Nia Long: Feuding With Taraji P. Henson and Empire Staff?!?
Empire returned from its lengthy hiatus last night, but it appears most of the drama is taking place on the set as opposed to the show.
Nia Long will be appearing later on Empire Season 3, but new details have emerged that she was a nightmare to work with.
The 46-year-old was allegedly feuding so badly with series star, Taraji P. Henson that producers had to look at alternative ways to film scenes between the pair because things got out of hand.
So, what caused the feud?
Apparently, Nia was not very nice to the hair and makeup folks working on the juggernaut. It even resulted in them filing a complaint because she was so difficult to work with.
It’s deplorable to appear on a show of any caliber and act like you own everyone, so if this turns out to be true, it’s horrid.
Empire has become the go-to show for big celebrities to appear on the small screen. This season alone we’ve already had the likes of Remy Ma, Taye Diggs, Mariah Carey and Rumer Willis.
Eva Longoria and Demi Moore are slated to appear in the coming episodes, but hair and makeup crew have never lodged a complaint about anyone else on the show.
Nia’s actions must have been horrible for them to even think of complaining about her, but she was apparently being rude and changing her mind about her look at the last minute.
Taraji apparently got wind of the way Nia was treating the staff and was not having any of it. Rightfully so. Taraji has been part of the show for over two years, so she probably looks at the staff members as really close friends.
In another incident, Nia threatened to sue the show when she did not get a goodbye after her final scene was filmed. In the world of Empire, the assistant director generally thanks the cast member for their final scene.
Disaster had struck the set when Terrence Howard took an allergic reaction, and everyone was busy helping him out. Either that or the A.D. did not think much of Nia’s attitude and did not care about wishing her well and just wanted her off the set.
We’ll probably never know, but Long was apparently chanting that she had it as part of her contract that the A.D. would thank her after her final scene, so she said she was suing the show as she departed.
TMZ spoke to one actor on the show who revealed they would never dream of working with the actress in the future.
As you can probably expect, Nia’s representatives have refuted the claims.
“We stand by our comments this morning that Nia has always, and continues to be, a consummate professional on set. In respect to her working relationships with the cast, she came onto this project, in the first place, because of her long-standing friendship and professional relationship with Terrence Howard.”
“We are not aware of any complaint, suit or case against her from anyone involved in the show, and we find the timing of all of these stories to be very suspicious, given that the series returns tonight.”
Did anyone expect her reps to confirm their client was difficult to work with? The comment about the show’s return was a bit of a stretch.
Empire is one of the only shows that does not need to create fake news to thrive.

Jinger Duggar Reveals Weird Reason Her Wedding Dress Train Was So Long
If you watch Counting On online, then you probably remember the reality series November 16 installment.
That was the episode in which fans finally got to see Jinger Duggar’s wedding, because in Duggar Land, marriages aren’t official until 2 million people have witnessed your awkward first kiss.
For the most part, the Duggar faithful were as unquestioningly supportive as usual, but there was one detail that seemed to cause mass befuddlement on social media.
Jessa’s wedding dress led many fans to openly wonder why she went with such an impractically long train.
Now, Renee Miller, owner of the Arkansas bridal shop where Jinger was fitted for her dress, has revealed that the /.. year-old made it clear exactly why she wanted a mile-long train.
And like just about everything else the Duggars do, her decision was rooted in a strictly literal interpretation of the Bible.
Miller says Jinger and Jeremy came into her shop in search of a gown that met the specifications of an esoteric Old Testament verse:
“Both Jinger and Jeremy desired for the dress to have what I can a ‘train fit for royalty,’ based on a Bible verse that Jeremy had quoted to his wife-to-be,” Miller wrote on the Duggar family blog this week.
“That verse was Isaiah 6:1.”
“When Jinger tried on the three protocol dresses, she always looked at the train before she looked at the front, so I knew that was her heart.
She adds:
“I wanted the train to be the center of attention.”
In case you’re also looking to take your fashion cues from a Bronze Age mystic, the verse reads:
“I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up, and the train of His robe filled the temple.”
But if God had a crazy-long train, wouldn’t that mean Jinger wouldn’t want one, what with all the rules against graven images and likenesses and whatnot?
Eh, we doubt the big guy is too upset about it either way.
Miller, who also designed Jill and Jessa’s dresses, says that she’s favored by the Duggars because she considers dress-making to be a spiritual calling:
“I tried to listen to her heart, which was difficult because we hadn’t yet met face-to-face,” Miller says of creating Jinger’s dress.
“I prayed that I would be able to create a unique dress that would fulfill her dreams.”
Sounds like she met the challenge.
Of course, Jinger is so gaga for her dude, she could’ve gotten hitched in a burlap sack with arm holes, and she still would’ve had a huge grin on her face.

Joy-Anna Duggar Courtship: How Long Has This Been Going On?!
Last week, fans learned that first name hyphenate and oft-overlooked Duggar Joy-Anna is courting Austin Fortsyth.
There’s been concern over how much Forsyth knows about the Josh Duggar sex scandals that shocked the world and shamed Joy-Anna’s family last year, but it seems the man does have an idea of what he’s getting himself into.
But that doesn’t mean there’s no secrecy surrounding the latest Duggar courtship.
Every aspect of the Duggars’ public life is carefully coordinated and Joy-Anna’s courtship is no exception.
Sure, fans just learned about Joy-Anna and Austin, that doesn’t mean it just began.
We don’t know exactly when the relationship started, but fans have done some sleuthing, and it seems that Austin and Joy-Anna began preparing their announcement around August.
The Forsyth family owns a historically-themed tourist attraction called Fort Rock Family Camp, and it based on the business’ website, it was in August that the family began preparing for life in the public eye.
The site underwent a massive overhaul, with some information about the personal lives of the Forsyth’s removed, and some added.
As you can see, the changes included an addition of a photo featuring Joy-Anna standing with the Forsyth family.
Hardly conclusive evidence, but many have taken it as a sign that it was in August that the Forsyths began to prepare themselves for the fact that there would soon be a lot more traffic coming to their small and seldom-updated family website.
For as much as they live their lives in the public eye, the Duggars can be surprisingly secretive, and Austin and Joy-Anna might never come forward with the exact date that they started courting.
We know that they’ve known each other for most of their lives, due to the friendship between their families.
(15 years, according to some accounts).
But it remains unclear when they went from friends to “courtship partners” (the Duggars don’s use the terms “boyfriend” or “girlfriend,” for reasons that are clear only to them).
Critics felt that Jinger Duggar moved too fast in her relationship with Jeremy Vuolo, and it’s possible that the family is trying to avoid a repeat of that situation by refusing to reveal the exact date that Joy-Anna’s courtship began.
Maybe it’ll be an effective strategy – but we doubt it.

Man Dresses as Insanely Long CVS Receipt, Wins Halloween
There are few mysteries in life as confounding as this one:
Why does CVS issue ridiculously long receipts for every single purchase? Especially after claiming back in 2013 that it would stop doing so?
We now have an answer:
It has all been a build-up so that a man named Jeremy Schneider could dress as a 12-foot long CVS receipt for Halloween and win the holiday forever.
As you can see in the video above, however, Jeremy does more than merely dress up as a CVS receipt.
He enters an actual CVS location and gets handed an actual receipt by an employee there.
An employee who can’t help but crack up over what she sees in front of her, of course.
And, yes, the receipt is as hilariously and pointlessly long as always.
Here is a photo of Schneider earning the 2016 Halloween Champion crown. A job very well done by him, we must say.
The previous contender for this honor was a 10-year old boy who went to school late last week dressed as Donald Trump’s hair.
Yes, just his hair. Complete with a giant Make America Great Again baseball cap on top of this amazing creation:
On the flip side, the person who came in last place for Best Halloween Costume of 2016 also came in first place for Most Disgraceful and Racist Halloween Costume of 2016.
Congratulations? We guess?
We refer, of course, to the person who attended a University of Wisconsin football game dressed as Donald Trump, carrying a noose that he placed around the neck of a friend in a Barack Obama mask.

Rob Kardashian & Blac Chyna: Still Together ... But For How Long?!
As you may have heard Rob Kardashian deleted all pics of Blac Chyna from his Instagram page earlier this week.
The move – a common mid-tantrum power play for Rob – was seen by many as an indication that the couple had called it quits
Yesterday, however, several sources indicated that the couple was far from over – and that Rob was simply feeling neglected by Blac.
So it seems that even though she’s soon to give birth to her second child, Blac will basically be raising three kids.
Despite the fact that Rob deals with his negative emotions in the fashion of an overgrown toddler, Blac is reportedly sticking by his side.
But even insiders close to the couple admit that their recent fight was a doozy:
“Yes, it was a fight, but they will be over it and basically are,” the source tells Us Weekly.
“They’ve been spending a ton of time together and filming a show together. Add to that the stress of a new relationship and it’s inevitable that there will be some tension and fighting.”
The insider concludes:
“It was an explosive fight.”
As for what the fight was about, a different source says the couple simply spends too much time together – yet Rob weirdly gets pissed when Blac wants to do something on her own:
“They were filming this weekend, and one of the people in her crew asked her to do something without him, and he snapped. … They started talking again [on Sunday] though and made up [on Monday].
“Everything with Chyna is moving so fast. … She’s a single parent and filming the show and all of her other work commitments, so Rob has been feeling neglected by her.
“She has also been doing things on her own a lot with her girlfriends.”
Yeesh. We used to think Blac was taking advantage of Rob.
Now we’re urging her to run from this unstable man-boy before it’s too late.

Scandal Season 5 Episode 14 Recap: So Long, Cyrus?
Abby prepared to take on Cyrus after discovering a vital piece of information about him on Scandal Season 5 Episode 14.
Yup, she is now aware of his connection to Governor Vargas. So… what did she do about it?
Following desires to “slit his throat” and “bathe in his blood,” Abby brought her proof to the President, who needed a tad bit convincing that firing his Chief of Staff wouldn’t do more harm than good.
But once he did go through with the axing, Cyrus took it surprisingly well. A little to well?
What might be he plotting to do next?
We were left wondering about that question while Cyrus sat at home toward the end of this Scandal Season 5 installment and Abby clinked glasses with Fitz and Susan Ross in the Oval Office.
Elsewhere, Olivia’s relationship with Jake took yet another strange turn.
After failing in her attempt to spy on her shady ex in his apartment (because Jake is way too smart for that), Olivia resorted to an unorthodox method of coping: actually moving on.
“I miss you,” she told him. “That’s why I’ve been acting like this, with the cameras and the stalking. It’s because I miss you. … I’m so sorry, Jake.”
Olivia seemed to be pretty sincere, but then she realized that Jake was doing the same thing to Vanessa that he did to her many years ago.
But why?!? That’s the new question.
Huck, meanwhile, nearly killed his ex-wife new boyfriend, kidnapping him and bringing him out to the woods… before coming to the conclusion that he really did love Javi and Kim. He even ended up apologizing.
As for the fictionalized version of 2016 Presidential race? How did Scandal make it even nuttier than the real-life version?
By having Hollis Doyle – a “slimy, slithery, hell-raised son of a whore,” according to Mellie – enter the race, stealing Mellie’s tagline and announcement location in the process.
Does he really have a chance to win?
We want to say no, but… well… Donald Trump and all.

Mama June"s New Man: So Long, Sugar Bear!
In news that rocked the world, Mama June Shannon and Mike “Sugar Bear” Thompson have broken up.
We’ll give you a moment.
“They’re definitely not together now,” a source tells Radar Online. “There was no saving that relationship after everything they had been through.”
The parents of Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson had split after Sugar was caught cheating using online dating sites in 2014.
Shortly afterwards, Mama June rekindled her relationship with Mark McDaniel, who molested her own daughter Anna Shannon.
It’s a shock these two couldn’t work it out.
Despite their troubles, the two agreed to put it all behind them and try to repair their relationship through counseling via reality show Marriage Boot Camp.
Pretend counseling for ratings and cash? Hells, yeah! And hey, if we can save the relationship, I guess that’s bonus.
On the show, Sugar admitted to dabbling in gay sexual encounters and additional indiscretions with women, which were previously unknown to Mama June.
Folks have speculated that the same-sex confession was all for show, but if that’s true, I imagine Sugar isn’t fessing up to it. Unless someone offers him more money.
Whatever the case, Mama June seems to have moved on. Sources claim she’s dating a lucky new Georgia man now.

LeAnn Rimes: Pregnant at Long Last?!
Welp.
Last week, LeAnn Rimes told In Touch Weekly that “life is fine as it is” with husband Eddie Cibrian and his two sons, Mason and Jake.
“I have two kids in my house half the time, so I know what it takes to be a parent.”
It may have been an attempt to deflect speculation, because according to Star Magazine, Rimes is pregnant with the couple’s first child.
“It’s early, so there’s no bump,” a source close to the couple told the magazine.
“But the buzz is she’s pregnant.”
The report claims that Rimes and Cibrian underwent IVF after trying to conceive on their own.
“The baby-making escapade has been traumatic,” the source said. “LeAnn had to convince Eddie to go for IVF, and that’s stressful.
“Eddie’s already a dad, so for him not having another baby isn’t the end of the world. But for LeAnn, it’s almost the only thing she thinks about.”
They allegedly prefer to keep the news to themselves until Rimes is four months along.
“She’s had positive pregnancy tests in the past,” the source continued. “But it hasn’t resulted in the happily-ever-after she so desperately wants. She couldn’t handle the heartache of letting people know she’s miscarried.
“Raising the baby will be the easy part after everything they’ve gone through to get there,” said the source helpfully.
If the report is true, then mazel to them both.
