Leah Messer: So Hurt By Corey Simms, Miranda Patterson Tag-Teaming Her on Teen Mom 2!

Tension between Leah Messer and Corey Simms on the Teen Mom 2 reunion was palpable, and sources say it has not died down since the taping.

The confrontation between Simms, his ex-wife Leah Messer and Miranda Patterson – his current, pregnant wife – was the culmination of a lot of things.

Things that made it awkward to watch Teen Mom 2 online, honestly.

An emotional and dramatic reunion between the three came after a season in which fans saw Leah struggle with a serious mental health disorder.

And/or a prescription drug addiction. It was never explicitly clear.

In any case, the reunion also followed rumors that Corey banged Leah in his truck while meeting to discuss the kids – and while married to Miranda.

“Things happened that shouldn’t have happened and it was disrespectful to Miranda and I have apologized,” Messer admitted on the reunion.

“That’s the only time,” she insists, “that I disrespected her.”

But Simms and Patterson were a united front throughout the episode, and basically used it to blame and sabotage Leah at every opportunity.

An inside source tells Us Weekly of the West Virginia mom:

“She is really hurt by this. She’s not perfect and she knows that but she’s been doing so well, and she loves those kids more than anything.”

“Leah’s considering putting Gracie and Ali into therapy.”

The source also notes that despite her problems, Messer has been unfairly scrutinized and edited, and is trying hard to get her life back on track.

“Leah is doing great. She has actually grown as a person,” the source says. “Leah is not on pills right now. She’s not on drugs. She’s doing so well.”

The source adds that Messer has even gotten support from her second ex-husband Jeremy Calvert, despite what Teen Mom 2 might imply.

“Like Corey and Jeremy would ever set up a time to sit and chat. That’s all production,” the source says. “Jeremy knows she’s a good mom.”

Does he, though? And is she, though? You tell us …
