Adam Levine Welcomes Baby #2 ... Will He Leave The Voice?

Just a couple of days ago, Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo welcomed the birth of their second child, a daughter with a very unique name.

Many have wondered if the demands of being a father of two young girls will finally tear him away from his swiveling chair on The Voice.

But apparently NBC is pulling out all of the stops — and by stops we mean cash — to entice him to stay. Will it work?

Fans rejoiced at the news that Blake Shelton and Behati Prinsloo were expecting baby #2.

Their first young daughter, Dusty, is still a very little girl, so these two sweet girls will be very close in age. Dusty Rose is, for the record, 16 months old.

And this second baby is named Geo Grace Levine.

But … how much of their childhoods is Adam prepared to miss with his work on The Voice?

Though obviously he and Behati have the means to provide childcare for their children no matter what their schedules might be, that can mean missing valuable bonding time.

Is being on a talent competition show really worth missing your daughter’s first word?

It’s worth noting that a number of factors aside from fatherhood might draw Adam away from the show, and that he’s not the only one.

For example, new judge Kelly Clarkson has been accused of “diva” behavior behind the scenes on The Voice. That doesn’t really match her brand, but one could imagine how fame and success can go to just about anyone’s head.

Then, of course, there are rumors that Blake Shelton might quit The Voice … and reports that the Country crooner has gained an inflated sense of self-importance since going on the show, and may now believe that he’s too good for it.

There have also been rumors for a while now that Blake and Adam dislike each other on a personal level, one well beyond playful rivalry for cameras.

Overall, The Voice isn’t the same as it was when Levine joined it — so why would he stay when he could be at home with his stunning wife and two beautiful daughters?

As it turns out, the answer to that might be simple: money.

RadarOnline reports that Adam Levine has been offered a lot of money by NBC in an effort to get him to remain on The Voice.

Specifically, a massive bonus of $ 500,000.

That might seem like pocket change to a guy whose net worth is estimated to be somewhere in the range of $ 60 million.

But remember that he’s believed to make somewhere from $ 10 million to $ 12 million per cycle of the show. So this is a bonus, like sprinkles on ice cream.

(We won’t say icing on the cake, as cake without icing is just pointless bread)

Why are execs at NBC so desperate to keep Adam Levine that they’re paying him so much?

Apparently, when word first reached fans that Adam might consider leaving the show, fans protested. In a very vocal manner.

Many longtime fans of The Voice, which has always had a rotating cast, that the show just wouldn’t be the same without Adam Levine.

For what it’s worth, many of them said the same about Blake Shelton. Probably a different group of fans.

The Voice‘s fandom sure is passionate.

Of course, not everyone has a lot of confidence in Adam Levine’s fathering skills.

Recently, he was slammed for “naked time” with his young daughter.

While plenty of folks might love to be in the room with a naked Adam Levine, they point out that Dusty Rose is too old to see her father naked.

That’s bordering on a taboo that exists for a very good reason, but many parents bathe with their children who are babies. It is unlikely, though possible, that Dusty will grow up remembering what her dad looks like naked.

Hopefully.

Kelly Clarkson Accused of Diva Behavior on The Voice

It seems like just yesterday that we were hearing who won Season 13 of The Voice, but Season 14 will be here before you know it.

This year, Kelly Clarkson is joining the The Voice as one of the coaches.

But … apparently things aren’t all smiles behind the scenes. In fact, a report claims that Clarkson is a total diva backstage and almost impossible to work with.

35-year-old Kelly Clarkson first rose to fame on the inaugural season of American Idol.

From her humble, “white trash” beginnings — her words — she skyrocketed to stardom with a successful music career.

As much as fans hate when Kelly Clarkson says stupid things, they love to see her shut down body-shamers in a very down-to-earth way. Mostly, they love her music.

Now, she’s joining Blake Shelton, Adam Levine, and Alicia Keys as a coach on The Voice.

But, according to RadarOnline‘s source, Kelly Clarkson’s alleged diva behavior is causing some tensions and unhappiness and the season hasn’t even begun to air.

Apparently, there are a number of problems.

“She’s not the person that everyone thought she was going to be.”

Based upon Kelly Clarkson’s branding, people probably expected a down-to-earth, minimal-nonsense singer with humble roots who is hesitant to bash anyone.

And the source gets pretty specific about what they got instead.

“She is bossy and argumentative.”

Apparently some of the problems began before she even walked in the door.

“The other judges, especially Blake, already had an issue with her.”

That issue, it seems, was financial in nature.

“Because of the amount of money they reportedly paid her to join the cast.”

But it goes beyond the bottom line and extends to promos.

“One of the main issues is that producers are making Kelly a central focus on everything.”

This sounds familiar.

“And she is also taking center stage on all of the promos that are being shot so far.”

You know how Kate Mulgrew was famously unhappy with how Jeri Ryan become front-and-center on every billboard and ad for Star Trek: Voyager back in the ’90s?

This sounds like that same kind of resentment — but with personality issues to make things personal.

The source goes on to list Kelly Clarkson’s other alleged grating habits.

“She comes in when she wants to.”

Oooh, that’s never good. And very diva.

“She seems to think that it is all one big game.”

I mean, it is literally a talent competition. It’s a game.

(But we get their meaning, here — her alleged behavior is unprofessional to an off-putting degree)

“At the same time, she is overly certain that she will win this season.”

Cavalier and cocky at the same time? Yikes.

“Of course Blake is irritated with Kelly! Everyone is.”

Blake’s come up more than once, perhaps because we’ve heard some things about Blake Shelton’s alleged diva behavior, too.

It sounds like they both need a dose of reality. They’re on The Voice. Nobody gets to put on airs when they’re judging a reality series. No matter how much they’re getting paid.

Blake Shelton May Quit The Voice and Producers Won"t Miss Him!

The Voice has done a lot for Blake Shelton over the past 8 years. It’s how he and Gwen Stefani met. It’s how people who aren’t big Country fans know who he is. It’s probably how he somehow ended up “Sexiest Man Alive.”

Despite all of that, Blake is reportedly considering quitting the show that has given him so much — including tens of millions of dollars.

Surprisingly, it sounds like producers wouldn’t mind that at all. And it may all come down to Blake Shelton’s behavior when the cameras aren’t rolling.

Blake Shelton has been making headlines since he first hooked up with Gwen Stefani a few years ago.

Their runaway romance began after Gwen shared her story of being cheated on with her costars — she wanted to tell her fellow judges what was going on in her life before they heard speculation in tabloids.

Blake came forward, telling Gwen that he’d just gone through something similar in his own life.

The two of them bonded over that. And then, at some point, they boned. (There have even been reports that Blake Shelton is trying to impregnate Gwen Stefani)

So, money and visibility and alleged sexiness aside, it’s safe to say that The Voice has changed Blake Shelton’s life in a really positive way.

RadarOnline reports that Blake Shelton may walk away from The Voice.

“Blake has made tens of millions of dollars on The Voice and he has gotten insane exposure for his music.”

It’s true. If you’re not a Country fan, you had probably never heard of him before he went on The Voice, if then.

A lot of people never noticed that he existed until he started dating Gwen Stefani.

“But the money and fame have changed Blake.”

It sounds like he’s turned into a real diva when the cameras aren’t rolling.

“He is a cry baby if he doesn’t get his own way and he barks orders at people.”

Oh gosh. That sounds like an unpleasant way to behave.

That source has more to say, which we’ll get to in a moment.

But we should mention that some people’s first reaction will be that “diva behavior” doesn’t really match Blake Shelton’s image.

Or rather that it doesn’t really match Country Music’s image.

The key word there is image. Successful stars are great at managing their images; it is a key to success.

Blake Shelton is a guy who allegedly cheated just as much as Miranda Lambert, but it’s Miranda’s life that was ruined as the Country community sided with him during their split.

So it’s probably fair to say that Blake knows how to portray himself one way to the public and another in private.

Ultimately, Blake Shelton’s decision on whether or not to depart may rest on the shoulders of Adam Levine, who is also considering quitting.

The reason is that Adam’s wife Behati Prinsloo is pregnant with baby #2, and he may want to spend more time with his family.

“If Adam quits, Blake is definitely walking out behind him.”

Interesting. We wonder if Blake would feel insecure about remaining behind if Adam leaves. Certainly, we’ve never heard that there’s any love lost between the two.

Also interesting is that apparently the show itself wouldn’t mind.

“And producers are okay with that.”

For good reason:

“After eight years of Blake and Adam doing this, everyone is just ready for a change.”

It’s hard to parse stories about someone allegedly considering quitting; that could come from offhand remarks, after all.

But though new judges could breathe new life into The Voice, we have to wonder if the change could risk losing them viewers.

After all, despite the shock that most people felt when they saw Blake Shelton absurdly selected as the Sexiest Man Alive, some people clearly feel that way.

And maybe a lot of those people make up The Voice‘s core demographic of viewers.

“If Adam quits, Blake is definitely walking out behind him.”

“And producers are okay with that.”

“After eight years of Blake and Adam doing this, everyone is just ready for a change.”

Heather North, Voice of Scooby-Doo"s Daphne, Dies at 71

Heather North, the veteran voice of the beloved cartoon character Daphne Blake on TV’s Scooby-Doo, died at her home in California late last month, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.

She was 71 years old.

Close friend Jodie Mann has confirmed the unfortunate news to the publication, saying North passed away on November 30 after a long battle with a serious illness.

North’s passing comes nearly three years after she lost her husband, H. Wesley Kenney.

An Emmy Award-winning producer and director of soap operas, he was behind the camera for every episode of the memorable 1974-75 season of All in the Family.

The actress met Kenney on the set of Days of Our Lives, on which she portrayed Sandy Horton for multiple years, and married him in 1971.

She was a native of Pasadena whose biggest movie credit was likely as Kurt Russell’s love interest in 1971’s The Barefoot Executive.

But she’ll almost definitely be most remembered as the voice of Daphne, a role she took on with the second season of Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!.

One of the two female members of the teenage investigate team, Daphne was a critical part of this beloved series.

North inhibited the role on and off over the next 30-plus years, with her final credit listed as 2003’s Scooby-Doo! and the Monster of Mexico.

The popular actress also appeared on such television programs as Mr. Novak, Gidget; The Fugitive; The Monkees; My Three Sons; and Adam-12.

On the big screen, meanwhile, she played parts in Git! (1965) and I Love My Wife (1970); and on Broadway in the short-lived 1967 comedy The Girl in the Freudian Slip.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, a memorial service is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday at First Christian Church in Studio City.

The publication also writes that her survivors include:

  • Son Kevin and daughter-in-law Stephanie.

  • Stepdaughter Nina and her husband Brent.

  • Stepson Wes and his wife Leslie.

  • Granddaughter Jocelyn.

Another stepdaughter, Kara, sadly died just a week ago.

We send our condolences to her family members, friends and loved ones.

May Heather North rest in peace.

The Voice Results: Who Won Season 13?!

The Voice Season 13 came to a close Tuesday night as the winner was finally chosen.

In true The Voice fashion, the closing episode was filled with multiple performances that did nothing to ramp up the excitement.

There were performances from Charlie Puth, Kelly Clarkson and contestants of the series’ past.

The important performances were the ones that included the four finalists as they vied to be crowned the winner.

Addison Agen (Team Adam) and Norah Jones – “Don’t Know Why”

Addison and Norah sounded great together, but there were a few moments in which Norah sounded much better than the contestant. For the most part, it did benefit Addison’s voice and showed us at home that she can change things up.

Will it be enough to give her the win? She did have a good string of performances on Monday night, so there’s a good chance of it. That’s if Chloe Kohanski lost some votes which is unlikely.

Brooke Simpson (Team Miley) and Sia – “Titanium”

Sia is at the top of her game, so her performance with Brooke was always going to go one of two ways: Either Brooke was going to sound awful next to the incomparable Sia, or Sia was going to dial it back and give Brooke time to shine.

Thankfully, it was the latter, and Brooke got a whole lot of vocals to show off her skills. Unfortunately, it was not at the level of the other three performers in the competition.

Chloe Kohanski (Team Blake) and Billy Idol – “White Wedding”

Chloe continued to perform songs from the 80s, but she got to sing along with none other than Billy Idol. That must have been a daunting experience, but the youngster killed it.

Who would have thought her voice would sound so great next to Billy’s? In any case, Chloe has a good shot at winning the whole thing.

Red Marlow (Team Blake) and Vince Gill – “When I Call Your Name”

Red has the whole country thing going for him, and that’s long been his unique selling point. In a rare moment, Red upstaged Vince, and the track sounded a lot better with Red’s vocals.

Red has a bright career ahead of him regardless of the outcome.

Now, it’s time to run down the results…

  • Red Marlow came in fourth place

  • Brooke Simpson in third place

  • Addison Agen in second place

  • Chloe Kohanski in first place

Chloe Kohanski is the winner of The Voice Season 13!

The Voice Recap: Who Will Win?!

The final four took to the stage Monday night on the performance finale of The Voice Season 13.

It was time for them to show off their vocals one last time to fight for votes to win the competition.

That means they each had to perform a cover, an original single, and a duet with a coach. Three songs in one night are no easy task, but who emerged as the most likely candidate to win?

Let’s break down the performances…

Addison Agen

Okay, so Addison has made it far in the competition, but she’s been one of the contestants who has been middle of the pack all season long. Thankfully, her cover of Tim McGraw’s “Humble and Kind” was a good one.

It was a defining moment for the singer. She managed to change things up in a way I never thought was possible. Maybe she could win the whole thing.

However, her duet with Adam Levine was all over the place. They belted it out to “Falling Slowly”, but there was something not right about the performance. It was not as polished as it should be.

That’s the risk of performing three songs. There’s generally some that struggle with it, and this was a misstep for Addison.

The good news for Addison was that she pulled it back and then some for the original single. She performed to “Tennessee Rain”, and it was one of the best originals to come from the series.

It had great vocals, and it meshed well with Addison’s voice. That’s about all we could ask for at this stage.

Chloe Kohanski

Chloe has been tipped to win the whole thing for weeks now, so the pressure was most definitely on for her during the live show on Monday night. She kicked things off with her original song, “Wish I Didn’t Love You.”

For the most part, it was a solid performance, but it did feel like she could have had a better song to have as her own. There were some issues, but it seemed like the coaches overlooked them.

Chloe then partnered with Blake Shelton for a rendition of “You Got It.” Like the previous duet of the night, it was not great. Maybe it would be a good idea to cut all of the duets out because they are just making the contestants look bad.

Blake sounded excellent, and it only showed that Chloe still had a long way to go.

Chloe’s cover of “Bette Davis Eyes” was not all that. She hit all of her notes, but the song choice just seemed like more of the same, and I want to hear Chloe elevate her voice to a new level.

Red Marlow

Red kicked off his night with a duet. He and Blake went with “I’m Gonna Miss Her.” It was a cut above the other two duets on the night. The two country voices together went really well.

Red’s original single was “I Pray”, and it was decent. He went for that country sound, and that’s exactly what he needs to do in order to garner the votes.

His cover was “To Make You Feel My Love”, and it was a revelation. It was the best performance of the night. Everything about it was just right, and not overproduced like some of the others.

Brooke Simpson

Brooke went with “What Is Beautiful” for her original single. It was an emotive performance for sure, and it was filled with set pieces that elevated it above some of the other originals.

I can’t even begin to process what made Miley Cyrus want to perform “Wrecking Ball” with her. Miley’s voice was too much for what was supposed to be a duet. Brooke seemed like she had been relegated to a backing singer, and that’s not a good thing.

Thankfully, Brooke’s cover of “O Holy Night” allowed me to forgive that little misstep. It was Brooke’s best performance to date and pretty fitting when you consider the fact that it could be her last on the show.

Predictions:

  • Red Marlow will come in first place

  • Chloe Kohanski will come in second place

  • Brooke Simpson will come in third place

  • Addison Agen will come in fourth place

The Voice Results: Which Four Exited Stage Left?!

The Voice is well-known for bloodbath elimination episodes, and Tuesday night’s big sing-off found four acts going home.

When the crazy episode got underway, Jennifer Hudson took to the stage to perform “Burden Down.” It was a ballad only worthy of her tremendous voice, and it’s clearly going to be a hit.

Machine Gun Kelly, X Ambassadors and Bebe Rexha performed “Home” right after and proved that you can mess with different sounds to try and create a hit.

When it came to the results…

Safe

Chloe Kohanski (Team Blake)

Addison Agen (Team Adam)

Brooke Simpson (Team Miley)

Instant Elimination

Davon Fleming (Team Jennifer)

Keisha Renee (Team Blake)

Those results meant that Red Marlowe, Adam Cunningham and Noah Mac had to duke it out for survival with one final performance each.

Red Marlow (Team Blake) – “Dixieland Delight”

Red has proven on multiple occasions that he has the voice that should be in the finale of the season. While his on-the-spot performance was not all that, it was still an okay performance that showed off his beautiful country voice.

Adam Cunningham (Team Adam), “Here’s a Quarter (Call Someone Who Cares)”

Adam has been circling the drain for weeks now, and after a sudden resurgence last week, his performance to save himself was somewhat lacklustre.

It was filled with issues, and that was likely down to Adam knowing he was very likely about to be clipped from the competition.

Noah Mac (Team Jennifer) – “Sign of the Times”

Noah could not have picked a worse song to save himself. It was all over the place and seemed like he was trying way too hard to win. The notes were flat, and the overall performance seemed like a misstep for him.

The final results were not shocking. Noah Mac and Adam Cunningham were sent packing, and Red Marlowe got to advance to the final stage of the competition.

The Voice Recap: The Top 8 Perform!

The Voice Season 13 is close to its conclusion, and after a double elimination last week, it became clear to the final eight contestants that they needed to up their game if they wanted to make it to finale night.

It is getting more difficult to benchmark the contestants given that the weaker competitors are out of the competitive loop.

Adam Cunningham (Team Adam) – “I’m Already There”

Adam shocked audiences last week by managing to escape the bottom three, and you could tell it instilled some confidence in him after circling the drain for so long.

Adam was told he could choose his songs, and that gave him yet another boost. It’s a real shame when some acts lose out on points because of terrible song choices.

His performance was an excellent portrayal of his talents, and proved he still has a lot left to give the competition. He should make it to next week.

Davon Fleming (Team Jennifer) – “Gravity”

Davon is one of the only competitors this season who can flawlessly execute the high notes, so it seemed odd that he went with a John Mayer song.

Maybe he wanted to show off a different side to his voice, and it worked. Everything about the performance was different from his previous ones, and that’s a good thing.

Red Marlow (Team Blake) – “Go Rest High On That Mountain”

Red has got to be one of the most consistent performers in the history of the series. His latest take on a Vince Gill classic was littered with set pieces that added to the whole performance in a positive way.

From the country vocals to the brilliant intonation, it was one of the best of the night.

Keisha Renee (Team Blake) – “What Hurts the Most”

Keisha took to the stage and owned it in winning fashion with a number that did not seem to belong to a specific genre, but it showed off her vocal prowess.

She took the feedback from Rascal Flatts to heart and that’s about all the coaches could ask for at this stage.

Chloe Kohanski (Team Blake) – “I Want to Know What Love Is”

For someone who has been killing it every week, this performance was not all that. Chloe has been receptive to feedback all season long, but it seems like she forgot the memo that you can’t try and replicate performances like the one Hunter Plake did on Season 12.

She was still one of the better performers on the night, but it was a disappointment.

Noah Mac (Team Jennifer) – “River”

Where did this performance even come from? Like, Noah has been decent and all, but this one blew me away. It was infectious, enthralling and exciting all at the same time.

If he does not make it to the final, there will likely be a whole lot of people going crazy.

Addison Agen (Team Adam) – “Both Sides Now”

In a strange twist of fate, much of the middling performers emerged as the top performers during Monday night’s telecast. Addison emerged from the pack in a big way with a Joni Mitchell classic.

She put her own spin on it, and it worked in her favor.

Brooke Simpson (Team Miley) – “Faithfully”

Leave it to Brooke to make us tear up at the close of the episode. Brook went with a Journey classic, and what she delivered was somewhat extraordinary.

Will this last-minute change of pace secure her some more votes?

What do you think about the performances?

The Voice Results: Which Two Were Eliminated?!

With a double elimination looming, the contestants vied for a place in the top eight, but after Monday’s episode, it was obvious that a lot of the competitors were circling the drain.

With Noah Mac and Shi’Ann Jones faltering this week, could this be the time to get them out of the process?

Or did viewers forget to vote for some of the better contestants like Red Marlow and Chloe Kohanski?

Let’s run down the latest results of The Voice!

Before we got to the results, we got some intel on what Season 12 winner, Chris Blue has been up to since winning the show.

In short, he has signed a lucrative record deal and got married, so it sounds like he has the perfect life right about now.

After that, Season 4 winner, Danielle Bradbery made her grand return to the stage and performed “Worth It.”

The song was not all that, and it was rather forgettable.

Then, it was time to find out which performers were sent to safety.

Sent to Safety

Brooke Simpson (Team Miley)

Addison Agen (Team Adam)

Keisha Renee (Team Blake)

Noah Mac (Team Jennifer)Y

Chloe Kohanski (Team Blake)

Adam Cunningham (Team Adam)

Red Marlow (Team Blake)

Yes, you guys, Adam managed to steer clear of being in the bottom for the first time this season!

Ashland Craft, Shi’Ann Jones, and Davon Fleming were in the bottom three, and all of them had to sing for survival.

Ashland went with “Tonight I Wanna Cry, ” and it was an uneven performance. Maybe it was nerves, but at this stage, she really needed to wow the coaches and the audience.

Shi’Ann turned in a similarly tedious performance with “At Last,” and it was evident she was not going to survive this sing-off.

Davon Fleming went with “Ain’t No Way, ” and while it was not quite as dull as the other two performances, it was awful in comparison to his Monday night rendition of Christina Aguilera’s “Hurt.”

Davon was saved, while Shi’Ann and Ashland were sent packing.

Okay, what did you think of the latest elimination?

Melanie Martinez, Former The Voice Contestant, Accused of Rape

Melanie Martinez is the first woman to be ensnared in the ongoing Hollywood sex scandal.

A contestant on Season 3 of The Voice, Martinez has been accused by fellow musician Timothy Heller of committing sexual assault.

In a four-part tweet on Monday evening, Heller detailed a night during which she “repeatedly said no” to Martinez’s sexual advances.

However, Heller says Martinez ignored her very clear requests.

She says Martinez proceeded to forcefully penetrate her with a sex toy, among other disturbing acts.

(Based on a deep dive into their respective social media pages, we can deduce that Martinez and Heller have been friends since 2015.)

In the first of her Tweets last night, Heller comes right out and says “my best friend raped me.”

“She took me in, which I was so grateful for. I felt like I owed her my life,” Heller writes, referring to Martinez as “perfect” and “different,” in a positive way at first.

The artist goes on to allege, however, that Martinez soon gained an unhealthy “power” and “control” over her.

For example, “I had to apologize for having an extreme panic attack… because it ruined her night.”

It was a “codependent” relationship, Heller Tweeted.

martinez accuse

“One night during a sleepover, she became increasingly interested in my sexual preferences,” Heller says, after admitting she had a difficult time “saying no” to this person.

Heller says she had previously been assailed and found the topic awkward, but the friend persisted.

“She began asking me while in bed if I would have sex with her… I repeatedly said no.”

The next night, after smoking marijuana, Heller said she hoped she’d be able to just fall asleep. But this friend brought up the sex question again, over and over and over again, even though Heller “said every form of no I could think of.”

The friend kept asking things such as “Can I just touch your boobs,” even “begging” to do so, in Heller’s recounting.

Finally, exhausted, Heller allowed for this one act. But “this led to her touching the rest of me,” as she “used her power over me and broke down.”

Heller insists she kept saying NO.

heller twete

“Just so there is no confusion,” she emphasized on Twitter. “I was molested by my best friend.”

She goes on to say she was later “penetrated by a sex toy without being asked” and that this individual performed oral sex on her.

Heller and the friend never discussed what happened after the night in question and Heller ended up in a kind of denial, her head “messed up” and confused over what transpired.

Due to “recent event,” a clear reference to many Hollywood stars being exposed these days as sexual predators, Heller hopes people will believe her story. But she’s “terrified” about the response.

But she does want everyone to know the following:

“Girls can rape girls. Best friends can rape best friends.”

Heller never names the friends in her array of Tweets, but then wrote the following after posting her troubling tale:

“When I wrote this story about my assault, I initially wasn’t going to make the abuser. But I think it’s important for you all to know this is about Melanie Martinez.”

In turn, the singer, who rose to fame on The Voice Season 3, has responded.

Seemingly admitting to a sexual interaction between the pair, Martinez Tweeted late Monday:

“I am horrified and saddened by the statements and story told by Timothy Heller.

“What she and I shared was a close friendship … We tried to help each other. We both had pain in dealing with our individual demons…

“She never said no to what we chose to do together. And although we parted ways, I am sending her love and light always.”

We’ll update this story with further details if/when news breaks.

The Voice Recap: Lucky Number 3 for Adam Cunningham?

With the finale fast approaching, it’s time to whittle down The Voice Season 13’s final 10.

With Adam Cunningham circling the drain over the last few weeks, we think it’s fair to assume that will not be changing this week. Viewers cannot connect with him, and that has nothing to do with his vocals.

Let’s break down the performances of the night and see how everyone stacks up.

Davon Fleming (Team Jennifer) – “Hurt”

Davon’s rendition of this Christina Agulera classic was flawless. He hit all of the high notes with ease, and there were no signs of it slowing down. The coaches seemed shocked by the power of his voice, and it will be fun to see what he does next.

Adam Cunningham (Team Adam) – “Maybe It Was Memphis”

Adam is struggling to garner the votes he needs to stay in the process, and his latest performance was breathtaking. To try and win some new fans, he changed his voice up.

It worked, and his sound was more like someone you would expect to win a show like this. Will it help with votes? We can hope.

Noah Mac (Team Jennifer) – “Ordinary World”

Noah stalled this week. His performance was still decent, but his take on this Duran Duran classic was rather bland. His confidence seemed to take a knock, and that seems like a step back for him.

Losing confidence during the lives is a big no-no, so he needs to get it together soon.

Shi’Ann Jones (Team Jennifer) – “Diamonds”

Shi’Ann’s voice has been all over the place during her time in the competition, and it was at its worst this week. This Rihanna classic was butchered by the teen, and she even struggled to hit some of the notes.

Could this be the end of her time in the competition?

Chloe Kohanski (Team Blake) – “Call Me”

Chloe has been the one to watch pretty much all season long. This Blondie hit is a great song, and she managed to make it her own with some subtle changes that proved she is an elegant performer who wants to win.

Keisha Renee (Team Blake) – “All By Myself”

Keisha opened up this number in a soft tone that became a full-blown scream by the end, but that benefited her for this song. Keisha knows how to make a song her own, and she did so in winning fashion.

Ashland Craft (Team Miley) – “I Hate Myself for Loving You”

This performance was not memorable in the slightest. From her nerves to her pitchy vocals, there was nothing that made this exciting. Have we seen everything Ashland has to offer?

Brooke Simpson (Team Miley) –  “Amazing Grace”

Brooke’s performance gave me chills. She owned the stage with her voice and her moves. The song choice was on point, and she battled to make it one that everyone would remember when it came to voting. Well played.

Red Marlow (Team Blake) –  “That’s What I Love About Sunday”

Red Marlow effortlessly beat out Adam Cunningham for the best voice of the night, and that was not going to be an easy task. Blake is the perfect coach for Red because they can both learn a lot from each other.

Addison Agen (Team Adam) – “Lucky”

The performances came to a close with a solid number from Addison. She went the acoustic route, and it benefited her voice. Every note was hit with ease, and you could tell she knew she had wowed the crowd with that grin at the end.

Okay, so who will go home? Will Adam beat the odds and be sent to safety?

The Voice Results: Who Got the Boot?

With 11 people remaining in the mix, it was time to clip one away to leave us with the final ten performers of The Voice Season 13.

The performance show left us with a lot of emotions after some big acts went with songs that did not do them justice, and probably put them in the firing line as far as voting goes.

Last week, Adam Cunningham got a reprieve thanks to the instant save, but did he manage to remain in the competition for another week?

The show opened with Team Miley performing a colorful rendition of “Man! I Feel Like a Woman.” It was a great way to kick off the show and showed that some of her acts were very great performers.

Team Adam followed that up with a rendition of “Go Your Own Way.” To the surprise of absolutely nobody, it only served to show Adam Cunningham in a better light.

Will the show ever stop trying to make this dude a thing? There is such a thing as favoritism, and it’s clear the producers are betting big on Adam being the one to stick around.

It was then swiftly revealed which two acts brought up the rear and would have to sing for survival. Adam Cunningham and Janice Freeman were the two unlucky contestants.

That meant this was the second time in two weeks for Andy to be in this spot, was another instant save in store for him?

His performance of “Amazed” was a surprisingly good one. It was perfect, and he legit sung for his life. He knew it did not look good to be in the bottom again and wanted to sway votes his way.

But was it enough?

Meanwhile, Janice went with “Chandelier, ” and it was not great. That song is widely regarded as one of the highest-pitched songs around, so it boggles the mind as to why Janice would think it would be a good choice.

Her voice was loud, but it came across as though she was shouting for much of it and that’s not a good look.

Out of the two performances, Adam turned in the best one, and it would be a real travesty for him to go so soon.

Thankfully, Adam was saved!

Thus, Janice Freeman exited the competition!

What do you think of this?

Sound off below.
