Gwen Stefani poured her heart and soul out for the world to see on stage at the American Music Awards on Sunday night.
The artist was one of many artists to take to the stage in Los Angeles, but she was the only one we know of to sing so openly after her recently-failed marriage.
The former lead No Doubt singer gave an emotional rendition of the track "Used to Love You," which was almost definitely written with ex-husband Gavin Rossdale in mind.
Stefani and Rossdale split after 13 years of marriage this summer, although it didn"t take long for Stefani"s love life to propel her back into the news.
The pop star is now dating country music sensation and fellow The Voice panelist, Blake Shelton.
A rep for Stefani confirmed this relationship a couple weeks ago and the two were then spotted holding hands after the 2015 Country Music Awards.
Shelton, however, did not attend the American Music Awards this year.
That didn"t mean he didn"t show support for his new girlfriend, however.
After a fan Tweeted that she thought Stefani"s performance "was the best of the show," Shelton responded with, "Agreed…"
So there you have it! They are totally in love!
Someone start ringing those wedding bells! Okay, maybe not. It could be a tad too soon to talk marriage, no matter what some tabloids allege.
Check out Stefani"s moving rendition below and then also take a look at the following performances from the AMAs:
- Celine Dion paying tribute, in French, to the victims of this month"s terrorist attacks in Paris.
- Justin Bieber closing out the show with a medley of hits that included him getting doused by water from above. (On purpose, don"t worry.)
