Selena Gomez: On the Road to Recovery With Help From Justin Bieber
Last week, we learned that Selena Gomez had completed a stint in rehab.
It’s unclear exactly what prompted the singer to seek help, but she was reportedly in treatment for two weeks.
The move coincides with Selena’s reconcilation with Justin Bieber, and many fans assumed her mental state had deteriorated as a result of the relationship.
That doesn’t appear to be the case, however, as those who know the couple best claim that Justin has been a much-needed source of support and stability in recent weeks.
According to Page Six, Selena and Justin were spotted walking together in Laguna Beach, California over the weekend.
Their romantic stroll came just days after they were photographed enjoying an evening out together at the Sunset Tower Hotel.
While it may have seemed to be nothing more than a quiet night out to onlookers, the date actually had considerable significance for Selena:
“It was [one of] her first nights out in public since rehab. They were seated away from all the action outside by the pool for privacy,” a source tells Page Six.
“They seemed very sweet together, cozying up and canoodling. He was being very tender and attentive . . . a sweet, supportive boyfriend.”
So there you have it.
It seems hell has frozen over and Justin Bieber has turned a new leaf.
As you’ll likely, Justin was the worst boyfriend imaginable for much of his tumultuous relationship for Selena, but it sounds like he’s currently making up for lost time.
Last we heard, Selena’s family still hates Bieber, and it’ll likely be quite some time before he’s able to change their minds.
It’s one thing to convince your ex that you’re a changed man, but it’s quite another to convince her mother that things will be different this time.
But hey, if the rumors are true, and Justin and Selena are really in it for the long haul then he’ll have plenty of time to win over the Gomez clan.
And if he can’t … well, there are worse things than being hated by your in-laws.
In fact, that’s the subject of more than 90 percent of the world’s worst standup comedy.

Amy Roloff Hits the Road with Boyfriend, Gets Hated on By Fans
The countdown is on for fans of Little People, Big World.
Any day now, Audrey Roloff and Jeremy Roloff will welcome their first child into the world…
… and a great many people on the Internet absolutely cannot wait!
But these same people now find themselves wondering:
Why don’t the Roloffs themselves seem particularly excited?!?
They aren’t referring to Audrey herself, of course; Roloff is clearly psyched to become a mother.
But Matt Roloff recently left on a business trip and Zach jetted out of town to visit Tori’s grandparents, meaning a couple of Audrey’s close loved ones were willing to risk that they’d be gone for the blessed event.
Both Matt and Zach traveled on airplanes, however.
So they have mostly avoided scrutiny because it would be easy to just hop on a return flight if Audrey went into labor.
HOWEVER, Amy Roloff has been sharing photos on Facebook and Instagram of a road trip she’s embarked on with boyfriend Chris Malek.
And many Little People, Big World followers haven’t been shy in letting Amy know how they feel about her decision to hit the literal road right around the time her granddaughter is due.
“Amy, I’m so disappointed with you,” wrote one individual, adding:
“I thought you were smarter than you are showing. No man could keep me away from my family with a ‘special delivery’ so close! FAMILY before anything or anybody!”
This is the main reason Amy is facing backlash.
Matt left on business, that can’t really be helped. Zach left to see family at least.
But Amy drove away with a lover whose presence in her life has often been a source of contention among viewers.
“I love your show so much, but I have to say this really takes me by surprise big time,” wrote another critic, explaining why as follows:
“Your granddaughter can be born any minute. I don’t understand why you would leave now? I’m sorry, but it seems so wrong.”
Is this disdain really warranted?
First, Audrey isn’t actually due until August 31.
Second, it’s not as though grandparents are expected to be in the delivery room when the baby is born.
Third, first-time mothers are often in labor for a very, very long time; we’re talking 24 hours or more.
Amy will probably have ample opportunity to make it back once she learned her grandchild is on the way.
Because she’s too nice to lash out too hard at these strangers online, Amy simply replied to the ongoing negative feedback as follows:
“Just because I and my family put our lives on TV doesn’t mean respect decency and kindness goes out the window,” she wrote on Facebook.
“Matt is away, Zach and Tori and myself. We love Jer and Auj and can’t wait to meet baby girl. She could arrive early, on time or late.
“We’ll all be there to love her bunches.”
That’s all we need to hear. We see no reason not to believe her.

Darrell Ward, Ice Road Truckers Star, Killed in Plane Crash
Darrell Ward, star of Ice Road Truckers on the History Channel, was killed on Sunday afternoon in a tragic plane crash.
He was 52 years old.
According to a local Fox affiliate in Montana, Ward was co-piloting the Cessna 182 when he attempted to land it at Rock Creek Airport.
However, it crashed near the eastbound lanes on the shoulder off of I-90 after it stalled out while approaching the private airstrip.
Ward had been scheduled to start filming for the upcoming season of the widely-viewed reality series this winter.
A press release states that he was headed to Missoula Montana after stopping by The Great American Truck Show in Dallas to begin shooting the pilot for a new documentary type of show.
The new series was going to, ironically, focus on the recovery of plane wrecks.
Ward’s co-pilot also died in yesterday’s accident.
A message on Ward’s Facebook confirmed the news of his tragic passing. It reads:
It’s with great sadness to report we have lost our Montana Legend at the young age of 52.
Darrell Ward had just left The Great American Truck Show in Dallas, Texas where he enjoyed meeting numerous fans and friends and was heading to Missoula to begin filming a pilot for his new documentary style show involving the recovery of plane wrecks when he and his co-pilot crashed and lost their lives.
An investigation is ongoing and more information will be made available at a later time as the National Transportation Safety Board will be handling they investigation.
They things Darrell loved most were his family including his kids and grand-kids & trucking.
Darrell Ward rose to fame with his role on the extremely popular History Channel’s reality show, Ice Road Truckers.
Darrell just finished filming Season X earlier this year for the show and had just learned that he had a green light this past weekend for an additional season on the show originally slated to begin filming in the winter of 2017.
When Darrell wasn’t hitting the Ice Roads he would be back in Montana doing what Darrel loved best as a log hauler and occasionally helped local authorities fight forest fires.
Trucking has always been a large part of Darrell’s life; from running the harvest rigs with his grandparents and family, to driving trucks from Montana to Alaska and all roads in between.
In his free time, you could usually find Darrell giving back to the community any chance he got, he had promoted the most recent food drive to help victims in the Louisiana Floods and was scheduled to appear as the grand marshal for the Truck Convoy for Special Olympics in Nova Scotia.
In his free time, Darrell enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, dirt bike riding and all things outdoors. A self-proclaimed “ADRENALINE JUNKIE”, Darrell was up for any adventure.
His motto, “ANY ROAD, ANY LOAD” fits his personality perfectly.
While many of you will share in this loss, we ask that you respect the family’s privacy during their time of grief. His manager and best friend M. Bob Stanton and long time friend Chuck Campbell are expected to make a lengthier statement shortly.
Ward starred on Ice Road Truckers for four seasons.
Our thoughts and condolences go out to his family members, friends and loved ones.
