Erica Mena, Love & Hip Hop Star, Arrested for Drug Possession
Erica Mena has been placed under arrest.
The Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta cast member was taken into custody on Friday after police arrived on the scene in response to a domestic dispute.
According to TMZ, Mena and her boyfriend, Clifford Dixon, were both taken away by the cops after an argument got out of hand inside their Johns Creek, Georgia apartment.
Witnesses near the scene told authorities that Mena and Dixon had not only been arguing, but that the latter had kicked in a bedroom door in order to get to the former.
One of Erica and Cliff’s roommates even told police that she/he heard someone get slapped upstairs, although no one actually saw any physical abuse take place.
Cops did not report any signs of an altercation on either party, either.
This is to say, neither Mena nor Dixon had any marks on their bodies at the time of the arrest.
Dixon was arrested for criminal trespass because Mena told cops the property was in her name.
Meanwhile, Erica was arrested for possession of marijuana, despite having less than one ounce of her at the time of the arrest.
She has since made bail.
Mena returned to Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta last season.
Prior to coming on board, she was a staple on Love & Hip Hop: New York.
Other professional ventures for Mena include having written the books “Chronicles of a Confirmed Bachelorette” and “Underneath It All.”
In August of 2017, it was announced that Mena would compete in the first season of VH1’s Scared Famous, which premiered on October 23, 2017.
Mena was previously engaged to Bow Wow and wrote the following upon leaving the New York version of this Love & Hip Hop franchise:

Amy Schumer: Arrested for Protest of Brett Kavanaugh
Amy Schumer did a lot more than just talk the talk in Washington, D.C. on Thursday.
Or yell the yell, as the case may have been.
The comedian, along with a handful of others, got detained and seemingly arrested while protesting the nomination of Brett Kavanaugh for one of nine seats on the U.S. Supreme Court.
In a video that is making its way around the Internet, the 37-year-old is being led by a police officer toward a large group of protestors that were also being held while at the Hart Senate Office Building on Thursday.
“You want to be arrested?” a cops asks Schumer and another woman as he points in the direction of a bigger group that is chanting with officers surrounding them.
“Yes,” she replied.
As you can see below, Schumer was wearing a green button-down shirt that read “This Today then #ERA” while attending the political event.
Emily Ratajkowski was also arrested on Thursday, although we actually are not certain why just yet. Probably for disturbing the peace or trespassing.
The mass protests in the nation’s capital this week were in reaction to the FBI concluding its investigation, which was launched after Dr. Christine Blasey Ford testified last week about her sexual misconduct allegation against Kavanaugh.
Many familiar with the investigation believe it was severely limited in scope, as neither Kavanaugh nor Ford were interviewed by authorities.
Neither were many witnesses who tried to contact the FBI in order to support Kavanaugh’s version of events.
(She alleges that Kavanaugh held her down on a bed and tried to rape her during a small gathering in high school.)
Tweeted Ratajkowski shortly her arrest:
“Men who hurt women can no longer be placed in positions of power.”
It’s seeming more and more likely, however, that such a statement will not hold true in the case of Kavanaugh, who is expected to be confirmed to the highest court in the land this weekend.
Schumer also carried a sign that read throughout her protest that read “We Believe Anita Hill,” a reference to the woman who accused now-Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas of sexual harassment in 1991.
In a Twitter video shared by Young People For, Schumer can be seen giving a speech to those gathered in support of Kavanaugh and sexual assault victims everywhere.
“Let’s stay together, let’s fight. Let’s keep showing up!” the star said to people cheering.
Three women have come out and alleged that Kavanaugh acted in a very inappropriate manner with them, from Ford’s accusation of assault … to another woman claiming he pulled out his penis directly in front of her face… to another woman saying Kavanaugh was present while she was gang raped.
As mentioned above, the protests took place as senators are preparing to submit their votes on Kavanaugh’s confirmation to Supreme Court justice.
An initial vote of the Senate is scheduled for Friday, and a final vote will come over the weekend, according to USA Today and other reliable outlets.

Cardi B: Arrested for Assault!
Cardi B often talks about violence.
Remember the time she threatened to straight up murder Nicki Minaj?
But the artist now finds herself in a potentially huge amount of trouble due to an incident at a New York City strip club on August 29 in which she’s accused of inciting actual violence.
Cardi B turned herself into authorities in the Big Apple on Monday morning and was subsequently arrested and charged with two misdemeanors, assault and reckless endangerment.
She posed for mug shot taken and was fingerprinted; the whole bax of legal wax and everything.
The rapper is scheduled to be arraigned on October 29.
The arrest stems from the allegation that Cardi organized an attack on two bartenders (sisters Jade and Baddie Gi) at Angels Strip Club Queens, an incident during which both women were injured, but refused medical treatment.
So they clearly were not badly injured.
The siblings have a longstanding beef with Cardi because the superstar believes Jade slept with Cardi’s husband, Offset.
(Offset, of course, had three kids prior to getting together with Cardi has admittedly cheated on Cardi as well; so let’s hope she doesn’t start feuds with every woman who has ridden Offset raw. It may take a very long while.)
As The Hollywood Gossip wrote about this summer, Cardi B is accused of ordering members of her entourage to hurl bottles and chairs in the direction of the aforementioned bartenders.
Jade has said that five people close to Cardi also attacked her two weeks prior to this strip club confrontation.
Back in June, meanwhile, Cardi reportedly got in the faces of Jade and Baddie G at a hotel in Atlanta.
A source close to Cardi tells TMZ the attack was “spontaneous” and was triggered after someone threw a drink.
They say nothing was premeditated and that the singer didn’t enter the establishment with an intent on seeking revenge against one of Offset’s previous sexual conquests.
But a lawyer for the alleged victims has said the following of Cardi B:
“She continues to threaten them and clearly thinks her celebrity status is going to get her out of this.
“But it doesn’t matter if her name is Cardi B or Carl B … if she commits violent assaults she will be brought to justice.”
Conversely, Jeff Kern, an attorney for the rapper, said outside a police station in Queens today that he’s “aware of no evidence” that Cardi B “caused anybody any harm.”
The artist just performed at the Global Citizen Festival in New York’s Central Park on Saturday and turned herself in at the Flushing precinct a little before 10 a.m., according to local news outlets.
Her face was covered by several umbrellas as she left a vehicle and walked inside; she did not respond to reporters’ questions.
Cardi notoriously went after Minaj at a New York City Fashion event just under a month ago, as you can see here:
This is a woman who is clearly not afraid to get physical.
And who is apparently triggered by New York City for some reason.

Party Mom Arrested After Leaving 4-Year-Old Home Alone All Night
The world is full of terrible parents, but only a few stories are so outrageous that they get circulated around the globe.
Like the dad who stuffed his son into the trunk of his car, this woman’s story is grabbing people’s attention in the worst way.
This “party mom” left her 4-year-old child home alone for hours so that she could go out and party all night.
Alexandra Ciliento is 29 years old and has a 4-year-old daughter. They live in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Authorities say that she left the house at 11pm on Saturday, leaving her young daughter home alone.
While Ciliento was gone, her daughter managed to escape the home.
What could have ended in tragedy — well, a greater tragedy than this kind of neglect and endangerment — was averted because the girl had the presence of mind to go to a neighbor’s.
The neighbor waited for a full 45 minutes, perhaps hoping that Ciliento had just stepped out and would return. Then, the neighbor called the police.
Police were unable to reach Ciliento until after 8am the following morning, which makes it sounds as though Ciliento was partying until after dawn.
Ciliento admitted to police that she left her apartment and that she did not try to get a babysitter for her 4-year-old.
According to court documents, she “was not aware that her child could open a locked door and leave the residence.”
Ciliento normally shares custody with the child’s father.
At present, the child is with him, and Ciliento has been instructed that she is to have no contact with her daughter for the time being.
She is being charged with one count of child abuse.
Ciliento reportedly works as a pilates instructor and fitness trainer.
“Always do what makes you happy and be kind to others,” she says in her gym profile. “For everyone is fighting some kind of battle “
She also says that, as a child, she wanted to grow up to be President of the United States.
(There are seemingly no qualifications for that job anymore except for the age limit, so who knows?)
The judge appointed a public defender as Ciliento’s attorney to represent her.
Obviously, a huge factor in why this particular story has gone viral is that it reminds so many people of Casey Anthony.
Ciliento, thankfully, did not murder her daughter. And there have been no reports of her binding or drugging her, either.
But leaving a 4-year-old alone for 9 or more hours is a huge risk. Ciliento is a grown adult — she was born in 1988. She should know this.
It is difficult to imagine what sort of excuse she might use to try to justify this. It is almost impossible to imagine any defense being well-received by anyone.
We hope that, whatever happens, the court puts the life and safety of this 4-year-old girl above all other priorities.
