The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 11 Episode 6 Recap: Frenemy of the State

Were the women able to move on from Shannon’s failed party on The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 11 Episode 6 Monday?

Let’s just say some things are easier said than done.

If you watch The Real Housewives of Orange County online, you know the lovely ladies have a hard time moving on from most anything.

Well, The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 11 Episode 6 proved more the rule than the exception, to the surprise of nobody.

Nobody.

Obviously, every episode begins with a rehashing of what went on the previous week, both to kill time and because they just love gossip.

In this case it was actually probably worth it, given the drunken party fight on the prior episode, so no one can accuse the show of filler.

Kelly Dodd and Shannon Beador met up to break down the incident and see if they could let it go after everything they had been through.

Verdict?

“You just have to be the bigger person and just let it go,” Kelly was told by her mother Bobbi, who added simply, “Try to be nice.”

“People respond more to niceness than they do to people who are negative and mean. Maybe you just need to give Shannon a chance.”

“Maybe you just have to get to know her,” she urged her reeling daughter. “You have to forgive in order to forget, so, there you go.”

There you go.

Kelly eventually took her mother’s advice to be cordial and move on, but not before a back and forth over whether or not she was set up.

(She totes was.)

Anyway, Meghan King Edmonds continued to go through IVF and husband Jimmy continued to be annoyed that he even had to talk about it.

Seriously, the guy cannot be less interested in what she’s having done to her body in order to have his baby. It’s a little bizarre, no?

She went to Washington, D.C. with Heather Dubrow and spoke about cancer, while Tamra Judge practiced for her upcoming competition.

Vicki Gunvalson had a mild panic attack by Vicki standards after her grandson locked himself in the car, but besides that, she was great.

Really.

The O.G. of the O.C. even reflected on her breakup with Brooks Ayers by saying that it’s been a blessing – not in disguise, just a blessing.

“The best part about Brooks and I ending our relationship is I have my daughter back 100 percent,” Vicki said in a Bravo camera confessional.

“If I had stayed with Brooks, Briana would have never move back to the OC. Now that he’s gone, I’ve got my family back. Thank god!”

#blessed.
