Jaclyn Schwartzberg and Ryan Buckley: It"s Over!
Despite the occasional bit of good news from Jamie Otis and Doug Hehner, most of the news about Married at First Sight couples is, well, bad. It goes with the territory.
Jaclyn Schwartzberg and Ryan Buckley’s news is no exception — these two are splitting after less than one year of marriage.
What’s more is that they actually broke up a while ago.
Did you know that Jaclyn and Ryan aren’t even the first Married at First Sight couple to have those names, right down to the spelling?
Well, like Jaclyn Methuen and Ryan Ranellone before them, Us Weekly reports that Jaclyn Schwartzberg and Ryan Buckley have decided to call it quits.
As we mentioned, this apparently isn’t too recent, either.
A source tells Us that this conscious uncoupling actually happened “a while ago.”
The two apparently were waiting for the news to break before confirming it.
But Jaclyn has come out and acknowledged the breakup on Instagram.
Jaclyn writes: “We have split,” confirming the news.
On top of making official, she wants to assure fans of the series that this is for the best.
She writes: “and trust me we are both much happier and healthier this way.”
That is usually the case for divorces. You don’t end a marriage just for fun.
And it’s also no surprise for these two specifically, given that, back in January, viewers saw that even their honeymoon seemed tense and full of conflict.
“Thank you so much for all the love and support,” Jaclyn says.
Jaclyn assures her fans and followers: “We ALL deserve a good love story.”
Sure! If you want one. Plenty of people would prefer to experience a good success story.
Jaclyn affirms that people deserve love “whether you find it in high school, tinder, out dancing, on vacation, or a show.”
“Love is love,” Jaclyn says. “And it certainly doesn’t judge.”
That is very sweet of her to say. Though also in her self-interest, since she got married on a reality show.
Jaclyn referred to the many people whom she met during her journey on Married at First Sight.
“This was a fabulous bunch,” Jaclyn writes.
She enjoyed meeting them all “and I’m always grateful for learning experiences.”
it’s good that she’s walking out of this situation with a positive attitude.
Jaclyn writes that she values learning opportunities, “especially when they involve self growth.”
Marriage to a total stranger would have to qualify, right?

Ryan has not yet responded to the breaking news on Instagram, as of Thursday afternoon, but on the show itself, he more than hinted that he would not be emotionally devastated by a divorce.
And though his his an avid user of Instagram, one has to scroll through a couple of months to find any photos of Jaclyn.
Ryan’s parents, we should note, have been married for about 40 years. So that’s a bit of contrast.
It sounds like this breakup was reasonably amicable, but we’re sure that there are still a lot of complicated feelings. Even though they were total strangers before their wedding.

Ryan Edwards: STILL Cheating on Mackenzie Standifer With Shelby Woods?!
It"s been a little over a year since Ryan Edwards married Mackenzie Standifer, and we probably don"t need to tell you that he hasn"t been the greatest husband in the world during that time.
Ryan has been arrested; he"s had restraining orders issued against him; he"s fallen off the wagon; he"s been verbally abusive to his pregnant wife.
And of course, Ryan has been caught cheating on Mackenzie multiple times.
Edwards has a lengthy history of infidelity, but even the professional baby daddy"s most ardent critics thought he"d stop screwing around after Mackenzie stuck by his side during the year from hell.
Sadly, it seems we all overestimated Ryan …
1. Shelby and Ryan
Shelby Woods briefly dated Ryan in between his relationships with Maci Bookout and Mackenzie Standifer. Now, it looks as though Edwards never quite got over his former flame.
2. Not to Be Trusted
Ryan married Mackenzie just over a year ago. But in that short time, he’s been accused of infidelity on numerous occasions.
3. Tinder Trouble
First, Ryan was caught communicating with other women on Tinder, using an account that falsely stated his age as 25. (He’s actually 30.)
4. Let ‘Em Know
Shortly thereafter, Shelby took to Twitter to let the world know that Ryan was still hitting her up on a regular basis.
5. Hey, Sis
“Sometimes I just wanna be like, ‘Hey sis, your husband is still hitting me up,"” she tweeted on April 15. “Buuuuut then I remember how delusional you are so I don’t waste my time.”

Mackenzie Standifer Debuts Baby Bump ... But Is She Still With Ryan Edwards?!
It’s been two months since news of Ryan Edward’s arrest brought the Teen Mom OG star’s whole world crashing down.
Just one day after news that Ryan had been picked up for a probation violation came reports that he had once again been caught cheating on Mackenzie Standifer, his wife of one year, who is currently pregnant with his girlfriend.
Shortly thereafter, it was revealed that Edwards’ ex, Maci Bookout, had filed for a restraining order after being threatened by Ryan.
Needless to say, all of this hasn’t made for a terribly tranquil pregnancy for poor Mackenzie.
So perhaps it’s not surprising that Ryan’s beleaguered wife has decided to take a hiatus from social media.
But Mack didn’t just delete her account, like most social media stars who have had enough.
No, she wisely realized that an Instagram page with a six-figure following is valuable virtual real estate.
So she gifted the page to her friend, photographer Christian C. George.
And as a reward for not unfollowing him as soon as Mackenzie jumped ship, George offers up the occasional gem, such as the photo above.
That’s the first pic of Mackenzie’s baby bump, posted by George this afternoon.
“When Mack told me about how much her quality of life improved since letting go of social media a couple of months back I didn’t totally understand,” he captioned the pic.
“I see social media as a marketing tool and an additional stream of revenue for influencers. However, what price was she paying? Since I took over Mackenzie’s account- I expected people to unfollow (because after all they didn’t follow me- they followed her).”
George went on to say that he’s learned some lessons from walking a mile in Mackenzie’s shoes:
“What I didn’t expect was the trail of bullying to continue,” he wrote. “These are examples of the messages I’ve received:
“‘You’re f—ng ugly just like Mackenzie, your pictures suck and so do you, you’re trash, why did your ugly face show up on my timeline today.’
“It’s unfortunate that these types of cyber attacks actually exist. I’m choosing to find peace with Jesus, and thanking Him for His Amazing grace and truth!”
Then Christian encouraged you to “learn more about” him, but let’s be honest, that’s not what you came here for.
Anyway, it’s nice to see that Mackenzie is doing well (no word yet on whether she’s still with Ryan), and it’s kind of cool that she discovered such an innovative way to put her old IG account to good use.
Very savvy. Maybe she is the right person to replace Farrah Abraham, after all!

Mackenzie Standifer Quits Social Media, Dumps Ryan Edwards?!
Mackenzie Standifer has put up with an awful lot during her brief marriage to Ryan Edwards.
But now it seems she may have finally become fed up with his many awful tendencies.
Ever since Ryan was arrested back in March, he and Mackenzie have both been laying low on social media.
But now, Standifer has taken things a step further.
She appears to have quit Instagram completely, and some Teen Mom OG fans believe they"ve picked up on subtle signs that she and Ryan are no longer together.
Here"s what we know so far:
1. Happier Times
In the wake of his March arrest for a probation violation, Mackenzie initially stood by her man. Unfortunately, that was just the beginning of Ryan’s downfall.
2. Repeating a Pattern
The day after the arrest, it was revealed that Ryan had been using an online dating profile to try and cheat on Mackenzie. It was not the first time he had done so.
3. It Gets Worse…
That same week, the public learned that Ryan’s ex, Maci Bookout, had been granted a restraining order after revealing that Ryan had threatened to kill her husband.

There was a time when Ryan wasn’t even allowed to make contact with his son, Bentley. A judge has since lifted that order of protection, but Ryan’s vistation rights remain in jeopardy.

If you"re a Teen Mom OG fan, then by now, you"re probably aware that Ryan Edwards has spent the past few months royally effing up just about every aspect of his life.
Ryan has gotten arrested; he"s fallen off the wagon; he"s cheated on his wife; and he"s gone to great lengths to alienate those closest to him.
But for all of his repugnant behavior, perhaps nothing is more appalling than the news that Ryan threatened the life of Maci Bookout"s husband, Taylor McKinney.
Now, it looks as though Ryan will pay for that crime dearly, as Maci has taken steps to protect her family by separating Ryan from that which matters most to him.

Over the past year, Ryan Edwards" struggles with heroin addiction have been well-documented, both on Teen Mom OG and in the tabloid headlines.
There have been brief periods of hope, such as when Edwards checked into rehab shortly after marrying Mackenzie Standifer.
Unfortunately, there"s been more cause for concern than optimism, and the latest news about Ryan certainly doesn"t offer much encouragement.
Despite the fact that any violation of his probation could result in a lengthy prison sentence, it seems Edwards is definitely using again.

Ryan has been trapped in a seemingly never-ending downward spiral in recent months. Last month, he was arrested for a probation violation stemming from a 2017 arrest for heroin possession.

Ryan Reynolds Responds to Blake Lively Unfollow: I"m Very Sad ...
Earlier this week, Blake Lively unfollowed Ryan Reynolds, and it was no accident.
A lot of fans immediately feared the worst for this gorgeous married couple.
Now, Ryan is speaking up … in true Ryan Reynolds fashion.
In an interview with Australian radio show Smallzy Surgery (it’s Australian and a radio show, so of course that’s its name), Ryan acknowledged that, yes, his wife did unfollow him.
“Yes, she did. I’m very sad about that.”
He goes on to share how it feels.
“Definitely stinks. It’s a terrible way to find out that I’ve been kicked out of the house, to be honest.”
As you may have gathered, this response is all tongue-in-cheek, as we’ll explain in a moment.
“Absolutely terrible. I don’t know where rage like that comes from.”
He even suggests what it would be like to explain this situation to their child.
“Mommy unfollowed Daddy on Instagram. My child would just fart and then walk away.”
There’s a reason that he’s in such good humor about this.
Because the unfollowing was nothing personal.
As we mentioned when Blake so famously unfollowed him, she also unfollowed almost everyone. And no, she’s not doing an Instagram purge.
It’s a stunt.
Blake Lively is currently following only 38 accounts on all of Instagram, and each belongs to a woman named Emily Nelson.
Blake Lively is starring as a woman named Emily Nelson in the upcoming film, A Simple Favor.
In the film, Emily goes missing suddenly, leaving a mommy blogger (played by Anna Kendrick) who describes herself as Emily’s best friend guessing about what happened.
This is the sort of film with mystery, twists and turns, and even the appearance of a dead body at some point during the film.
Throughout, Anna Kendrick’s character comes to admit that she did not know Emily as well as she thought that she did.
The teaser trailer dropped on Wednesday, so Blake’s stunt’s timing was not a coincidence.
At present, that teaser trailer is the only post on her Instagram page.
Ryan Reynolds is playing along with the “unfollowed” because he’s goofy and lovable.
It also brings more attention to his wife’s project.
Of course, it just so happens that Ryan has a new movie of his own coming out soon.
Deadpool 2, the much-anticipated sequel of the spectacular first film, follows the fourth wall-shattering adventures of an unkillable pansexual anti-hero named Deadpool.
Marvel and DC have long parodied and copied each other in comics, but Deadpool (originally intended as Marvel’s answer to the DC villain, Deathstroke) has become a truly unique character with a dedicated fanbase.
And Ryan’s own sense of humor meshes extremely well with the character.
We suppose that one of the greatest things about two young, stunning actors being married is that they can support each other’s projects.
Supporting each other is one thing, but using long-standing divorce rumors to promote a film is taking an extra step.
While Ryan’s film is more anticipated and is likely to draw a larger audience, many are intrigued by Blake’s movie.
And you have to admit that this is a great marketing strategy.
After all, how many people might never have even heard about this film, let alone researched it, had it not been for this marketing ploy?
It’s always nice to see social media marketing done well.
And, of course, to see a cooperative husband support his wife’s work.

Blake Lively: Did She Just Confirm She"s Divorcing Ryan Reynolds?
Last month, a rumor that Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively were headed for divorce made its way across the social media landscape.
At the time, the notion seemed somewhat ridiculous.
After all, Reynolds and Lively have long enjoyed a reputation as one of Hollywood’s happiest and most stable couples.
But to shock and chagrin of fans, reports of Blake and Ryan calling it quits just kept rolling in.
“The past few years, Ryan’s been working out of town while Blake stays home with the kids,” a source told Us Weekly.
“The distance between them has taken its toll.”
Reynolds employed his signature sardonic wit to shoot down the first round of reports:
“I wish,” the actor tweeted. “I could use a little ‘me time."”
Fans were relieved, of course, and the controversy was thought to be over and done with.
But earlier this week, Lively’s Instagram followers noticed that something was amiss on her page.
As Radar Online points out, not only had Lively deleted all photos of Reynolds from her page, she had also unfollowed him and changed her bio so that it read simply:
“What happened to Emily?”
Adding fuel to the fire, Lively then followed 28 accounts of women named Emily Nelson.
And like that, Emily Nelson became 2018’s answer to “Becky with the good hair.”
Fans assumed that Reynolds had been caught cheating and that Lively was determined to get to the bottom of his infidelity by hunting Nelson down.
Sadly, this high drama nosedived into a disappointing conclusion today when it was revealed that “Emily Nelson” is merely the name of a character Lively is playing in an upcoming film,
Yes, it was all an elaborate promotional stunt.
Whenever you roll your eyes about something like this, some smart ass always has to chime in with, “Well, I guess it worked! You’re talking about it, aren’t you?!”
Sure. In that sense, it worked.
But apparently the film in question – A Simple Favor – doesn’t open until September!
Does Blake really think this stunt is gonna stick with potential moviegoers for the next four months?!
She’d have to actually divorce Ryan to win our attention for that long.
Ryan Edwards Sentenced For Latest Arrest: Will He Do Time?
Back in March, Ryan Edwards was arrested for a probation violation.
Now, as Teen Mom legal entanglements go, that one might sound pretty minor.
But for Ryan, it’s just the latest in a long line of brushes with the law, and it looks as though police in Edwards’ hometown are determined to make this his very last chance.
According to Radar Online, Edwards appeared in court Monday morning with his long-suffering wife, Mackenzie Standifer,
Photographs of Edwards show him looking ill at ease as he entered the courtroom, and with good reason.
A judge easily could have thrown the book at Edwards and had tossed in jail then and there.
But amazingly, the 30-year-old reality star yet again got off relatively easy.
“Ryan got six months probation and five public work days,” a source close to the situation tells Radar.
“He has random drug tests in between,” the insider adds.
That may sound like a slap on the wrist, but Ryan’s punishment is structured so that if he messes up again, he’s sure to wind up behind bars.
Edwards’ legal woes began when he was arrested for possession of heroin back in March of 2017.
During a routine traffic stop police found 14 syringes and nearly 2 grams of heroin in Edwards’ car.
Edwards got off with a suspended sentence, and not long after he married Mackenzie Standifer in June of last year, Ryan checked into rehab.
Unfortunately, he left treatment early and began using again almost immediately.
Still, those who knew Ryan best were optimistic about his ability to get back on the right track.
In March of 2018, however, Edwards failed a court-ordered drug test, testing positive for opiates.
He was once again taken into police custody, this time as a result of a petition to revoke his probation.
Now, Ryan has had another six months added onto his probation, and his family is said to be deeply concerned about his ability to keep his nose clean.
On top of the criminal penalties he’s suffered, Ryan’s latest arrest is sure to hurt his ongoing custody battle with Maci Bookout.
Currently, Edwards is not allowed to see his son, Bentley, due to allegations that he threatened the boy’s stepfather.
Ryan is currently expecting a child with Mackenzie Standifer, who’s due to deliver a boy in October.

Ryan Edwards is in deep trouble yet again.
The 30-year-old"s legal woes began back in March of 2017 when Edwards was arrested for possession of heroin.
Since then, the troubled Teen Mom 2 star has been trapped in a downward spiral that has family, friends, and fans deeply concerned.
Now, Radar Online is reporting that Ryan tested positive for heroin during one of his court-mandated drug screenings.
It"s a development that could carry major legal repercussions for Edwards, who is reportedly noe coming to terms with the fact that he may be forced to serve time behind bars.

Ryan has been flirting with disaster for at least the past year, but those familiar with his situation say it looks as though he’s finally gone too far this time.

Ryan Edwards: Arrested For Possession of Heroin & 14 Syringes!
Ryan Edwards might be in deep, deep trouble.
We"ve known for several weeks that Edwards was arrested for an unspecified probation violation last month, but now the charges that landed him on probation in the first place have been revealed.
And it seems more likely than ever that the troubled Teen Mom OG star will be unable to avoid jail time.
According to Radar Online, Edwards was arrested last year with a large quantity of heroin and 14 hypodermic needles.
News of these charges comes on the heels of claims by Edwards" wife, Mackenzie Standifer, that Ryan was recently taken into custody simply so he could be booked on previous charges.
Here"s everything we know so far:
1. The Bust
In March of 2017, Ryan was pulled over for an expired tag while driving near his home in Tennessee. One of the officers spotted a hypodermic needle in an open backpack Edwards’ passenger seat.
2. The Report
According to a police report obtained by Radar, the officer inquired about the needle, and Ryan seemed to realize right away that he had been busted.
3. An Upfront Response?!
“I asked Edwards if he had any medical conditions, and he replied, ‘No,"” the arresting officer wrote.
4. Okay, Maybe Not…
“I then asked why he had a hypodermic needle in his backpack, and he replied, ‘I don’t know,"” the officer adds.
5. Big Trouble For Little Ryan
“I told them that the vehicle will be searched and he should inform me if there are more [needles], and Edwards replied, ‘Yes, probably,"” the officer wrote.

The use of the plural pronoun in the report has led many to the conclusion that Mackenzie may have been with Ryan at the time of his arrest. Whatever the case, it seems Standifer might be on her own when she delivers Ryan’s baby in October…

You know how Mackenzie Standifer is pretty much the most hated person on Teen Mom right now?
Yeah, that reunion special didn"t really help things much.
In both the first and second parts of the reunion, Mackenzie came on with Ryan Edwards to talk about his drug addiction and his coparenting relationship with Maci Bookout.
If you watched, then you know Mackenzie did most of the talking while Ryan sat beside her with those wild eyes of his.
They claimed a bunch of different things in their segments, but when you compile all the stories together, one thing becomes clear.
There seems to be a very, very small chance that Ryan is actually clean these days.
1. Lots and Lots of Drugs
As you’ve probably heard, Ryan was dealing with a pretty severe heroin problem last year. He was shooting up, Mackenzie claimed he was spending around $ 10,000 a week on his habit, and at one point last spring he was even arrested.
2. Turning Things Around
But after nodding off while driving himself and his bride to their first wedding, he went off to rehab for a few weeks. Yep, just a few weeks — he checked out early, and after he did, he was seen knocking back beers and badmouthing Maci. Not a great look for someone in his position.
3. It’s All Maci’s Fault
But as soon as Ryan came home from rehab, he and Mackenzie both felt comfortable putting so much blame for everything on Maci. She triggered him into doing heroin, she knew he was doing heroin and didn’t directly discuss it with the people who lived with him and saw him regularly, so basically Ryan’s entire drug problem was her fault. Because that makes sense.
4. … Come On
They slammed Maci for refusing to let Ryan spend time with their son until he was able to pass a drug test, and they even made fun of her for admitting that she’d cried many times over Ryan — because to them, that meant she was still in love with him, not that she was afraid her son’s father could die.
5. Hmmm
Then, leading up to the season finale, Ryan began acting strangely — he seemed depressed about Mackenzie’s pregnancy news, telling her to call him when the kid turned three and even suggesting at one point that they separate for the duration of her pregnancy. He also complained of feeling sick, being very cold, and needing to lie down throughout her ultrasound.
6. Oh, Ryan …
Considering all these things together, many Teen Mom fans became convinced than Ryan had relapsed. He may have been irritable because he’d rather be getting high, he was feeling sick because it had been too long since he’d doone drugs, that kind of thing.
