Lala Kent: Jennifer Lawrence Called Me a C-nt, So Now I Have to Kick Her Ass!
If you’ve been watching Vanderpump Rules this season, you know that Lala Kent’s attempted transition into the show’s resident woke bae has yielded mixed results.
While it’s nice to see Kent rallying the women of the cast under the banner of feminist solidarity, we can’t help but cringe when a white woman from Utah adopts a thick blaccent to address a roomful of POCs as “my bruthaaaas.”
(And don’t get us started on her continued support for James Kennedy’s abusive behavior toward women.)
Unfortunately for Lala, it seems we’re not the only ones who have picked up on her glaring lack of authenticity.
Jennifer Lawrence appeared on Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live last week, and she assessed Kent’s contradictory behavior and tendency to flip-flop in a brutally frank way:
“I’m like, ‘Bitch, you’s a c–t!” Lawrence told Cohen when asked about Lala.
Now, it’s easy to forget – particularly when you’re watching a show as endlessly melodramatic as Vanderpump – that the people on screen are real-world human beings and not soap opera characters.
And it’s not surprising that Kent was taken aback by Lawrence’s take of her TV persona:
“Did Jennifer Lawrence really call me a ‘c–t’ on @bravowwhl? Annnnnd talk about my mama? Bitch, you better pray I don’t see you in the streets,” Kent tweeted.
“You’re one of the highest paid actresses on the planet…you claim you are pro-women and you call another woman a c–t? You’re gross,” she added.
Kent went on to congratulate Lawrence on “two bombed movies in a row.”
Lala promptly deleted the tweets, but as she revealed in a recent podcast interview, she did so not out of remorse, but in response to a stern warning from her manager:
“I did a three-peat: I did one tweet, delete, two tweet, delete, three tweet, delete. My manager called me and said, ‘Lala, what are you doing?"” Kent said.
“She goes, ‘You either delete the tweet or you delete my info for the next 24 hours ‘cause I’m not trying to deal,"” she added.
“So, I deleted it.”
Lala went on to argue that Lawrence’s behavior would be better suited to a SUR girl than an Oscar-winner:
“The thing is, no one wants to be called the c-word, especially by an A-list celebrity on national television. I was such a huge fan of hers, and it bummed me out,” Kent remarked.
“I thought that she had a little more class than that. You know, let’s leave the trash to people like me who do reality TV,” she said. “Don’t try to steal my thunder, girlfriend!”
Well, the threat of violence may have been out of line, but Lala is actually coming off as the more level-headed party here.
No word on whether or not Lawrence has apologized, but she may want to reflect on the fact that she managed to make a member of the VPR cast look rational by comparison.

Mario Singer & Kasey Dexter: Cops Called After Cheating Allegations, Fight
We all know that Romana Singer is New York’s biggest pot-stirer. She’s not afraid of a little trouble or confrontation.
But her ex, Mario Singer, is currently having a whole host of problems in his personal life, and Ramona isn’t to blame.
Mario left Ramona for his mistress, Kasey Dexter, and it is not working out. In fact, it’s apparently so bad that the police were called.
According to a police report obtained by RadarOnline, police were called when Mario Singer and Kasey Dexter got into an explosive argument.
“Singer advised that he got into a verbal altercation with his live-in girlfriend,” the responding officer wrote.
See, the context is that Mario issued an eviction notice to Kasey upon discovering that she had allegedly cheated (via spy camera!).
“Mario stated since the [eviction] notice, [Kasey] has been acting erratic and belligerent.”
Technically, eviction isn’t always something that happens between traditional landlords and tenants, but it sounds like this was more of a squabble.
“Mario further stated he was worried that the altercation could become physical.”
The officer spoke to Kasey, who was apparently very worked up over the situation.
“Several times during my interaction with [Kasey] I had to tell her to calm down and let me speak.”
It’s not always easy to transition from a heated argument to a calm report.
“[Kasey] remained uncooperative during my investigation.”
If Mario wanted a girlfriend who was more mature, perhaps he shouldn’t have cheated on Ramona with a woman 30 years younger and then run off with her.
Kasey apparently did divulge some personal information to the officer.
Including revealing that a major point of contention was “her infidelity within the relationship.”
The good news is that the officer confirms that the altercation did not become physical.
If a couple yells at each other, their relationship is probably toxic and they should likely break up.
But if there is physical violence — and it has been alleged that Mario has been so violent in the past that it resulted in Kasey getting a fractured hand — that’s much more serious.
All the same, the officer requested that Mario spend the night at a friend’s house.
We wouldn’t quite say that Ramona got the last laugh, but it is notable that Mario’s relationship that began with cheating has now run aground due to … you guessed it, alleged cheating.
RadarOnline‘s source confirms that Kasey stepped out on Mario.
“She did cheat on him. She felt so alone in the relationship.”
And, as the insider reveals more, it sounds like this relationship was doomed from the start.
“She wanted to get married and have children, but he told her, ‘Don’t ruin your body."”
If you want different things in life and have totally different priorities, you might not make the happiest couple.
It also sounds like he wasn’t honest with her.
“He would tell her they would travel everywhere, but he gave her false promises.”
That is a story that we’ve all heard in countless tales of affairs that started full of hope and romance and ended full of bitterness.
Though the reports of past abuse between Mario and Kasey are alarming, perhaps their toxic relationship is finally at an end.
Ramona may take some satisfaction from this knowledge. She’s no stranger to schadenfreude.

Tom Schwartz to Scheana Marie: Sorry I Got Drunk & Called You a Kardashian!
Tom Schwartz is inarguably the least confrontational member of the Vanderpump Rules cast.
He really only fights with his wife, Katie Maloney, and only then when he’s full of liquor, or she’s telling the entire world that his penis doesn’t function properly.
So viewers were stunned when Tom went on the offensive against Scheana during a boozy gathering of SUR staffers.
It all started when Scheana went off on Katie for continuing to claim that spread rumors about Robert Valletta cheating on her.
When Scheana called Katie fake, Schwartz jumped in with what was actually a pretty solid burn, especially coming from such a mild-mannered dude:
“Scheana, look at your nails! You’re the fakest person in this whole building!” he slurred.
“You’re fake from head to toe. You have no personality. You’re nothing! You’re a bootleg Kardashian. All you care about is a f-cking selfie.”
“Bootleg Kardashian” cuts pretty deep, as the ladies of Vanderpump have been accused of thinking they’re on the Kardashians level.
They’re not, of course – even though their show is far more entertaining – so it probably stung to be reminded of that during filming.
Tom was applauded for sticking up for his wife, but many thought he was too hard on Scheana.
Not surprisingly, Schwartz returned to his soft-spoken, retiring self when he sobered up the next morning.
Appearing on Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live this week, Tom was asked if he regretted going off on Scheana, and he admitted that there was some serious morning-after remorse.
“In the moment, I didn’t, but the day after, I felt terrible. Like I said before, I’m so sorry, Scheana,” he told the caller.
“Can I just say, I’ve never exercised that muscle,” Tom elaborated.
“It felt good in the moment, but I felt so bad the next morning,” Tom told Andy Cohen alongside wife Katie Maloney, who he was sticking up for during a recent SURver scuffle.”
Clearly trying to make amends, Schwartz concluded:
“Scheana, I love you. I hope you have an empire just like them, and I’m sorry I said that shit.”
Not quite as scandalous as Jax cheating on Brittany, but seeing Tom’s aggressive made for one of the season’s most surprising moments.
Which is saying something, as this season has been loaded with stunners.

Alexa Ray Joel: Christie Brinkley Daughter Claps Back When Called "Hideous" by Troll!
We don’t know what kind of bitter troll feels a need to leave nasty comments that compare the beauty of sisters, but one Instagram user did just that.
Their rude post compared Christie Brinkley’s oldest daughter, Alexa Ray Joel, to her 19-year-old daughter, Sailor Brinkley Cook. The troll used the opportunity to bash Alexa’s looks.
Alexa, unafraid to clap back at haters, gave a response so strong that the troll deleted his comment and ran for the hills. Metaphorically speaking.
Christie Brinkley and her daughters are sizzling hot. That shouldn’t really be up for debate. It’s barely subjective.
Nonetheless, some guy out there thinks that Alexa Ray Joel, (Christie’s daughter with Billy Joel), is unattractive.
At this point, you must be worried that this person has some sort of visual impairment. We wondered the same thing.
But no, this person was able to appreciate the gorgeous looks of Alexa’s younger sister, Sailor Brinkley Cook.
And he said as much after proud, gorgeous mom Christie Brinkley shared a behind-the-scenes look at Sailor’s photoshoot.
She’s stunning, right?
We can understand the natural human instinct to rank things. (I love making lists, even if it’s hard to choose a favorite movie, a favorite video game, a favorite Brinkley daughter)
What we can’t understand is why someone would use this as an opportunity to bash Alexa.
Specifically, why anyone would feel the need to straight-up post their negativity. Maybe some people just feel powerful if they hurt a famous person’s feelings.
Some dude decided to describe Alexa as “hideous” in a now-deleted comment.
Alexa’s epic clapback, however, is still standing.
“Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, Mr. Big Shot.”
Them’s fightin’ words, as they say.
“You may think I’m hideous, but I like the way I look.”
To be clear, most people like the way that Alexa looks.
Then her retort continues:
“And that’s really all the matters.”
She’s right — her own self-image matters more than what others think.
“(Besides, there’s a lot more to people than just what they look like.)”
And then, well, Alexa tells it like it is.
“But hey, continue being a shallow, hateful troll in life and see where it gets you!”
Quite frankly, this dude shouldn’t be surprised that she saw it and replied.
First of all, he probably wouldn’t have posted something so obviously inflammatory (and hyperbolic — he called her hideous?!) if he didn’t want to get a rise out of someone. Out of either Alexa herself or another fan.
Second of all, Alexa is not shy about discourse in Instagram comments. Seriously, and you can look at her page for yourself, she’ll talk politics with absolutely anyone.
(For the record, she mostly hopes for conciliatory politicians to make decisions for everyone; she talks about wanting things like Wall Street held accountable when they do wrong but also valuing prosperity. So her views definitely aren’t extreme)
Trolling is all good and well until you meet someone who won’t back down and whose fans will absolutely tear you to shreds.
And, again — though it’s not really the point of this whole thing — Alexa Ray Joel is absolutely gorgeous.

Kailyn Lowry: Briana DeJesus Called Me a Dumb B-tch!
Kailyn Lowry and Briana DeJesus aren’t fans of one another.
There are several reasons for this, but the primary cause of their mutual dislike is Javi Marroquin.
Briana dated Javi for several months, and Kail was understandably less than thrilled with the fact that her ex-husband and her rival were romantically involved.
Yes, Briana and Kailyn were feuding before DeJesus began dating Marroquin, but the relationship made the hostility between them that much more intense.
Earlier this month, Javi and Briana broke up, but that doesn’t mean all is well between DeJesus and Lowry.
Yesterday, Javi appeared on Kailyn’s Coffee Convos podcast to discuss the breakup.
Things got off to a rough start, with Javi basically admitting he’d like to get back together with Briana:
“There is a lot we have to discuss and talk about before we make other decisions,” Javi told Kail at the start of the show.
“There is nothing juicy to spill,” he added.
From there, Kailyn accused Javi of becoming a “different person” due to his relationship with Briana:
“That doesn’t mean you lose respect for me because at the end of the day, I’m the one who’s raising your son.”
Javi shot back that he had actually believed Briana and Kailyn would get along, and hoped that they could find common ground.
“Briana isn’t what she portrays on TV,” he insisted.
“She’s different. I’m not going to preach about how good of a person she is.”
“Telling the mother of your child to suck her d-ck and I’m a dumb b-tch doesn’t portray her as a good person,” Kail replied.
Undeterred, Javi continued defending Bri, saying that he wishes DeJesus and Lowry “could just have a conversation.”
We’re thinking they’re a little past that point, Javi.
“I don’t know what my future holds with Bri, but if we do get back together we can all get along, ” Marroquin said.
Not surprisingly, Kail wasn’t having it:
“We will never get along,” Kail stated bluntly.
“You allowed her to disrespect me to my face. She was allowed to tell me to suck her d-ck, and I wasn’t allowed to say anything to her.”
Lowry added:
“Pigs will fly when that girl apologizes to me.”
We think Javi is chasing a pipe dream on this one, but it doesn’t seem like he’ll be giving up the cause anytime soon.

Kris Jenner Called "Chubby;" Kim Kardashian Lashes Out!
Kris Jenner is the momager of a media empire. She’s a beloved (and feared) figure in her own right. Also, Kris Jenner is about to get so many new grandbabies.
Kris can and does absolutely speak for herself. But that doesn’t mean that her family doesn’t speak up for her.
But when Kim tweeted a defense of her momager after someone called Kris chubby, Kim ended up in hot water with some Twitter users.
Before we get into Kim’s outrage and the various responses, let’s look at how this all started:
The Daily Mail took a look at the ghost of Kris Jenner’s past — that is, of Kris before Keeping Up With The Kardashians and before Caitlyn Jenner and even before she met Robert Kardashian.
Their very first bullet point reads:
“Before she turned momager and reality TV star, Kris Jenner was a chubby-faced store clerk and a junior flight attendant.”
That’s … a very loaded line. Kim Kardashian certainly thinks so.
Kim Kardashian took offense at the description of her mother’s younger self.
Kim tweeted a link to the article (a surefire way to make sure that as many people read it as possible), and wrote:
“Chubby really? That’s the headline? How about beautiful, youthful, stunning?!?!”
While we can understand (and applaud) a natural disposition that she be defensive of her mother, Kim’s response proved to be controversial.
Would you care to guess why?
Some tweets, of course, immediately agreed with Kim that it was an outrage for her mother to be described like that.
Others took a different view, writing:
“Chubby is not a bad thing!!!”
A lot of tweets shared that sentiment, and they’re absolutely right. In fact, many people lovingly describe their “chubby girlfriends,” though many opt for less polarizing words like “soft.”
Others pointed out that it was still fine for Kim to be unhappy.
Replying to the (correct) assertion that that “chubby” isn’t a bad thing, someone tweeted:
“Yes, it isn’t. But there are so many more words to describe Kris & they chose to target weight specifically rather than something else. Chubbiness is not bad :)”
Another wrote:
“It’s a term you have to be careful with. Definitely not the best term to come up with.”
And another really saw eye-to-eye with Kim:
“I’d be so upset if someone described my momma like that in a headline! Go Kim!”
Ultimately, though, the people who saw Kim’s tweet as relatable, the people who saw Kim’s tweet as fat-shaming, and Kim herself may have all been missing the point.
The Daily Mail described Kris’ younger self as chubby-faced.
While potentially inflammatory, “chubby-faced” is a description often given to photos of people when they were children. And while Kris was 22, and not a child, they may have been highlighting her youth.
But not all chubby people are okay with the word, just as not all fat people are okay with that word. And you know what? Kris’ face aside, she is and was neither.
At the time in Kris’ life that The Daily Mail describes, she looked — more than anything — like Kourtney Kardashian. Their faces are so similar that a time-traveling Kris Jenner could probably unlock Kourtney’s phone.

Selena Gomez, 13 Reasons Why SLAMMED, Called "Sick" by Grieving Father
As you know, 13 Reasons Why has been renewed for a second season, even though the Netflix series is incredibly controversial for its graphic portrayal of suicide.
Well, the father of a girl who took her own life immediately after watching the first season is railing against Netflix — and against Selena Gomez.
His distress is understandable, but calling Selena Gomez “sick” and “disturbed” is … well, that might be going a little too far.
Before we get into the father’s controversial comments, here’s a little very important background on why 13 Reasons Why is controversial.
There are graphic depictions of upsetting material like suicide and sexual assault.
Now, that doesn’t mean that 13 Reasons Why necessarily glorifies suicide. Some feel that it does, others feel that it shows the damage done by taking your own life and the grief that it causes.
However, there are certain things to do and to not do when you’re telling a story about suicide.
Namely, don’t highlight the method for it. Don’t provide step-by-step instructions on screen. Don’t include graphic depictions of suicide or self-harm.
If you’re thinking that you wouldn’t see such things and suddenly feel the urge to follow in a suicidal character’s footsteps, well, congratulations. I wouldn’t either. I can also eat peanuts with impunity, but some people can’t be in the room with peanuts or they’ll literally die.
But people who do experience suicidal ideation and are plagued by thoughts of suicide — because, folks, suicidal depression is an illness — are vulnerable to these images and messages.
Parents and school officials have been alarmed by what they describe as an increase in self-harming behavior and suicide attempts — and, in the saddest cases, successful suicides — which they believe are directly related to 13 Reasons Why.
Selena Gomez is an executive producers of 13 Reasons Why. She’s one of seven executive producers, which does not make her some sort of autocrat who controls the series, but she’s definitely the most famous name attached to the show.
John Herndon is a father who discovered his 15-year-old daughter hanging in her closet after apparently having binged 13 Reasons Why. Though Bella was rushed to the hospital, she died 10 days later.
And Selena Gomez’s famous name and famed compassion … well, they’re probably why John Herndon is calling her out in his statement to RadarOnline. And he’s not mincing words, either.
“I’m still completely disgusted. Selena makes me sick.”
Though we can only imagine Herndon’s level of grief, that’s a very strong statement.
“She is an extremely disturbed individual to think that this show has any kind of redeeming social value at all.”
Clearly, she signed onto this project with the best of intentions.
Despite Herndon’s anger, he shows that he understands what suicidal teens are experiencing. But not everyone does.
“Remember that there are teens out there that are in a little darker place and these could be your friends, your sisters.”
And he worries that the intended messages in 13 Reasons Why might be misintepreted.
“Selena Gomez and Netflix need to understand that not everybody’s going to understand this very well.”
He goes on to explain exactly what can happen when someone struggling with suicidal depression witnesses a show that handles the subject this poorly.
“Some people who are battling with depression, this could catch them at the wrong time, creating what is called the trigger event.”
For someone with PTSD, exposure to harmful content would be unpleasant or even awful. For someone with suicidal depression, it could be lethal.
Herndon talks about having written to Selena more than once … on her website.
“I asked that she remove her support and get Netflix to stop,” Herndon complains. “I received no response.”
Well, yeah. Selena Gomez doesn’t personally monitor her website. Honestly I forgot that she even has one. This isn’t 1996. Also, in 1996, Selena was 4.
He’s also calling out Netflix.
“They made those decisions to make themselves look like a socially responsible company yet they are making a product about people who are hurt and how they can hurt themselves.”
We’re sure that the intentions behind the series were just the opposite.
“I’ve seen too many posts by the creators who indignantly say it’s helped more people than it’s hurt.”
Sometimes people double down instead of admitting that they’re wrong. Perhaps this is one of those situations.
“How many people have to be hurt before somebody aside from me stands up and says, ‘You know, this is wrong.’”
Please remember, folks, that Selena Gomez’s involvement does not amount to creative control. And that just because you send her a message does not mean that she’s received it.
It also does not mean that she could somehow outvote her six fellow executive producers or seize the reigns of the series itself.
We have to imagine that part of the appeal for Selena was because she wanted a series that could help young people understand and deal with upsetting issues. And she may have, given her health struggles with Lupus, have been preoccupied with death itself.
We do think that the producers care about the series and the effect that it has. We don’t — can’t — know if 13 Reasons Why has actually claimed the lives of anyone, or if it only changed the time of their death or impacted the method.
All that we really know is that we’re so sorry for John Herndon’s loss. And that insulting Selena Gomez might get attention, but it’s not the way to effect positive change.
