Taylor Swift Releases "Call It What You Want," Praises Joe Alwyn!

Taylor Swift, whether you love her or hate her or somehow manage to be indifferent, is back.

She"s owning the "snake" label and turning it back on her detractors. Her new album comes out sooner that you could believe.

But you don"t have to wait that long, because she"s dropped a brand new single — and you can listen to it, below.

Taylor swift joe alwynTaylor swift rocks

What was the first thing that you did this morning? (Wait, don"t answer that)

The first thing that I did this morning was check my phone, and I"d received an iTunes email telling me that a new Taylor Swift song was available.

YouTube had already notified me that she had a new video available. It"s a lyrics video, but still — it"s the debut of her new song.

Taylor has been teasing the track all week, on social media platforms like Instagram and Tumblr.

(Taylor is known to interact directly with superfans and address them by name on Tumblr in particular)

This song, "Call It What You Want," is only the fourth single that Taylor has unveiled from her new album, Reputation.

As we mentioned, in addition to the iTunes release, the song came out in a lyric video on YouTube.

We"ll be honest, it"s the weakest of Taylor"s new singles … but it"s also quite possibly the most informative.

Joe alwyn

See, "Call It What You Want" is widely believed to be about Joe Alwyn.

Note that Taylor"s previous single, "Gorgeous," which possibly includes North West"s voice in order to taunt Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, is also basically universally believed to be about her current boyfriend.

Seriously, the whole song sounds like gushing over Joe Alwyn, if not by name.

That was "Gorgeous." In "Call It What You Want," Taylor gets to that … but first, before she gets into the relationship stuff, she talks about how she was wronged.

"My castle crumbled overnight / I brought a knife to a gunfight / They took the crown, but it"s alright."

Her career spiraled out of control, as she predicted when she first expressed to Kanye that she was leery of him mentioning her in his song.

(Which we know from the shadily edited recordings that Kim later leaked)

She speaks frankly about how she deliberately vanished from the public eye in order to let things cool down.

"All the liars are calling me one / Nobody"s heard from me for months / I"m doing better than I ever was, "cause."

Why is she now doing better, you wonder?

Taylor swift call it what you want

Here"s the chorus:

"My baby"s fit like a daydream."

We don"t know of any photos of Joe Alwyn shirtless (which is weird, for an actor, right?), so we suppose that we"ll just have to take Taylor"s word for it about his fitness.

"Walking with his head down / I"m the one he"s walking to."

Rumor has it that Taylor and Joe have been meeting covertly to avoid the public eye throughout their relationship.

"So call it what you want, yeah, call it what you want to."

Ah, yes, the part of the song with the song"s title in it.

"My baby"s fly like a jet stream / High above the whole scene / Loves me like I"m brand new."

The "high above the whole scene" line clearly refers to how they can avoid public judgments and rumors and haters by just being separate from them.

And the "loves me like I"m brand new" line, of course, refers to her reputation not being a factor in their relationship.

And then, again, the title.

"So call it what you want, yeah, call it what you want to."

Taylor swift look what you made me do

You guys, Reputation drops in one week — on November 10th.

It will be interesting to see if her relationship with Tom Hiddleston made it into a song.

It will also be interesting to hear how aggressively she calls out Calvin Harris. Kim might have never had the opportunity to drop those recordings on Snapchat if Calvin hadn"t thrown his little tantrum on Twitter first.

Anyway, we can hardly wait.

At last, when Reputation comes out, we"ll know which song is our favorite.

And we"ll get to see how it compares to 1989.

Taylor Swift Releases "Gorgeous," Gushes Over Joe Alwyn

Taylor Swift has released the third single off her upcoming album and it has taken the Internet by storm and the singer’s fans by shock.

How come?

Because this isn’t a break-up anthem.

It’s actually… the opposite?!?

Apparently oh so VERY smitten with current boyfriend Joe Alwyn, Swift gushes over the British stud muffin throughout the course of this song, belting out such lyrics as:

You’re so gorgeous/I can’t say anything to your face/‘Cause look at your face/And I’m so furious/At you for making me feel this way/But what can I say?/You’re gorgeous.

Pretty straightforward, huh?

It’s worth mentioning that Alwyn has blue eyes and that Swift also cites “ocean blue eyes looking in mine, I feel like I might sink and drown and die” in the song.

“You make me so happy it turns back to sad, There’s nothing I hate more than what I can’t have,” she croons at another point.

Go ahead and listen to the single here:

Swift, a 10-time Grammy winner, has of course earned a reputation for often slamming ex-boyfriends in her music.

The most obvious example would be “Dear John,” a song very clearly about John Mayer, along with “I Knew You Were Trouble.”

But Alwyn clearly has a different kind of influence on the superstar.

He and Swift started dating in May and have actually kept their romance mostly on the Down Low, a stark change for a celebrity typically known for flaunting relationships in the media.

“Her decision to keep her relationship with Joe quiet is making her happy,” a source has told People Magazine, adding:

“They have been getting to know each other slowly without any pressure.”

And while the Internet often debates just who the subject is of various Taylor Swift songs, the answer is obvious this time around:

Swift’s upcoming sixth album, “Reputation,” hits stores on November 10.

She debuted the LP’s lead single, “Look What You Made Me Do,” in August; followed by a promotional track titled “…Ready for It?” in early September.

Neither was particularly well received by the listening public.

The video for “Look What You Made Me Do” was especially lambasted. Watch it below.

Of this new record, though, an insider tells Us Weekly that Swift isn’t messing around.

“She’s definitely coming for the Grammys,” the tabloid writes in its latest issue, adding that the disc is “her most experimental work yet in terms of sound.”

Look for her to go after Kanye West, Kim Kardashian, Katy Perry and Calvin Harris on different songs, a second insider tells this same magazine.

Also: look for Swift to be EVERYwhere later this fall in promotion of the album.

Are you ready for her musical comeback?!?

Taylor Swift Releases ANOTHER New Song: Listen Here!

Last week, Taylor dropped "Look What You Made Me Do," the very first single from her new album … and she blew our minds.

Not necessarily because of the quality of the song, which was honestly not so great, but because she had a completely different sound than the old Taylor Swift.

Which makes sense, because in the song, she explains that the old Taylor Swift is dead.

It was also fun to analyze the lyrics and, a few days later, the music video — she obviously has a big grudge with someone, and the girl left us so many hidden clues and messages.

It was like celebrity gossip Christmas, really.

Even though it"s been over a week now since we first heard the song, people are still talking about it. A lot.

Which makes it more than a little surprising that she went ahead and released another single today.

The new song is called "…Ready for It," and while it"s still very, very different than what we"d expect from her, this one is a little more familiar than "Look What You Made Me Do."

And that"s because this song is a love song.

Judging by some of the lyrics, we"re guessing this is about her current boyfriend, actor Joe Alwyn.

They"ve been dating since last year, and in a lyric from the first verse, Taylor sings that the object of her affection here is "younger than my exes but he acts like such a man though."

Joe is 26, a year younger than Taylor, and quite a bit younger than many of her previous lovers, men like Tom Hiddleston, Calvin Harris, and John Mayer.

There"s a chance she could still be pulling inspiration from her relationship with Harry Styles, who is four years her junior, but that would be sad at this point.

So let"s just say this is about Joe — and if it is, then she seems to be very, very serious about him.

So serious that in another part of the song, she sings "Every lover known in comparison is a failure, I forget their names now."

And like, we know she didn"t actually forget their names, but this Joe must be pretty darn special, huh?

Listen to the full song below:

Katy Perry Releases "Swish Swish" Music Video: Take That, Taylor Swift!

A lot of things have happened this summer, so we won"t be mad if you don"t remember, but a few months ago, all the way back in May, Katy Perry released a song from her new album called "Swish Swish."

And as soon as she released it, pretty much everybody theorized that it was a diss track dedicated to none other than Taylor Swift.

It wasn"t all that difficult to believe that theory: after all, Katy and Taylor have been feuding for a few years now.

They dislike each other so much that Taylor wrote her own song about Katy, "Bad Blood."

Plus, the lyrics definitely seem to be about a nemesis of Katy"s, and what bigger nemesis does she have than Taylor Swift?

While she never came out and directly said "Yes, "Swish Swish" is a song about Taylor Swift," Katy has made several comments about the feud in the months since the song"s release.

She"s openly confirmed the feud, and she"s even publicly forgiven Taylor and apologized for anything she may have done to hurt her.

But now that Katy went ahead and released the video, we just can"t see this thing as anything other than massive, massive shade.

For one, there"s the timing of it all: it"s sort of strange to release a music video for a song three months after releasing the song itself.

And it seems like a pretty big coincidence that she"d release it the very same day that Taylor released her long-awaited new single, "Look What You Made Me Do."

And for two … you really just have to watch the video.

It reads a whole lot like Taylor"s "Bad Blood" video — lots of celebrity cameos, a big battle, all that.

But, of course, Katy puts her own goofy spin on it.

The setting is a basketball game against Katy"s team, the Tigers, and the Sheep, and Terry Crews and Molly Shannon act as coaches.

There"s also one of the kids from Stranger Things, an actor from Game of Thrones, that kid with the backpack that danced in her SNL performance, and Doug the Pug.

And of course Nicki Minaj is there to deliver her verse.

Katy has called the video "the hottest mess in history," and, well, she"s not wrong.

Check it out in all of its hilarious, insane glory below:

Chester Bennington"s Widow Releases Statement: My Life Is a Tragedy

Last week, the music world was shocked by the news that beloved Linkin Park singer Chester Bennington had passed away at the age of 41.

Shortly thereafter, investigators confirmed Bennington’s cause of death.

Perhaps mimicking the recent suicide of his friend Chris Cornell, Bennington had hung himself in his Los Angeles home, where his body was discovered by a housekeeper.

He died on what would have been Cornell’s 53rd birthday.

Hundreds of thousands have paid tribute to Bennington online, including many of the famous friends he made over the course of his 17-year music career.

Today, the singer’s grief-stricken widow made her first public statement since Bennington’s passing.

Her words reflect not only her own heartbreak, but also the grief endured by those who knew Bennington best, including his six children.

“One week ago, I lost my soulmate and my children lost their hero – their Daddy,” Talinda Bennington wrote.

“We had a fairytale life and now it has turned into some sick Shakespearean tragedy.”

Talinda went on to say that she hopes her love for her children will sustain her through this incredibly difficult time.

She also reminded fans that their words of support are deeply appreciated.

“How do I move on? How do I pick up my shattered soul? The only answer I know is to raise our babies with every ounce of love I have left,” Talinda stated.

“I want to let my community and the fans worldwide know that we feel your love. We feel your loss as well. My babies are so young to have lost their daddy. And I know that all of you will help keep his memory alive.”

She concluded with a tribute to her departed husband that’s sure to leave many fans in tears.

“He was a bright, loving soul with an angel’s voice,” Talida wrote.

“And now he is pain-free singing his songs in all of our hearts. May God bless us all and help us turn to one another when we are in pain. Chester would’ve wanted us to do so. Rest In Peace, my love.”

Bennington’s family members have stated that while they appreciate the well-wishes from fans, they plan to lay the singer to rest in a private ceremony.

Our thoughts go out to Chester’s loved ones during this difficult time.

Heineken Trolls Pepsi, Releases Politically-Charged Ad

Just three weeks after Pepsi released an ad starring Kendall Jenner as the sole solution to social issues that divide our country, Heineken has come out with its own politically-charged commercial.

But this one is very different than the video that earned Pepsi such stunned backlash.

The beer company has released a four-minute YouTube spot titled “Worlds Apart: An Experiment” in which six strangers with different political and social beliefs are divided into three partnerships.

They are then tasked with working together to build stools, and, eventually, a bar.

If this all sounds very complicated and drawn out for a beer commercial… it is.

But the message does resonate in the end.

After teaming up with one another, the participants were then informed about their partner"s viewpoints on various topics; for example, one transgender woman discovered that her her assigned other half believed that being transgender was “not right."

Another duo realized they disagreed vehemently on climate change.

Despite their significant differences, each tandem stuck around to talk and work through their opinions – over beer, of course, hence the tie-in to Heineken.

The commercial has been praised by such stars as Sarah Silverman.

It stands in stark contrast to the notorious Pepsi ad because it"s not exploiting a movement such as Black Lives Matter.

Nor is it using real-life conflict between police and citizens as fodder for how Pepsi tastes so great that it can put an end to any kind of tension.

Instead, it"s simply emphasizing the importance of having an open dialogue – and, hey, what better way to have said dialogue than over a bottle of beer?

Watch the ad for yourself and then react. Does this commercial also cross a line? Should companies avoid politics at all costs?

Or does this video manage to walk that fine line in suitable, even admirable, fashion?

Nivea Releases Controversial Ad; The Internet Isn"t Having It

You may have thought that, after seeing the new Pepsi commercial with Kendall Jenner, you"d seen all the unbelievably ridiculous ads the world had to offer this week.

And if you did think that, then you"d be wrong. So very, very wrong.

Nivea, the popular beauty brand known for its lotions and moisturizers, released a new ad targeted at its Middle Eastern customers this week.

And you won"t even believe how bad it is.

The ad pictures a woman facing a window, with the words "White is Purity" along the bottom of the photo.

For real.

The image quickly made its way across all of social media, and pretty much everyone is an agreement: this is a racist garbage ad, intentional or not.

See some of the best reactions below!

1. The Ad Itself

The ad itself

Someone actually thought this was a good idea. Several people, actually. What a world …

2. Yeah, Come On

Yeah come on

Really, this says it all, right?

3. Boycott!

Boycott

Is this company really full of closet racists? It’s hard to say, but it sure is full of questionable choices.

4. The Real Question

The real question

How can so many people be so ignorant?

5. Overt Racism

Overt racism

Like, this is the world we live in …

6. Not the First Time …

Not the first time

Horrifically enough, a few years ago Nivea released that ad on the right, the one that showed a man throwing an actual head, complete with an afro, with the words “Re-Civilize Yourself” and “Look Like You Give a Damn.” How did they not learn?!

Fifth Harmony Taunts Camila Cabello, Releases New Group Photo

New year. New Fifth Harmony.

About a month after the group got rocked by the news that long-time member Camila Cabello was busting out on her own, the four remaining women have made it very clear that they’re ready to move on.

Via Twitter, Ally Brooke, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane and Lauren Jauregui have unveiled a brand new group photo.

They captioned the following image “Twenty Seventeen.” But let’s be honest:

They might as well have captioned it “Eff you, Camila!”

Just look at the expressions on those faces above, with one tongue being stuck nearly all the way out.

In mid-December, Cabello left Fifth Harmony under dubious and controversial circumstances.

The group made it sound as if she took them by complete surprise when she announced her departure, confirming the news in a statement that read:

“After 4 and a half years of being together, we have been informed via her representatives that Camila has decided to leave Fifth Harmony. We wish her well.”

Short and not very sweet, right?

The women were making it very clear that Cabello was not even professional or mature enough to tell her colleagues that she was departing in person.

Or even to do it herself.

The statement continue:

You Harmonizers have been there with us since the beginning, you’ve supported us, and with your love and support, we will continue on.

That being said, we are excited to announce that we will be moving forward with the four of us- Ally Brooke, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane and Lauren Jauregui for our fans.

We are four strong, committed women who will continue with Fifth Harmony as well as our solo endeavors.

We are excited for our future, and we can’t wait for what the new year brings. Harmonizers, we are in this together. We love you with all of our heart.

But the situation then devolved into into a They Said/She Said when Cabello fired back with her own statement.

She said that the group was absolutely aware she was leaving.

“I was shocked to read the statement the Fifth Harmony account posted without my knowing,” Cabello wrote, adding in further detail:

“The girls were aware of my feelings through the long, much needed conversations about the future that we had during tour. Saying they were just informed through my representatives that I was ‘leaving the group’ is simply not true…

“As sad as it is to see this chapter ending this way, I will continue to root them all on as individuals and as a group, I wish nothing but the best for them, all the success in the world and true happiness.”

Cabello then confirmed her plans to go solo in the near future.

Finally, Fifth Harmony did acknowledge that Cabelo had approached them about leaving back in November.

They even said they tried to convince her to stay.

But she never responded in any kind of attentive manner.

“After months of rejection from her and her team, these supposed lengthy conversations in fact never happened, although we pleaded,” the group’s follow-up statement read.

“We have tried with exhausted efforts and hearts to keep this group alive as the five of us, and we want it to be very clear that unfortunately those efforts were not mutual.”

This breakup is making the Brangelina divorce seem amicable.

We look forward to new music from both sides in 2017.

John Legend Releases Inspiring Music Video After Trump"s Win

John Legend is a gift we simply do not deserve.

He’s so classy, and so talented, and he’s got the most beautiful family in Chrissy Teigen and their baby, Luna.

And now we’ve got another little thing to add to his great big pile of wondrousness:

This is John’s music video for his song “Love Me Now,” and if it doesn’t make you cry, then maybe get your tear ducts examined.

At the very least, hop on Google and figure out how to unthaw your cold, cold heart.

The video features footage from the Domiz Refugee Camp in Northern Iraq, the Dominican Republic, Standing Rock Reservation in North Dakota, and Orlando, particularly of couples and children.

There’s also a few scenes showing John with Chrissy, and there’s also Luna in her music video debut.

All those images are enough to cause a mental breakdown, but throw in John’s chorus:

I don’t know who’s gonna kiss you when I’m gone

So I’m gonna love you know, like it’s all I have

I know it’ll kill me when it’s over

I don’t wanna think about it, I want you to love me now

And it’s enough to just break your heart to pieces.

But while John is obviously an emotional guy, he says it was a lucky accident that such a touching video was released the same week we all really needed some uplifting.

Here, check out his incredible message for yourself:

It’s been quite a time for the United States and the rest of the world as we all watched the election results come in early Wednesday morning.

Some of us wept for our country. Some of us celebrated. Some of us are already taking to the streets in protest.

You all know how I wanted and expected the election to go.

I wanted us to choose unity and inclusion over building walls and singling out ethnic and religious groups for hate and suspicion. I wanted us to choose progress over yearning for some long-lost mythical era when America was supposedly greatest.

I wanted us to destroy the highest glass ceiling instead of electing an admitted sexual assaulter. But we did not.

These are the election results and all of us will have to learn to deal with it.

I will not give up though. I will continue to be aware and vigilant. I will continue to speak out for justice.

We didn’t think about the election when we planned the release date for this song and video. But in this time of conflict and uncertainty, it’s clear that we all need more love.

I find it in my family and in my music. Embracing my family has made today full of love and light despite the bad news.

But it’s also important that we show love and empathy to people who may not look like us or live like us. Those who are marginalized and rejected, feared and left behind.

The video premieres Friday and features a diverse group of people from all over the world. From Standing Rock to Iraq, from Orlando to the DR.

Love is universal. We all can give it. And it will ultimately win over hate. I have to believe that.

If you want to join our celebration of love, use the hashtag #lovemenow and send us a picture of you and someone you care about.

Like we said, we really, honestly do not deserve the greatness that is John Legend.

Blac Chyna Releases New Emojis, Appears to WALLOP Kylie Jenner

They say that a picture can say a thousands words.

But what about an emoji?

The creators of that cliche likely never considered such a question, but Internet users around the globe are now wondering what Blac Chyna is trying to say with one of hew new Chymojis.

Yes, we wrote Chymojis

Like future sister-in-law Kim Kardashian, Blac Chyna has come out with her own set of animated icons for your phone and text messages.

Special attention is being paid to one of them, however, as it appears to be feature someone’s hand (Blac Chyna’s?) slapping the stuffing out of someone else…

… someone else with brown hair, impressive eyebrows and very plump lips.

Take a look above and try to tell us this isn’t an emoji of Blac Chyna walloping the heck out of Kylie Jenner.

The model and the reality star have been feuding for months, of course, because Kylie has been dating Tyga, the father of Chyna’s young son.

But Blac and Kylie posted for a photo together last month and claimed on Instagram that they had been friends this entire time.

That seems dubious, but some sort of peace accord appeared to have been reached.

We’ll be interested to see how reality TV’s most famous family responds to Chyna’s latest diss.

Elsewhere on her Chymoji collection, Blac Chyna is having her boobs held by fiance Rob Kardashian:

She’s also Twerking all up on the crotch of her impending baby daddy:

And she also appears to be supporting LGBT rights, which is very cool of her:

But all anyone is talking about at the moment is the first emoji featured above, the one that encourages physical violence against Kylie.

Has Chyna finally taken things a step too far? We know Chris Brown may approve of such an action, but Chyna is about to be a mother.

She now has a responsibility to serve as a role model to her child. And she can start by deleting that icon from her collection.

Justin Timberlake Releases "Can"t Stop The Feeling," And It"s Catchy AF

It was only released on Youtube yesterday, but Justin Timberlake"s new single has already amassed over 320,000 views.

The singer penned what some are declaring this summer"s anthem for Dreamworks Animation"s Trolls, which means children of the 80s (Timberlake include) must dig out their troll collections in celebration.

The Tennessee native has been teasing the song for a couple of weeks, and according to Us Weekly, this is the first time we"ve heard new music from Timberlake since the birth of his son, Silas in April 2015.

Timberlake stars in the movie alongside Anna Kendrick, Gwen Stefani, James Corden, Ron Funches and The Big Bang Theory"s Kunal Nayyar, all of whom took part in the music video.

Timberlake opened the music video in a studio surrounded by family and friends, none of whom can dance, PS.

That"s what makes it so fun, though;  The song is so infectious that you can"t help but dance along to it, blissfully unaware that you don"t have an ounce of rhythm in your body.

The song is upbeat, happy and will likely be recreated by fans via viral video throughout the next few months.  Plus, it kind of makes Timberlake even more adorable because you know he"s thinking about dancing along to the beat with Silas.

"I"ve never slept less and dealt with more poop, and been so excited about it!" Timberlake told People of fatherhood back in November.

Two months before that, Timberlake traded baby stories with pal Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show.

"It is the most insanely amazing, most beautiful, unbelievable thing that can ever happen to you," Timberlake gleefully admitted.

Though he and wife, Jessica Biel are super-private, I"m really hoping for a ten-second clip of Silas bouncing along to dad"s newest single via Instagram.

Trolls opens in theaters November 4th.

Justin timberlake releases new song cant stop the feeling
