Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez: Wedding on the Way?!
It’s only been five months since we first learned that Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez are dating, but it seems the double-A-list couple is moving at breakneck speed.
In fact, sources close to J-Lo and A-Rod say that we can expect to hear wedding bells in the very near future.
“Those in J.Lo’s inner circle see her relationship with A-Rod going the distance,” a source close to Lopez and Rodriguez tells Entertainment Tonight.
“They definitely see marriage potential here. J.Lo loves that they have so much in common,” the insider adds.
“They’re both parents and they’re both successful in business. Their lives, while busy, really complement each other.”
Well, if the source is to be believed it certainly sounds like J-Lo may soon become Mrs. A-Rod.
So what is it that has her so enamored with the former Yankee?
Many have cited Alex’s many professional successes as among the main reasons that Jen is so drawn to him.
But cosidering this is the woman who dated Casper Smart for years, we don’t think being independently wealthy is high on her list of requirements.
What really seems important to these two is that despite their busy schedules, they both make family and parenthood their top priorities.
The insider says that Alex loves everything about Jen – but he’s particularly blown away by how good she is with his kids.
“Jennifer means the world to him and he wants everyone to know it,” the source notes.
“His kids like her a lot and that’s what means the most to him.”
Only time will tell if these two are really headed for the altar, but whatever the case, Rodriguez is definitely head over the heels in love with his iconic girlfriend.
A-Rod has been gushing about Jen in interviews, and he let loose with a torrent of praise in his most recent interview:
“Jennifer is one of the most brilliant business minds that I’ve ever met. She is the hardest working lady,” the former Yankee told ET.
“I am a big, big promoter of women equality. I like that for my daughters and Jennifer is the role model.”
His baseball career may have ended in disappointment, but it looks like Rodriguez is now a winner in the game of love.

Gina Rodriguez: I Used to Feel SO Guilty for Masturbating!

No, she doesn’t mean, like, “oh, why did I spend so much time masturbating! I’ve still got to shower and I’m going to be late meeting my friends for dinner!”
She also doesn’t mean: “In retrospect, I really shouldn’t have been jackin’ it to a fanfic with such a problematic pairing.”
She means it in more of a “oh no I did something sinful” way. We’ll get to that in a moment.
“Oh, my God, this extreme guilt! And that lasted way too long.”
Some people grow out of feeling needless guilt faster than others.

Unless she was injuring herself or other aspects of her life suffered, is there really any such thing?

It’s good that she’s talking about this.
She’s a role model and this could help other people, especially girls — who may have a similar background to her — feel less weird about normal bodily functions.

She’s absolutely right.
Gina’s been dating hunky boyfriend Joe LoCicero for almost a year, now.
You might be wondering about why she would feel guilty — sure, our sex-negative society is weird about masturbation, but mostly just in public, since just about everybody does it.
Well, she was raised Catholic.
That’s not racist stereotyping on our part or us assuming that everybody who went to a high school with “Saint” in the name is Catholic.
She was raised Catholic and that comes with more than a thousand years of theological teachings.
According to Catholic doctrine, masturbation is absolutely wrong, always.
Not just for girls, not just for people when they’re young, not just when porn is involved.
By Catholic teaching, sex is only supposed to take the form of venereal intercourse between spouses, without any sort of artificial birth-control.
In other words, followers are forbidden from ever having an orgasm that doesn’t involve their spouse in this exact manner.
The vast majority of Catholics are personally fine with masturbation and using condoms, because the more rules that a religious institution has, the more of them people are just going to brush off.
Especially the ones that are almost impossible to follow.
For the record, there are Catholics who absolutely stick to this and have zero pre-marital orgasms.
But … probably the vast majority don’t, because they’re also people.
(Plus, orgasms are just super good for you)
Honestly, we love Gina Rodriguez.
This isn’t the first time that she’s addressed sexuality.
She’s previously made an ambiguous statement that leads us to believe that Gina Rodriguez may be bisexual.
Regardless of her sexual orientation or how much needless guilt she used to feel, she’s an absolute gift to us all.

Jennifer Lopez: Looking Hot, Celebrating Her Birthday with Alex Rodriguez!
Jennifer Lopez celebrated her birthday yesterday. She turned 48, though you absolutely wouldn’t know it from looking at her.
Her boyfriend, Alexander Rodriguez, took to Instagram to post a beautiful and affectionate tribute to her in honor of her birthday. But that wasn’t all.
We now have some new hot, revealing J Lo photos, because the world can never have enough. Her birthday outfit was just shy of being her birthday suit.
She. Looks. Amazing.
You might be thinking that it’s “easy” to look gorgeous when your outfit is as revealing as this one.
And, to be sure, this outfit looks like she’d spend her evening constantly perched on the verge of a major nip-slip.
(Though we’re sure that she’s using some double-sided tape)
But the fact that it’s so revealing is part of what makes it so impressive.
Because not everybody can pull off an outfit like that when they’re 20, let alone 48.
Wearing it is a power move, but Jennifer Lopez has the body — and abs — to pull it off.
Wearing it out to celebrate is even more of a power move, honestly, because plenty of people would worry that establishments would turn them away if they show up wearing … almost nothing.
That can’t be a major worry for J Lo.
(A friend of mine once had to nervously remind her that children weren’t allowed in a particular part of the hotel, but it’s hard to picture her being asked to change clothes for the sake of some restaurant)
Remember J Lo’s infamous dress from … nearly 20 years ago?
To think that, at the time, people looked and wondered how she kept it up.
(Definitely with double-sided tape, folks — that’s always the answer)
This outfit puts that dress to shame.
Alex Rodriguez posted a birthday tribute to the singer on his own Instagram page.
“Wishing a happy birthday to this amazing human being who lights up my world every day. Te amo muneca!!”
That is so sweet.
Of course, we already knew that these two were crazy about each other — almost obnoxiously so (remember their baecation?).
But that doesn’t make birthday messages any less precious.
For those of you who took Spanish too long ago to remember (or took a different language and really don’t know), that last bit of A-Rod’s message means:
“I love you, doll.”
Cute, right?
He also included “#Leo,” because goofy astrology stuff isn’t just for your Twitter mutuals.
Celebrities do it, too.
Seriously, though, look at her again.
That outfit is almost unrealistic in its excellence.
Like the kind of thing that a video game designer would (deservedly) get hell for after making it the default outfit of a female character.
By J Lo rocks it in real life like that’s what everybody wears.
Amazing.
For what it’s worth, A-Rod looks pretty great in his cobalt suit.
Just, you know, all eyes are understandably on Jennifer Lopez.
Sometimes it’s easy to give Jennifer Lopez a hard time, but her birthday week’s a good time to remember that we really do believe that she’s a good person.
In fact, recently her post about her sister’s child, Brendan, gained positive notice because J Lo respected her nibling’s they/them pronouns.
You’d think that respecting a person’s basic pronouns, gender, and identity would be the bare minimum of what you’d expect even between strangers, let alone between family and loved ones.
In today’s toxic political climate, that isn’t always the case.
And sometimes celebrities have nasty surprises for you — Drake Bell, back when Caitlyn Jenner came out as trans, revealed himself to be a huge transphobe and tried to “honor” her athletic accomplishments. Never have I clicked “unfollow” so quickly.
(Hate Caitlyn all that you like, but not because she’s trans, and don’t misgender her or use her deadname)
Clearly, J Lo is a good and loving aunt in a world that needs more like her.
And she must make one hell of a girlfriend, because A-Rod is glued to her side.
It looks like she’s crazy about him, too.
Even though she’s reluctant to make him her fourth ex-husband.

Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez Fawn Over Each Other, Nauseate the Universe on "Baecation"
So much for those Alex Rodriguez cheating rumors.
(In a romantic sense, that is. We all know the guy cheated his rear end off on a nearly yearly basis while playing Major League Baseball.)
And so much for those Alex Rodriguez blackmail rumors getting in the way of a healthy relationship with Jennifer Lopez.
The singer/actress and the former controversial athlete made it clear this week that their romance is going as well as ever, sharing photos from a recent trip they took together to Paris.
Sorry, not a recent trip.
A recent baecation, as Lopez referred to the European adventure as in the caption to the picture above.
The gorgeous star posted numerous images from the vacation to her Instagram account, while Rodriguez talked openly about his famous girlfriend at a press event for Shark Tank on Monday night.
(He’ll be joining the ABC program as one of the very rich Sharks next season.)
“Our kids get along really well, we’re both from New York, we’re both Latin, we’re both in our forties, we’re really enjoying life,” A. Rod told Extra, adding:
“She really is one of the most impressive and smartest human beings I have ever met.”
Rodriguez and the 47-year old Shades of Blue actress have been dating for a couple of months.
They haven’t been shy about making public appearances or about gushing over each other during this time period, either.
“She’s an amazing, amazing girl,” Rodriguez said on The View in late March. “One of the smartest human beings I’ve ever met and also an incredible mother.
As for this Paris… umm… baecation?
“The museums are always good, and just walking around Paris is awesome,” Rodriguez told this same outlet.
The main question, of course, is how Rodriguez feels about his nickname with Lopez.
The Internet seems to have settled on J. Rod over A. Lo, which is fine by the man whose last name is at the center of the former option.
“I’m fine with everything, it’s close to A-Rod,” he said, adding of Lopez: “She’s pretty easy going, I think she likes it too.”
She’s also pretty easy on the eyes. Like, VERY easy on the eyes.
If we were dating someone who looked like Jennifer Lopez, we’d let the world just call us by her name at all times for all we cared.
We’d let her dress us. We’d let her talk for us. We’d do everything she said without any questions asked.
And so would any of you, fellas.

Alex Rodriguez: My Ex is Blackmailing Me! Help!
Alexander Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez seemed like such a happy couple, before all of this other woman stuff surfaced.
It turns out that A-Rod’s wannabe mistress might not be after his body so much as his wallet.
You know, it was only a few months ago that Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez were confirmed to be dating.
That is not a lot of time to wait before cheating on J-Lo.
What ever happened to the honeymoon phase of the relationship?
Especially since this is all about some alleged sexting sessions with ex-girlfriend Lauren Hunter.
Which would mean that he’s barely entered this hot, new relationship and he’s risking all of that for an ex.
If they’re true and if they’re recent, which are two big ifs.
It’s hard to see why you’d sacrifice a nascent romance for one that you already know won’t work out.
And, maybe more to the point, but what kind of fool cheats on Jenny from the Block?
Rodriguez is reportedly sexually skilled and anatomically impressive.
And the two of them seem to have hooked up back in 2014, which would be a long-ass time to be carrying a torch.
Like, it’s normal to have fond memories of an ex.
Not so much to try some life-ruining stalker move on somebody you boned three years ago.
But apparently, this Lauren girl may have more going for her than just lustful cravings for the baseball player.
TMZ reports that Lauren Hunter was demanding $ 600,000 from A Rod to keep their textual tryst a secret.
600 is a lot of thousands, but she’s reportedly hit him up for cash before — unsuccessfully.
This desperate and vicious cash-grab must have seemed perfect, as surely A-Rod would do anything to keep the peace in his newly committed bliss with J-Lo.
So surely he’d want to pay rather than have all of that thrown in jeopardy.
Obviously, that hasn’t worked out as she’d hoped.
In fact, it looks like A-Rod hasn’t given her so much as a cent, and has his legal team prepping to go after her.
And maybe also law enforcement.
Blackmail and extortion are crimes, you know.
A-Rod hasn’t necessarily cheated, though it does look like he might have, with what appeared to be an attempt to meet up with Lauren Hunter last month.
All that we really know is that he apparently had a relationship with Lauren Hunter at some point in the past.
For the rest, well, the facts should sort themselves out eventually.
With some help from a whole bunch of legal experts.
But honestly, as gross as using your sexual history to try and extort cash from somebody is, this is almost a relief.
Imagine being so nuts for a man that you’d try to ruin his relationship and risk your own happiness because you’re so crazy in love.
Money’s a motive that we can all understand.
