Rumors of Jill Duggar being pregnant with baby number two have been circulating hard in the last couple months, and the latest pic posted by her husband is just adding fuel to the fire.
Derek Dillard took to Instagram to share this photo of their one-year-old son Israel, but it’s what the proud dad wrote in the caption that has fans talking.
“This is how you entertain yourself when you don’t have any siblings yet… #mirrorbaby #twins?” he wrote.
The two words above that are setting the comments section ablaze are “yet” and “twins.”
“IS JILL PREGNANT AGAIN!? WHAT DO THEY MEAN BY YET AHHH IS JILL PREGNAT [sic],” wrote one fan.
“She’s pregnant with twins,” another follower surmised.
Fans are rightfully concerned because Jill and Derek are currently on a mission in El Salvador, where the dreaded Zika virus is rampant.
The virus is said to cause severe birth defects in fetuses, and given that the Duggars shun birth control, some fans believe the couple could be putting themselves and their potential unborn child at risk.
“I hope that she’s not getting pregnant Bc of the Zika scare,” wrote one fan. “But Duggars aren’t really known for being the sharpest tools in the shed.”
Hey, we didn’t say it.
Of course, this is a pretty big assumption – by “yet” they could just mean they’re planning to have a child sometime in the future, and the “twins” comment likely just refers to Israel’s reflection.
But unless the couple are practicing abstinence, you never know.
