Justin Bieber has issued a threat to his followers.
And if you want to keep seeing his smiling face or well-chiseled torso online, you’ll listen.
A few days after Bieber and Sofia Richie went public with their romance, the singer has grown very sick and awfully tired of the mean things people are saying online.
On Friday, Bieber and Richie took many photos of themselves in Tokyo.
The artist stopped by that Japanese city for a couple tour dates and spent his free time canoodling with Richie, the 17-year old daughter of Lionel Richie.
Both Bieber and Richie then shared several of these images on their respective Instagram accounts.
Soon afterward, those jealous of the relationship expressed their negative feelings on social media.
And Bieber responded by making two things clear:
1. He really is dating Sofia Richie.
2. If his fans don’t stop talking about his new girlfriend in such ways, he’ll take the ultimate step in order to get away from them.
“I’m gonna make my Instagram private if you guys don’t stop the hate this is getting out of hand,” Bieber captioned a photo of himself with Richie.
“If you guys are really fans you wouldn’t be so mean to people that I like.”
He makes a pretty great point, doesn’t he?
Unless you somehow truly believe you are the one who will end up marrying Justin Bieber, shouldn’t you be happy that the person you like and admire is happy?
This sort of thing has been a problem for years.
Way back in the spring of 2011, Selena Gomez actually received death threats when she started dating Bieber.
Seriously, how insane is that?!?
In this case, Richie and Bieber were first spotted holding hands in California a few weeks ago.
They’ve been nearly inseparable since, with Bieber taking his new squeeze with him all the way to Japan. Things must be serious, huh?
Since hooking up with Bieber, though, Richie’s Instagram comments have been flooded with messages of hate and disdain.
“Jelena forever,” one user wrote, while another added:
“You really f–king suck. You barely know justin and he’s all about you. We’ve been here for 8 yrs & he’s putting US down for your irrelevant hoe ass.”
Wow. Just… wow.
People must chill out.
As we said above, you’re a hypocrite if you like Bieber and yet don’t want him to be happy.
Moreover, if you have an issue (for some reason) with Bieber suddenly being all into Sofia Richie… then isn’t your beef with HIM and not with HER?
In the end, Bieber will either move on from Richie fairly quickly, as he has with a handful of other women since he dated Selena.
Or he’ll end up marrying Richie and living a long, content life with her.
Either way, it’s none of anyone’s business.
