Lauren Swanson: Who Is Josiah Duggar"s New Girlfriend?
Earlier this week, Josiah Duggar and Lauren Swanson revealed that they’re officially courting, much to the delight of fans of Josiah’s family.
Rumors of Josiah and Lauren’s courtship had been circulating for several months, and she even joined the Duggars on their recent tour of Australia and New Zealand.
But it wasn’t until Tuesday that the couple made it official with an announcement on the Duggars’ official Facebook page.
Josiah went into detail about his “courtship proposal,” telling fans:
“I came up behind her at a meal while she was hanging out with some of my siblings and surprised her, and surprised her.”
He added that while Lauren and her family are relatively new to Arkansas, she and Josiah were friends for quite some time before they decided to take their relationship “to the next level.”
“We’ve been friends for a while and got to spend a lot of time together,” Josiah said.
Lauren didn’t do much talking in her introductory video, and fans were left with a lot of questions–namely, who is she, exactly?
Well, the Duggars have promised that viewers will get to see a lot of Lauren on the upcoming season of Counting On, but here’s what we already know:
Like unmarried women in the Duggar family, Lauren avoids social media, which is just one of the indications that she adheres to a similarly strict code of conduct.
Lauren’s father is a minister, and according to OK! magazine, he shares the Duggars’ views on what constitutes appropriate attire for women.
In other words, you won’t see Lauren wearing any above-the-knee skirts anytime soon.
“They’re really similar, our families, with a lot of the same goals,” Josiah told fans yesterday.
Needless to say, that’s putting it mildly.
At 18, Lauren is a few years younger than 21-year-old Josiah.
She also comes from a very large family, but unlike Josiah, she’s the oldest of her siblings.
Lauren’s mother is currently pregnant with her ninth child.
It’s hard to believe that in 2018 it’s possible to live such a private life, but that’s pretty much all we know about Lauren at the moment.
Of course, we’re sure information about the potential newest member of the Duggar clan won’t be in short supply for long.

Meghan Markle Will "Taint" Royal Family with Her "Black Seed," Horrible Girlfriend of British Politician Warns
As it turns out, not everyone loves Meghan Markle.
As it also turns out, not everyone is tolerant of people who are not Caucasian.
A pretty major flap has arisen in Great Britain after The Daily Mail obtained text messages from a woman named Jo Marney.
She is (or was, keep reading…) the girlfriend of a British politician named Henry Bolton and she GOES OFF on Markle in these explicit messages, writing the kinds of things one would expect to only hear from Donald Trump.
(Just kidding. Sort of.)
An ex-model, Marney refers to Markle in these texts as Prince Harry’s “black American fiancee,” adding that she will “taint” the Royal Family with “her seed.”
No, seriously. She wrote all that.
She also said Markle will pave the way for a “black king” to rule the nation.
It’s unclear to whom Marney is texting, but when she gets called out for being awful and racist, she responds as follows:
“lol so what. Not wanting other races and cultures to invade your own culture doesn’t mean I hate their race. Just means I don’t want their cultures invading mine.”
It’s a fine line, apparently.
(Marney also says that she would never have sex with “a negro” because they are “ugly,” but, hey, she doesn’t have any issues with that race, okay?!?)
Bolton, meanwhile, is a 54-year old leader in The UK Independence Party who some citizens wanted to resign even before this new scandal hit…because he left his wife and two kids for the 25-year old Marney.
He has broken up with his girlfriend in the wake of this public flap, but he may still be ousted by the party’s ruling National Executive Committee on Thursday.
If this happens, it would leave the party having to elect its fifth leader in just over a year and a half.

In a statement to The Mail, Marney apologized and claimed her comments had been taken out of context, which is pretty hilarious.
This is what she wrote for her mea culpa:
“No offense was intended and, again, I apologize unreservedly for any such offense or hurt that my messages have caused to members of the public, members of Ukip, my friends, family and loved ones.”
Markle’s father is white and her mother is African-American.
Sadly, she has faced a great deal of harassment concerning her mixed heritage ever since entering the spotlight as Harry’s girlfriend.
In November of 2016, the Internet trolls grew so loud in their racism that Prince Harry instructed Kensington Palace to issue a strongly worded statement in regards to a “wave of abuse and harassment.”
“It is not right that a few months into a relationship with [Prince Harry] that Ms. Markle should be subjected to such a storm,” this statement read, adding:
“He knows commentators will say this is ‘the price she has to pay’ and that ‘this is all part of the game.’ He strongly disagrees.
“This is not a game – it is her life and his.”
In their first joint interview as an engaged couple, Markle and Harry addressed this topic.
They remained level-headed about it and are refusing to let horrible people such as Marney influence their happiness in any way, shape or form.
“At the end of the day I am proud of who I am and where I have come from and we have never put any focus on that, we have just focused on who we are as a couple,” said the actress at the time.
Good for her.
And very bad for Marney. Very, very, very, very bad.

Scheana Marie: Pissed About Mike Shay"s New Girlfriend?!
Your totes enlightened friend who curates her ex’s Tinder profile might disagree, but we all know that there’s a winner and a loser in every breakup.
Sometimes, it’s not immediately clear who came out on top.
Other times it’s a blow-out victory, such as in the case of Scheana Marie and Mike Shay.
If you’re a Vanderpump Rules fan, then you’re likely aware that Scheana and Shay’s divorce was an ugly one, and Scheana emerged from the wreckage looking like a courageous survivor …
… while Mike came off as more of an uncaring, unemployed, drug-addicted adulterer.
It wasn’t a great look.
Anyway, Scheana continued her victory tour by being the first to move on from the marriage with a guy who not only has a job, but appears to not have any serious drug addictions, thus making him considerably less likely to drain her bank account.
Scheana began dating Robert Valletta almost immediately after parting ways with Shay.
She revealed on the Vanderpump Rules Season 6 premiere that she and Valletta have been “friends with benefits” on and off for seven years.
(She also revealed that Valletta is considerably more blessed in the dong department, which probably wasn’t Shay’s favorite moment of the episode.)
But like the Atlanta Falcons in the second half of Super Bowl LI, Scheana appears to have taken her considerable lead for granted.
We’re not saying Mike will ever be victorious–dude’s like 30 and still trying to make it as a rapper–but he’s been making major gains lately.
Apparently, Shay even has a new girlfriend, whom he’s describing to friends as the love of his life.
“Mike is finally over Scheana and has been posting about his new girlfriend non-stop on social media,” an insider tells Radar Online.
“He is telling his friends that the new girl is the love of his life!”
Scheana’s reportedly been seeking comfort with Valletta, but seeing as he’s also her ex these days, that might not be a totally effective strategy.
“Scheana has been spending time with Rob more so lately while he is in L.A. at her premiere party and other festivities,” a source tells Radar.
“However, the two are not back together and she has recently been trying to reach out to Mike.”
Yes, it seems like Scheana just didn’t know what she had until it was gone.
Or she’s just pissed that she’s single and Mike isn’t anymore.
Either way, most unemployed 30-year-olds rarely find themselves in the situation of being fought over by two girls, so enjoy it, Mike!

Jeremy Calvert Dumps Girlfriend We Just Found Out About
After months of keeping a relatively low profile, Jeremy Calvert is suddenly reminding Teen Mom 2 fans of his existence in a big way.
Most of the tabloid attention has had to do with Calvert’s social media attack on his Teen Mom 2 co-stars.
But in addition to Calvert’s most recent clashes with Leah Messer and company, he’s also making headlines for the latest developments in his tumultuous love life.
Back in September, Jeremy got back together with Brooke Wehr, a reunion that she celebrated by posting a nude photo of Calvert.
(Hey, everyone marks special occasions in their own way.)
That was probably the last update on Jeremy’s love life that most fans were aware of.
But it looks like a whole lot has changed in the past two months.
For one thing, Jeremy and Brooke broke up.
We’re not sure when, exactly, because Jer was uncharacteristically quiet about the split.
But at some point, he got involved in an entirely new relationship, this one with a woman named Kristen Blake.
Calvert announced the relationship just last week with a now-deleted photo of Blake.
“When true love comes together,” he captioned the image.
Sadly, it seems that “true love” was short-lived.
Earlier this week, Jeremy posted the above photo, along with a caption that many fans are interpreting as a breakup announcement.
“3 words that are way to loosely used now days and so easy to say to people. And I’m just as guilty as everyone else that says it for the most part,” he wrote.
Tellingly, Calvert disabled comments on the post.
It’s anyone’s guess what happened between these two, but the fact that Jeremy has been railing against infidelity lately might be significant.
“Dude if ur fucking married or engaged don’t send me fucking shit on here or snap chat like wtf. it’s killing me not to call u bitches out on here,” he captioned a recent post.
“Get ur shit together 99% of you have fucking kids and a family stop trying to fuck it up.”
Sounds like Jeremy is at his wits’ end these days.
As for whether or not his frustration has anything to do with his love life, we may never know.

Jennifer Garner to Ben Affleck: Don"t Bring Your Girlfriend Around Our Kids!
It’s been three months since the world learned that Ben Affleck is dating Lindsay Shookus.
The news came more than two years after Ben’s separation from Jennifer Garner, and based on photos of the former couple, it seems that they’ve remained on good terms despite Affleck’s new romance.
But appearances can be deceiving (especially when celebs know they’re getting papped), and insiders are now claiming that Jen has issued a strict set of rules regarding Ben’s new relationship.
According to Radar Online, Garner recently revealed to Affleck that she’d like to maintain a “no-fly zone” around Violet, 11, Seraphina, 8, and Samuel, 5, meaning that neither parent will introduce the kids to anyone that they’re dating.
It’s basically Jen’s roundabout way of saying she doesn’t want Lindsay around her kids.
“The children still don’t know Lindsay and they’ve never met,” a source tells Radar, adding:
“Jen intends to keep it that way.”
It sounds as though Jen would like to keep Shookus as far away from her family as possible, at least for the time being.
Of course, that doesn’t mean she’s never crossed paths with Lindsay herself:
“Ben met Lindsay at an SNL party — and Jen was there,” revealed another source.
“She feels completely betrayed.”
The reasons for Jen’s strict anti-Shookus policy are unclear, but that hasn’t stopped fans from wildly speculating:
Currently, the leading theory is that Jen doesn’t like that Ben has been spotted drinking with Lindsay despite the fact that he just completed rehab for alcoholism back in March.
That would certainly make sense, as Garner has reportedly issued ultimatums about Affleck’s drinking several times both during their marriage and after their spilt.
Unfortunately, it seems Jen’s strict Lindsay ban is currently resulting in Ben spending less time with his kids.
“Ben didn’t take the kids on vacation this summer,” the insider tells Radar.
“Instead, he stayed with Lindsay. So Jen took them on a road trip from Los Angeles to Las Vegas, and then they spent a few days in Montana.”
The source also points out that earlier this month, Jen traveled with the kids to Texas for a Garner family reunion, while Ben and Lindsay hung out in New York.
You can’t really pin that one on Lindsay, though.
We don’t think Ben would be very welcome at Jen’s family reunion.
