Heather Locklear has sent a message of support to Charlie Sheen.
With strong rumors heaving swirling that Sheen is HIV positive, his former Spin City co-star and longtime friend has posted a short and sweet message on social media.
“My heart hurts,” the actress captioned an old picture of herself and Sheen on a red carpet. “Prayers for Charlie and his family.”
Sheen will sit down with Matt Lauer on The Today Show on Tuesday morning and make a major personal announcement.
According to multiple reliable sources, the controversial actor will confirm that he has been diagnosed with the disease that leads to AIDS.
Chatter over this stunning revelation has been making its way around the Internet for a couple weeks now.
The National Enquirer’s latest cover story states that Sheen has been hiding the diagnosis for four years, while porn star Bree Olson (one of Sheen’s much-publicized recent girlfriends) just referenced “speculation circling one of” her ex-boyfriends “from years ago may [who] have contracted the HIV virus” in a blog entry.
Olson writes that she has a clean bill of health, however.
Expect PLENTY more to be written about Sheen in the hours, days and weeks ahead.
The star has said and done some crazy things since leaving Two and a Half Men, but we’d have to imagine even his harshest critic would not wish HIV on him.
