Jenelle Evans: I Told You! The Show Can"t Go On Without Me!

It appears as if this controversial cable network personality has won her stand-off against producers and executives, following many weeks’ worth of speculation that Evans may be fired from Teen Mom 2.
Such rumors ran wild around the Internet because Jenelle basically initiated her own boycott of the program.
After MTV fired her husband, David Eason, as a result of his many homophobic remarks, Evans refused to film.
She especially took a strong stance against filming the Teen Mom 2 reunion special in New York City last month, refusing to attend unless the network footed the traveling expenses for her and David.
Producers refused. And Evans remained true to her word.
She skipped the taping.
(And, in the process, she missed quite an explosive situation, as Briana DeJesus and/or her sister allegedly brawled on stage with Kailyn Lowry as cameras rolled.)
However, Radar Online now reports that Evans has essentially come out on top in this quasi game of chicken with her bosses:
She WILL be part of the reunion special after all.
How is this possible? Considering the special has already been filmed?
MTV has agreed to send Dr. Drew Pinsky down to North Carolina to film a separate, one-on-one interview with Evans that will be incorporated into the reunion.
The network has stood strong against Eason, though, as he will play no role in this filming.
“MTV arranged for Jenelle to film with just Dr. Drew in North Carolina after she threw a temper tantrum and refused to face the other girls without David,” an insider tells Radar, adding of the arrangement:
“She is scheduled to film on Sunday, but David can’t be anywhere near filming.
“So either he has to leave the house or Jenelle will have to go somewhere else to film.”
Either way, it’s hard not to see this as a victory for Jenelle.
The veteran reality star basically went on strike and dared MTV to fire her…
… and the higher-ups responded by actually heading to down to Jenelle’s hometown just to make sure she remained part of the show.
It’s worth noting that her mother, Barbara Evans, and her son, Jace, both traveled and filmed the Teen Mom 2 reunion in The Big Apple the the weekend of May 19, 2018.
And they may very well have some negative things to say about Jenelle.
But she’s also heard it all before. She can likely handle it.
Just a few weeks ago, Evans got into serious legal trouble and faced major backlash after reportedly pulling a gun on a driver during a fit of road rage.
Once again, chatter swirled after this incident that the famous teenage mother may get canned.
And, just to be clear, this may still end up happening.
She may very well film her reunion interview and then not have her contract renewed.

Kailyn Lowry: I"m Looking For Love On a Dating Show!
Reality stars are often derided for their laziness and encouraged to “get a real job”, but it’s hard to imagine anyone having more irons in the fire than Kailyn Lowry.
Kail is a mother of three (obvi), a reality star (also obvi), a bestselling author, a podcast host, and a social media trendsetter.
And now it looks like she’ll be killing two birds with one stone as she cashes in on yet another lucrative gig while simultaneously looking for love.
“I’m going on a dating show next week,” Kail revealed on a recent episode of her Coffee Convos podcast.
She didn’t go into specifics, but on Thursday, she tweeted that she’d touched down in Los Angeles.
Naturally, fans are dying of curiosity:
Is this some sort of one-off thing, where Kail will appear in a single episode of celebrity dating series?
Is this one of those VH1 deals where a bunch of stars live in a house and have casual sex for three weeks?
(Unlikely, as that’s not really Kail’s style, and she probably wouldn’t relish being away from her kids for so long.)
Or is this an entirely new project that will focus completely on Kail’s love life?
(Also unlikely, as such a show would probably film closer to Kail’s home, and as we said, the girl’s already got quite a lot on her plate.)
Whatever the case, Kail fans are understandably psyched.
Not only will they get more of their favorite Teen Mom mom, but they’ve been rooting for Kail to find the right man for at least the past two years, and they might finally get to see her find love.
Interestingly, news of the dating show comes on the heels of Kail saying that she’s done with dating.
“More kids, yes. But more dads, no,” Lowry told Radar Online in a recent interview.
She elaborated that she’d like to have at least one more child, but imagines she’ll do so via artificial insemination.
It’s not hard to see why Kail might not be so big on the idea of romance.
Her relationship with Chris Lopez ended badly while she was still pregnant with her third son, Lux.
And we don’t need to tell you that it hasn’t always been smooth sailing with Kail and her ex-husband, Javi Marroquin.
Earlier this year, Kail and Javi reconciled briefly, but he abruptly called it quits to get back together with Lauren Comeau.
But fortunately it looks like Kail’s not giving up on love – and even better, she’s taking fans along on her search for Mr. Right.

Jill Duggar Visits a Mosque for Ramadan, Gets Blasted by Fans: Show Some RESPECT!!

Just kidding — though, given Derick Dillard"s latest remarks about trans people, who would blame her?
No, Jill spent some time at a mosque for Ramadan, and fans took her to task for not covering her hair for the visit. Are they right?
In the video that we"ve attached, Jill shows off her visit to a mosque.
"Okay where are we at?"
A hijabi woman beside her (who, we have to say, is in a wonderfully colorful outfit) answers, saying:
"We are at a mosque and we have Iraqi feast for Ramadan. We"re glad to see you here!"
As you probably know, during the holy month of Ramadan, Muslims fast, abstaining from certain activities such as food during the daylight hours.
(People with health restrictions are exempted)
After night falls, however, there is a feast to break the fast. Jill"s companion introduces her to some traditional Iraqi dishes.
The video"s caption reads:
"While Derick was with the men (guys and girls have separate sections), Jill enjoyed some Iraqi food with friends."
That"s great and all, but a number of fans had major concerns about Jill"s hair.
"You shouldn’t go into a mosque not covered out of respect. You also take off your shoes."
They"re not suggesting that Jill don a hijab on a permanent basis, but merely adhere to a dress code.
"She should have had her head covered in a mosque out of respect."
Many houses of worship have dress codes.
"That right there speaks volumes about her respect."
That said, we don"t know if this particular mosque has this concern about guests.
Not all Muslims wear hijabs (or any other hair covering), and some mosques may not enforce a dress code for guests.
There was plenty of addition commentary, including fears that Jill might be proselytizing under very inappropriate circumstances.
"I really hope you aren"t trying to convert Muslims."
That probably wasn"t the case, otherwise, Jill and Dercik would be begging fans for money like they do when they go on missionary trips.
"Of course it’s a PR stunt. Notice they only use these kind of posts when Derick has done something wrong. It absolutely can’t be taken seriously and it’s actually more offensive knowing it’s all an act."
A lot of people share the theory that this is an example of her trying to soften their image after Derick"s repeated homophobic and transphobic rants.
"it’s damage control for her all of her husbands Twitter rants lol"
Others think that it has less to do with Derick and more to do with the couple"s shared desire for attention.
"It’s all for attention to make themselves look better ! It’s all for show. They have one path only ! Have you not seen the hate he spews on his social media ??"
Others, however, were full of compliments for Jill.
"Awesome that you love and honor others in this way."
They even defended her from some (fellow) fundamentalists who thought that Jill was consorting with "the enemy."
"People forget it is possible to show compassion without compromising your own convictions."
Others offered Jill kudos for attending the feast instead of just poting a few empty words.
"I will say, Jill put her money where her mouth is with this one and I think it’s great. The more barriers we break down the better."
True!
"People!!! It"s between Jill & God what, where & why she was doing what she was. You don"t have to agree with someone on religion, or anything for that matter, to show a little kindness & love."
Accurate.
"There are a lot of things between Islam and Christianity that are quite similar. The big difference is the role of Jesus Christ. And as followers of Jesus Christ, we know that we follow the true faith. But that doesn’t mean we should judge others. It’s not our place. Have a great and blessed day!"
Jesus is considered a holy man within Islam.
Others took Jill"s more conservative critics to task.
"Seriously? People are blasting OTHER Christians for joining in with our brothers and sisters of another Abrahamic faith? (Abrahamic faiths being Christianity, Islam, and Judaism)."
it"s true. In fact, despite the academic differences, many have wondered if Judaism, Christianity, and Islam shouldn"t be considered different branches of the same faith.
Muslims themselves appreciated the post.
"You are an amazing human being and I love that you are sharing Ramadan with us. Ramadan is a holy month full of love and charity. You are an amazing woman Jill, and as a Muslim American I love y’all & yalls show."
While many people"s concerns over Jill"s lack of hair-covering was probably genuine and came from a good place, it is important to not speak over people.
It doesn"t sound like Jill did anything wrong … in this one, particular instance.
Shame Jill when she deserves it, but only when she deserves it.

Duggar Family at War With Gay Cousin Over New Reality Show
The Duggars, as you’re likely aware, are a deeply conservative lot.
The core group of 21 who make up the Duggar clan that was first immortalized on 19 Kids and Counting have contended with friends and relatives who don’t share their fundamentalist beliefs, and they’ve typically been quick to “deal with” these associates.
Michelle Duggar’s lesbian sister, for example, has been cut off from the rest of the family and has never even met most of her nieces and nephews.
They similarly exiled rebellious cousin Amy Duggar, who’s dared to commit such affronts as kissing her fiancé before marriage and wearing an actual swimsuit to go swimming, rather than a modesty-preserving barrel with suspenders.
Now, the Duggars are facing yet another enemy in their midst.
And this one is hoping to beat Jim Bob and company at their own game.
As we reported earlier, John Andrew Studdard is an openly gay cousin of Jim Bob and Michelle’s children.
Unlike so many of the Duggars’ relatives, he seems to have no fear of his wealthy and powerful aunt and uncle.
Studdard has spoken out against Derick Dillard’s homophobic remarks, and now it appears he’s hoping to enter the Duggars’ arena with a reality show of his own.
And not surprisingly, the Duggars are very much hoping that doesn’t happen.
“The producers were hoping to do a show with his immediate family, but all of his immediate family declined,” a source close to the situation tells Radar Online.
“They think it’s tacky that John Andrew spoke out about Derick’s beliefs and have warned him if he speaks out publicly again he will be cut off financially.”
But those who know Studdard best say that his main goal is not to simply trash his famous relatives:
“He wants to show his life with his friends and the volunteer work he’s passionate about,” the insider said.
“He wants to build a platform to spread awareness for causes. He wants to build an empire bigger than his distant cousins.”
Surprisingly, it seems Studdard actually feels compassion for his famous cousins – and he wishes they would follow his lead by showing more empathy toward others:
“He doesn’t think they’re bad people,” the insider says.
“He spoke out against Derick because he wanted him to be considerate of others. His comments were very harsh. He doesn’t know him well enough to say he’s a bad person. He was so kind at his wedding to Jill.”
Studdard may have a hard time landing a deal for a show where he presents a counter-argument to his relatives’ worldview, but here’s hoping he finds a way to get his message out there.
It would certainly help to shake things up in Tontitown.

Taylor Swift Was FEELING Kelly Clarkson"s Billboard Music Awards Show
The 2018 Billboard Music Awards were full of beautiful political statements and powerful performances.
But there were other, subtler moments that you may have missed if you glanced away.
One of them featured Taylor Swift rocking out to her own music … as Kelly Clarkson performed it.
Kelly Clarkson has one hell of a voice, and she performed a medley of some of 2017"s biggest hits.
One of those hits, as you can see and hear in the video that we"ve included, is Taylor"s epic revenge song: "Look What You Made Me Do."
Taylor released the song as the single that led up to Reputation dropping.
The song itself parodies how she has been portrayed while also promising revenge against a number of her enemies.
Notably, she had been feuding with Kim Kardashian, Kanye West, and with Katy Perry.
When Kelly began singing Taylor"s lyrics, Taylor couldn"t help but sing along.
Taylor was situated in the audience between teen heartthrob Shawn Mendes and 21-year-old heartthrob Camla Cabello.
(Which pretty much makes Taylor the envy of the entire world, doesn"t it?)
In the video, we see Taylor mouth the lyrics while also posing — she can"t help but know that the camera will be on her while Kelly is singing her words.
She quickly loses her composure and bursts into laughter, however.
She was clearly enjoying her time at the awards show. And why shouldn"t she? She had the best-selling album of all of 2017.
Taylor was clearly living her best life.
She was practically joined at the hip with the beautiful Camila Cabello, with whom she has also recently performed during her massive concert tour for Reputation.
Now, being good buddies is all well and good, and we"re glad that Taylor was able to enjoy the music.
But she may have enjoyed some of the music a little too much.
See, when teen singing sensation Shawn Mendes took to the stage to perform "In My Blood," Taylor and Camila could not contain their enthusiasm.
A number of people — and their cameras — notice the two were standing to sway and dance to Shawn"s music.
Most notably … Darren Criss.
Criss recorded the humorous moment on his phone, saying "excuse me, miss" in a polite and certainly too-quiet-to-be-heard tone while showing that Taylor and Camila were obstructing his view.
He wanted to enjoy Shawn"s performance.
Probably because he has two ears and a heart.
Some fans asked why he didn"t also stand, but that would have been passing along the buck and essentially forcing the entire audience to stand.
That"s no fun.
But Taylor and Camila enjoyed their friend"s singing. That"s what matters.
Some artists get very touchy about covers by other artists.
Clearly, Taylor enjoyed Kelly Clarkson"s inclusion of her lyrics.
No medley of 2017 hits would feel right without Taylor"s music, and what better choice than her epic single that promised revenge on her enemies.
They say that success is the best revenge, so she"s already making good on that promise.
Jinger Duggar: Leaving Counting On to Star In Her Own Show?!
Big things are happening in Jinger Duggar’s life these days.
In fact, some believe that all the exciting new developments in Jinger’s world should take center-stage in the Duggar family’s first spin-off series.
Okay, technically, Counting On is a spinoff of 19 Kids and Counting, but really, it functioned more as a replacement series after the original was irreparably sullied by the Josh Duggar sex scandals of 2015.
Anyway, if fans have their way, Jinger might soon become the first Duggar to serve as solo star of her own series.
In recent weeks, Duggar obsessives have been calling for a Jinger spinoff (or Jin-off, as we like to call it) on her Instagram page and in Duggar-focused subreddits.
The reasons why they think this is such a good idea are myriad:
For starters, the 24-year-old’s life is wildly eventful these days.
Jinger is pregnant with her first child, and along with her husband, Jeremy Vuolo, she’s carving out a life that’s very much at odds with her ultra-conservative upbringing.
Shortly after her wedding, Jinger became the first Duggar woman of her generation to permanently move away from Arkansas.
She and Jeremy have been residents of Laredo, Texas for nearly two years now, and it looks like they’re gearing up for yet another move.
Last week, rumors that Jinger is moving to Los Angeles began to make their way around social media.
And unlike so many reports about the Duggar clan, this one is based on credible evidence.
Jeremy was recently accepted to study at a divinity school in LA, and apparently, he would be permitted to carry on his ministry there while he gets his degree.
In other words, a spinoff might soon be the only path forward for Jinger’s career that makes sense from a logistical perspective.
Continuing to find ways to incorporate Jinger’s storylines into her siblings’ lives will become that much more difficult after she heads for the coast.
The smartest move for TLC might be to simply offer Jinger her own series.
The move would make sense not only because of the geographical issues but also because it’s fitting that the woman known as “the rebel Duggar” should have her own show.
Jinger was the first Duggar woman of her generation to wear pants and the first to leave Arkansas.
Now, she might be the first to land her own series.
Just another accomplishment from the undisputed fan favorite.
