Farrah Abraham: The REAL Story Behind Her Teen Mom OG Firing!

Great news: someone besides Farrah Abraham has finally taken the time to comment about her current situation with Teen Mom OG!

That means that, at long last, we finally understand what’s happening.

Farrah tried, bless her heart, but with all her ramblings about hate crimes, it was hard to figure out what had happened. And with a story as juicy as this one, you know we needed to know every last detail.

First off, a quick recap: Farrah announced at the end of October that she’d been fired from Teen Mom, presumably because of those livestreams she’d been doing in which she’d masturbate for strangers on the internet.

She was very upset about it, and she accused Viacom, MTV’s parent company, of discriminating against her.

She dropped the term “hate crimes” a bunch, because Farrah is Farrah and Farrah does not understand many things.

Later, she said that she actually wasn’t fired from the show — she was “fake fired.”

She implied that she was given an ultimatum, that she could continue working on Teen Mom or continue working in the adult entertainment industry.

One thing was for sure though — she was not having any of it.

From what we can tell, she hasn’t been filming any new footage for the show, even though she wasn’t technically fired. Earlier this week, she demanded an apology from MTV, as well as payment for the rest of the season.

The whole story almost makes sense, but not quite, right?

Thankfully though, Farrah’s father, Michael Abraham, chatted with The Ashley’s Reality Roundup to clear up all this confusion.

“Farrah was never legally fired; she was never in breach of her contract and she never cancelled filming,” Michael began.

“You have MTV — the network that airs the show — and you have Viacom, which owns MTV. Then you have 11th Street Productions, the company hired to produce the show.”

“Our contracts are with MTV and Viacom, not 11th Street,” he explained. “So, basically Morgan [J. Freeman, the show’s executive producer] did not have the authority to do what he did.”

It’s all coming together now, isn’t it?

Michael also said that the production company had cancelled filming with Farrah and her family several times before eventually asking to film on a day that wasn’t scheduled — the day they fired her.

That day, he said that “they basically ambushed Farrah on-camera,” and producers “sex-shamed her on-camera and they did it purposely at a time when none of us were there.”

We saw a little bit of that day’s footage in the supertease for the season, and she did seem extremely upset.

“I was surprised that they would even attempt what they did,” Michael shared. “I was disappointed that an executive producer would interject his bias and judgment into the show.”

“It’s a show documenting these girls’ lives, and they’re trying to control and use their influence to change Farrah into what they think she should be. It was completely wrong.”

So will she still be on the show or not?!

Michael said that right now, “She’s considering her options. She has many opportunities to work in the entertainment industry. It’s completely up to the network, not Farrah.”

What a mess.

A source claimed that MTV is currently trying to figure out how to move forward — one possible option is to hire a new production company to film Farrah.

It’s nice that they’re trying to work something out, especially considering that they never fired her in the first place.

But we imagine they’re going to have to jump through some hoops to get Farrah back on their side again — she really seems pissed, and if Michael’s story is correct, then it’s easy to see why.

Derick Dillard Breaks Silence on TLC Firing

Derick Dillard has something to say about his firing from TLC.

Last week, the now-former Counting On star learned that the cable network wanted no part of him, not after Dillard used multiple Tweets to slam Jazz Jennings.

Jennings is the 17-year anchor of I Am Jazz, a series that chronicles her life as a transgender teenager.

As a supposedly dedicated and devout Christian, Dillard doesn’t support such a lifestyle… and he’s been vocal about this stance on social media.

“I pity Jazz,” Dillard recently Tweeted on the topic, adding:

“4 those who take advantage of him in order 2 promote their agenda, including the parents who allow these kinds of decisions 2 be made by a child.”

This was not Derick’s first time going after Jennings, either.

“What an oxymoron… a ‘reality’ show which follows a non-reality,” Dillard, unprompted by anything Jazz did or said, wrote in August.

‘Transgender’ is a myth. Gender is not fluid; it’s ordained by God.

In response to one of the faces of Counting On going after another face of its network, TLC released the following statement on November 12:

We want to let our viewers know that Derick Dillard has not participated in Counting On for months.

The network has no plans to feature him in the future.

We want to reiterate that Derick’s personal statements do not reflect the views of the network.

TLC is proud to share the story of Jazz Jennings and her family and will continue to do so.

So that was that.

Following weeks of chatter that TLC was done with Dillard, executives made it official.

And sides were subsequently taken on Twitter:

Now, several days later, Dillard has broken his silence over his official ousting.

“Thank you to all those who have supported us and given us so many words of encouragement recently. God bless you all!”

He also Tweeted a proverb yesterday:

“A joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones. (Proverbs 17:22)”

Derick Dillard tweet

So it sounds like Dillard is refusing to let TLC’s decision, along with its public upbraiding, bring him down.

He’s quoting the bible and also another controversial reality show star to get him through this difficult time.

You remember what Duck Dynasty’s Phil Robertson once said, don’t you?

Derick apparently lives by these contradictory words; that you can find someone’s lifestyle to be sinful, yet somehow also claim you have nothing against the person living in this manner.

prob tweet

Members of Dillard’s own family don’t exactly agree, however.

“You might not agree with someone or their lifestyle but you SHOULD be compassionate and show God’s love regardless to everyone,” Amy Duggar Tweeted a couple days ago.

It was clear just what – or who, we should say – she was referencing with this message.

To her credit, it should be noted, Jennings hasn’t even said anything this combative in the wake of the Derick Dillard scandal.

“In the face of constant ignorance and hatred I prefer to disregard negative opinions and continue moving forward with love,” she wrote shortly after Derick’s latest insult.

Dillard could learn a lot about the person he thinks is an affront to God.

Farrah Abraham Strips Down For Lingerie Pics, Confirms Teen Mom Firing?

Right now, Farrah Abraham’s Teen Mom career seems to exist in a state of quantum uncertainty. Was she really fired from Teen Mom OG for being a sex worker? If so, will MTV take her back?

We don’t know. But we do know at least a little of what Farrah’s up to in the mean time.

Right now? She’s hawking lingerie. Some very aggressively revealing lingerie.

So, Farrah Abraham has had a long, long career with MTV.

So long, in fact, that she’s a Teen Mom star who’s 26 years old.

(A friend recently asked who she was, and was a little taken aback by my answer … because he didn’t expect to hear about Teen Mom stars in the same age-range as the stars of scripted teen dramas)

But then came reports that MTV had fired her.

And by “reports,” we mean that Farrah Abraham angrily ranted, claimed that MTV had fired her, and seemed to refer to it as a “hate crime.”

(In Farrah’s mind, maybe a “hate crime” just means a thing that she hates … which is not even a little bit close to what that means)

She alleged that her live sex shows (like the live anal toy camshow that she had announced) were the issue, it was also strongly suggested that … maybe it was a personality issue.

Meaning that maybe Farrah was fired because everyone hates her, and that — if someone mentioned her camgirl livestreams in the process, that may have just been the excuse that MTV needed.

We don’t know.

What we do know is that Farrah Abraham says that she wasn’t fired, actually … which only makes us more confused.

Competing reports are one thing, and we’re used to sorting through those.

But we don’t see competing reports from the same person, about themselves nearly so often. Especially not within such a short timeframe.

What may have happened was that Farrah was given an ultimatum by MTV or by producers: that she could do porn or Teen Mom, but not both.

(Honestly, that doesn’t sound fair — part of the point of being a reality star is for branding opportunities, and whatever we may think of Farrah, sex work is no less honest or valid than plugging a makeup brand on Instagram)

Only time will tell, at this point, though Farrah’s “Viacom Legal Confirms I have not been fired, I have not breached my contract,” does sound pretty official.

But what are we to make of this?

Farrah is posing here in some lingerie that hides everything except her bits. She’s using her hands to cover her nip nops, and it looks like absolutely nothing is covering part of her genitals.

She’s holding a riding crop and we have to say that she’s looking pretty darn good.

She captioned her post:

“‪#Shmoney mondayyyy ! Can’t wait to show you my exclusive lingerie line Dec 1st.”

She follows this with a gift emoji and a bag-of-money emoji.

“Behind the scenes! Photo shoot woot-woot! For the intrigued [sparkles emoji] wonderfully beautifully www.pultraintimates.com.”

So this is her new lingerie line. Have another look:

We don’t think that anyone’s actually supposed to have intercourse through such a modestly sized hole in the outfit’s panties, but it’s certainly suggestive.

The riding crop is the only part of the whole ensemble that says “S&M” to us, but maybe there’s more to come that will put the fairly vanilla S&M toy into a context that makes sense.

Like we said, Farrah looks good here.

But … if she was getting into trouble with MTV folks for putting some toys into herself on camera for money, are they going to love her getting naked to hawk some lingerie?

This might put her deeper in the hole.

(Pun not intended)

Duggar Family: "Outraged" Over Derick Dillard Firing?

Earlier this week, we learned that Derick Dillard had been fired by TLC due to his continued harassment of transgender teen Jazz Jennings.

For most, the only thing surprising about the situation is that it took the network that long to give Jill Duggar’s husband the axe.

After all, most employers don’t look kindly on publicly bullying children, and in Derick’s case, the behavior was even more troubling for his bosses, as Jazz is also the star of a TLC reality series.

So for once, a group of powerful men in the entertainment industry made the right decision.

Derick is now unemployed, but don’t waste any tears on the volatile father of two.

He’s been jobless most of his life, and his wife pulls in enough

(But you might want to dole out some sympathy for the poor souls who are being suckered in by Dillard’s pleas for cash. They could certainly use your pity.)

Anyway, the reaction from the world at large was not one of tremendous shock.

Within the Duggar compound, however, the response has been quite different.

Derick’s famous in-laws are reportedly appalled by his firing and divided on the question of who to blame.

“There’s a lot of outrage between increasingly divided factions,” a source close to the Counting On clan tells Radar Online.

The issue, it seems, is that the Duggars try to maintain a united front at all times, but Jill’s parents and siblings can’t being pissed at Derick for forcing them to deal with yet another scandal.

“Derick is really having a hard time,” says one insider.

“They are extremely careful to not criticize each other. He wasn’t trying to hurt Jazz. She just conflicted with his belief system and he reacted without thinking it through.”

Jill Duggar is apparently attributing her husband’s insensitivity to the fact that the Dillards have spent much of the past two years living in Central America:

“A lot of times when you live apart from the people you love it takes time to adjust back to your original lifestyle,” the insider says, adding:

“Including family.”

Well, we suppose if you spend enough time in El Selvador, we suppose it’s natural to adopt some of the local customs, such as … hatred of teenage reality stars?

We’re gonna go out on a limb and assume that’s not really a thing.

Watch Counting On online for more from reality TV’s most controversial family.
