morgan claimed, as he revealed the shocking depths of Richard’s deceit.
The Saviors were taken aback, but happy. It put them in a false sense of security as the group decided how best to proceed.
After a horrible day, Morgan went to visit Carol to bring her up to speed on the events, but also to let her know what happened to Glenn, Abraham, Spencer and Olivia.
Carol was not shocked. When you think about it, these people never get anything good in their lives, so the poor woman probably knew all along that something was not right.
Carol went after Morgan after he stormed off and was there for him when he needed her. It was very similar to the way he was there for her earlier in the series.
Carol then decided enough was enough and turned to Ezekiel to let him know it was ready to join the fight with Rick and his people.
Ezekiel did not even hesitate and agreed on the spot. This was a far cry from his reaction a few weeks back. All it took was young Ben dying.

Tilikum, World"s Most Famous Killer Whale, Dies at 36
Tilikum, the famous, beloved and controversial whale who lived most of his life at SeaWorld in San Diego, died on Friday after a year-long battle with a bacterial infection.
He was presumed to be 36 years old.
The infection affected the animal’s lungs and had been around since last spring, during which time SeaWorld veterinarian sadly announced that the illness was “chronic and progressive.”
Tilikum was born in Iceland and captured in 1983.
He was held in a concrete tank for a year, prior to being sent to British Columbia, Canada, to perform at Sealand of the Pacific.
Over the years, Tilikum became a source of scandal; both due to animal rights organizations taking issue with how animals are held in captivity in this kind of manner…
… and also because he was actually linked to three separate deaths.
In 1991, 20-year-old Keltie Byrne slipped into a tank at an amusement park called Sealand, got thrashed around by whales (including Tilikum) and drowned.
In 1999, 27-year-old Daniel Dukes snuck into SearWorld (after Tilikum was transferred there) and was found drowned and draped across Tilikum’s back.
In 2010, trainer Dawn Brancheau leaned over Tilikum’s tank, was grabbed in his jaws by her hair and drowned as a result of the subsequent thrashing.
Nevertheless, following a year hiatus, Tilikum’s shows continued.
Fans kept showing up to see him perform.
In 2013, the documentary “Blackfish” centered significantly around Tilikum and the deaths that surrounded his existence in captivity.
The film portrayed the whale as a victim; one researcher said his circumstance turned him “psychotic.”
In 2014, SeaWorld announced that it would the stop the practice of captive whale breeding, announcing that Tilikum’s “will be the last generation of orcas at SeaWorld.
He is believed to have sired 21 children.
Despite these controversies, those at SeaWorld held Tilikum in high esteem.

The SeaWorld family is deeply saddened to announce that one of its most well-known orcas, Tilikum, has passed away. Tilikum passed away early this morning, January 6, surrounded by the trainers, care staff and veterinarians that provided him around-the-clock world-class care.
Like all older animals, Tilikum had faced some very serious health issues. While the official cause of death will not be determined until the necropsy is completed, the SeaWorld veterinarians were treating a persistent and complicated bacterial lung infection.
The suspected bacteria is part of a group of bacteria that is found in water and soil both in wild habitats and zoological settings.
Tilikum’s veterinarians and caretakers delivered various treatment regimens over the course of this illness, which consisted of, among other things, combinations of anti-inflammatories, anti-bacterials, anti-nausea medications, hydration therapy and aerosolized antimicrobial therapy.
While today is a difficult day for the SeaWorld family, it’s important to remember that Tilikum lived a long and enriching life while at SeaWorld and inspired millions of people to care about this amazing species.
Tilikum’s life will always be inextricably connected with the loss of our dear friend and colleague, Dawn Brancheau. While we all experienced profound sadness about that loss, we continued to offer Tilikum the best care possible, each and every day, from the country’s leading experts in marine mammals.
“Tilikum had, and will continue to have, a special place in the hearts of the SeaWorld family, as well as the millions of people all over the world that he inspired,” said President & CEO of SeaWorld Joel Manby. “My heart goes out to our team who cared for him like family.”
Tilikum became a part of SeaWorld’s family 25 years ago. Estimated to be about 36 years old, Tilikum was near the high end of the average life expectancy for male killer whales according to an independent scientific review.
Tilikum was not born at or collected by SeaWorld. He came to us from Sealand of the Pacific in Canada.
SeaWorld has not collected a whale from the wild in nearly 40 years, and this past March we announced the end of the orca breeding program effectively making the whales currently at SeaWorld the last generation of orcas under human care.
Lyle Menendez: 9 Things We Learned About the Parent Killer
On August 20, 1989, Lyle and Erik Menendez shot their parents in their bedroom, firing away at Mom and Dad with shotguns they purchased just days prior to the killings.
In court, they admitted to the crime and claimed that their father had abused them for years, arguing for self-defense.
The siblings were convicted and are serving consecutive life terms in prison.
On Thursday night, however, ABC aired a two-hour special titled "Truth And Lies: The Menendez Brothers."
It featured an interview with Lyle (from Mule Creek State Prison in Ione, California) and the following revelations about the brothers; their grisly crime; and what life has been like for them ever since.
Here is what we learned:
1. Prior to the Murders…
Lyle and Erik committed many home robberies when they lived in Calabasas. According to ex-family frind Karen Ferrell, who was interview for the special, the teenagers “were bored.… Robbing houses was a challenge.… They didn’t think they’d be caught.”
2. After the Murder…
A jury believed that the brothers showed no remorse for the actions, one of the main reasons they were convicted. Five weeks after the murder, Erik and Lyle received $ 400,000 in life insurance money and used it to go on a spending spree. ABC journalist Terry Morgan recalled: They were having a grand ole time spending the money of a dead man.” They purchased Rolexes and a Porsche, among other items.
3. Lyle Felt Pressure from His Dad
Jose Menendez was a successful businessman, and his influence and attitude affected his kids: “My father was like a force of nature and you look up to that,” Lyle told ABC. “You are expected to be competitive to a fault. He began to sort of try to groom me to be hypercompetitive and succeed.”
4. He’s Not in Denial About What Happened, But…
“I’m a more fully formed adult now. Of course looking back it’s shocking to think about that that happened. That I could have been involved in taking anyone’s life and my parents’ life… It seems unimaginable because it seems so far removed from who I am and who I was.”
5. How Was This an Act of Self-Defense?
Lyle and Erik shot their defenseless parents in their bedroom, yet said in court they acted in self-defense. We learned in the documentary that Lyle said back at the time: “I thought they were going ahead with their plan to kill us.” (The jury did not believe this line of defense, of course.)
6. What is the Relationship Between the Brothers Now?
They have not seen each other since 1996. They keep in touch via letters and even play chess, one move at a time, through the mail.

Lisa Marie Naegle: See Her Family Confront Her Killer!
Have you been keeping up with the completely tragic and deeply disturbing story of Lisa Marie Naegle?
The world got to know Lisa Marie when she was a contestant on the classic reality show Bridalplasty back in 2010.
While it would have been wonderful to see more of this woman — she was a sweetheart on the show — it won"t be possible.
She was brutally murdered early on Sunday morning.
Lisa Marie was at birthday party on Saturday night when she met up with a nursing student of hers, Jackie Jerome Rogers.
They"d allegedly been having an affair, but Lisa Marie tried to end it that night — something that clearly drove Rogers over the edge.
He struck her repeatedly in the head with a hammer, then buried her body in a shallow grave in his backyard.
And the story only gets worse …
Rogers confessed to the murder on Sunday morning, hours after it happened, but before he told his story to police, he met with Lisa Marie"s family.
They suspected he had something to do with her disappearance, so much that they confronted him at his house.
They recorded their interrogation of Rogers, who, at the time, denied doing anything beyond simply seeing her at the party.

Jessa Duggar: See Her Son"s KILLER Dance Moves!
Look, maybe the Duggars aren"t your cup of tea. And that"s OK.
Maybe you just never watched 19 Kids and Counting, perhaps because you just don"t enjoy reality television, or because you didn"t see any entertainment value in watching a married couple have as many children as humanly possible.
Maybe you didn"t agree with the Duggars" beliefs — after all, homophobia, transphobia, misogyny, and just good old-fashioned bigotry isn"t eveybody"s jam.
There"s also a chance that you promised yourself that you"d never look at this family ever, ever again after the news broke that Josh Duggar had molested five young girls, four of those girls being his little sisters.
And all that"s totally fair, believe us. More than fair, really.
But every cloud, no matter how dark and scary and awful, has its silver lining, you know?
And for this family, the silver lining seems to be the precious little children who are totally innocent in all this nonsense.
One of those little children is Jessa Duggar"s son, little Spurgeon Seewald. Spurgeon just celebrated his first birthday earlier this month, and he"s so cute it hurts.
