Farrah Abraham: Mother Seeking Custody of Sophia After Assault Charges!
There’s a lot going on with Farrah Abraham at the moment, huh?
And not one single bit of it is good.
This week, her dog died — a Pomeranian named Blue that she and Sophia had gotten five years ago.
As if that wasn’t sad enough, Farrah made the situation sad in a different way by filming a video of Sophia crying over the dog’s lifeless body and throwing it up on Instagram.
On top of losing poor, poor Blue, it was just decided that she’d face charges for assaulting that hotel employee last month in Beverly Hills.
You remember what happened: she started arguing with other guests at the hotel, and she got so annoying that a security guard came to kick her out.
She allegedly became violent with the guard, hitting him in the face with her arm and then grabbing and pushing his face with her hand, and police were called.
When officers arrived, she told them to “f-ck off” and “go f-ck yourselves” multiple times, and when they took her to jail, she stayed there until the next afternoon.
She’s been charged with battery and with resisting arrest — both misdemeanors.
And on top of that, Farrah has been pretty messy lately, more than usual, even.
Her frozen yogurt shop got shut down, she’s been feuding with other reality stars, she’s been messing with her face again …
It’s a tough time to be an Abraham.
Since Farrah has been having such a tough time right now, her mother, Debra Danielsen, has been talking to anyone who will listen about how maybe she should have custody of Sophia instead.
And since Farrah could be facing up to 18 months in jail with her new charges, she just might have a point.
In a new interview with Radar Online, Debra discusses what’s going on with her estranged daughter.
“It’s sad to say,” she tells the website, “but you can’t disrespect other people and get away with it. It’s important for Farrah to learn she needs to respect other people.”
She also says that she agrees with the charges, so it sounds like she’s totally cool with her golden child spending some time behind bars.
Us too, Deb.
Thanks to all of this new criminal nonsense, and also because of who Farrah is as a person, Debra says she has “no doubt” that Sophia would have a better life with her.
“I would have Sophia in a great school,” she explains. “She can socialize and be a kid, just like Farrah. She needs to be a regular kid.”
“Go to school and achieve academically. She loves science.”
Doesn’t that break your heart, that Sophia loves science? Because realistically, how much science is she able to study while being homeschooled by Farrah?
Debra also believes that Sophia is too young to be traveling so much and going to the kind of events that Farrah attends.
“There are too many pedophiles out there who take advantage of minors,” she argues. “It’s a scary world out there.”
“Sophia is so precious. She is a blessing. I would not put my child on display.”
But even though she feels so strongly about this, she says that she won’t fight Farrah for custody — not because she doesn’t want it, but because as a grandparent, she simply doesn’t have the right.
“There are laws in this country that prohibit grandparents from protecting grandchildren,” she claims.
“Sometimes it’s in the best interest of the minor a grandparent could step in. Why? To give the parent a time out to take care of themselves. There is no harm in that.”
She says that even if she had a team of lawyers, she legally wouldn’t be able to get Sophia, which honestly seems a bit off to us.
There are so many grandparents who have taken custody of their grandchildren in situations like these.
That’s why Jenelle Evans’ mother has custody of her son.
Debra may be unsuccessful, but if she’s that worried about Farrah’s ability to parent, there’s absolutely no reason why she can’t at least try to get custody of Sophia.
But there could be a chance Deb is making that excuse because she doesn’t want Farrah to cut her out of her life completely, which she could very well do if a custody battle were to begin.
“I do believe it can be fixed,” she said of her relationship with Farrah.
“Farrah, I love her very much. She is my daughter. I have sacrificed and given my life to her. I wish her nothing but well.”
Who would do a better job at raising Sophia?
Honestly, it’s hard to say.
We believe Debra when she says that she’d get her into a nice school, which would be so much better for her than being dragged around the world with Farrah.
But on the other hand … Debra raised Farrah.
She’s also filmed abusing her on Teen Mom more than once.
We’re not exactly confident in her ability to raise a child, either.

Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott: Finally Seeking Treatment?
In the aftermath of Tori Spelling’s breakdown, things have looked worse and worse for the actress and her husband, Dean McDermott.
Their family members have reached out to the couple in this time of crisis, and apparently Tori and Dean have both accepted that they need to get help.
There’s just one problem. …
RadarOnline reports that Tori Spelling’s family, including her mother Candy and her brother Randy, have reached out to them.
“They loved them, and were concerned.”
Tori has apparently been experiencing migraines and panic attacks.
On top of that, she and Dean have been arguing about their children and, as always, about money, which always seems to be in short supply for the family of seven.
Tori’s family wants the two of them to stop trying to fix their situation themselves, since that clearly isn’t working.
“They said they wanted to see them get help.”
The source reports that, to their credit, Tori and Dean responded well to these concerned overtures.
“They admitted they are stressed out and overwhelmed.”
They say that the first step towards fixing a problem is admitting that it exists. That makes sense.
Per the source, Tori and Dean know the source of their problem and are willing to address it.
“They blamed it on exhaustion and they agreed they would go to a wellness retreat.”
So … that’s great!
Except for one little thing.
Tori and Dean apparently haven’t actually made any moves to act on this yet.
Generally, you don’t get better by merely agreeing to seek treatment. You have to actually follow through.
“Tori’s excuse is they haven’t found the right place.”
You might wonder how it’s hard to find such a place — since celebs go to different retreats all of the time, anywhere in the country and beyond.
But Tori is apparently very, very picky.
“She’s been looking into somewhere in the Dominican Republic”
Oh boy.
In the mean time, Tori has reportedly attended a beauty conference in Utah.
And Dean is pushing a new acting reel on social media.
As we’ve mentioned, the ongoing struggles between the parents — even the mere reports of their issues — are hurting more than just Tori and Dean.
Fans are worried that Tori and Dean’s children are being harmed by this situation.
Not, like, deliberate harm by their parents, but children tend to notice when their parents are in a state of perpetual conflict.
Living in a home where your parents might want to divorce but can’t afford to can really screw you up.
Sometimes, children blame themselves.
They can also grow up to have very disturbing ideas of what relationships look like.
That said, Tori and Dean of course love their children. We’re sure that a huge part of their motivations for seeking treatment is so that they can be better, more stable parents for their kids.
Clearly, something has to change in the Spelling-McDermott household.
Considering that Dean called the police on Tori twice, it’s hard to dispute that things are screwed up for the couple and, therefore, for the family.
This retreat might not fix their money troubles — though thankfully, Tori’s mother Candy apparently covers the cost of care for her grandchildren.
But it can get Tori and Dean back on track.

Joseph Duggar & Kendra Caldwell: Slammed For Seeking Wedding Gifts From Fans!
If you watch Counting On online, you know that the Duggar family is in the midst of what folks in the business world call aggressive expansion.
It’s a full-blown flurry of births, pregnancies, and weddings, and things are progressing so rapidly that the big events are starting to overlap.
In fact, Joy-Anna Duggar’s recent wedding was the scene of a major milestone for one of her siblings:
Joseph Duggar proposed to Kendra Caldwell during the reception and, as is customary for members of the Duggar clan, only a few months will pass between the proposal and the exchange of vows.
Last week, we learned the date of Joseph and Kendra’s wedding, and to the surprise of no one, it’s coming right up.
The couple will say “I do” on October 7, in Rogers, Arkansas.
It’s unsual for Duggar couples to be so forward about the date and location of their nuptials, but Joseph and Kendra might have ulterior motives for sharing their
Several members of the Duggar family, including Joy-Anna, have taken to social media to confirm the date of the wedding.
Presumably, Joseph and Kendra would’ve posted the news, too, were it not for the fact that the Duggars frown on the idea of their children posting on social media prior to marriage.
So what’s wrong with sharing wedding details online?
Well, nothing, per se.
The problem in this case, is that Joy-Anna and others also decided to share the couple’s wedding registry online, and to many fans, the move seems like a desperate cash grab.
There’s nothing unusual about the items on Joseph and Kendra’s registry.
It’s mostly common household items and gift certificate to chain restaurants.
The problem is that posting the wish list publicly seems like away to solicit gifts from fans.
Not surprisingly, some fans expressed their disapproval on Joy-Anna’s Instagram page:
“Very, very uncool. There are ways to circulate this info to the guests. This a gift solicitation for the FANS,” wrote one follower.
“Why would complete strangers who aren’t even invited to the wedding purchase wedding gifts for them?” commented another.
Some were so surprised by the move that they assumed Joy-Anna had been hacked:
“Were you hacked, cause this would be a great scam for someone trying to take advantage of the couple and get their gifts. Also, if not hacked, still a scam. Maybe ask people to donate to a charity in honor of your wedding? Ridiculous,” wrote one fan.
The post hasn’t been deleted, so a hack seems unlikely.
This isn’t the first time that a controversy has erupted aroung the Duggars asking for money from fans, and as in previous cases, the family seems unapologetic in their desire for more stuff.
But hey, we’re sure they can point to a Bible verse that they’ve interpreted as a paraphrasing of Michael Douglas’ “greed is good” speech from Wall Street.

Selena Gomez Mom Seeking Britney-esque Conservatorship?
All signs point to “yikes.”
Selena Gomez – still fully enveloped in an intensive rehabilitation facility in Tennessee – apparently isn’t taking to rehab as well as she should.
… So much so that new reports have emerged claiming that her mother, Mandy Teefy, is looking into a Britney Spears-type conservatorship for her daughter.
Britney 2.0?
OK! reported that Gomez’s mom is worried that Selena’s bid to be rehabbed will end badly, and that she’s ready to take “extreme measures” if that happens.
In photos obtained by OK!, Gomez looked tired and haggard, sporting gigantic bags under her eyes and smoking like a chimney.
Needless to say, she doesn’t look the healthiest.
In Touch reported that Gomez is “ready” to leave the facility, but that she’s not even close to being out of the woods yet.
A source purportedly told In Touch that Selena is going through hell.
“Selena keeps saying she feels like hell and wants to leave the facility, or go switch to outpatient treatment.”
“Apparently some of the medicine and treatment she’s receiving [to deal with anxiety] isn’t working very well,” the source revealed.
The source continued, and claimed that Gomez is even reaching out to her friends and family to help spring her from the rehab.
“A few weeks ago, [she] called her friends and family and told them that she felt trapped,” the insider said.
“Her mom came to visit her and took her out of the facility to talk.”
“She’s still telling everyone she wants to go home, and then gets mad because she feels like they aren’t listening,” the source added.
The source then claimed that Gomez is so intent on leaving the facility, that it’s got her mother majorly concerned about her Disney daughter.
“[Selena’s mother has] been reaching out to find out what it would take to get a conservatorship for Selena,” the insider told In Touch.
The mole also said that Gomez’s mom fears things will end badly if Selena doesn’t get the treatment she needs.
“Mandy believes that a mental breakdown is possible if Selena doesn’t take this rehab stint seriously.”
Rumors have swirled as to what really caused Selena’s latest stint in rehab – one of several at just 24 years old.
Some say that Justin Bieber and their unresolved relationship is the crux of the matter, while others blame her mental health and “poor me” mentality on bad decision-making skills.
Only one thing can be certain – somebody needs to stop Disney before they ruin all the child stars.

For your sake, however? This request is unlikely to result in your desired doctored documents, just in a great deal of laughs from the Internet. To wit…

It started when Adam Earis, a 19-year-old from Canada – who goes by the handle 18K on Twitter – posed this question on the social media platform.
2. The Perfect Response
A day after Adam posted the message, James Ham, coordinator at the Winnipeg Police Department, saw the Tweet and told his colleagues. From there, we “collaborated as a team in response,” Constable Jason Michalyshen told The Huffington Post.

Earis did at least take the response in stride.

Jill Duggar: Criticized for Seeking Mother-in-Law"s Birth Mom on Twitter!
Jill Duggar is catching heat again.
This time, it’s got nothing to do with her trying to get pregnant while in El Salvador as the Zika virus runs rampant there.
Instead, she’s coming under fire for seeking out the birth mom of her husband Derick Dillard’s mother, Cathy, who was adopted.
Jill even sent out a plea to fans on Twitter, asking for help from anyone who might know of the woman’s whereabouts.
“Please help us find @cldilla birth mom. Anyone know Joyce Perry (DOB 12/9/1925)? Previously in TX, OK & PA. Israel would love 2 meet ggma!” she tweeted.
It may be worth noting that Jill and Derick’s son Israel is one, and likely doesn’t even understand what a great grandmother is.
In addition to the tweet, the couple also posted a notice on the Duggar Family Blog, announcing their search for Joyce Perry.
Fans, of course, deemed this public hunt inappropriate.
“Does CATHY want to know more about Cathy’s birth family?” wrote one reader. “If so, why not before now? Why now? I hope Jill & Derick aren’t turning up stones they should be leaving alone. This kind of venture can be full of pitfalls for everyone involved.”
Another fan chimed in:
“Okay…..this is strange. Maybe Cathy’s birth mother didn’t want to be known.”
Adding to the strangeness of it all is that Cathy had already tracked down her biological mother years ago, and noted the woman wanted nothing to do with her.
She made the admission after implying that her mom would’ve had an abortion if it had been legal.
“If abortion had been legal when I was born, I wouldn’t be here! Neither would Derick, Dan or Baby Dilly!” she tweeted, which prompted a fan to ask her to clarify.
“My birth mother whom I located when I was 27,” Cathy added. “She had put me up for adoption at birth and still didn’t want to meet me even then.”
It’s unclear the real reason that’s motivating Jill to find this woman, but we do know she and Derick have considered adopting a child of their own.

The singer was on stage as part of her Las Vegas concert on Sunday night when she surprised those in attendance by telling them what she is looking for in a new boyfriend.

The Real Housewives of Potomac Recap: Seeking Marriage Desperately
On The Real Housewives of Potomac Season 1 Episode 4, Katie was left reeling from the news that Andrew doesn’t want to get married.
Any time soon, or perhaps even at all. Jarring.
Truly, this was a devastating pill to swallow.

Lamar Odom Seeking Kidney Transplant, Sources Say
Earlier today, we reported that Lamar Odom has been transported to a hospital in Los Angeles where he will continue to the recovery process after nearly dying from an overdose last week.
Reports on the 35-year-old’s condition have been mostly positive over the past week, with several sources claiming that Odom has begun physical therapy and is able to walk and engage in simple conversations.
Unfortunately, Odom still has a long way to go.
Hospital insiders say that while the damage to his brain is not as severe as expected, he still runs the risk of multiple organ failure.
Odom is currently undergoing dialysis, but TMZ is now reporting that he may require a life-saving kidney transplant in the very near future.
Odom is currently undergoing six hours of dialysis a day, and will likely never be able to leave the hospital without the donation of a healthy kidney.
To make matters worse, doctors are still uncertain about the extent of Odom’s brain damage, as they feel that he’s in too fragile of a state to undergo the necessary tests.
Needless to say, Odom’s road to recovery will be a long and difficult one. We’ll keep you updated on his condition as more information becomes available.
