Zac Efron Mourns The Death Of His "Best Friend," Internet Can"t Stop Crying

Someone needs to find Zac Efron and hold him in their arms.

The Baywatch star let fans know on August 25th that he dog, Puppy had passed away.

“Through thick and thin you’ve always been my best friend. I’ll see you at the finish line, RIP Puppy Efron,” he wrote on Instagram next to a darling photo of Puppy licking his owner.

Efron also shared lyrics from Chance The Rapper’s song, “Finish Line/Drown:”

Felt hog tied ever since my dog died

He lived to 84, damn, that’s a long ride

I know he up there he just sit and he wait/

I’ll be racing up the stairs I’mma get to the gate singing

Efron announcement coincides with National Dog Day, which makes the Australian shepherd’s death even more poignant.

According to Us Weekly, Efron got Puppy on Christmas Day 2011, but only told fans about him in April 2012.

If it wasn’t possible to love Efron more, allow us to tell you about the time he ran out of his house to rescue a dog.

“I rescued a dog,” Efron told Buzzfeed once.

“He was a puppy and he got away. I just ran out in the yard to go save him, like in the street, in my underwear — I just woke up — and snagged him and was like, ‘No, don’t run away.’

“And I looked up and my neighbor and his whole family were like, ‘Morning!’ I was like, ‘Hey! This is awkward. You have a lot of kids."”

A few weeks ago, John Stamos also posted a beautiful tribute to his late dog.

“She was always there, especially in the dark times,” Stamos wrote of his gorgeous pup, Linka.

“Never judging. By my side. Only loyal.”

If you need me, I’ll be bawling my eyes out.

John Stamos Mourns Dog, Elicits ALL the Tears

John Stamos may be living in a Full(er) House these days on television.

But the actor’s real life house just got a little more quiet and lonely.

Stamos took to Instagram this afternoon and shared the sad news that his dog just passed away.

Her name was Linka; Stamos had often filled his social media feed with her photos; and he added one more in honor of her death.

“She was always there, especially in the dark times,” wrote Stamos in the sweet tribute to his beloved pooch.

“Never judging. By my side. Only loyal.”

That’s the thing about dogs, isn’t it?

They really are always, always there for you. They want to cuddle or play fetch or give you a thousand licks the second you come home, no questions asked.

Stamos and Linka enjoyed soaking up some sun poolside together for many years. 

We’d normally comment on the amazing view in a photo such as the one below.

But we’re just focused now on these adorable doggy kisses!

Stamos has previously joked about the importance of maintaining Linka’s privacy, writing:

“I have a dog that I love a lot but I don’t talk about her publicly. She’s very sensitive when it comes to press.”

Stamos has adopted another dog, Freida. So at least he isn’t totally alone here.

But anyone who has lost a beloved pet knows what this feel like. It really is akin to losing a family member.

Our heart goes out to John Stamos at this time.

We’re not being facetious, either.

We’d keep writing more on the topic, but our eyes are welling with the tears at the thought of losing our dog.

So we’ll just send Stamos our very best wishes and say we’re sure Linka is now resting in peace.

Kim Kardashian Mourns Death of Blackberry, Chrissy Teigen Sends Flowers

Tragedy has struck Kim Kardashian"s digital world, and she may not be able to recover.

Kim shared the sad news with fans yesterday that her Blackberry Bold officially died.  It may have been the reality star"s most prized possession, and now she"s faced with a very difficult decision.

"Sooo my blackberry bold died," she tweeted on August 4th. I can"t find anymore on ebay."

Kim herself admitted that it was only a matter of time before the five-year-old phone would go to that electronic farm in the sky, but what does that mean for Kim?

"I knew this day would come & to be honest I"m prepared," she wrote.

"But the question is…. Do I try a different kind of blackberry?  Or ditch it all together? Or a different phone like Samsung?"

Chrissy Teigen sensed her friend"s devastation, and immediately sent her condolences, along with a huge bouquet of flowers.

"I"m so sorry for your loss," Chrissy wrote in an accompanying note.

"I know how much you loved your BB.  You were both very lucky to have each other, and you will always have the memories."

Kim was touched, and shared Chrissy"s condolences with her fan via Snapchat.

"How thoughtful is Chrissy?" Kim said.  "She just gets me."

Kim is still facing a tough decision.  In the past, the Forbes cover girl has shared that she prefers using a Blackberry keyboard as opposed to the iPhone"s because it"s easier to type on.

However, with fewer and fewer models offering that kind of keyboard design, Kim is researching other options.

"I need 2 phones," she tweeted. Because I love having 2 different phone services so I always have a working phone or another option is having 2 iPhones.

"I really want my blackberry bold though. Reality is starting to set in & I"m getting sad."

I actually have an old Blackberry Bold, which is now for sale to the highest bidder.

Roger Moore Mourns Loss of Daughter to Cancer

Roger Moore and his family are in mourning this week.

The actor, forever best known for having played James Bond on the big screen, lost his stepdaughter to cancer on Monday.

Christina Knudsen was 47 years old.

Moore broke the very sad news on Twitter today, saying his family is “heartbroken” after her death while sharing two sweet photos of Knudsen.

“We were all with her, surrounding her with love, at the end,” the 88-year-old British actor wrote on his social media account.

Knudsen, who Moore says was known as “Flossie,” is the daughter of Kiki Tholstrup; she is Moore’s fourth wife, who he married in 2002.

The late 47-year old was a graduate from the University of Southern California with a major in literature and psychology.

She also studied contemporary art for a master’s degree at Christie’s, making her career in property development and interior design.

Knudsen was also an avid equestrian, owning seven horses overall, including Wesko, her champion horse, who was on the short list for the New Zealand team at the Rio Olympics.

Moore and Tholstrup currently reside in Switzerland.

Most fans remember Moore for having portrayed 007 in seven films from the James Bond franchise – including The Spy Who Loved Me and For Your Eyes Only – but his humanitarian achievements on behalf of UNICEF have earned him numerous other honors.

He was  appointed a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador in 1991; and has been a special ambassador for the U.N. children’s charity since.

In 1989, Queen Elizabeth II named him a Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE); and a Knight Commander of the Order of the British Empire (KBE) in June 2003.

Craig Morgan Mourns Loss of Son: His Spirit Will Endure...

Craig Morgan has spoken out for the first time since the loss of his son.

As previously and sadly reported, 19-year-old Jerry Greer was discovered dead last week after an accident took place while he was tubing with friends.

The fatal incident happened on Kentucky Lake, with few details available regarding exactly how this tragedy came about.

But all that matters in the end is that Morgan, a star in the world of country music, and his wife lost one of their four kids in horrific fashion.

Now, five days after the funeral for Greer, the artist has taken to social media to express his gratitude for the support his family has received throughout this impossible time.

“The loss of our son Jerry is the hardest thing we have ever had to endure as a family,” Morgan wrote on Instagram Wednesday night.

“Karen [Greer] and I are so grateful for all of the wonderful people who have shown us unwavering support during this difficult time.”

Morgan included the following photo along with his heartfelt message.

He continued: 

“There are too many to name here, but we are especially thankful for the Humphreys County Sheriff and Fire Departments, the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency, and all the additional agencies and volunteers who turned out to bring our son home.

“We would also like to thank our friends, family members, and Jerry’s friends who have all shown us an immense amount of love and support.

“Additionally, we cannot thank the music and outdoor communities enough for wrapping their arms around us, as well as our industry friends, fans, and all those that loved our son.” 

Morgan ended his post by quoting scripture and by thinking of the legacy Jerry has left behind.

 “We are blessed by the outpouring of prayers and condolences from across the world. Jerry may be gone from this earth, and we will miss him every day, but his spirit will live on in our hearts.

“We will find peace knowing that God has a bigger plan, and that one day, we’ll be reunited with him again in Heaven. John 3:16.” 

Jerry graduated from high school this spring and was scheduled to football for Marshall University in the fall; he was laid to rest Saturday.

Since his expected death, his family members and other loved ones have established a scholarship fund in his honor, one focused on aspiring athletes, particularly ones struggling with dyslexia.

May he rest in peace.

James Van Der Beek Mourns Co-Star Ron Lester After Death: Read His Touching Tweet

Earlier today, we received the sad news that Varsity Blues star Ron Lester had died in a Dallas hospital.

He was just 45 years old.

Lester was best known for his turn as the loveable offensive linesman “Billy Bob” in the 90s football film, also starring James Van Der Beek.

Van Der Beek took to Twitter today to honor his late friend.

“Sad day… #RonLester was a sensitive soul with a huge heart,” he wrote. “Everything you loved about Billy Bob was authentically Ron. #RIP bud.”  

“I’ll never forget how committed #RonLester was on every take – even when the camera wasn’t on him… #giving #rare,” he added in a second tweet.

Below is a photo of Lester and Van Der Beek along with Varsity Blues cast mates Scott Caan, Jon Voight, Eliel Swinton and the late Paul Walker.

Lester had been in declining health of late, experiencing problems with his liver, kidneys and heart.

He had been in the hospital for four months before his passing.

Lester’s agent, Dave Bradley, announced that the actor had been taken off life support Friday and died peacefully.

Known in part for his size, Lester had at one point topped more than 500 pounds, but lost 350 after undergoing gastric bypass surgery in 2001.

Lester also had memorable roles in Not Yet Another Teen Movie, Freaks and Geeks and Popular.

He will be missed.

J.K. Rowling Mourns Orlando Victim with Harry Potter Connection

Luis Vielma was one of 50 people who was killed Saturday night inside Pure nightclub.

Along with numerous other patrons, Vielma was enjoying an evening out when Omar Mateen used an assault rifle to gun down as many gay customers as he could.

It was the largest shooting massacre in U.S. history.

Because Vielma worked at Universal Studios’ Harry Potter World, his death was acknowledged by author J.K Rowling in the aftermath of this despicable tragedy.

“Luis Vielma worked on the Harry Potter ride at Universal,” the Harry Potter scribe wrote on Twitter. “He was 22 years old. I can’t stop crying.”

As you can see below, Rowling include with her message a photo of Vielma in his work attire:

Rowling also shares memories from Vielma’s friends, loved ones and those who met him at Universal Studios.

“@jk_rowling Trust me, you would have loved him. He was the guy in the breakroom you liked four seconds after walking in,” one user wrote, while another added:

“@jk_rowling @JMuniz822 had the pleasure of meeting him last week on my holidays, he was SO nice to my son, such a lovely guy.”

Reaction continues to pour in from the Orlando shooting.

From what we’ve gathered so far, it appears as if Mateen acted alone.

His father claims his son was spurred on to horrible action by the sight of two gay men kissing a couple months ago.

Mateen, a U.S. citizen born in New York, called 911 at one point during his attack and bragged about all the American lives he was taking.

He also aligned himself with ISIS, the terrorist organization that later took credit for the attack.

We can also confirm that Mateen’s ex-wife says he abused her during their marriage and that Mateen had been interviewed on two separate occasions by the FBI because they suspected he had links to terrorist activities.

Nevertheless, he was able to purchase multiple firearms legally.

Orlando Shooting: 50 Killed in Massacre at Gay Nightclub

Shortly after Rowling paid tribute to Vielma, meanwhile, Universal Studios Orlando released a statement regarding his death.

It reads as follows:

“We are deeply saddened over the loss of our team member. We are working to support his friends and colleagues here at Universal Orlando.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with Luis, his family, and all the victims of this tragedy.”

Nick Lashaway Dies; Lena Dunham Mourns Former Girls Guest Star

Nick Lashaway, an actor who had appeared on such hits shows as Girls and The X-Files, died on Sunday as a result of injuries suffered in a car accident. 

He was 28 years old.

According to The Metro West Daily News, Lashaway was taken to the MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham, Massachusetts accident and pronounced dead by doctors at the facility.

In response to the tragic news, Lena Dunham took to Instagram and shared the above photo of her and Lashaway on the set of Girls.

She also included the following, heartfelt message:

Just heard the incredibly sad news that Nick Lashaway was killed in a car accident on May 8th.

Nick was such a talented, funny and kind person and we were so lucky to have him as a part of our Girls family when he played Frank in episode 207.

We will always remember the week we shared with him, his playful smile, his easy instincts, how much he made us laugh even when we had to stay up all night in the woods.

We are sending love to his family and friends and feeling such gratitude for his gifts. RIP sweet Nick.

Lashaway – a native of Washington – also appeared in movies such as In Time, The 40-Year-Old Virgin and The Last Song alongside Miley Cyrus.

Puppy Mourns Mufasa"s Death in The Lion King

We"re just gonna come out and say it:

The Lion King is the best children"s movie ever made.

Heck, it"s one of the best adult movies ever made.

And now we can apparently also add that it"s one of the best animal movies ever made.

No, not because it stars animals. Because animals actually experience a wide range of impactful emotions while watching it.

Or at least one animal does.

In the following video, a puppy is sitting on the couch alongside his owner, taking in the saddest scene from The Lion King.

Simba has just stumbled upon his dad, Mufasa, after Mufasa"s own brother dropped him to his death. 

(Sorry: SPOILER ALERT! Also: Darn you, Scar!)

We"re not exaggerating when we say it"s really as moving as nearly any scene we can think of in cinematic history… and we"re not alone in thinking this.

Because look at how the dog is responding!

As Simba implores his father to get up, you can tell the dog is thinking the same thing in his head.

And the more he realizes that Mufasa is not going to get up, the more he whines and sulks and is simply downtrodden by what he"s witnessing on screen.

We just hope he watched the movie all the way through and eventually sees that Simba comes out on top and hears all those great songs and learns some valuable life lessons.

For now, though? We feel you, dog. We feel you and we love you…

Mayte Garcia Mourns Loss of Prince: He Was My Everything…

Millions of fans around the world may be in mourning over the shocking death of Prince, but Mayte Garcia is taking this stunning news harder than most.

That’s because she was once married to the iconic musician.

Garcia, who married Prince in 1996 and split from him in 2000, has released a statement through her manager that reads as follows:

“I can’t even think of the words of what I’m feeling. This man was my everything, we had a family. I am beyond deeply saddened and devastated.”

Garcia met Prince in 1990 and was later hired to dance on one of his tours.

The singer-songwriter went on to produce an album for his eventual, who he wed in Minneapolis and who served as the inspiration behind the single “The Most Beautiful Girl in the World.”

In 1996, tragedy struck the couple when they lost their son, Gregory, at just a week old to Pfeiffer syndrome, a rare genetic disorder that affects the skull and bones in the hands and feet.

Garcia and Prince officially divorced four years later.

“I loved him then, I love him now and will love him eternally,” Garcia added. “He’s with our son now.”

The seven-time Grammy Award winner and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee was found dead at Paisley Park Studios in Chanhassen, Minnesota on Thursday morning.

The Carver County’s Sheriff Office is currently investigating the circumstances of his death.

The incident took place just days after Prince was hospitalized for a mysterious illness that new reports are linking to a possible drug overdose.

“It is with profound sadness that I am confirming that the legendary, iconic performer, Prince Rogers Nelson, has died at his Paisley Park residence this morning at the age of 57,” the star’s publicist confirmed yesterday, concluding:

“There are no further details as to the cause of death at this time.”

Will Smith Dies; Kim Kardashian Mourns Tragic Loss

Will Smith, a former defensive end with the New Orleans Saints who helped the team win Super Bowl XLIV in 2009, was shot and killed in New Orleans on Saturday night.

He was 34 years old.

The Ohio State alum reportedly got into a heated argument with Cardell Hayes, the driver of a vehicle who rear-ended him, only for Hayes to then allegedly pull out a handgun and shoot Smith multiple times.

Smith was pronounced dead at the scene, while his wife, Raquel, was shot twice in the leg and transported to the hospital.

Numerous past and present NFL stars have used social media to express their condolences over this tragic death, with Kardashian also chiming in because she got to know Smith back when she dated Reggie Bush.

Bush and Smith were teammates in New Orleans.

“My heart breaks for my sweet friend Rockie. I’m deeply saddened by your loss,” Kardashian wrote on Instagram.

She then addressed the late star directly:

“Will, you were an angel to your family on earth and you will continue to be in the life after. May God bless you! Sending so many prayers to her and her family!!!

“May the Lord surround her and her children with love and protection during this devastating time.”

Hayes has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder for his alleged shooting of Smith.

Paris Hilton Mourns the Loss of Monty Brinson

Paris Hilton and a number of members of the Real Housewives franchise have taken to social media out of mourning.

They are all paying respects to Monty Brinson, the ex-husband of Kim Richards who died of cancer at the age of 58 this weekend.

According to People Magazine insiders, Richards is “devastated” by the passing of Brinson, who she may have divorced back in 1988, but who remained a close influence in her life for many years thereafter.

Paris Hilton, meanwhile, knew Brinson well because her father is Monty’s ex-brother-in-law.

And the hotel heiress had the following to say on Instagram, writing this message along with the above photo montage:

“Heartbroken to hear the sad news of my Uncle @MontyBrinson’s passing after his long brave battle with cancer. He was such an incredible man with such a huge heart.

“He was so insightful & positive about life, even with all he was going through. He always had a smile on his face & lit up the room with his positive energy & fun personality.

“He will be truly missed.”

Richards’ former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills costar Camille Grammer also sent her sympathy via Twitter, linking to news of Brinson’s death and writing:

“So sad Lovely man with a kind heart. My condolences to Kim and his family.”

Brinson was married to Richards from 1985 to 1988.

A year after they married, the two welcomed their daughter, Brooke. She is now 29 years old.

“My father fought till the very end and never gave up. He was surrounded by everyone he loved and went peacefully,” Brooke wrote on Instagram, concluding:

“Today is bittersweet knowing that he is at peace and doesn’t have to fight this horrible disease anymore. Thank you everyone for your kind words.”

Kaley Cuoco Mourns Loss of Second Dog in a Week

Just one week after the death of Petey, her beloved dog of 15 years, Kaley Cuoco announced that a second rescue pup, Chester, has passed away.

The Big Bang Theory actress delivered the sad new via Instagram, honoring her companion with two touching photos: one of herself cuddling the little white dog and another of Chester alone releasing a big yawn.

“It hasn’t been a great week for dogs so with a heavy heart I must tell you, sweet Chester (aka Chedder cheese) has passed away,” she wrote in the caption.

It seems the little guy may have had some health issues that Cuoco was unaware of when she adopted him. 

“We rescue these angels blindly and have no idea what problems they may have,” she added. “I’m still in shock but I just keep feeling blessed to have him in my life even for a small amount of time.”

Cuoco also mentioned that he followed her everywhere and slept on her pillow every night.

“I can sleep knowing that he felt extreme love towards the end of his life,” she said.

In her second photo, Cuoco wrote, “Love you forever Chester Chedder Cheese!” and included the hashtags #alldogsgotoheaven and #adoptdontshop.

This must be devastating news to Cuoco, an avid animal lover and rescue advocate. Having to say goodbye to two pets in such a short amount of time while dealing with a divorce – not to mention rumors about her dating ex BF and co-star Johnny Galecki – is a lot to handle.

Jennifer Williams, Basketball Wives Star, Mourns Death of Mother

Jennifer Williams is in mourning at the moment.

The reality star, a former cast member on the VH1 hit series Basketball Wives, took to Instagram on Monday to alert fans to the loss of her mother.

She lost a brave battle with breast cancer.

Williams had previously shared the above photo with her mom, telling followers that she was fortunate enough to spend Christmas with her ailing parent.

Sadly, however, she was forced to say goodbye just a few days later.

“Heaven just got another angel,” Williams wrote on Instagram. “Little did I know when you pulled me in to kiss me and say I love you yesterday it would be my final goodbye here on earth.

“So beautiful but so sad at the same time. You are my everything and will always be my everything!”

Williams added the hashtags #NoOneCanPrepareYouForThis #TheSweetestPersonIEverMet #APieceOfMeIsGone #ILoveU #FuckCancer #HardestDayOfMyLife and concluded:

Liza Morales Mourns Death of Son with Lamar Odom

Liza Morales took to Twitter on Tuesday for the most tragic of reasons.

Lamar Odom’s ex-girlfriend wrote a special social media message in honor of Jayden, the son she had with Lamar who would have turned 10 years old yesterday.

“Happy 10th Birthday to our Guardian Angel, our beloved son, Jayden,” Morales penned alongside a graphic of colorful balloons floating in the air.

She added the hashtag “#BirthdayInHeaven” to her post.

Odom and Morales were in a romantic relationship for over a decade.

They currently share two kids, Destiny and Lamar Jr., as Jayden, passed away in 2006 at just six months old as a result of SIDS (sudden infant death syndrome).

In October, Morales and the children flew out to Las Vegas to be with Odom after he fell unconscious and was placed in critical condition.

She has feuded with Khloe Kardashian at times over the years, most recently taking shots at Khloe for abandoning her family when thinks got difficult.

There was also talk that Morales and Kardashian clashed a couple months ago over Odom’s life insurance policy.

But all that matters at the moment is the unspeakable pain Morales must be in, having lost a child.

“I had to depend on my spirituality . . . Lamar turned to work,” Morales said in 2012 of how each handled the tragy.

“He had his music he was working on, a clothing company and an artist he was working with – that’s how he dealt. I was alone during that time, but at least I had my family and friends.

“The loss never leaves you, but it does get better. We have pictures of Jayden around the house and the kids and I talk about him all the time.

“We are in a place of peace and acceptance.”

Keith Urban Mourns Late Father

The father of country music superstar Keith Urban has lost his battle with cancer.

This sad news was relayed to fans via a message on the official Keith Urban website.

Referencing his wife, Nicole Kidman, Urban wrote the following to readers:

“I’ve been deeply touched by the outpouring of love and support that Nic and I, and our family, have received since my dad’s passing on Saturday night.”

The American Idol judge added that his dad is “finally at peace” after such a long battle with such a debilitating disease. 

Urban went on to credit his father’s affection for Don Williams and other country artists as a major reason for why he went into this industry.

You don’t exactly see many Australian country music singers, after all.

“My dad’s love of country music and America set me on my life’s journey, and shaped so much of who I am today,” he wrote. “Thank you to everyone who has kept us all in your thoughts and prayers.”

Bob Urban was placed in hospice care about a week prior to his passing.

His son, meanwhile, will be front and center once again when American Idol kicks off its final season on January 6.
