Taylor Swift Tried, Failed to Keep Joe Alwyn Relationship a Secret
Taylor Swift is pissed.
We don’t mean that she’s angry about the new Katy Perry diss track directed at her (although that’s almost certainly the case).
No, we’re talking about Taylor’s outrage over the whole finding out about her new relationship.
As you may have heard, Taylor is dating Joe Alwyn.
Alwyn is an actor, but he’s not super famous like her like every single one of her previous beaus.
Many have taken Alwyn’s status as a relative unknown as a positive indication that Taylor has learned from her past relationships.
Another good sign?
Whereas Taylor stopped just short of taking out an ad in Variety to announce her previous romances, she tried to keep her relationship with Alwyn on the down-low.
Unfortunately, as she has no experience with doing anything low-key, she’s not very good at it, and the press found out about Joe almost immediately.
“Taylor went to great lengths to keep their relationship private and out of the spotlight while [she and Alwyn] have been getting to know one another,” an insider tells E! News.
“She has made several trips to see him, but always flies in and out on a private jet with lots of security and has been flying into very small and remote airports.”
Yep, Taylor was probably out there meeting dude on foggy runways in a trench coat with the collar turned up.
We’re guessing tt was like something straight out of Casablanca, and … dammit, we just gave her the concept for her next video, didn’t we?
Anyway, the source claims that Taylor even had a Plan B in place for times when the press started wondering why she was spending so much time in London:
“If she was seen in England, she made sure everyone thought it was a work trip,” the insider claims.
“Taylor and Joe have really tried to be on lockdown and have spent most of their time together in private locations where they could get to know each other without the pressure of a public relationship and people making judgment calls.”
The source adds that Taylor was initially “bummed” that the word got out about her relationship, but now she sees an upside:
“At the same time, she is really excited about being with Joe and is hoping she can relax a little bit more now and just enjoy being with him,” the tipster says.
Well, that’s Taylor Swift for you.
When it comes to her relationships, she’s just a laid back gal who likes to go with the flow.
Just kidding, she probably broke up with Joe 14 times this afternoon.

Maci Bookout: Why Did She Keep Ryan Edwards" Engagement a Secret From Her Son?
Teen Mom: OG viewers were treated to a double dose this week, as MTV hit fans with new episodes on consecutive nights.
On Sunday night, fans finally got to see Ryan Edwards propose to Mackenzie Standifer.
On last night’s episode, we got to see Maci Bookout’s reaction to the news that her baby daddy is soon to be married.
Obviously, the Teen Mom franchise thrives on drama, but Maci decided to go off-brand by expressing genuine happiness for her ex and his new fiancee.
It was a refreshing change of pace for a series that’s historically been lacking in anything resembling emotional maturity.
Could it be that these moms and dads are starting to grow up now that their kids are old enough to recognize crazy behavior?
That may be true for the most part, but Farrah will always be Farrah, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
Anyway, Maci received a lot of praise for her level-headed reaction to the news, but many wondered why she kept her ex’s engagement a secret from her son and Edwards’ Bentley:
Maci addressed that question (and explained her love for Mackenzie) in a recent interview:
“[Mackenzie] called me and told me, and Bentley was going to their house the next day,” Maci told MTV News.
“And she was super-excited when she called me. She told me not to tell Bentley because they planned to tell him in person the next day. It was a tough secret to keep because I wanted to be excited with him, but obviously, it wasn’t my place to tell him.”
Maci has nothing but kind words for her ex’s wife-to-be:
“They genuinely care about each other,” she explained. “They have a very healthy relationship.”
Maci went on to say:
“I think she’s very understanding and supportive of him — she’s a really good friend to him, but she also has enough of a ‘I’m not going to put up with your s**t attitude.’ It’s the perfect balance for what Ryan needs in a partner.”
With a laugh, she added, “I like her, so it has to be easier on him.”
Could we be on the verge of two Teen Mom couples successfully so-parenting?!

Duggar Girls Offer Dating Tips, Want You to Keep Your Legs Closed
The women of the Duggar clan are known for two things:
Chastity and making babies.
Those may seem like reputations that run counter to one another, but for the Duggar gals, they go hand-in-hand.
Their lady parts pass from custody of God/Jim Bob to God/their husbands, and at no point are they permitted to make any decisions about their own sex lives.
It’s gross and weird as hell, but the Duggars say it works for them.
For better or worse, these are women so chaste that Mike Pence could sit down to dinner with one of them and not feel the need to lash himself with a cat o’ nine tails afterward.
So it’s not surprising that when the Duggar gals were asked to offer up relationship advice in a recent interview with Crown of Beauty (?!) magazine, their number one tip was to leave some room for the holy spirit.
“Since we began our relationship, Jeremy and I have learned that when we are walking closely with Jesus, we are closest to each other,” the newly-married Jinger Duggar told the publication (which can’t be a real magazine, right? Like, no one’s getting issues of something called Crown of Beauty delivered to their home, are they?)
Jill Duggar, who’s been living in Central America with her husband, Derick Dillard, sort of stated the obvious in explaining that it’s important for her to share a common goal with her significant other.
“Don’t date anyone who doesn’t share the same goals as you,” she told the possibly-made-up magazine.
It’s good advice, particularly for people who plan to spend most of their married life performing missionary work in foreign countries.
Like, that’s not something you want to spring on your spouse on the honeymoon, ya know?
Of course, what everyone really wants to know is – what does Jana think about love and relationships?
If you follow the family, you’re probably aware that Jana is single and not particularly loving it.
She’s 27, which is not old by sane person standards, but in Duggar Land, she’s an old maid.
She’s probably already subscribing to Crown of Cat Lady magazine, is what we’re saying.
“I believe we all go through times of learning to be content wherever we are in life, whether you are a young kid waiting to be finished with school, a young person waiting to get married, then once married, waiting to have a child, then waiting for your children to go up,” Jana told the hip online ‘zine.
For her part, Joy-Anna Duggar, who’s currently courting Austin Forsyth, was all “you go ahead with that learning to be content sh-t”:
“Lord willing, [in five years] I will be married and a mother,” Joy-Anna said, as Jana presumably resumed her knitting.
Is that courtship shade?
It feels a little like courtship shade, which is a type of shade that Joy-Anna might have just invented.

Khloe Kardashian to Spies: Keep an Eye on Tristan Thompson!
Tristan Thompson is a pretty great baller on the court, starting for the NBA champion Cleveland Cavaliers and averaging 9.7 rebounds per game.
But Khloe Kardashian reportedly is worried that her boyfriend is also a pretty great baller off the court.
As in, she fears that Thompson is balling ex-girlfriend Jordy Craig on the side. In bed, we mean. With his penis.
Indeed, while some sources claim things are so serious between Kardashian and Thompson that they may get engaged, other sources allege that Khloe can’t think long-term about the power forward just yet.
Because she just doesn’t trust him.
“She love Tristan wholeheartedly and he’s been nothing but a stand-up, loving man,” an insider tells Hollywood Life, adding:
“But she can’t help but worry sometimes. Khloe spends as much time in Cleveland as possible and has spies in every city his team plays in.”
Khloe is specifically concerned about Craig, the woman Thompson reportedly left for Khloe and who gave birth to Tristan’s child in December.
It’s unclear just who these “spies” are, but perhaps Thompson has developed some ties in Cleveland and other cities in which the Cavaliers play basketball.
Khloe, of course, has an unfortunate history of being cheated on.
Her marriage to Lamar Odom ultimately fell apart because Odom got hooked on drugs and admitted to sleeping with other women while still married to Kardashian.
According to an OK! Weekly insider, Khloe should be worried about Thompson, too.
Wrote the tabloid in a recent article:
“Tristan has been juggling both women this whole time.
“Whenever he goes to Jordy’s, he says it only to see the baby, but he’s still sleeping with her. It’s the perfect cover-up.”
For Khloe’s sake, we really hope this isn’t true.
Thompson is a very famous professional basketball player, it’s worth noting.
And Khloe has been down this path before, with both Odom and with James Harden last summer. She understands how a certain type of women will be around Thompson almost everywhere he goes.
“Khloe knows how groupies throw themselves at NBA players in every city,” an insider explains.”She’s definitely keeping tabs on him.”
As outlined below, Khloe can also take advice in this area from her sisters.
It’s practically a pre-requisite for a member of the Kardashian-Jenner family to date an athlete. They’ve all been there. They’ve all dealt with the pros and cons of playing the literal field (or court).
But will Khloe come to once again regret the man with whom she has chosen to share her life?
