Scott Baio: Accused of Physical Assault by Another Actor
Former child actress Nicole Eggert has accused Scott Baio of sexual abuse, alleging that he molested her starting at the age of 14 when they both worked on Charles in Charge.
One of the people who has backed up her story is former costar Alexander Polinsky.
In Polinsky’s new statement, he levels some accusations of his own at Scott Baio.
In a statement that Polinsky sent in to The Talk, he reveals:
“Working on the set of Charles in Charge from age 11 to 15 was no picnic, it was a toxic environment.”
Child actors are the most vulnerable people on any set. They deserve better.
“I witnessed Scott Baio acting inappropriately towards Nicole Eggert during my first year of working on the show.”
As Nicole has mentioned, some of Scott Baio’s alleged inappropriate behavior took place on or near the set.
“I walked in on them together behind the set. Nicole was on Scott’s lap and he did not appreciate my intrusion.”
That matches well with what Nicole has described.
“He yelled at me and called me various homophobic slurs.”
A horrible way to treat anyone, but an inexcusable way for a grown man to speak to a child.
This becomes even more upsetting, however, as Polinsky then details his own accusations.
“Growing up on the show I received regular verbal attacks, mental abuse, and I also suffered a physical assault at the hands of Scott Baio.”
What kind of disgusting adult physically assaults a child?
“There is no excuse for his behavior. It is abhorrent.”
He emphasizes Scott’s age difference (Scott Baio is 11 years older than Nicole; his age gap with Alexander is even wider)
“Both Nicole and I were minors. We deserved safe passage to do our jobs and also be kids.”
Polinsky then lays out what he believes needs to change in order to make a safer, better world.
“If we want to change the culture, we have to bring out the truth, take back control from the abusers, and make them listen to the pain of their victims.”
That is true. He also has less abstract advice.
“For the sake of the next generation of young artists we must empower parents and social workers to heed the signals, ask the proper questions, and protect children from monsters in the workplace.”
On-site safety monitors, particularly for children, could be vital to preventing situations like this from happening in the future. And those worried about being “falsely accused” should want that, too.
“The cycle of abuse must stop. Even 30 years after the acts, they still matter.”
As Nicole Eggert has described in detail, Scott Baio allegedly began his sexual abuse of her when she was 14 and he was 25.
He was an adult, he was a star, and he was effectively her boss. And, according to her accusations, he digitally penetrated her in the garage of his house.
The alleged abuse went on about once a week until she was 17, at which point the two had sexual intercourse. From her account, Baio may have lost interest at that point.
She also says that he cautioned her that if anyone found out, the show would be canceled and everyone would lose their jobs.
Nicole Eggert has reported Scott Baio to police, and we note that California law does give prosecutors one year to charge him now that police have been told (despite the time delay; this law was written specifically for situations of child abuse).
For his part, Scott Baio has vehemently denied Nicole Eggert’s accusations.
He has claimed that he and Nicole Eggert had sex, but only after she “seduced” him at his house and only when she was 18.
He has also claimed that he never saw Nicole off of the set of Charles in Charge.
Baio has attacked Nicole, claiming that she cannot be believed because her story has allegedly changed over the years.
Some wonder if there are others mustering the courage to speak out with their own stories of working with Scott Baio.

Lady Gaga: Hospitalized for Severe Physical Pain!
Lady Gaga has been hospitalized ahead of her performance at the Rock in Rio music festival in Brazil due to urgent health concerns.
“Brazil, I’m devastated that I’m not well enough to come to Rock in Rio. I would do anything 4 u but I have to take care of my body right now,” the 31-year-old captioned an Instagram photo of an I.V. in her arm.
“I ask for your grace and understanding and promise that I will come back and perform for you soon. I’m so sorry and I love you so much.”
In a follow-up post, the Grammy winner confirmed that it was not something as little as wear and tear on her hip from her time on the road.
“I was taken to the hospital, it is not simply hip pain or wear and tear from the road, I am in severe pain. But am in good hands w/ the best doctors,” she shared.
“Please don’t forget my love for you. Remember years ago when I tattooed Rio on my neck, the tattoo was written by children in the favelas. You hold a special place in my heart I love you.”
On top of Gaga’s own comments on the matter, another response was posted on her social media accounts, presumably from her management.
It confirms Gaga is in “severe physical pain” and it “has impacted her ability to perform.”
Gaga recently confirmed that she suffers from Fibromyalgia, and that it will be addressed in her upcoming Netflix documentary, Gaga Five Foot Two.
“In our documentary the #chronicillness #chronicpain I deal w/ is #Fibromylagia. I wish to help raise awareness & connect people who have it,” the Million Reasons singer tweeted earlier this week.
“Thought ice helped #Fibromylagia. I was wrong & making it worse. Warm/Heat is better. Electric Heated Blanket, Infrared Sauna, Epsom Baths.”
Gaga has always been open about her struggles, and that’s why fans love her. She’s one of the most straight up stars in the business.

Lindsay Lohan & Egor Tarabasov: Physical FIGHT Caught on Video! WATCH!
We"ve known for quite some time that Lindsay Lohan"s relationship with her fiance, Egor Tarabasov, is far from stable.
In fact, there"s mounting evidence to suggest that LiLo is involved in an extremely unhealthy and possibly abusive relationship.
Lohan and Tarabasov got engaged back in April after just a few months of dating.
Red flags indicating that the relationship would be a troubled one began to pop up almost immediately.
First we learned that Tarabasov is likely lying about his wealth.
Shortly thereafter, Lohan accused him of cheating and hinted that she"s pregnant in a bizarre late night social media rant.
Now, disturbing disturbing new video has emerged that may indicate that there"s some truth to the rumors that Lindsay and Egor"s fights frequently get physical.
The footage, obtained by Radar Online, shows Lindsay jumping out of a Jeep with Tarabasov"s cell phone before being chased down by her future husband, who wrestles the phone away from her.
The incident reportedly occurred on July 5, just days after Lohan"s 30th birthday.
The video appears to show a long-rumored incident in which Lohan tried to throw Tarabasov"s phone after flying into a rage over a text message that she found.
Lindsay repeatedly laughed off the incident, claiming the whole thing was a joke that was misinterpreted by onlookers.
Amazingly, following the emergence of this shocking video, it appears she"s still pretending that all is well.
Just hours ago, Lohan posted the above photo, along with a caption reading:
"I love shaping all the food I make into a heart."
Just moments ago, the actress made her Instagram private, possibly in response to today"s developments.

Lamar Odom Begins Physical Therapy
Less than a week after Lamar Odom was found unconscious in his suite at a Nevada brothel, the former NBA star is out of his coma and well on his way to a miraculous recovery.
Obviously, Odom is far from out of the woods, and it remains to be seen what sort of permanent damage he may have suffered after very nearly dying from a drug overdose, but sources say he took an important step this morning.
According to the LA Daily News, Odom is now able to get out of bed and has begun physical therapy.
“Odom has shown enough steady improvement in recent days at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center that he has started physical therapy,” the newspaper reports.
“Odom has not experienced any setbacks after breathing without the help of a ventilator in the past three days. He showing marked improvement with his breathing, vision and the ability to have simple conversations.”
Reports last week indicated that Odom suffered several strokes before he was hospitalized, so it’s likely that he suffered considerable brain damage.
Fortunately, Odom has shown that he can communicate (primarily with hand signals) and understand what is said to him.
It’ll be a long road to recovery, and Odom may be forced to rely on medical staff or machines for the rest of his life. But considering the man was at death’s door just days ago, we’re sure he’s grateful for the hard work that lays ahead.

The documents were filed in L.A. County Superior Court Tuesday. Caitlyn is asking for an official name change as well as a gender change.
Sources connected to Caitlyn tell us, she filed a declaration saying she’s received a lot of support but not everyone is happy with her … she’s received threats of physical harm and she’s scared if she has to give up personal info such as medical history, it will escalate.
Caitlyn is asking the judge to keep the private information sealed, but as for gender and name change, it’s full steam ahead.
