When Kourtney Kardashian dumped baby daddy Scott Disick last year, she made it clear that they were completely through.
Until she made it not so clear.
In fact, the reality stars have both been keeping this game up for months, teasing a reconciliation while never getting so close to suggest that it is actually happening.
Back in February, the two were seen out shopping together arm-in-arm, and fans thought, this is it! They"re back together!
Well, not really.
It turns out the entire excursion was shot for an episode of this season"s Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
In a preview clip for this Sunday"s premiere, Kourt and Scott shop for towels with momager Kris Jenner.
Kris suggests blue while Kourtney wants white while Scott appears totally clueless.
But this scripted scene isn"t really about towels, is it?
"When it comes to Scott, I"m not looking to get back together anytime soon," Kardashian reveals in her confessional.
"I don"t have specific boundaries set, but coming to help him pick out stuff for his kitchen in his new house as a friend, I"m totally OK with that," she continues.
"I don"t feel like I"m giving any false hope."
So, true to form, she"s being mysterious by using words like "soon" and "specific boundaries."
Earlier this month, she stuck to the "maybe, maybe not" script during an interview with Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb.
"We"re not getting back together right now, but I don"t know what the future holds in life," she told the hosts.
Scott, on the other hand, has made it clear he wants Kourtney back. That is, when he"s not boinking other women.
Meanwhile, Kourt is still reportedly getting it on with Justin Bieber.
So perhaps after these two are done getting their grooves on with the barely legals, they may find their way back to one another.
Until then, KUWTK will string us along, because it makes for a good storyline.
