American Idol is about to complete one of the most successful runs any series has ever had in TV history.
It produced record ratings for a couple of years, while also churning out memorable judges, incredible performances and, of course, a handful of talented singers.
Not every one of the contestants chosen below won their respective seasons.

Season 11’s folk-rock crooner Paul is a mega-talent. Plus, he was once to married Twilight star Nicki Reed. They got divorced, but nice catch!
6. Kellie Pickler
Country cutie Kellie Pickler giggled her way into America’s hearts on season 5. She is also a Dancing With The Stars winner!
