Ree Drummond Accused of Supporting Wild Horse Slaughter

Even if you’ve never watched Ree Drummond’s Pioneer Woman, you’ve probably seen her on The View or the Today Show or Good Morning America.

Cooking show hosts usually aren’t that controversial. Some are funny, some are hot, some are gay icons, some become memes.

Ree Drummond, however, is no stranger to being divisive. This time, she’s accused of supporting a mass horse slaughter.

Ree Drummond runs a blog titled Pioneer Woman, and it’s all about cooking for her family.

They live on a ranch in Oklahoma where her young children are homeschooled, so that’s the general vibe that she has going for her.

Ree has a cooking show, Pioneer Woman.

Of course, Ree Drummond has been accused of racism in the past.

At one point, she joked about having confused having a tan with being black.

Another time, she pulls “Asian hot wings” out of the oven as a game day snack, and members of her crew protest that they don’t “trust” the wings.

(To be clear: there are a lot of Asian and Asian-inspired wing sauce flavors; someone claiming to dislike or mistrust them might be xenophobic and definitely has bad taste, but that particular instance wasn’t necessarily racist)

This time, however, Ree Drummond stands accused of something very different.

Earlier this month, she traveled to Arizona and spoke at the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association’s trade show, writing on Facebook:

“The irony of me speaking to 3,500 cattlemen and cattlewomen was not lost on me, and it was an honor to speak about how much I’ve enjoyed sharing glimpses of ranch life on my blog, TV show, and social media for the past twelve (!) years.”

She received the Distinguished Service Award at the event.

But now she’s being slammed for partnering with an organization that allegedly supports the mass slaughter of Federally protected wild horses.

As reported by RadarOnline, Director of Wild Horse Affairs for the Wild Horse Freedom Federation, Debbie Coffey, writes:

“For many years, the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association has been pushing for the slaughter of America’s wild horses & burros, and their organization was listed on the Steering Committee of the secretive ‘Slaughter Summit’ held in Utah in 2017”

Coffey effectively accuses Ree Drummond of hypocrisy, of using horse motifs as part of her branding.

Furthermore, it looks like she believes that the Drummonds are making money from both sides of the wild horse issue.

“All the while, Drummond Land & Cattle Co., co-owned by Ree’s husband, Ladd Drummond, has been paid over $ 20 million in taxpayer dollars to warehouse captured wild horses on his private property.”

Coffey says: “Talk about buttering your bread on both sides.”

For those who aren’t steeped in the culture of … well, pretty much anything with hooves … the “Horse Slaughter Summit” in Utah was an invitation-only event for groups and individuals who believe that, well, wild horse populations need to be culled.

Wild horses are federally protected (animals who aren’t federally protected often run the risk of being hunted to extinction, for food or hides or for sport or simply because humans with guns find them inconvenient).

You’d think that a “horse slaughter” summit, which is emphatically not what they called it, would be about normalizing horse meat in the American diet or something.

(Eating horse is almost taboo, even though unlike dogs, cats, and humans, horses are rarely family members or part of society; this is inherited from British culture)

But this was actually about certain people feeling that the rangelands cannot sustain growing horse populations, and that some should be “humanely euthanized.”

We don’t know the true motives of everyone at the summit — some of them, at least, were certainly looking after their own financial interests. Wild horses can be inconvenient to some ranchers.

But no one is accusing Ree Drummond herself of having been there.

All that she did was address a cattle industry group. It absolutely fits her brand and we don’t see anything particularly sinister or hypocritical about her actions.

In fact, if her husband makes money off of wild horses being alive, doesn’t that — if anything — give her motive to want more wild horses around?

Just a thought.

Scott Baio: Accused of Physical Assault by Another Actor

Former child actress Nicole Eggert has accused Scott Baio of sexual abuse, alleging that he molested her starting at the age of 14 when they both worked on Charles in Charge.

One of the people who has backed up her story is former costar Alexander Polinsky.

In Polinsky’s new statement, he levels some accusations of his own at Scott Baio.

In a statement that Polinsky sent in to The Talk, he reveals:

“Working on the set of Charles in Charge from age 11 to 15 was no picnic, it was a toxic environment.”

Child actors are the most vulnerable people on any set. They deserve better.

“I witnessed Scott Baio acting inappropriately towards Nicole Eggert during my first year of working on the show.”

As Nicole has mentioned, some of Scott Baio’s alleged inappropriate behavior took place on or near the set.

“I walked in on them together behind the set. Nicole was on Scott’s lap and he did not appreciate my intrusion.”

That matches well with what Nicole has described.

“He yelled at me and called me various homophobic slurs.”

A horrible way to treat anyone, but an inexcusable way for a grown man to speak to a child.

This becomes even more upsetting, however, as Polinsky then details his own accusations.

“Growing up on the show I received regular verbal attacks, mental abuse, and I also suffered a physical assault at the hands of Scott Baio.”

What kind of disgusting adult physically assaults a child?

“There is no excuse for his behavior. It is abhorrent.”

He emphasizes Scott’s age difference (Scott Baio is 11 years older than Nicole; his age gap with Alexander is even wider)

“Both Nicole and I were minors. We deserved safe passage to do our jobs and also be kids.”

Polinsky then lays out what he believes needs to change in order to make a safer, better world.

“If we want to change the culture, we have to bring out the truth, take back control from the abusers, and make them listen to the pain of their victims.”

That is true. He also has less abstract advice.

“For the sake of the next generation of young artists we must empower parents and social workers to heed the signals, ask the proper questions, and protect children from monsters in the workplace.”

On-site safety monitors, particularly for children, could be vital to preventing situations like this from happening in the future. And those worried about being “falsely accused” should want that, too.

“The cycle of abuse must stop. Even 30 years after the acts, they still matter.”

As Nicole Eggert has described in detail, Scott Baio allegedly began his sexual abuse of her when she was 14 and he was 25.

He was an adult, he was a star, and he was effectively her boss. And, according to her accusations, he digitally penetrated her in the garage of his house.

The alleged abuse went on about once a week until she was 17, at which point the two had sexual intercourse. From her account, Baio may have lost interest at that point.

She also says that he cautioned her that if anyone found out, the show would be canceled and everyone would lose their jobs.

Nicole Eggert has reported Scott Baio to police, and we note that California law does give prosecutors one year to charge him now that police have been told (despite the time delay; this law was written specifically for situations of child abuse).

For his part, Scott Baio has vehemently denied Nicole Eggert’s accusations.

He has claimed that he and Nicole Eggert had sex, but only after she “seduced” him at his house and only when she was 18.

He has also claimed that he never saw Nicole off of the set of Charles in Charge.

Baio has attacked Nicole, claiming that she cannot be believed because her story has allegedly changed over the years.

Some wonder if there are others mustering the courage to speak out with their own stories of working with Scott Baio.

Kelly Clarkson Accused of Diva Behavior on The Voice

It seems like just yesterday that we were hearing who won Season 13 of The Voice, but Season 14 will be here before you know it.

This year, Kelly Clarkson is joining the The Voice as one of the coaches.

But … apparently things aren’t all smiles behind the scenes. In fact, a report claims that Clarkson is a total diva backstage and almost impossible to work with.

35-year-old Kelly Clarkson first rose to fame on the inaugural season of American Idol.

From her humble, “white trash” beginnings — her words — she skyrocketed to stardom with a successful music career.

As much as fans hate when Kelly Clarkson says stupid things, they love to see her shut down body-shamers in a very down-to-earth way. Mostly, they love her music.

Now, she’s joining Blake Shelton, Adam Levine, and Alicia Keys as a coach on The Voice.

But, according to RadarOnline‘s source, Kelly Clarkson’s alleged diva behavior is causing some tensions and unhappiness and the season hasn’t even begun to air.

Apparently, there are a number of problems.

“She’s not the person that everyone thought she was going to be.”

Based upon Kelly Clarkson’s branding, people probably expected a down-to-earth, minimal-nonsense singer with humble roots who is hesitant to bash anyone.

And the source gets pretty specific about what they got instead.

“She is bossy and argumentative.”

Apparently some of the problems began before she even walked in the door.

“The other judges, especially Blake, already had an issue with her.”

That issue, it seems, was financial in nature.

“Because of the amount of money they reportedly paid her to join the cast.”

But it goes beyond the bottom line and extends to promos.

“One of the main issues is that producers are making Kelly a central focus on everything.”

This sounds familiar.

“And she is also taking center stage on all of the promos that are being shot so far.”

You know how Kate Mulgrew was famously unhappy with how Jeri Ryan become front-and-center on every billboard and ad for Star Trek: Voyager back in the ’90s?

This sounds like that same kind of resentment — but with personality issues to make things personal.

The source goes on to list Kelly Clarkson’s other alleged grating habits.

“She comes in when she wants to.”

Oooh, that’s never good. And very diva.

“She seems to think that it is all one big game.”

I mean, it is literally a talent competition. It’s a game.

(But we get their meaning, here — her alleged behavior is unprofessional to an off-putting degree)

“At the same time, she is overly certain that she will win this season.”

Cavalier and cocky at the same time? Yikes.

“Of course Blake is irritated with Kelly! Everyone is.”

Blake’s come up more than once, perhaps because we’ve heard some things about Blake Shelton’s alleged diva behavior, too.

It sounds like they both need a dose of reality. They’re on The Voice. Nobody gets to put on airs when they’re judging a reality series. No matter how much they’re getting paid.

Cornell Fraternity Accused of "Pig Roast" Sex Contest

A fraternity at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York has been placed on probation after it was discovered that it made pledges go through with something totally heinous and disgusting.

According to the Daily Sun, the school’s student newspaper, prospective member of Zeta Beta Tau were forced to take part in a fat-shaming game called “Pig Roast.”

Prepare to very possibly get ill as you read about the rules and basic description below:

– Pledges earned points from fraternity brothers for having sex with overweight women.

– The women were never told that they were part of any kind of competition.

– If there was a tie at the end, the victory was awarded to the person who had slept with the heaviest partner.

Details of this wildly inappropriate and truly despicable first leaked last year, prompting an investigation by the university’s Fraternity and Sorority Board.

The investigation concluded last month.

And, clearly, enough evidence existed that proved to the board that such a Pig Roast competition really was happening at the fraternity.

As a result, the chapter has been placed on a two-year probation, and the Ivy League university and the frat’s national office denounced the game, which was the latest example of a Greek organization behaving badly.

Moreover, the fraternity will be required to partake in at least two events during the school’s Sexual Assault Awareness Week.

It also must hire a live-in adviser for the remainder of the probation period and subject itself to external reviews.

In a statement released Saturday, the Cornell chapter of the fraternity said it was in “disbelief” over the allegations of misconduct.

That said, it didn’t deny the allegations.

“The allegations described are contrary to the values that Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity espouses and works in direct conflict with the beliefs and mission of the Kappa Chapter,” the statement said.

We guess those in charge are trying to claim they weren’t aware this gross game was being played?

Concluded the statement:

“Our chapter has worked closely with the Zeta Beta Tau International Headquarters to draft and execute an action plan that addresses this alleged behavior.”

Meanwhile, Ryan Lombardi, Cornell’s vice president for student and campus life, referred to the game “abhorrent,” per the Daily Sun.

“Behavior that degrades and dehumanizes women contributes to a climate and culture of tolerance for sexual violence,” he said.

We agree.

We strongly agree.

Jill Duggar, Derick Dillard Accused of Child Neglect

It’s been a rough few months for Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard.

First, Derick was fired from Counting On after directing a transphobic social media tirade at fellow TLC star Jazz Jennings.

Now, he and Jill are the subjects of constant scrutiny of overeager fans.

Normally, that’s not a bad thing, especially since Jill and Derick rely on donations from fans to help them pay the bills.

But unfortunately for the Dillards, much of the attention they’ve been receiving has been negative.

In the past, Jill has been mom-shamed for everything from how she dresses her kids to how she addresses concerns over their health.

This time around, however, the criticism is directed at Derick, who may have posted evidence of his unsafe parenting practices on Instagram.

The photo below appeared on Derick’s page yesterday, much to the chagrin of some of his followers:

That’s Jill and Derick’s 7-month-old son Samuel.

“Sam loves his new toy! Number 3 on top gifts for 6-month olds for 2018. Trending up from number 4 gift since 1950,” Derick captioned the pic.

A funny joke, we suppose (though it would be funnier if plastic water one-time-use water bottles were a thing in 1950), but many fans didn’t see the humor.

“Be careful with those plastic bottles,” wrote one IG user.

“My daughter gave her 7 month old one and somehow the lid came off. If we hadn’t seen it she could have choked.”

Some followers were a bit more blunt in ther assessment of the situation:

“Babies have choked and died doing that, you f–king moron,” wrote one fan.

“Ther are toxics in plastic, Derick. Are you an idiot?” commented another.

We’re guessing the harsh judgment of Derick has at least something to do with the fact that he’s a known cyber-bully who seems to enjoy harassing others on social media.

Of course, the main reason is that it’s seriously stupid to let a baby play with a discarded plastic water bottle.

This has been your daily installment of “Don’t Be Like Derick Dillard.”

Maci Bookout Accused of Lying to Fans on Teen Mom OG

If you watch a lot of reality television, then you’re probably aware that the genre is somewhat ironically named.

There’s no question that it qualifies as “television,” but the “reality” part is a bit more dubious.

Take Maci Bookout’s storyline on the latest season of Teen Mom OG, for example:

Much of Maci’s recent drama on the show has revolved around her continuing conflict with Ryan Edwards, the father of her oldest son, Bentley.

If you’re a fan of the series, then you’re likely aware that Ryan has struggled with heroin addiction.

Edwards checked into rehab immediately after marrying Mackenzie Standifer last summer, and though he’s reportedly been sober ever since, his co-parenting relationship with Maci has continued to suffer.

Or so MTV producers would have us believe.

According to the show, Maci and Ryan are locked in a custody battle that’s tearing both of their families apart.

But eagle-eyed viewers believe the whole thing has been orchestrated for the sake of bringing some additional drama to the show’s current season.

At one point the audience was led to believe that Ryan went several weeks without seeing Bentley following a Father’s Day fight with Maci.

Those who have studied the show closely and cross-referenced its version events with the posts on Ryan’s Instagram page claim that that’s quite clearly not the case.

“Maci’s storyline this season is total BS,” one fan wrote.

“Go figure lol. Here are some pictures with dates proving that Bentley has been able to see his dad and grandparents regularly since July. Tomorrow’s episode takes place at the end of October where Ryan supposedly hasn’t seen him since Father’s Day.”

And it seems that’s not the only instance of dishonesty on the part of the show’s cast and producers.

“The show also plays fast and loose with timelines,” wrote one commenter before citing several examples from the most recent season.

“There were several scenes with Cate and Tyler that made it appear it was the same day or same week but the color of their house went back and forth several times from blue to white back to blue so it was clear that the scenes were out of order and done further apart than what the storyline suggested.”

Like we said, every reality show manipulates the events of its subjects’ lives in order to craft coherent storylines, but it seems Teen Mom OG producers have been rather sloppy about it this season.

And the show’s producers appear to have committed a cardinal sin by underestimating the intelligence of their viewers.

Watch Teen Mom OG online to join the search for glaring continuity errors.

Travis Scott: Accused of Cheating on Kylie Jenner with "Kinda" Friend

In the very near future, neither Kylie Jenner nor Travis Scott will be getting very much sleep.

That’s what happens when you’re parents of a newborn.

On a related note, meanwhile, Travis Scott has now been accused of engaging in a different kind of sleep with someone behind Kylie’s back.

By which we mean Scott may have had sex with another woman!

And that’s just the tip of the scandalous iceberg, according to a Radar Online insider.

Over the past several weeks, fans of the reality star and the rapper have been unable to decipher when they are still a romantic item or not.

The celebrities have scarcely been seen together in public, while Scott was recently given a chance to comment on the bun on Jenner’s oven…

… and chose instead to remain vague and mysterious.

“I don’t want to talk about that. They’re just guesses. Let them keep fishing,” Scott told Billboard Magazine in early January when asked about becoming a father.

Not the words of someone too psyched to change diapers, are they?

Fast forward to Monday and the rumor that Kylie and Travis got into a major blowup over the latter’s allegedly wandering penis.

The argument supposedly took place after Scott “showed up unexpectedly to [Kris Jenner’s] house, where [Kylie has] been staying lately,” a source explains to Radar.

As for the subject matter at hand?

“She flipped out on him and accused him of cheating on her with several women during her pregnancy, including a girl that she is kinda friends with!” this report continues.

Yikes.

Not cool, T-Money. Not cool at all, man.

Let us say here, however, that we cannot verify this allegation and that Kylie herself has not said a negative word about her main man in quite some time.

She and Scott got together about a year ago and Kylie is due to give birth some time in the next few weeks.

Do the math (12 months minute nine months, basically) and it doesn’t take long to realize that Kylie got knocked up pretty quickly after the pair started dating.

We’d have to imagine the pregnancy was an accident.

Moreover, there’s been chatter that Kylie broke up with Scott toward the end of last year and that she’s even back in contact with Tyga.

Once again, this is just speculation because Jenner and Scott have been mum for months on the status of their romance… although one could jump to a pretty obvious conclusion about what this means.

We’ve been forced to do nothing but make assumptions about Kylie ever since the Internet exploded with her pregnancy news.

The 20-year old has basically gone into hiding, refusing to show off her baby bump or even discuss the impending child.

“Kylie just wants Travis to leave her alone right now, and she doesn’t want anyone around” except mom Kris Jenner and best friend Jordyn Woods, Radar writes.

The website goes on to refer to Jenner as “hormonal,” which seems like a low and sort of sexist blow.

It concludes that Scott does want to make his relationship work.

“He has been trying to do everything he can to win her back, including sending her flowers and gifts,” this source says, adding:

“But she is just so emotional right now that she doesn’t know what she wants.

“The fact that they are still talking and in communication leads some of her friends to believe that they will fix things before the birth of the baby.”

Let’s all hope so.

Joel Kramer Accused of Sexual Misconduct by Two More Women; Jamie Lee Curtis Speaks Out

Over the weekend, actress Eliza Dushku bravely revealed that she had been molested while filming True Lies at age 12. It’s one of the saddest #MeToo stories, and one that she almost didn’t share with the public.

What caused her to break her silence was learning that the man she named, Joel Kramer, still works in the industry. That he apparently still works with young girls.

Jamie Lee Curtis, who starred in True Lies, is speaking out in response to Dushku’s statement. And, meanwhile, two more accusations have been leveled at Joel Kramer.

Eliza Dushku is known for her roles on shows like Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Dollhouse and in films like Bring It On. And Tru Calling.

Whether you’re as big a fan as I am or not, reading her account of being gradually groomed and then assaulted as a preteen by the film’s stunt coordinator was heartbreaking.

Hearing that she was “accidentally” injured on set after an adult friend of hers confronted Joel Kramer, who was also responsible for her safety, is a grim reminder that the stakes of reporting sexual assault can be very, very high.

Joel Kramer, the man she accuses of these sickening acts, is still working in the industry. Several years back, he worked regularly on Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. And he even worked on the pilot episode of Star Trek Discovery.

It was only when Eliza Dushku realized that he was still responsible for people’s safety — for children’s safety — that she decided to speak out.

At the time of the alleged sexual assault, Eliza Dushku did tell people, including the woman who acted as her legal guardian on the set. That woman says that she reported it to someone “in authority,” but to no avail.

Penning a lengthy essay in The Huffington Post, Jamie Lee Curtis shares that Eliza Dushku told her about this, only many years after the events.

“[Dushku] had shared that story with me privately a few years ago. I was shocked and saddened then and still am today.”

She talks about the particular creepiness that comes when an alleged sexual predator is also in charge of people’s physical safety.

“What compounds the difficulty here is that the stunt coordinator in question was literally in charge of our lives, our safety. Stunts always require an enormous amount of trust and on that movie in particular we all were often suspended by wires and harnesses, very high in the air.”

Eliza Dushku mentions in her own post that her adult friend confronting Joel Kramer was soon followed by Eliza being hospitalized with broken ribs. She does not consider that a coincidence.

Jamie Lee Curtis acknowledges the power given to stunt coordinators.

“In my case, I was suspended under a helicopter by a wire, holding onto the hand of the man who is now being accused of abuse.”

If you’ll recall, Eliza says that he gained her trust and that of her parents, taking her to a hotel with a totally plausible-sounding explanation.

But she says that he put on a movie, emerged naked from the bathroom, and climbed on top of her where she lay on the bed. She was 12, he was 36.

For his part, Joel Kramer has denied the accusations, speaking to Deadline and claiming:

“These are outlandish, manipulated lies. I never sexually molested her. I’m sick to my stomach. It’s not true. I think she’s making this up in her imagination.”

His statement continues:

“This is all lies. Lies, lies, lies. This is just crazy. I treated her like a daughter. We all looked out for her.”

We’re not sure how long those denials are going to hold up, because Eliza Dushku was the first to speak out … but not the only one.

Deadline reports that two more women accuse Joel Kramer of sexual assault.

A stuntwoman who worked for Kramer apparently invited her younger sister and her sister’s friend, both 10th graders in 1997, to the set where she was working. This is when Kramer allegedly lured the girls out to go swimming.

Laura Albert says that Kramer then “pulled his dick out and said, ‘You cannot handle this."” And then allegedly swam towards the girls.

Albert continues, alleging: “My sister ended up leaving and she left her friend there with Joel. Joel had sex with the 16-year-old girl. She was 16. He was 39. His room number was 424.”

Joel claims that he didn’t know the girl’s age, that he was haunted by the knowledge … while pointing out that she was legally old enough to consent in that state.

Another stuntwoman has come forward but remained anonymous, accusing Joel Kramer of having assaulted her in the late ’70s or early ’80s.

She says that a group of stunt performers were getting together for drinks, and she ended up riding in Joel’s vehicle, where the alleged assault took place.

“Instead of driving me to the other place, he drove us up into the hills on the south side of Ventura Boulevard into a quiet residential area. He pulled his vehicle over, unzipped his pants, pulled out his penis.”

She clarifies that she was not looking to date him. They were only supposed to drive to meet up with their friends. She describes the alleged assault:

“He grabbed me by the back of my head and forced my face down onto his penis and came in my mouth. He then released my head and cleaned himself up.”

If her memory of the incident seems fuzzy, we should note that trauma can make certain details painfully clear in your memory, but make other memories seem vague. (Some argue that impaired memory of trauma is a survival instinct)

“I must have [cleaned up] as well. I really don’t remember if he gave me tissues. I cannot remember if words were exchanged of any type, but he did drive me to the other place, where the group had gone.”

Reporting sexual assault is bad now, but it was worse in the ’70s and ’80s.

“I did not tell anyone, because I was frightened, scared and ashamed. I also knew that if I were to report this to the stunt group, the police or SAG, I would have no chance in a career as a stunt woman.”

Joel Kramer calls this accusation a “fabrication.”

Kramer has been in the business for decades. We can’t help but wonder how many more women will come forward with horror stories.

Aziz Ansari Accused of Sexual Misconduct, Assault

Aziz Ansari is the latest big name to be accused of sexual misconduct.

In the case of the former Parks and Recreation star, and current creator of Netflix’s Master of None, an unnamed photographer has come out and accused Ansari of going way too far on a date last year.

According to a series of text messages between Ansari and this alleged victim, the incident occurred in September.

The woman, who is referred to a “Grace” in her account to Babe.net, says she and Ansari bonded at an after-Emmy Awards party due to their shared passion for photography.

They later went out and ended up back at his apartment.

Grace says she felt “uncomfortable” with how quickly Ansari undressed himself and then her.

Within moments of their first kiss, Grace says Ansari went to get a condom.

“I said something like, ‘Whoa, let’s relax for a sec, let’s chill,"” recounts Grace, adding that the actor then briefly performed oral sex on her before asking her to do the same to him.

“It was really quick. Everything was pretty much touched and done within ten minutes of hooking up, except for actual sex,” Grace now details.

Ansari would frequently place his fingers in Grace’s mouth and then try to “finger” her vagina, she says, emphasizing that he also forced her hand onto his penis.

Often.

“He probably moved my hand to his dick five to seven times,” she says. “He really kept doing it after I moved it away.”

Grace describes the troubling encounter as seeming like a “game” to Ansari, who she alleges kept following her around his apartment.

She says she gave him repeated “verbal and non-verbal” clues that she was NOT interested in going any further.

She eventually excused herself to go into the bathroom and collect herself.

After relaying her discomfort to Ansari, she thought the possibility of sex was finally no longer an issue in his mind and she stuck around for a little while longer.

But after the star again motioned for her to give him a blow job and made out with her once more, she left the residence in tears.

“I cried the whole ride home. At that point I felt violated,” says Grace.

The following day, Grace texted Ansari.

“Last night might have been fun for you it wasn’t for me,” she said in a message that she saved and has now made public.

“When we got back to your place, you ignored clear, non-verbal cues; you kept going with advances. You had to have noticed I was uncomfortable,” she continued.

text to aziz

Ansari then replied and did apologize for his actions.

The woman says she decided to come forward after she saw Ansari wearing a Time’s Up pin at the Golden Globes, supporting the foundation that has been set up to support victims of sexual assault.

Ansari won Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy TV Series for his lead role on Master of None at the event.

Grace says her friends helped her grapple with the aftermath of her evening with Ansari.

“It took a really long time for me to validate this as sexual assault,” she told Babe.

“I was debating if this was an awkward sexual experience or sexual assault. And that’s why I confronted so many of my friends and listened to what they had to say, because I wanted validation that it was actually bad.”

Concludes Grace:

“I believe that I was taken advantage of by Aziz.”

“I was not listened to and ignored. It was by far the worst experience with a man I’ve ever had.”

Steven Seagal Accused of Rape By Regina Simons

As more women courageously come forward and share their #MeToo stories, some once-beloved men have been unmasked as sex monsters.

And then there’s Steven Seagal, whom no one has ever liked. Seagal’s been accused by Portia de Rossi and others of gross sexual harassment and misconduct.

Now he is accused of rape.

Recently, we have heard some deeply alarming stories about Steven Seagal.

Lisa Guerrero spoke of her harrowing encounter with Seagal back in the ’90s. She describes having been invited to his house, but she insisted that the casting director accompany her.

As uncomfortable as she felt while he appeared to wear only a robe while sitting, as if on a throne, in his living room, she can’t help but wonder how much worse the experience might have been had it only been the two of them.

And then Portia de Rossi shared her horrible experience with him, also at his home, where a professional meeting went from bad to worse when Seagal allegedly “unzipped” in front of her.

Dutch model Faviola Dadis revealed that she was lured under the guise of an audition to a hotel room, where Seagal allegedly began folding her breasts and crotch and where she describes his security team as having blocked her until she began making noise in an effort to get help.

Horrifying.

Among the several woman to accuse Steven Seagal of being a sex monster is 43-year-old model, Regina Simons.

But she’s not talking about a narrow escape or being groped. She accuses Steven Seagal of rape.

Regina worked as an extra on the 1994 film, On Deadly Ground.

At the time, she was only 18 years old, and was a shy girl from a conservative Mormon background.

The experience with Steven Seagal that she bravely describes to The Wrap is one that no one should ever have had to endure.

She says that she was invited to the “wrap party” at Steven Seagal’s house, weeks after she filmed her scene. When she arrived, she was the only guest.

“I asked him where is everyone and he said that they had already left.”

And that, she describes, is when things went from weird to awful.

“He took me into this room and then just closed the door and started kissing me.”

Despicable.

“He then took my clothes off and before I knew it he was on top of me, raping me…”

That is as bad as it gets.

“I wasn’t sexually active yet.”

In case anyone is ignorant enough to ask why she didn’t try to fight off the man three times her size, she describes her experience in chilling detail.

“People always talk about fight-or-flight. But no one talks about the freeze.”

Freezing up is a normal preservation instinct! No sudden movements to flee or to fight can often reduce your chances of getting murdered.

“The only way I’m able to describe it is I literally felt like I left my body.”

That is classic dissociation. Do you ever just “go somewhere else” to avoid laughing or crying in socially inappropriate situations? Well, trauma survivors frequently dissociate during and then, later, after traumatic events. It’s a coping mechanism.

“I think because of the situation I was completely caught off guard. Tears were coming down my face and I know that it hurt. He was three times my size.”

“I was crying when he was on top of me.”

It’s taken her a long time to come forward.

“Even now, my 43-year-old mind knows how to process this and understand what a loving relationship is and what consensual sex is. And there was none of that.”

She’s now a mother. Thinking back, though, she recalls making a beeline for the door as soon as she perceived that it was safe for her to go.

“All I remember is him asking me if I needed any money.”

Sickening.

“I shook my head and ran towards my car. I cried the whole way home.”

She’s reported this to the LAPD, and she’s not the only one. We won’t hold our breath for anyone to actually be held accountable, though.
