O.J. Simpson Slams Caitlyn Jenner: Enjoy Life As an Old Lady!
As you’ve no doubt heard by now, O.J. Simpson was released from prison last month after serving nine years on robbery charges.
Needless to say, some folks were less than thriled with the thought of living in a world in which the Juice is on the loose.
Obviously, there are the families of O.J.’s alleged murder victims, and the Brown and Goldman families are probably more than a little about reports that Simpson tried to hire a hitman and have them killed during his time behind bars.
But O.J. burned a lot of bridges during his first stint as a free man, so the Browns and Goldmans aren’t alone in their antipathy toward the former football great.
The members of the Kardashian-Jenner clan, for example, are no big fans of number 32.
Kris Jenner’s husband, Robert Kardashian, was a close friend of Simpson’s and the late attorney played an instrumental role in assembling the defense team for his double murder trial.
Both Kris and former husband Caitlyn Jenner have been vocally critical of O.J., and there have been reports that Kris and Caitlyn are afraid for their lives in the wake of Simpson’s release.
TMZ caugh up with Simpson in Las Vegas last night, and the topic of Caitlyn came up during a brief conversation.
O.J. attempted to keep the conversation lighthearted, but we’re guessing Jenner won’t be thrilled with what he had to say.
“I don’t know Caitlyn,” Simpson told the paparazzo.
“I’ve never met Caitlyn, as far as Bruce is concerned, I really didn’t know him that well.”
The reason to question the veracity of that remark, as O.J. vacationed with the Jenners in the late ’80s, but it’s what Simpson said next that’s really sparking controversy.
“If he wants to choose to live his life out as an old lady, instead of an old man, hey, women live longer,” Simpson joked.
“He may be on to something.”
A groaner, to be sure, but it could’ve been far worse.
After all, this is O.J. we’re talking about.
If you survive your encounter with him, then it could’ve been far worse.

Lady Gaga and Christian Carino: Engaged!
While not every lady spends her days gazing forlornly out the window, hoping that a dashing man will come by and sweep her off her feet, that’s still a perfectly acceptable way of finding your happiness.
And it looks like happiness has found Lady Gaga.
Remember reports that Christian Carino asked Lady Gaga’s father for his blessing to marry Lady Gaga? Well, guess what?!
Us Weekly reports that Lady Gaga and Christian Carino are engaged!
So, as we told you back in July, Christian Carino was spending time with Lady Gaga and her family.
Not every boyfriend — even serious ones — gets along with his girlfriend’s family, but apparently Christian didn’t have a hard time getting along with Gaga’s family.
We were admittedly feeling less than comfortable with the report that he asked Lady Gaga’s father for his blessing to propose to her.
There’s a lot about that antiquated custom that speaks of unequal gender dynamics.
Basically, we tend to associate that sort of thing with, say, the Duggar fertility cult, where daughters are the property of their father until he agrees to transfer that property to an approved husband. (Gross)
But it may be that Christian Carino was just testing the waters and making sure that he wasn’t going to upset Lady Gaga’s relatives and that they didn’t think that he was taking advantage of her somehow.
After all, Christian Carino and Lady Gaga started dating back in February. That is not a long time to be in a relationship.
Whatever it was, it apparently went over well — because they apparently got engaged over the summer.
We hope that news about that breaking didn’t spoil whatever surprise Christian Carino had planned.
Us reports that the couple’s current focus is, of course, on Lady Gaga’s health.
Lady Gaga has fibromyalgia, which you’ve probably heard about through commercials for prescription medicines if nowhere else.
Fibromyalgia is an agonizing illness that causes widespread muscle pain and tenderness.
Other symptoms can include fatigue, memory problems, and mood shifts and disorders.
Fibromyalgia is a chronic ailment, meaning that it can come and go with flare-ups that are difficult if not impossible to predict.
Chronic illnesses absolutely suck, folks.
We don’t know how many symptoms Lady Gaga is experiencing with fibromyalgia. Every patient is different.
She’s currently focused upon recovery.
Honestly, we think that it’s great that Christian Carino and Lady Gaga are engaged even with this knowledge.
Unfortunately, a lot of people — whether they’re dating or married — seem to step back when their partner develops an illness. Chronic ailments, in particular, seem to send some loved ones running for the hills.
It’s sad, but true. Just look at the suspicious timing of The Weeknd ending things with Selena Gomez. Reports say that he started to lose interest right around when she got her kidney transplant.
We’re really rooting for Lady Gaga and Christian Carino, though.
Maybe they’ll take that whole “in sickness and in health” thing seriously.
Lady Gaga has done so much good for the world.
We don’t just mean her music, though good music makes the world a better place just by spreading passion, art, inspiration, and joy.
She’s been a prominent proponent of LGBT+ rights from day one, using her voice and platform to stand up for minority rights has done an incalculable amount of good for the world.
She deserves good in her life and she deserves love.
We just look forward to when she and Christian confirm this with an announcement.
But that will come at a time of their choosing.

The Flash Season 4 Episode 3 Recap: Luck Be a Lady
The residents of Central City were not amused when everything seemed to be going wrong for them.
When The Flash Season 4 Episode 3 got underway, The Thinker revealed that Becky Sharpe was a casino dealer who found herself in a lot of awkward situations.
The team learned that Becky was in town when she casually robbed a bank and managed to swindle a lot of people into thinking she was doing them a favor.
Their issue with the whole meta side of things was that she arrived in town three years ago, so there would be no way she could be a meta.
With some digging, and the help of Harry Wells, everyone learned that Barry’s return from the Speed Force kicked off a new wave of metas. This made things scary because of the prospect of all of the villains roaming around the streets of Central City.
When Barry confronted Becky, she revealed that she felt like she was being rewarded for a life of bad things and that this luck was giving her a new lease on it.
But, Becky then felt the need to return to the casino world to get as much money as she thought was necessary to remain happy. In the process, this destroyed the luck in the town.
When the bad luck continued, S.T.A.R. Labs’ particle accelerator switched on, and it became apparent that an explosion was imminent. Harry opined that letting the thing explode would help them.
It did, and Becky’s good fortune was reversed, and that made her return to her former self, but will she return down the line to try and cause some more drama?
Something tells us we have not seen the last of her.
Wally then appeared and revealed that they managed t press on without him. He was away trying to find a way to get Jesse to stay in a relationship with him.
She wanted time apart to find out who she was and whether she could be in a relationship. With that, Wally said goodbye to his team because he needed some time away.
He returned home to Blue Valley to recuperate, but could this be the end of Wally’s tenure on the show? We have no idea.
Harry then dropped the bomb that the samurai dude from the season premiere knew Barry’s return would signal a new form of metas in town.
The big twist came at the end when Cecile dropped the bomb on Joe that she was with child!
Yes, that came out of nowhere, so things were getting good in Central City again.

Lady Gaga: I Swear, I"m Not Faking My Disease!
It’s been a rough few months for Lady Gaga.
And, as we’re continuing to learn, it doesn’t look like things are going to get easier anytime soon.
As she revealed last week, she’s been suffering from fibromyalgia, a disorder that causes chronic pain and tiredness.
There are other symptoms, and we don’t know all the symptoms Gaga is suffering from, but she’s made it clear that, at the very least, she’s in severe pain.
And that kind of pain doesn’t really work for a woman whose job involves strutting around for hours onstage, usually in ridiculously high heels.
That’s why she had to announce earlier this week that she wouldn’t be able to perform at Rock in Rio — because she is “suffering from severe physical pain.”
Along with that announcement, she shared a photo of herself in a hospital bed with an IV in her arm.
She explained that she was “devastated” that she wouldn’t be able to perform, but “I have to take care of my body right now.”
Pretty sad, right?
But it looks like things are just getting worse for her.
Yesterday, Lady Gaga announced that she is canceling the entire European leg of her world tour.
From September 21st to October 28th, she was scheduled to roam around the continent, performing for her fans, but now that’s been pushed back to “early 2018.”
Again, the announcement stated that Gaga is “devastated” at this turn of events, but her health is preventing her from touring.
Along with the official announcement, she included a much more personal message.
“I have always been honest about my physical and mental health struggles,” she wrote. “Searching for years to get to the bottom of them.”
“It is complicated and difficult to explain, and we are trying to figure it out.”
“As I get stronger and when I feel ready,” she explained, “I will tell my story in more depth, and plan to take this on strongly so I can not only raise awareness, but expand research for others who suffer as I do, so I can help make a difference.”
She said that she doesn’t throw around that “suffer” word to get pity or attention, and that she’s been “disappointed to see people online suggest that I’m being dramatic, making this up, or playing the victim to get out of touring.”
“If you knew me, you would know this couldn’t be further from the truth. I’m a fighter.”
Our beloved Lady Gaga wrote “I use the word suffer not only because trauma and chronic pain have changed my life, but because they are keeping me from living a normal life.”
“They are also keeping me from what I love the most in the world: performing for my fans.”
She concluded her message by saying that she can’t wait to tour again, “but I have to be with my doctors right now so I can be strong and perform for you all for the next 60 years or more. I love you so much.”
What a gem.
And she definitely has a point — even if you’ve only kept an eye on her over the years, you’d know how seriously she takes touring.
She’s always been very close with her fans, and she’s always put on incredible shows, so to accuse her of faking an illness so that she wouldn’t have to go on tour is honestly pretty dumb.
Dumb, and also very insulting.
We know she’s a hard worker, we know she genuinely loves music, and there’s no literally no reason to believe that she’d lie about something this serious for any reason at all.
Come on now, people.

Lady Gaga: Hospitalized for Severe Physical Pain!
Lady Gaga has been hospitalized ahead of her performance at the Rock in Rio music festival in Brazil due to urgent health concerns.
“Brazil, I’m devastated that I’m not well enough to come to Rock in Rio. I would do anything 4 u but I have to take care of my body right now,” the 31-year-old captioned an Instagram photo of an I.V. in her arm.
“I ask for your grace and understanding and promise that I will come back and perform for you soon. I’m so sorry and I love you so much.”
In a follow-up post, the Grammy winner confirmed that it was not something as little as wear and tear on her hip from her time on the road.
“I was taken to the hospital, it is not simply hip pain or wear and tear from the road, I am in severe pain. But am in good hands w/ the best doctors,” she shared.
“Please don’t forget my love for you. Remember years ago when I tattooed Rio on my neck, the tattoo was written by children in the favelas. You hold a special place in my heart I love you.”
On top of Gaga’s own comments on the matter, another response was posted on her social media accounts, presumably from her management.
It confirms Gaga is in “severe physical pain” and it “has impacted her ability to perform.”
Gaga recently confirmed that she suffers from Fibromyalgia, and that it will be addressed in her upcoming Netflix documentary, Gaga Five Foot Two.
“In our documentary the #chronicillness #chronicpain I deal w/ is #Fibromylagia. I wish to help raise awareness & connect people who have it,” the Million Reasons singer tweeted earlier this week.
“Thought ice helped #Fibromylagia. I was wrong & making it worse. Warm/Heat is better. Electric Heated Blanket, Infrared Sauna, Epsom Baths.”
Gaga has always been open about her struggles, and that’s why fans love her. She’s one of the most straight up stars in the business.

Lady Gaga Submits Evidence in Kesha-Dr. Luke Sexual Assault Case
Kesha is experiencing a career renaissance these days, but that doesn’t mean she’s putting her difficult past behind her just yet.
Back in 2014, Kesha accused famed producer Dr. Luke of sexual assault.
Despite suffering several legal setbacks and fears that going forward with the case might derail her career, the singer has remained adamant that her former mentor abused her physically and tormented her emotionally, and she’s steadfast in her belief justice will prevail.
Earlier this month, Kesha withdrew her lawsuit against Luke (real name, Lukasz Sebastian Gottwald) in California, but she’s still pursuing a second suit in New York.
Knowing that the New York case likely represents their clients last chance to be vindicated in court, Kesha’s attorneys are doing everything in their power to put together an iron-clad argument against Gottwald.
And now, it looks like they’ll get an assist from evidence provided by one of Kesha’s famous friends.
Kesha’s legal team believes a text message conversation between the singer and longtime friend Lady Gaga could be the key to their case.
Gaga had previously provided a “heavily-redacted, four page spreadsheet of” text messages, but now, Radar Online is reporting that she has agreed to “produce un-redacted copies of certain of the documents that were previously produced in redacted form.”
The move could spell major trouble for Gottwald, whose lawyers previously cited the edited documents as evidence that both Gaga and Kesha have something to hide.
Now, Gaga’s team is firing back:
“Dr. Luke’s team is attempting to manipulate the truth and draw press attention to their case by exaggerating Lady Gaga’s role and falsely accusing her of dodging reasonable requests,” says a spokesman for the singer.
The spokesman goes on to downplay the singer’s role in the upcoming trial:
“She has provided all the relevant information in her possession and is at most an ancillary witness in this process.”
A lawyer for Gaga echoes her PR team’s sentiments, saying that his client has always been happy to comply with any requests from the court:
“Lady Gaga has always been prepared to testify so long as reasonable limitations were established. That has now been accomplished,” attorney Oryn Snyder says in a statement issued to Radar.
Gaga’s name was mentioned in connection with the case before it was even revealed that she may have evidence pertaining to Kesha’s claims.
Last year, Gaga defended Kesha against critics who accused her of trumping up the charges against Gottwald.
Prior to that, Gaga revealed that she was also raped by an older man who worked in the industry, but denied that the assailant was Dr. Luke.

Lady Gaga Asks the Internet: Is Donald Trump Racist?
Donald Trump made it as clear as possible during an impromptu press conference:
He’s basically a Nazi sympathizer.
The President “went rogue,” according to government officials, veering off script about the country’s infrastructure and arguing with journalists in New York City about what transpired in Charlottesville, Virginia over the weekend.
(A short summary: White Supremacists gathered in town, chanting racial epithets and saying they were fulfilling the promises of Trump himself.
After counter-protesters showed up on the streets, a few arrests were made, things turned violent and one 32-year old woman was run over in a car by a neo-Nazi.)
On Saturday, Trump issues a terse statement that blamed “many sides” for the conflict.
After receiving a great deal of backlash from everyone with a pulse for his failure to specifically call out racism, Nazism or White Supremacy, the Commander-in-Chief followed up with a few short remarks on Monday that referenced these groups.
And then he essentially took it all back yesterday afternoon.
“There are two sides to a story,” Trump said from his podium, referencing both the neo-Nazis and the group that came together in protest of them.
He went on to say there were “a lot of bad people” among the counter-protesters, adding:
“You had a group on one side that was bad, and you had a group on the other side that was also very violent.”
Forget the “alt-right,” Trump shot back at a reporter, what about the alt-left?
“Do they have any assemblage of guilt?” he asked. “What about the fact that they came charging with clubs in their hands, swinging clubs? Do they have any problem? I think they do.”
The blowback to these stunning (even for Donald Trump) comments was swift and strong on Twitter, where critics slammed the President as “a racist” and accused him of sending a “dog whistle to white supremacists.”
Former Ku Klux Klan leader David Duke praised Trump for being “honest,” while even Fox News turned on him last night.
Kat Timpf said the press conference was “one of the biggest messes I’ve ever seen” and said she was wondering if she was watching “real life” as Trump rambled on about White Supremacy.
“It shouldn’t be some bold statement to say a gathering full of white supremacist Nazis doesn’t have good people in it. Those are all bad people. Period,” she added.
“And the fact that it’s controversial – I don’t know if I should just laugh so, I have too much eye makeup on to start crying right now. It’s disgusting.”
We’re a celebrity gossip website, of course, so here’s a look at what various celebrities said about Trump’s rant:
Of all the pointed critiques, however, Lady Gaga’s stands out for its simplicity.
“Do you think @realDonaldTrump @POTUS saying “both sides are to blame” in #Charlottesville makes him a racist supporter? Yes or no?” she asked her millions of followers, including a poll with the question.
She also wrote the following:
For the Black Community, tell us ways the non-racist white community who loves u can do better to help influence the country? #HowWeDoBetter
At this point, it’s almost a fair question to ask.
Donald Trump has been harder on Rosie O’Donnell than on modern day Nazis.
So with the Internet buzzing and Lady Gaga inquiring, we’ll go ahead and do the same.
