It’s no secret that Khloe Kardashian desperately wants her estranged husband Lamar Odom to stay sober.
And word is the ex-NBA star is keen to grant her that wish, but only on one condition: that she abandons all plans to divorce him.
“Lam really wants to have a life with Khloe and he’s promising her he’ll go to rehab, if divorce is off the table,” a source told HollywoodLife.
“Deep down, Lamar wants to get better but even more than that, he wants Khloe in every way.”
This ultimatum is sure to exacerbate the feelings of guilt Khloe has over her husband’s condition.
Khloe reportedly believes part of the reason Lamar partied himself into an near-death overdose last year was because he was so distraught about their breakup.
Now, she’s afraid if she leaves him again, he’ll continue this downward spiral straight into death.
While Lamar stayed sober for several weeks after being released from the hospital, he was caught drinking on Easter Sunday just before attending church services with Khloe and her family that morning.
“He’s been so selfish recently, only thinking about himself and doing things that he knows is going to piss her off, like drinking,” the source added.
Khloe is not known to let anyone push her around, however, her one and only weakness seems to be Lamar.
