Halsey Shares Tragic Miscarriage Story, Receives Fan Support

In a new interview with Rolling Stone, Halsey opens up about a very personal and very painful experience she suffered through last year:

The singer had a miscarriage.

The sensitive subject was broached after Halsey said she read an earlier story by her Rolling Stone interviewer about Planned Parenthood.

This prompted the following confession:

“I felt like I was suffocating reading that article. Like someone put a shopping bag over my head. I didn’t want to meet you at all.

“I was really terrified of you, because I knew as soon as I saw you, I was going to need to tell you that last year on tour I got pregnant.”

This marked the first time Halsey has spoken publicly about the pregnancy.

She admits it was unplanned and that it threw her world into a tailspin.

“What happens? Do I lose my record deal? Do I lose everything? Or do I keep [the pregnancy]?” she says she asked herself, along with questions such as:

“What are the fans going to think? What are the moms going to think? What is the Midwest going to think? What’s f-cking everyone going to think?”

The musician was then in Chicago for a concern when the miscarriage took place.

Amazingly, she STILL performed that evening, giving in to peer pressure and to the importance of the show, as she explained to Rolling Stone:

“I’m like, ‘I have to cancel this show!’ And everyone’s kind of like, ‘Well, it’s Vevo LIFT, and it’s 3 million impressions, so …’ No one knew what to do.”

According to the magazine, “Halsey sent her assistant to the drugstore to buy adult diapers. She put one on, took two Percocet and went to the venue to do her job.”

That’s insane.

“It’s the angriest performance that I’ve ever done in my life,” Halsey now says.

“That was the moment of my life where I thought to myself, ‘I don’t feel like a f-cking human being anymore.’

“This thing, this music, Halsey, whatever it is that I’m doing, took precedence and priority over every decision that I made regarding this entire situation from the moment I found out until the moment it went wrong.

“I walked offstage and went into the parking lot and just started throwing up.”

Halsey went on to admit she blamed herself for losing the baby.

She had been living a whirlwind lifestyle and it caught up to her in the worst way possible.

“I wasn’t drinking. I wasn’t doing drugs,” she clarifies, adding:

“I was f-cking overworked – in the hospital every couple of weeks because I was dehydrated, needing bags of IVs brought to my green room. I was anemic, I was fainting.

“My body just broke the f-ck down.”

The honestly of the interview has led “#proudofhasley” to grow into a trending topic on Twitter.

Fans around the world are using it to thank the artist for her candid take on a terrible situation; and also to show appreciation for her career.

“I want to be a mom more than I want to be a pop star. More than I want to be anything in the world,” Halsey concluded.

We send her our best wishes and we join the growing chorus of social media admirers who appreciate Halsey’s brutal honesty.

We hope she hangs in there.

Courtney Stodden Turns to Champagne and Selfies in Wake of Miscarriage

Last week, Courtney Stodden suffered a miscarriage in the second month of her pregnancy.

In the aftermath, Stodden was understandably quiet on social media, but she did take to time to express her gratitude for the outpouring of affection and support she received from fans.

Now that a few days have passed, Courtney is back on Instagram, and she seems to be managing her grief as well as could be expected.

Though some fans have expressed concern with Courtney’s coping mechanism of choice.

Stodden posted the pics below earlier today, and some fans are taking them as an indication that she’s drowning her sorrows in booze because, well, she basically said that’s what she’s doing.

“Champagne Days #picoftheday,” she captioned the pic on the left.

“Numbing myself of the deep loneliness I feel,” she wrote nest to the pic on the right.

Obviously, for anyone who’s never endured it, a miscarriage is an unimaginably difficult experience, and anything that brings Courtney a modicum of peace during this trying time can’t be all bad.

Courtney’s troubles have been compounded by the public nature of her miscarriage as well as a slew of rumors that her pregnancy was fake.

That said, we join her concerned fans in hoping that she’s not turning to booze as her sole or primary means of handling her grief.

Courtney’s never been known to suffer from any addiction issues in the past, but she only turned 21 last year, and she stated in several interviews that she never experimented with drugs and never drank until she was legal.

Courtney celebrated her 21st by getting drunk last summer, which is obviously the customary way to mark the occasion.

We just hope she’s not making it a regular habit these days.

Courtney Stodden: Fake Pregnancy Rumors Surface in Wake of Miscarriage

Early this morning, several media outlets reported that Courtney Stodden had a miscarriage just two months after confirming that she was pregnant with her first child.

From day one, many expressed their doubts that the 21-year-old social media star (who first gained fame for marrying 56-year-old actor Doug Hutchison when she was just 16) was actually expecting.

Courtney and Doug have been known to engage in outlandish publicity stunts in the past, and even Courtney’s mother believed the pregnancy news to be fake.

Stodden posted nude pregnancy photos and images of herself in the throes of morning sickness to convince others that the reports were true, but many deemed the proof insufficient.

Now that her reps have released a statement claiming that Courtney lost the baby, a lot of folks on social media are speculating that it’s just the latest step in a bizarre effort to drum up media attention.

“It is with a heavy heart we inform you that last week Courtney Stodden suffered a heartbreaking miscarriage,” read a statement from her reps issued to People magazine this morning.

“Courtney and her husband, Doug, are at an emotional loss for words and are using this time to grieve with their close family and friends.”

Like we said, the news has been met with a great deal of skepticism, but for the most part, Courtney’s fans have been effusive in their support.

The model and aspiring singer has been mostly silent since the news went public, but she posted several brief tweets early this morning:

“I love you my sweet angel,” read one. “God is embracing you.”

She followed that up with a meme reading:

“Babies lost in the womb were never touched by fear, they were never cold, never hungry, never alone, and importantly, always knew that they were loved.”

Courtney Stodden and Doug Hutchison Lose Baby To Miscarriage

Courtney Stodden has suffered a miscarriage.

After a string of publicity stunts to prove that she was pregnant, Stodden’s pregnancy to Doug Hutchison has come to a tragic conclusion.

“It is with a heavy heart to inform you that last week Courtney Stodden suffered a heartbreaking miscarriage,” Stodden’s manager Gina Rodriguez said in a statement to PEOPLE.

“Courtney and her husband, Doug, are at an emotional loss for words and are using this time to grieve with their close family and friends.”

“Please respect their privacy as the couple try to cope with losing their precious baby and seek the support they both need,” the statement continued.

This has got to be a heartbreaking time for the couple.

Stodden and Hutchison have had a lot of drama in their lives recently.

Stodden has been at odds with her mother and they tried to sort their differences out on Lifetime’s The Mother/Daughter Experiment, but they didn’t succeed.

Then there was word that her mother was going to bank off the Stodden gravy train by writing a tell-all book about her life.

There was even word that her mother was still in love with Hutchison.

It’s all pretty darn crazy.

Will Krista actually stop her tirade against her daughter and be a mom in a time of need?

That sure seems like a foregone conclusion at this point.

If there’s money concerned, there may be a chance.

We would like to extend our sympathy to Courtney and Doug at this tough time.

Jamie Otis Opens Up About Miscarriage, Tries to Put Pain Into Words

Jamie Otis has experienced something she wishes no woman would ever have to experience:

Just days after announcing she was pregnant, the reality star lost the baby to a miscarriage.

Otis, who exchanged vows with Doug Hehner immediately after meeting him on the series Married at First Sight, took to her official blog a day after this tragic news went public and poured her heart into a new message.

She attempted to put what she and Doug are going through into words.

“My heart is so heavy,” wrote Otis, whose little boy was due in December.

“There are no words to express the pain and sorrow associated with losing our baby Hehner.”

Otis went on to write that she had just recently chose to visit a high risk pregnancy doctor’s office due to concerns that she was bleeding more than a pregnant woman should.

The reality star added that child was still moving around and had a strong heartbeat at the time; physicians found nothing wrong with the placenta, either.

Visiting the first of four specialists, Otis and Hehner discovered that things were not okay with their bundle of joy:

She did not have enough amniotic fluid.

“How could the prognosis be so ‘poor’ when I had just seen our baby’s feet kicking and his little body bouncing around in my belly less than a week before,” Otis writes.

“Needless to say, we didn’t want to believe in that prognosis even though everyone raved about how amazing this doctor is. (And there’s no doubt in my mind he is an amazing doctor, but we were just in such denial!)

“We decided I would go on bed rest, drink lots of coconut water and even more regular spring water and fight for our baby.”

Otis also shared the above collage on Instagram and wrote the following as a caption:

Baby Hehner, daddy made this picture collage for you. It’s only been one day since we lost you, but our love for you has grown more than you’ll know.

You’re our little Angel up in Heaven.

We cannot wait to meet you and hold you again one day. We love you and miss you.

We send our condolences to this couple at this very difficult time.

Doug Hehner and Jamie Otis Lose Baby to Miscarriage

Doug Hehner and Jamie Otis have tragically lost their baby, five months before he or she was scheduled to enter the world.

In an emotional Instagram message, Otis broke the news to followers of the couple, who met on the reality show Married at First Sight.

“Our Baby Hehner was just too beautiful for earth,” she rote.

“I love him so much – ALWAYS will – and can’t wait to meet him in heaven one day. Please pray for us.”

Alongside this tragic confirmation, Otis shared a message that read as follows:

“An angel opened up the book of life and wrote down my baby’s birth. Then she whispered as she closed the book, ‘He’s too beautiful for earth."”

Here’s a look at that message as she posted it:

sweet tweet

Otis was due to give birth in December.

It would have been the first child for both her Hehner.

The reality star announced they were expecting, via an interview with People Magazine, just last week.

“Jamie is the strongest woman I know,” a close friend tells the publication in light of this news, adding:

“And Doug has remained her rock through everything. Their love will get them through this.”

Otis and Hehner met for the first time on their wedding day, per the rules of the aforementioned reality series.

Their unconventional relationship has since been chronicled on their spin-off program, Married at First Sight: The First Year.

They seemed legitimately in love, despite of the unusual way in which their marriage began.

“We certainly worked on the relationship, and I think when you’re in the trenches and you make it out together, you become stronger as a couple,” Hehner recently said on the Today show.

Well said.

We send them our best wishes and condolences during this difficult period.

Sarah Symonds: Gordon Ramsay Had a Vasectomy! Tana"s Miscarriage is FAKE!!

Gordon Ramsay’s former mistress Sarah Symonds believes the celebrity chef’s wife was never recently pregnant and is faking a miscarriage.

Who would do such a thing (besides Tila Tequila)?

Sad news of Tana Ramsay’s miscarriage surprised his fans this spring, and sparked an outpouring of support for the longtime couple.

Not from Sarah Symonds, however.

“I feel he was motivated to talk about his wife Tana’s ‘phantom’ pregnancy, and then losing the child, for its public relations value,” she says.

“I find it curious that his wife never showed a baby bump up through the fifth month, when he alleged she lost the child,” Sarah adds.

“Furthermore, she never once talked publicly about being in a pregnant way, leaving that for Gordon to do on a late night talk show.”

“Then, when she miscarried, he once again took control, posting an official statement about it on Facebook.”

Accusing him of milking the story “to engender sympathy from his adoring fans,” she said, “I’m asking that he turn over his medical records.”

That’s right … his medical records.

Because he had told her, allegedly, several times during their seven year affair that he’d had a vasectomy. Naturally.

“If somehow her pregnancy was for real and she lost the baby, I truly feel for her,” added Symonds.

“But if that was the case, then it’s also possible that Gordon never had a vasectomy in the first place and lied to me so that he could have unprotected sex!”

“In fact, he only used a condom our last time together at my insistence because I’d been told there were other women.”

“To be on the safe side, I was on the pill.”

Is it possible to have a vasectomy and then get it reversed? Of course, and Symonds acknowledges this is a possibility, but …

“Gordon blabs about just about everything in his personal life, so why wouldn’t he talk about having had a vasectomy and then getting it reversed?”

“Gordon told me in no uncertain terms that he couldn’t have any more kids because of the vasectomy he’d had.”

“So which is it, did he ever have the procedure, was it reversed or was it just another of his many outright lies to me?”

“He owes me some small degree of respect in this matter given we’d been intimate for such a long period,” she ranted.

Moreover, “by going public with his story he could have helped so many men going through the same thing … to be a beacon of support.”

We’re trying not to laugh at that last line.

Furthermore, Symonds questioned her ability to even get pregnant at age 41, because her last child was conceived with the help of IVF.

Ramsay and Tana have been married since 1996. They have four kids, daughters Megan 17, Holly, 16, and Matilda, 14, and son, Jack, 16.

Symonds blasted Gordon, 49, for treating his wife like a “rag doll” and said she was in denial when their 2001-2008 affair went public.

Hillary Scott Opens Up About Miscarriage

Hillary Scott has opened up about something very personal very painful.

The Lady Antebellum singer suffered a miscarriage last year.

It happened in the fall, Scott said through tears during an appearance yesterday on Good Morning America.

She went into more detail as follows:

“This is something that is not talked about very often. I also feel like there’s this pressure that you’re supposed to be able to snap your fingers and continue to walk through life like it never happened.”

But that wasn’t an option for Scott.

It was the most difficult thing she ever experienced.

The artist – who shares a two-year-old daughter, Eisele Kaye, with her husband, Chris Tyrrell – said she recorded an album with her family to get through the rough period.

(Tyrrell is the drummer for the country music band Love and Theft and she met Sctott during Tim McGraw’s Southern Voice tour in 2010.

They got married in upstate New York in January 2012.)

Referring to the track “Thy Will,” Scott said on GMA:

“I wrote the song in the middle of experiencing everything that comes with the miscarriage so it was my most raw place that I could’ve ever been when this song truly poured out of me.”

The album is titled “Love Remains” and it comes out on July 29.

“I’m a different mom to her now,” Scott added, saying of her young daughter: “I hug her a lot tighter.”

Here is a photo of Scott and her adorable child:

Earlier this month, we reported on Gordon Ramsay’s wife also having had a recent miscarriage.

How has this experience shaped Scott overall?

She’ll be going on tour with her group this summer and says simply: “I’m very grateful.”

We salute Scott for talking about this very difficult situation and we wish her the best in life.

Gordon Ramsay"s Wife Suffers Miscarriage, Celebrity Chef Thanks Fans for Support

Tragedy has struck the family of Gordon Ramsay.

The Hell’s Kitchen host confirmed on Facebook today that his wife, Tana, recently suffered a miscarriage.

Sadly, she was five months along into her pregnancy when it happened.

“Tana and I want to thank you so much for your support over the past couple of weeks,” the celebrity captioned a photo with his wife.

We’ve featured the photo below.

“We had a devastating weekend as Tana has sadly miscarried our son at five months,” he continued. “We’re together healing as a family, but we want to thank everyone again for all your amazing support and well wishes. “

“I’d especially like to send a big thank you to the amazing team at Portland Hospital for everything they’ve done.”

The Ramsays, who got married in 1996, announced that they were expecting their fifth child in April, 14 years after the birth of their youngest child.

Ramsay made the announcement while a guest on The Late Late Show with James Corden.

“I’m really nervous,” he said at the time. “Obviously, I’m happy with another girl. Four girls. Four weddings. Four Sweet 16s. Four boyfriends.”

The couple is the parents of Megan, 18, twins Jack and Holly, 16, and Matilda, 14.

We send our condolences to the family during this difficult time.

Teen Mom 2 Recap: Who Got Engaged? Who Gave Birth? Who Had a Miscarriage?

Monday on Teen Mom 2 Season 7 Episode 5, the second installment in as many nights, Cole had a major surprise in store for Chelsea.

Meanwhile, the Carolina Hurricane herself, Jenelle Evans, was forced to face the music – i.e. the assault charges against her – again.

Also, Kailyn Lowry revealing some devastating news, and Leah Messer’s ex, Corey Simms, welcomed his newest child into this world.

Oh yes, emotions were at an all-time zenith, as you’ll see when you watch Teen Mom 2 online (if you haven’t done so already, of course).

Let’s break down the latest, greatest episode of the MTV hit:

Beginning on a happy note … Chelsea is engaged!

“He took me to this spot he likes out in the woods,” Houska told her mom. “There were a whole bunch of trees that had pictures of us.”

“Then he got on his knee … He even asked [Aubree],” Chelsea gushed. “He was like, ‘Is it OK if I marry your mommy?’ I was very emotional.”

Not on the guest list for the big day? Adam Lind.

Just a hunch there. The inked-up bad boy and frequent taker of lewd selfies spent most of the episode brooding about custody issues.

Jenelle Evans’ lawyer must bill so many hours

Seriously, what a great client to get if you’re in the criminal defense profession. So many legal battles, so little time to keep them straight.

This week, the assault charges brought against Jenelle by Nathan Griffith’s girlfriend threatened to impact the star’s custody agreement.

Essentially, Nathan feels their son Kaiser is being kept from him, and his GF offered to drop the charges … with a side of soft blackmail.

“They’ve got you red-handed, and you admit to everything you did, and there’s no defense to it,” Jenelle’s lawyer explained, candidly.

“And that’s assault and battery, third degree.”

So it’s either fork over custody or fight a losing court battle. No wonder she was crying in the bathroom after mulling over these options.

At least her boyfriend of the week David Eason moved in with her, a situation that will totally never backfire in any way, shape or form.

Congratulations, Corey and Miranda!

The most-subtitled member of the Teen Mom 2 cast welcomed his daughter with second wife Miranda Patterson, which is very special.

For Leah Messer, though, it was complicated.

With the baby coming months early, and the new parents having their hands full, Leah offered to help by taking care of her twin girls.

Corey had no interest in taking her up on it.

“Wouldn’t it be easier to allow the mother of your children to take them?” Leah complained, but of course, she had already lost custody.

Messer later showed us why, looking frazzled as s–t trying to get Ali to chorus on time, forgetting part of her outfit and losing her cool.

“Are you f–king kidding me right now? Why is my life so f–king horrible Like, what the f–k,” Leah said as Twitter no doubt went berzerk.

More devastation rocks Kailyn Lowry

The troubled mother of two revealed that she suffered a miscarriage earlier in the season, initially opting not to talk about it on camera.

However, she opened up to a friend in this episode, recalling that she bled for “days and days … we had planned the baby down to a science.

“We didn’t tell anyone. We were gonna announce on our Christmas cards,” Lowry lamented, then opened up about her husband, too.

She didn’t feel that Javi Marroquin had her back at all while she was hospitalized, which he later explained and took responsibility for.

“I knew it was no one’s fault – it wasn’t your fault, and it wasn’t my fault. But it’s crazy … it’s like I needed someone to blame,” he said.

“That was part of the reason why me and you were fighting so much …. I needed to blame somebody, and I was taking it out on you.”

“I’m sorry for being mean … In my head, I’m thinking, ‘She shouldn’t have went to the gym, she shouldn’t have gone to jiu jitsu,’ or stuff like that.”

“I know it had nothing to do with that.”

Kailyn seemed to accept her husband’s apology, but things are not good … it could be all over for Lowry and Marroquin at this point.

Kimberly McCullough Opens Up About Miscarriage

Via a lengthy, intimate blog entry, Kimberly McCullough has revealed that she suffered a miscarriage in 2015.

The veteran actress, best known for her portrayal of Robin Scorpio on General Hospital, opened her post by listing all the reasons why last year started out on a positive note.

She was asked to direct an episode of Pretty Little Liars. She found a new boyfriend. She adopted a puppy.

And she found out she was pregnant with a baby girl.

“My heart was so full and then it broke,” McCullough wrote, explaining that had suffered a miscarriage:

I had lost my baby girl. It was too much. I didn’t need to learn this lesson. I wasn’t interested.

But I wasn’t in control. These things happen and no, I don’t believe they happen ‘for a reason.’ I’m still processing, still healing, but anyone who has gone through it knows, losing a baby at 22 weeks is tragic.

We can only imagine. Our heart goes out to McCullough.

Despite the heartbreaking experience, however, the actress remains hopeful.

“One thing I am proud of… was that I allowed myself to be happy and to relish the moment,” she wrote.

“I sat in all that goodness and I can recall those feelings (when I’m having different ones) and hope that it can be like that again.

“Not to go total Oprah on you, but at the end of this year and the beginning of the next, I am grateful for it all. Tired. But grateful.”

You may go as Oprah on us as you wish, Kimberly.

We send thoughts, prayers and best wishes your way.
