Jinger Duggar Shares New Baby Pic, Raises Concern Among Fans

Jinger Duggar g had a reason to celebrate late last week.

But the way in which this reality star did show has given followers a reason to be concerned.

Allow us to explain…

On August 19, Jinger and husband Jeremy Vuolo gave fans a glimpse at their precious first daughter, Felicity Nicole, as a way to pay tribute to her first-ever birthday.

Felicity is only a month old, but still… that counts as a birthday.

Just ask any first-time parent.

To mark the occasion, Jinger posted a few pictures of her adorable baby on Instagram.

“Felicity is one month old today!” Jinger wrote as a simple caption to the following image:

Then, on Sunday, Jinger followed up this snapshot with two more.

The first leads this article up top and features the bundle of joy outside with her proud parents.

The second inlcuded with it a caption that reads “Those eyes!” because, well… just look at those eyes on young Felicity!

All these photos represent indisputable evidence that Felicity is pretty darn happy, healthy and cute, right?

Actually, that may be wrong, some Internet users are now saying.

Indeed, while some folks out there have labeled the official one-month picture as one of the most endearing in social media history, something about Felicity’s face and skin tone have others concerned.

“Wow, she looks blue. Is she okay? Seriously. I am not trying to be critical or mean,” one fan wrote as a comment, while another remark echoed this sentiment:

“I was really alarmed when I saw this picture. She is purple, and that’s not normal. You are right to comment as you did. I hope they take her in and get her checked out.”

We don’t think these people are trying to be trolls.

They very likely have a legitimate worry (in their mind) over Felicity.

But still.

Come on now, folks!

There’s only so much you can tell by a picture and you should maybe think twice (heck, maybe even three times) before setting up such alarms online.

As another follower put it well, chill out with the “scary, negative speculation,” okay?!?

The Vuolos, of course, live in Laredo, Texas, making Jinger the first Duggar sibling to relocate outside of Tontitown, Arkansas permanently.

Upon becoming a father for the first time, Jeremy gushed back in mid-July:

“God is so kind. Jinger gave birth to Felicity Nicole Vuolo this morning at 4:37 a.m.

“Felicity weighs 8 lbs and 3 oz, and is 19.5 inches long. Both mom and baby are healthy, doing great, and resting well.

“We are very thankful for her safe arrival and look forward to life as parents!”

As for why they chose Felicity as their chilld’s name? We’ll go ahead and let Jinger explain!

Demi Leaves Rehab After Just 5 Days; Fans Express Concern on Social Media

In the weeks since Demi Lovato suffered an overdose that nearly claimed her life, the outpouring of support and concern from fans has been constant.

Millions were relieved by reports that Lovato had checked into rehab earlier this week after spending several days at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles.

Now, however, the latest update from Demi’s inner circle has led to a new round of fears for the beloved singer’s health.

According to Radar Online, Lovato checked out of rehab earlier this week after just five days of treatment.

Sources close to Lovato say she’s currently in Chicago with her mother.

Fortunately, the unexpected trip is not Demi’s way of avoiding the rigors of recovery — quite the opposite, in fact.

Lovato is in Illinois to visit Timberline Knolls, the facility where she sought treatment when she first decided to get sober back in 2012.

“Demi and her mom flew to Chicago together, where she is meeting with a team of doctors that were very influential to her in early recovery,” a source close to the situation tells Radar.

The insider adds that Lovato “trusts the team of doctors at the facility with her life.”

Even though it was at Timberline where Demi got sober for the first time, she was apparently reluctant to return to the facility due to feelings of shame regarding her relapse.

“The team at Timberline reached out to Demi to try and convince her to get treatment there after her overdose, but she was too ashamed and embarrassed to go there because of their long history,” says the source.

“After a lot of consideration, Demi and her mom wanted to talk to them because they wanted to see what they recommend for her treatment.”

Despite her closeness with the staff at Timberline, Demi is reportedly planning to return to Arizona this week where she has already begun treatment.

In other news, Lovato has canceled her remaining tour dates and plans to spend the next several months focusing on her recovery.

Janet Jackson Calls Cops Due to Child Welfare Concern

According to multiple news outlets, Janet Jackson called the police on Saturday night because was concerned about the emotional and/or physical well-being of her one-year-old son, Eissa Al Mana.

He was with his father and the singer’s ex-husband at the time, Wissam Al Mana.

Per Entertainment Tonight, authorities in Malibu County responded to a call shortly before 10 p.m. at the Nobu Hotel, where they were asked to check on the welfare of Jackson’s only child.

Speaking to ET’s Kevin Frazier, Janet’s brother Randy explained that his sibling dialed 911 after being contacted by a nanny who was working for Al Mana.

This nanny said she was scared by the way Al Mana was acting.

Randy told the aforementioned website that the nanny was “terrified by his behavior and locked herself in a bathroom, so she could contact Janet.”

Yikes, huh?

Further details remain mostly unknown at this time, however.

Police did not find anyone on danger at the scene and reportedly told Janet and Wissam to handle the matter civility.

No charges of any kind will be filed.

Jackson and Al Mana welcomed their son on January 2, 2017… only to split up three months later.

What could have possibly happened? How did they get married and then choose to go their separate ways almost as soon as their family was established?

“One of the many divorcing factors was their religious beliefs,” a source told E! News early last year, adding:

“Wissam and Janet did not feel that they were on the same page when it came to this and the way they wanted their child to get raised.”

Interesting, right?

It appears as if Janet and her estranged spouse had conflict from the beginning over their son and how he ought to be raised/treated/taught.

Janet is more of a free spirit than Wissam. Cultural difference and backgrounds played a major role,” this same source said.

Jackson, meanwhile, has remained mostly off the radar and silent since becoming a first-time mother.

But she was recognized for her legendary career at the Billboard Music Awards in May, performing a medley of smash hits on stage and giving and impressive speech.

“I’m deeply humbled and grateful for this award,” she said, alluding to the #MeToo movement and the ongoing power of this feminist movement in society:

“I believe that for all the challenges… we live a great moment in history. It’s a moment that at long last women have made it clear that we will not be controlled, manipulated or abused.

“I stand with those women and those men.”

Josie Duggar: Fans Show Concern For 8-Year-Old"s Education

Josie Duggar is the youngest of her parents’ 19 children, and some fans are worried that her needs are being overlooked.

Their concerns were prompted by a photo that’s been making its way across social media this week.

“Look who finished the whole grade! #teacherlife #bestlife,” the pic was captioned.

The source of the photo is unknown, but as In Touch Weekly reports, it’s believed to have originated on the Instagram page of Laurie DeMasie, a longtime friend of Jana Duggar.

The image has been shared numerous times on Reddit’s Duggar-focused message boards.

Unfortunately, the reason for its popularity among Duggar fans has little to do with pride in Josie’s accomplishments, and much to do with concerns that she’s not progressing at the same rate as her peers.

Many commenters on Reddit feel the page of schoolwork that Josie’s displaying may be evidence of a developmental disability.

“Oh no, looking at this photo and the page in that book feels awkward because I teach kids Josie’s age,” one user remarked.

“I feel it’s reasonable to think that she might have special education needs. If so, the Duggars won’t know how to change the education curriculum to suit Josie’s needs.”

The Duggars homeschool their children, and some feel that that practice, combined with the size of the family and Jim Bob and Michelle’s distrust of modern medical testing could lead to some of their children “slipping through the cracks.”

“I worry that JB and Michelle probably are ignorant of education difficulties like Dyslexia (very common, very easily helped if managed properly), and instead having one of their strange IBLP beliefs about ‘curing’ needs like that,” the commenter continued.

One fan suggested that additional cause for concern might be found in Jim Bob and Michelle’s 2011 memoir:

“I think they mentioned in the book JB had Dyslexia,” writes the Reddit user.

Another commenter expressed her belief that even if Josie is suffering from a learning disorder, her parents are primarily to blame for her lack of progress:

“Yeah, it is possible that she has some kind of learning disability or cognitive delay to at least partially explain this,” another user added.

“That said though, my friend teaches Grade 2, so her oldest students might be Josie’s age, and from what she has told me even her most delayed student (who has Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders) is doing work that is harder than this.”

She added that the same controversial homeschool curriculum that “worked” for the older Duggar children may prove insufficient to Josie’s needs:

“It might be a combination of Josie having extra difficulties, and neither the Duggars nor any of their tutors knowing how to teach special ed, but we don’t know for sure, and every child is different.” 

It’s unlikely that the Duggars will ever comment on this matter themselves.

But clearly, fans are hoping Josie’s parents will do everything in their power to find whatever help she needs.

Kendra Caldwell: Fans Express Concern For Joseph Duggar"s Wife

Just months after announcing their courtship, Joseph Duggar and Kendra Caldwell got married in front of over 1,500 guests in a lavish ceremony in Arkansas earlier this month.

It’s customary for members of the Duggar clan to tie the knot soon after beginning a relationship (Young folks tend to hurry the process along when they’re denied any sort of premarital sexual contact. Go figure.), but in many other ways Joe and Kendra have broken with tradition.

For starters, Kendra courted Jedidiah Duggar before she became romantically involved with his brother Joseph.

Additionally, the young couple skipped their honeymoon, which may lend credibility to the rumors that Kendra is already pregnant.

Whatever the case, something unusual is taking place with these two, and the situation has many fans concerned for Kendra.

Whether they’re members of the family by birth or marriage, all Duggar women are expected to be subservient to the men in their lives.

First, they follow the rules set by their father, then by their husbands.

Due to both her age (Kendra is just 18) and the unusual nature of her circumstances, Kendra has piqued the interest of Counting On viewers — and not necessarily in a good way.

Though she seems eager to pursue marriage and motherhood, the consensus amongst Duggar detractors is that Kendra has been forced to rush into both without time to decide if she’s ready.

“She doesn’t get to pursue an education or explore other avenues. She has been raised to be subservient to a man and to be nothing more than a breeder,” wrote one fan on the Duggars’ official Facebook page.

“It isn’t something to celebrate. It’s incredibly sad,” commented another follower.

A third took things a step further, describing Kendra as a “poor, young, brainwashed girl.”

But one person who doesn’t seem worried about taking on such tremendous responsibilities at such a young age is Kendra.

In footage from Joseph and Kendra’s first date, the woman seems giddy with excitement.

In interviews for the Duggars’ reality show, she speaks of Joseph in glowing terms and pines for their future together.

It’s true that she likely has no idea what she’s getting herself into, but that’s true of virtually all 18-year-olds in all situations.

Of course, in most cases, teenagers have the ability to change their minds if they realize they’ve made a terrible mistake — a luxury that will not be afforded to Kendra.

Audrey Roloff Addresses New Health Concern: This is "No Joke"

Mentally, Audrey Roloff is happier than she’s ever been right now.

That’s what happens when you become a first-time mother.

Physically, however, the Little People, Big World star is struggling.

On September 10, Audrey and Jeremy welcomed a daughter named Ember Jean into their loving household, over a week after the tiny human being was due.

But the wait was obviously well worth it, considering the sheer joy Audrey and Jeremy have been experiencing ever since.

“We are in complete awe of the miracle of life, and feeling so blessed to be entrusted with such a beautiful daughter,” wrote Audrey shortly after giving birth.

She added via Instagram:

“Sweet little Ember, may you always be a light in the darkness, glowing in all you do, enduring, feirce, and hard to extinguish;)

“May you always believe in the more that is within you, and when stoked and kindled by your Creator – may you be able to burn and glow even MORE than you ever could on you own.”

But while Roloff is high over the proverbial moon concerning her child, the reality star also has a health concern to now worry about.

In an IG Stories post she shared this week, an sick-looking Roloff said that she could “now sympathize with all you moms out there who’ve had mastitis… it’s no joke.”

For the unaware: Mastitis is a breast inflammation usually caused by infection.

The condition can be caused by plugged milk ducts, engorgement or milk stasis… and it can suck a whole lot.

One can feel as if one has come down with a severe case of the flu if one has mastitis, which is typically cured through antibiotics and rest.

But good luck getting rest with a newborn at home, right?!?

We have no doubt Jeremy will at least do all he can to help his wife rest whenever possible.

Thankfully, the condition often clears up after just a few days and breastfeeding actually helps it do so because it clears the milk out from the boob.

This is especially great news for Ember. Eat up, little one!

Upon becoming a dad, Jeremy wrote the following on his Instagram page:

Jill Duggar: Frightening Health Concern Revealed?

For several months now, rumors about Derick Dillard’s health problems have been circulating amongst Duggar family fans.

Trailers seemed to promise that Dillard would confront those issues during the current season of Counting On, but thus far, the nature of his ailments remains a mystery.

And now, it seems the young Dillard clan may have even greater cause for concern, as Jill Duggar has received some frightening news from doctors.

On this week’s episode of Counting On, Jill went in for a routine checkup and was informed that her arteries appeared to have narrowed.

Jill took the news in stride, but no one wants to hear that their arteries have narrowed, particularly during a pregnancy.

The 25-year-old scheduled some follow-up tests, but the episode ended on something of a cliffhanger. 

(Hey, with Counting On ratings plummeting, the Duggars are doing what they can for storylines these days.)

The episode filmed several months ago, and there have been no further updates on Jill’s condition, so it’s probably safe to assume that there’s no immediate cause for grave concern.

Still, between Derick’s issues and Jill’s recent diagnosis, fans are left with a lot of questions.

The first and foremost of which is:

What exactly is going on with these two?

As fans of Counting On know, Jill and Derick recently returned from ten months in El Salvador, where they performed missionary work in one of the Central American country’s more impoverished communities.

They frequently spoke of the sub-standard living conditions in their community, and fans expressed concerns about Jill and Derick living in the Zika zone.

Jill didn’t get pregnant until after the couple had returned to the states, and the Dillards claim to have gotten the go-ahead from a doctor before conceiving.

In all likelihood, the Dillards’ health concerns are in no way related to Zika (though many questions remain about the virus’ effects on grown-ups).

However, now that both of them are ailing, it seems unlikely that their issues are in no way related to the time they spent abroad.

Our thoughts go out to the Dillards during this difficult time.

Kate Middleton Weight Loss Sparks Concern, Speculation

Kate Middleton has been criticized for her figure over the years, many times for no reason and often to the point of uncalled for speculation.

Could she be suffering from a dangerous condition, however?

According to the National Enquirer (we know), the Duchess of Cambridge is hiding shocking secret no one could’ve ever seen coming:

A secret battle with bulimia that is taking its toll on her health.

Prince William’s wife has reportedly dropped to a scary 89 pounds (even scarier considering she’s 5’9″) if this report is to be believed.

The “secret battle,” as it’s called, has left the family heartbroken, with a bandage on her finger of all things allegedly proving it’s true.

How is that possible, and what is she doing to turn it around?

We’re going to ahead and say it’s not possible – some women are just naturally thin, and you can’t turn around a problem that doesn’t exist.

It’s not like we haven’t heard it all before, either. Many times.

Just last fall, Life & Style published a cover story that claimed Kate Middleton is pregnant, but with a similar health crisis twist to boot:

She’s a gaunt 90 pounds while expecting royal baby #3.

“Despite her shockingly thin appearance, Kate Middleton can’t hide her joy at welcoming a third child with Prince William,” reads the article.

“The 34-year-old is expecting baby No. 3.”

Yes, this was a real story published in September so it obviously wasn’t true that “Kate has told her family about the pregnancy.”

Nor should we believe that people close to Middleton have “expressed concern” about her slender frame in recent months … or ever.

Yes, Kate is “super slender,” the magazine writes.

That is literally the case, but that’s where the real facts end and – shout out to Kellyanne Conway! – the alternative ones begin in a hurry.

In that case, a so-called “medical expert” who has never met Kate claimed that “she’s about 90 pounds” and said William is very concerned.

He supposedly “called in top medical experts” because the father of two feels like his wife “is all skin and bones and has no energy.”

She has been called the laziest royal in history, but that has nothing to do with her weight and everything to do with her lifestyle choices.

Kate has chosen to be a mother above all else, and to keep her family “normal” and out of the public eye as much as she possibly can.

Bottom line: You can’t believe everything you read. 

Especially not when it comes to Kate’s weight and the reasons behind it. A good tabloid headline does not a fact-based article make.

The Teen Mom 2 star has been lambasted on social media for everything from her prescription drug abuse to rushing her daughters off to school without breakfast.

So in a way, we guess it might be something of a relief for Leah to be ridiculed for something that has nothing to do with her allegedly unfit parenting.

But of course, it’s much more likely that this latest round of abuse from random strangers on social media is just as nightmarish as all the others.

Leah went swimming in an above-ground pool that appears to be in a parking lot over the weekend, because West Virginia. (Just kidding, WV peeps!)

And it seems a lot of her social media followers feel that Leah is looking unhealthily gaunt these days:

“Jesus! eat a burger gf!” wrote one fan.

“Leah has always been thin, but she was a healthy thin,” another commented.

“This is just too thin especially with her bones sticking out in her chest.”

It’s true that Leah has always been thin, but she does seem to be skinnier than usual these days.

Of course, this is social media we’re talking about, so it wasn’t enough for fans to make that observation, they also had to follow it up with absurd conclusions.

Some believe that Leah’s drug problems are back.

Others speculated that criticism she received during the past season of TM2 coupled with the recent pressures of buying and moving into a new home are taking their toll on Leah.

Frankly, we have no idea, but we’re gonna go ahead and say it:

Unfortunately, the recent turmoil in Kesha"s life appears to have taken a toll, and it seems that for many who watched her acceptance speech, her unusual demeanor may have overshadowed her message.

"She must be on antidepressants or something. she suddenly put on a lot of weight," wrote one YouTube commenter. "Seems kinda distant and slurring speech. Typical of someone who"s body is still getting used to new meds. Hope she is ok."

"She looks so sad and broken. Its sad to see such a good person go through what she"s going through.," wrote another.

Thankfully, most fans focused on the content of Kesha"s speech, and not her apparent physical difficulties.

Derick Dillard: Photo of Jill Duggar"s Husband Sparks Concern Amongst Fans

As you probably know, 2015 was a difficult year for the Duggar family, so it’s not surprising that Jill Duggar-Dillard decided to close things out by paying loving tribute to her husband with what she thought would be a simple, scandal-free selfie.

Unfortunately for her, nothing has been going according to plan for the Duggars lately:

Jill posted that pic last week with a caption that reading simply, “I [heart Emoji] my hubby.”

The image garnered lots of attention, but not because of Jill’s romantic sentiments.

Many fans pointed out that Dillard’s appearance has changed considerably since his and Jill’s wedding last year, and the comment board on Jill’s Instagram page quickly became a place to diagnose Derick and debate the cause of his drastic weight loss.

“He looks anorexic,” one fan commented. “His face is gaunt and his eyes are sunk in. Compare wedding day photos with this photo. Definitely something wrong.”

“Did he have a stroke or something?” wrote another. “Even on their 3 episode special he had some weird stuff going on with his face.”

Theories put forth by fans ran the gamut from neurological impairments to religious fasting, but the real reason for Derick’s changing is likely much simpler.

If you go back and watch 19 Kids and Counting online, you may notice that the Duggar clan is strangely fixated on teeth.

It may be for that reason that Derick underwent oral surgery to extend his palette and began wearing braces shortly after his marriage to Jill.

Such procedures have been known to result in weight loss, as they often require patients to adhere to liquid diets for several weeks at a time.

Of course, the stress of the past year probably didn’t help Derick put the pounds back on.

In addition to the Josh Duggar sex scandals that made tabloid headlines, Jill and Derick were accused of lying about their missionary work in Central America in order to scam fans out of donations.

It would be a lot for anyone to deal with, and unlike his wife, Derick is no reality TV veteran.

Hopefully, the new dad will just keep a low profile and spend time with his family in 2016.
