Taylor Swift to Meghan Markle: Pleeeasseee Join My Squad!
Will she or won’t she?
That’s the question now dogging Meghan Markle wherever she goes.
In relation to the actress accepting a wedding proposal from handsome boyfriend Prince Harry?
What? No?!?
In relation to Taylor Swift asking Markle an even more important question.
According to anonymous OK! Weekly sources, the singer is planning to befriend the Suits star and see if she’s willing to help Swift rebuild her infamous Squad.
As fans have likely noticed of late, Taylor hasn’t just been absent from the red carpet scene or the concert scene or the awards show scene over the past several weeks.
She hasn’t been filling up her Instagram feed with photos of herself and any members of her typically-viral clique, either, such as Selena Gomez, Bella Hadid or Lorde.
“Taylor’s team has reached out to Meghan requesting a girly lunch,” the tabloid alleges, hilariously adding:
“Taylor’s determined to include her in her inner circle and is willing to fly to Canada to meet up with her if necessary.”
Oh, yes. ALL the way to Canada! You know Swift is serious in that case!
Swift’s squad is more depleted these days than the roster of the New York Jets, whose outlook for 2017 is so dire than many fans are lamenting the loss of terrible quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick.
With no salary cap restraining her friendships, however, it’s unclear what has caused Swift’s Squad to splinter in such epic fashion.
Although it was dealt a severe blow when Gomez started dating Hadid’s ex, The Weeknd, causing major tension between two of Swift’s best friends.
But that at least means there’s an opening for the type of person to join on whom Taylor has kept a close eye for years.
“Taylor’s always wanted to crack the aristocratic set and is trying to reconnect with Ed Sheeran, who’s in with the Royal Family,” the OK! source explains.
“She’s met Prince William in the past, but befriending Meghan is her top priority.”
By the end of this year, we may have a new Taylor Swift album on our hands.
When the artist is not begging and pleading with Markle to meet her for a meal, she’s allegedly been holed up in a studio, cranking out fresh tracks.
We can’t wait to hear them, but we really can’t wait to see whether or not Markle joins up with Swift in the near future.
In the end, if may come down to a decision for Markle:
Does she marry Harry and join The Royal Family?
Or does she pretend to be tight with Swift in order to pose for pictures that she can caption with the hashtag #SquadGoals?

Mike Pence to Run with Donald Trump, Join GOP Ticket as Vice Presidential Nominee
Indiana Gov. Mike Pence will be announced as presidential candidate Donald Trump’s running mate on the Republican ticket in the 2016 election.
The Indianapolis Star has confirmed that Trump plans to announce Pence as his pick for vice president, ending a weeks-long process.
Pence will drop his bid for re-election in Indiana to run with Trump, whose spokeswoman, Hope Hicks, says “a decision has not been made.”
A formal announcement is scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday in Manhattan, and while Trump could pull a fast one, all signs point to Pence.
With the addition of the governor, a social conservative with state house and Congressional experience, Trump hopes to shore up his base.
Pence also provides an experienced, at times more credible and almost certainly more disciplined counter to Trump’s unusual style.
The Republican National Convention, which starts July 18 in Cleveland, will formally nominate Trump and Pence for President and V.P.
Pence, a vocal Trump supporter since he clinched the Republican nomination, will help him take on Democrat Hillary Clinton in November.
Trump appeared to have winnowed the field of vice presidential picks from about 10 people as recently as last week to a select few.
Some likened the audition process to reality show casting, but in the end, the star of the show picked a substantive, non-flashy “apprentice.”
Aside from Pence, the other favorites were thought to be former House Speaker Newt Gingrich and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie.
A couple of prospective running mates, U.S. Sens. Bob Corker of Tennessee and Joni Ernst of Iowa, withdrew their names from consideration.
Ernst said she was focused on serving in the Senate but suggested Pence, a longtime favorite among conservatives, should get the nod.
Looks like The Donald listened. Will it matter?
Polls suggest Clinton leads nationally over the mercurial real estate mogul, but that her margin has narrowed in the previous week or so.
State polls also show her with a tangible, albeit diminishing, advantage in what will ultimately determine the electoral college majority.
Clinton has yet to name her V.P. running mate.
The extent to which Vice Presidential nominees, on either site, will influence voters is hard to define at best, and negligible at worst.
With Pence, however, Trump signals that he is shoring up his lack of political experience and his unpredictable style with a steady hand.
Combine those two factors with Pence’s popularity among a Republican base that is still resistant to Trump, and it seems like a logical pick.

Ariana Grande Really Wants to Join Taylor Swift"s Squad
Ariana Grande may hate donuts and hate America.
But she clearly has a soft spot for Taylor Swift.
In a radio interview this week with United Kingdom station Capital FM, the singer made it clear she’d be “so down” to join Swift’s world famous squad.
If she were to be asked, that is.
“Oh wow! That would be so crazy,” the 22-year old said, later quipping: “Do you have to do anything weird to get in?”
She was joking, but there has been talk of strict rules for becoming friends with Swift.
This is quite the different reaction than Chloe Mortez recently had when asked about Swift’s group of friends.
Mortez actually said she was asked to become a part of the club, but dismissed it as an exclusive clique.
Swift’s ever-growing roster of celebrity gal pals includes:
- Selena Gomez
- Karlie Kloss
- Cara Delevingne
- Martha Hunt
- Lily Aldridge
- Gigi Hadid
- Ellie Goulding
- Serayah
- Hailee Steinfel
- Lena Dunham
- Lorde
- Jaime King
They have attended red carpet events as a group in the past and often party together on occasions such as July 4.
Grande and Swift, meanwhile, appeared on stage together at the 2014 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, after which Swift shared the above photo on Instagram and gushed that Ariana “couldn’t be cuter.”
In 2015, Grande also Tweeted her desire to live in a world where people are “valued” not by who they are dating, but by who they are “as an individual.”
Swift responded to this feminist stance by saying she was “so proud” of Grande.
It sounds to us like Ariana had an open invitation to join Swift’s squad. She just has to walk in.
