Taylor Swift Delivers NSFW Toast, Gets Booed at Friend"s Wedding
After reaching previously unimaginable heights of popularity following the release of her 1989 album, Taylor Swift has found herself in a bit of a slump as of late.
Part of the problem is that her two latest singles “Look What You Made Me Do” and the confusingly titled “…Ready For It?” have met with less than enthusiastic responses from fans and critics.
Now, Taylor is facing yet another PR headache, but this one has nothing to do with her celebrity feuds or the quality of her music.
That’s Swifty attending the wedding of her best friend, Abigail Anderson.
Fans know Abigail as the subject of Taylor’s song “Fifteen,” as well as the singer’s frequent defender in high-profile beefs.
Obviously, Taylor was Abigail’s maid of honor, and she did her best not to upstage the bride.
Unfortunately, no matter where Taylor Swift goes, she’s still Taylor Swift.
So throngs of fans gathered to catch a glimpse of the singer, and as you can see in the clip above, they were royally pissed when she was hidden from public view.
It was an unfortunate scene, but the silver lining is that there’s also a teachable moment here.
As a celebrity gossip site, we here at THG are no strangers to obsessing over celebrities.
It’s kind of our thing.
That said, it’s important to bear in mind that even the biggest names in show business are entitled to moments of privacy.
And the civilians in their lives definitely have the right to step away from the public eye whenever they choose.
Here’s a good rule of thumb:
If a celeb is engaged in the type of event that would earn a mention in the local paper for a non-famous plebe such as yourself (think births, weddings, funerals), then don’t show up to creepily try to share the moment with them.
It’s not remotely cool.
Of course, Abigail’s wedding wasn’t completely spoiled by overzealous stans.

Ted Cruz: Booed Off Stage at Republican National Convention

… enter Ted Cruz.
The runner-up to Donald Trump in this year’s race for the Republican nomination, Cruz took to the stage on Wednesday night to address thousands in attendance and millions watching at home.
He then proceeded to get booed off said stage after refusing to actually endorse Trump for the Presidency.
“I congratulate Donald Trump on winning the nomination last night,” Cruz said in the beginning of his speech.
“And like each of you, I want to see the principles that our party believes prevail in November.”
This would be the only time during his speech that Cruz said Trump’s name.
Instead of telling individuals why they ought to vote for Trump, Cruz went on about his ideological brand of conservatism, telling folks to not to “stay home in November” and to “stand and speak and vote your conscience.”
Once it became clear he was not going to say anything about the candidate himself, those inside Quicken Loans Arena started to boo Cruz.
And in case THAT wasn’t dramatic enough, Trump actually appeared in the crowd at one point during the speech.
Diverting attention away from his rival, Trump join his family in a VIP area and flashed a thumbs-up while Cruz spoke, a gesture that transmitted obvious anger at the Texas senator’s behavior.
From there, as delegates started to protest, Cruz’s wife, Heidi Cruz, was heckled by Trump supporters who yelled “Goldman Sachs!” at her.
She had to be escorted out by security.
Trump and Cruz, of course, exchanged major insults on the campaign trail for months.
In response to Cruz’s speech, Trump Tweeted a reference to the pledge all GOP candidates signed awhile back, saying they would support the nominee… whoever he ended up being.
“Wow, Ted Cruz got booed off the stage, didn’t honor the pledge!” Trump Tweeted in reply to the craziness, adding:
“I saw his speech two hours early but let him speak anyway. No big deal!”
New Jersey Governlor Chris Christie – a former presidential candidate and now a Trump supporter – slammed Cruz’s speech in an interview with CNN.
“I think it was awful,” Christie said. “And quite frankly, I think it was something selfish. And he signed a pledge. And it’s his job to keep his word.”
Trump attorney Michael Cohen, meanwhile, said on CNN that “the only way to describe it is political suicide.”
Sure, that. But also standing up for one’s moral beliefs as well.
An insider close to Cruz said the Senator didn’t exactly expect to receive a standing ovation.
“He expected people to not approve,” the source said. “Not surprised at the reaction.”
As for Hillary Clinton?
The front-runner’s campaign seized on Cruz’s speech, Tweeting: “Vote your conscience” with a link to her website soon after it ended.
This is all truly remarkable.

Jay Z: BOOED by the Beyhive in Miami?!
In the few days since Beyonce dropped her controversial new album “Lemonade,” one thing has become clear.
Don’t piss off the Beyhive.
In fact, it’s possibly the only thing that’s been made clear.
Well, that and the almost near-certainty that Jay Z cheated on Beyonce, as her lyrics point out repeatedly.
However, since the album’s release, the swarm has been on a wild hunt for “Becky with the good hair,” the woman Jay Z reportedly slept with.
First, they targeted Rachel Roy. Some mistakenly went after Rachel Ray. Then they set their sights on Rita Ora.
But here at THG, we all wondered why they hadn’t gone after the REAL culprit in all this.
Jay-Z himself.
You know, the one who actually took vows and promised to be faithful to his wife, and the only person we KNOW the queen is actually talking about.
Well, it seems the hive now gets it.
The rapper is reportedly getting booed in the streets of Miami, a source tells HollywoodLife.
“Jay Z’s getting an awful reception in Miami that would make even LeBron James feel bad,” the source claims.
“Everywhere HOV goes, people are looking at him with a stank face,” the source continued.
“Hell, even random fans boo him when in public because they think he cheated on Bey. He’s definitely feeling the Miami heat and it’s hotter than the city’s humid hell.”
The man can’t say he didn’t see it coming.
And while we don’t condone bullying, at least the anger is finally being directed and the actual cheater.
But it ain’t no thang to Jay. The “99 Problems” rapper is reportedly A-OK with Bey’s lyrics.
Oh, wait. Maybe he’s pissed.
Whatever. Tomorrow they’ll be divorcing and the next day he’ll be gay.
Like we said, it’s all so unclear.

Caitlyn Jenner: Booed at the 2016 GLAAD Media Awards?
Forgive the obvious pun, but, according to a new report, not everyone was glad to see Caitlyn Jenner at the GLAAD Media Awards.
The I Am Cait star was among those feted at the event – which took place on Saturday night in Beverly Hills – for starring in the most Outstanding Reality Show, taking the stage at one point to deliver a speech in acceptance of the honor.
But Life & Style quotes a source who says Jenner was actually heckled at the ceremony.
“Someone in the audience screamed, ‘Charlatan,’ and another person said, ‘Get the f-ck out of here,"” the insider tells the tabloid.
We cannot confirm or deny this account, but it would not be stunning if true.
While many in the LGBT community salute Jenner for the attention she has brought to their cause, others have taken issue with some of Caitlyn’s comments.
She’s rich. She’s famous. Some critics question whether she has the right to act as if she can truly relate to the struggles of so many gay, lesbian and transgender individuals.
But Jenner was undeterred by any negative reaction she may have received at the GLAAD Media Awards.
“I had never met another trans person. I lived my life in silence. I suffered on my own,” she said in her speech.
“And as so many people in this room have such a difficult time coming out and being your true self and being who you are, it is a long struggle…
“But the last year has been the most rewarding year of my life,.”
Jenner then referenced her E! reality series and the women who have starred in it with her along the way.
“It’s been such a wonderful experience being able to shoot this show,” she added. “We’re trying to make a difference. We’re trying to make the next generation of trans people out there, make it seem more normal.”
There may be missteps along the way, but it’s hard to argue that Caitlyn Jenner is not a net positive for this cause.

Kris Jenner: BOOED by Audience While Introducing Culture Club at Concert
They say haters gonna hate, and boy did they hate HARD on Kris Jenner last night.
But whether you love or hate Kris Jenner, the video below is nothing short of cringe-worthy.
During the iHeart 80s concert at The Forum in Los Angeles, the momager received a loud cacophany of boos and jeers as she was introducing the band Culture Club.
The audible shade started from the moment she took the stage and continued for a full minute until she finally introduced the band and left.
Dressed like vintage Boy George in a black suit, flouncy tie and hat, she made it through her entire speech without a flinch, completely ignoring the room full of disrespect.
At one point you can hear someone on a loudspeaker shout "Hey!" to try and calm the audience down, but it didn"t work.
Now, it"s not exactly a shock to hear that Kris has so many detractors.
After all, she"s responsible for bringing her entire family of over-privileged, annoying and talentless narcissists into the mainstream and making the whole fame-for-no-reason thing an actual, well, thing.
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians puppet master is also very well-known for selling her loved ones out to make a buck.
Truthfully, a lot of citizens have a right to be pissed.
But no matter what you think of Kris Jenner and her money-grubbing ways, you can"t help but feel just a tiny bit bad for her after seeing this video. She is, after all, a human being, and anyone with a lick of compassion could sense her pain.
She ended her speech by shouting "Woo!" which in her head probably sounded something more like, "OMFG get me off this motherf**king stage and pour me a bottle of Xanax."

Farrah Abraham: Evicted, BOOED on Celebrity Big Brother!
Farrah Abraham has been evicted from the UK"s Celebrity Big Brother, bringing an end to a surprisingly long, entertaining run this summer.
She went out with a bang, at least, and a chorus of boos.
The UK audience"s reaction when she left the premises and entered the studio right outside the door to the Big Brother house? Hilarious.
If you missed Farrah exposing her awfulness to an entire new continent over the past few weeks, perhaps the boos weren"t a huge shock.
After all, the 23-year-old Backdoor Teen Mom …
- Physically attacked one of her co-stars;
- Threatened to KILL the entire cast;
- Dry-humped Jenna Jameson;
- Simply acted like Farrah.
You get the gist. When she wasn"t declaring herself better than Kim Kardashian, she was causing one conflict after another in the house.
Of course, if you"re watching Big Brother or its Celebrity counterpart, the unhinged villain is a big part of what makes you tune in, right?
Exactly. So boo away, but do it with admiration.
