Ben Affleck Checks Into Rehab for Third Time
A week that started with Ben Affleck seemingly on top of the world, or at least on top of a Playboy model named Shauna Sexton, is sending with the actor possibly hitting rock bottom.
He has once again checked into rehab.
The actor will be seeking professional assistance for his addiction to alcohol, a source has confirmed to People Magazine.
“He is seeking treatment. He knew he needed help and was vocal about it,” says this insider.
Multiple outlets say basically the same thing: Affleck was open to treatment and well aware he was in trouble.
This decision came just two days after paparazzi snapped photos of what appeared to be a box of alcohol being delivered to Affleck’s home…
… and it was also strongly influenced by Affleck’s famous ex-wife, Jennifer Garner.
The actress was seen leaving Affleck’s home on Wednesday, visibly upset and shaking.
She then returned to this residence later in the day; at which time, Garner, Affleck and an unidentified woman who arrived at the actor’s house with her were photographed in a car Garner was driving.
TMZ reports that Garner was dead set on convincing her ex that he needed this trip to rehab, but that Affleck was open to it nearly as soon as their discussion started.
As previously stated, Affleck knew he had fallen off the wagon weeks ago and could not continue down this path.
He has reportedly drove straight to a “live-in rehab facility” with Garner “and will check in for an extended period of time,” per TMZ.
Garner filed for divorce in April of 2017, two years after the stars announced their split.
However, the former couple has remained extremely close, even prompting various rumors of a reconciliation, mostly for the sake of raising their three kids.
The divorce is not yet final.
Garner is pretty much the most mature, reasonable and saintly woman in Hollywood, by everything we can tell.
On Monday, Affleck was seen outside of his Palisades home wearing a gray T-shirt and sweatpants as he picked up a Pacifico beer-branded box filled with Johnnie Walker Blue Label scotch whisky in a blue case, along with some other unidentifiable bottles.
Sexton, perhaps by coincidence, is on record as saying her favorite drink is whisky.
Affleck started seeing this model very recently, not long after he ended a year-long romance with Saturday Night Live producer Lindsay Shookus.
He has never really talked publicly about her and hasn’t said much about his split from Garner, either.
Just prior to his 46th birthday on August 15, a friend of the actor told People that “Ben is doing well,” adding of his personal struggles:
“He continues to focus on himself and the health of his relationships.
“He attends meetings, many meetings, and he also does meditation and yoga.
“While he still has his moments – and let’s be honest, everyone struggles – he continues to work hard on himself.”
Affleck previously checked into rehab in 2001 and also just this past December.

Lyric McHenry May Not Have Been Pregnant at Time of Death
Questions about the stunning death of former E! reality star Lyric McHenry continue to circulate.
Very early on the morning of August 14, the close friend of EJ Johnson and the woman who appeared on multiple episodes of EJNYC was found dead on a sidewalk in New York City.
She was wearing only a pajama top and underwear and, most disturbing of all, a ziplock bag with cocaine inside was also discovered on her person.
Also, according to initial reports, McHenry was 20 weeks pregnant at the time of her death.
Just awful, right?
However, it was assumed upon reading these reports, at least by us at The Hollywood Gossip, that medical tests had been run that proven McHenry was expecting a child.
Now, though, it seems as if this may not have been the case.
A family spokesperson named Edna Sims Porter tells Us Weekly that McHenry’s loved ones were unaware of any pregnancy, stating for the record:
“Lyric did not share that with the family, so we’ll all have to wait for the autopsy report.”
This quote comes on the heels of a close friend saying something similar, expressing shock that McHenry was allegedly pregnant.
Porter, meanwhile, goes on to imply (or outright say, really) that no exam was performed that proved Lyric was going to be a mother.
“I’ve seen the police report and I talked to the police about that and they said to me, ‘That was from someone that we interviewed,"” Porter explains of how this strong rumor got started.
She concludes;
“That’s one of the things we’re going to find out the details about.
“We’re all baffled because you don’t even see a baby bump. Twenty weeks, that’s five months, right? It seems like she would be showing.”
McHenry was a Stanford graduate who volunteered years ago for Barack Obama.
She also worked as a television producer.
Due to the state of her body when she was found by the police, along with the bag of cocaine of course, it has been presumed that she died of a drug overdose.
Still, we are awaiting the results of an autopsy and those close to Lyric remain puzzled by how she went from happily celebrating her birthday with friends on Monday evening…
… to ending up as she did just a few hours later in the Bronx.
Per The New York Daily News, the reality star was “found sprawled out on the sidewalk above the Major Deegan Expressway at Undercliff Ave. and Boscobel Place in Highbridge at about 5 a.m.”
McHenry made multiple cameos on EJNYC, a spinoff of Rich Kids of Beverly Hills, back in 2016.
Shortly after the terrible news of her passing went viral, her family released a statement that reads as follows:
In contrast, what is factual and known is that Lyric who just turned 26 last week on August 6, was a brilliant, creative and lovely young woman who shared a deep passion for writing, film and a long-standing commitment to social justice.
She was a Christian who grew up in Los Angeles and attended the Center for Early Education and graduated from the Marlborough School in Los Angeles.
Lyric graduated from Stanford University in 2014 where she studied in Paris, France for a year and spoke fluent French…

Lyric’s warmth, compassion and energy will be missed by many and the family would appreciate that all speculation surrounding the circumstances of death cease until the real facts are determined during the current investigation by the NYPD and the City of New York…
The Funeral Service will be held in her hometown Los Angeles at a date to be determined.
McHenry is survived by her father, producer and Director Doug McHenry, her mother Jennifer, a stylist, and her sister, Maya McHenry, who also appeared on episodes of EJNYC.
May she rest in peace.

Ashley Jacobs and Thomas Ravenel: It"s Over! For Good This Time!
Earlier this month, it looked like Ashley Jacobs and Thomas Ravenel were over. But in the space of a day, Ashley insisted that they were now back together.
Now, however, the embattled Southern Charm star and the extremely confrontational nurse are over. Officially.
Ashley broke the news herself.
In a tearful Instagram Live session, Ashley Jacobs revealed that she and Thomas are over. For real this time.
“I don’t want to comment but there are just some things I’m trying to handle privately,” Ashley explains.
“Before I say too much, I love Thomas and I’ll always love Thomas,” Ashley clarifies. “I’ll always care about him.”
Not everyone feels that way now that Thomas Ravenel has been accused of rape by a couple of women and others have come forward to share tales of upsetting behavior from him.
“I’m still trying to work it out,” Ashley explains. “Not work out getting back together, but I’m still trying to figure it out.”
“I think everyone’s been through breakups before,” Ashley says. “But it’s hard.”
It is difficult. Emotions are a curse.
“It’s not easy,” Ashley admits.
“Sometimes,” Ashley says. “You just want to stay quiet and figure out what the next move in your life is going to be.”
That sounds very smart.
Ashley explains: “I’m just trying to take care of myself the best way that I can.”
“You guys know some eligible bachelors,” Ashley jokes. “Hook me up.”
She then goes above and beyond to assure her followers that she is not a gold-digging famewhore.
“They don’t have to have money,” Ashley insists. “I’m okay with that.”
Ashley’s willingness to uproot her life after five dates to live with Thomas across the country, and the fact that she seemed to flirt with other wealthy men on Southern Charm, gave a different impression.
“I just want someone to love me for me,” she says.
Again, Ashley insists: “It’s never been about money.”
There were also rumors that Ashley Jacobs is an escort, which she found hurtful — though, of course, there is nothing wrong with sex work.
“Like I said, I work hard,” Ashley continues. “I wouldn’t quit my job.”
Ashley is a registered nurse.
“I drive my cute little Honda,” Ashley says, reassuring fans. “I’m okay.”
Ashley posted something much more vague to her Instagram page.
“I am who I am today because of my failures,” Ashley writes. “I am compassionate because I’ve failed.”
“I am understanding because I’ve failed. I am more emotionally aware because I’ve failed,” Ashley continues. “I’m smarter because I’ve failed.”
“And I understand the values and beliefs of the things that matter in life because of those failures,” she explains.
“So I would never take them back,” Ashley insists. “I would never go back in time and change a single thing.”

You know what? She may have been a Southern Charm villain, but we’re strangely happy for her.

Meghan Markle: Why She May Actually Be Pregnant This Time
We interrupt our coverage of Meghan Markle feuding with members of her real family to provide an update on Meghan Markle’s hypothetical future family.
Confused?
Allow us to explain…
The first part of that introduction needs no explanation, right?
Markle’s father, Thomas, and half-sister, Samantha, have spent the past several weeks trashing the Duchess of Sussex in every conceivable manner.
It’s grown so bad that Markle and Prince Harry are reportedly considering some extreme measures in order to get Thomas and Samantha to shut the heck up.
So that sums up Markle’s terrible relatives.
But what about her impending relatives?
That is, what about all the chatter that Markle is either pregnant or about to be pregnant or anything of that nature?
The public is beyond anxious to learn when Meghan and Harry will procreate, despite the fact that the Royal Beauties only got married this past May.
Now, however, we have some concrete information that may give us an idea of what Markle and Harry have planned.
We’re not talking about some supermarket tabloid report here about Markle and Kate Middleton both being pregnant and expecting on the same day or anything.
Instead, we’re talking about how the attractive newlyweds are preparing to move into their new home at Windsor Castle – and at least one renovation has folks thinking that a baby is on the way.
Actually, that two babies are on the way.
Why is this now a safe assumption to make?
Because part of the work being done on Adelaide Cottage involves a pair of nurseries being set up.
Does this mean Markle is expecting twins?
Or simply that she and Harry plan on having two kids?
Or merely that the size of the home only really allows two nurseries to be built right now?
We can’t answer these questions for certain at the moment.
Rest assured, however, that we’ll continue to ask them until a pregnancy announcement is made!
Says a source to Celebrity Insider:
“Harry and Meghan both feel Adelaide Cottage is the perfect place for them to raise a family together.
“But given that they’re rushing to make room for a baby, palace insiders are whispering that they could be expecting already!”
See! We’re not the only ones constantly refreshing our browsers for confirmation and hoping to hear the exciting news from Meghan and Harry at some point soon.
Prince Harry has already sai that he “would love to be a dad,” while Markle admitted that it was her “dream to start a family.”
There’s no doubt that the stars will eventually become parents.

Duggar Kids Demand Time Off: We"re Sick of Living In Front of a Camera!
Often when the fine denizens of the internet are spewing invective against reality stars in some sort of online forum the phrase “get a real job” is bandied about.
Far be it for us to defend the Kardashians and Snookis of the world — people who could buy and sell us despite never having set foot in an office in their adult lives — but life as a reality star can actually be quite demanding.
And as the Duggar family is now learning the hard way, it’s particularly tough on young people.
According to a new report from Radar Online, the Jim Bob and Michelle’s offspring have essentially formed a union.
Their sole demand?
No more round-the-clock filming.
Yes, apparently, the Jana, Jill, Jessa, et al. are fed up with living their lives in the presence of a camera crew.
They don’t want to give up the gig entirely, mind you — it still beats the hell out of punching the clock at a 9 to 5, after all — they’re just sick of feeling like slaves to Counting On‘s demanding production schedule.
“The kids just don’t want to be in front of the cameras 24/7,” one insider tells Radar.
“They have a big break in between filming to carry on with their lives.”
Apparently, the driving force behind this mini-mutiny is second-eldest son John David Duggar.
John David is currently courting Abbie Burnett, and it seems he doesn’t want his first romantic relationship to be painstakingly documented by a full camera crew.
At first, it seems, he kept his relationship on the down-low, and now that it’s out in the open, he insists that he and Abbie be allowed some time away from the cameras.
“John David kept his relationship quiet and hidden so he could enjoy time without press,” says the source.
The other Duggars, apparently inspired by his example, have reportedly also demanded more private time.
But if you’re concerned about the future of Counting On, fear not.
The insider says the Duggar kids are planning to keep working for TLC for the foreseeable future.
“They will keep doing the show for a while,” the source says.
Sounds like they have at least a few more seasons left in them.
But just to be safe, you might want to watch Counting On online while you still can.

Nikki Bella and John Cena: It"s Over! For Good! For Real This Time!
Nikki Bella and John Cena have tapped out.
For good and for real this time, one half of this long-time and famous couple says.
Following a lot of back and forth this spring, which even included a public and heartfelt plea for reconciliation from the multiple-time WWE champion, Bella has told People Magazine that her romance with Cena is over.
She will not be getting back together with him, chiseled body and enormous biceps notwithstanding.
“After I called off the engagement, we tried to work on our relationship to get back to where it was, and in order to move forward with our wedding,” Bella said this week, adding:
“After much time and soul-searching alone and together, we have decided to officially part ways.
“I had a beautiful and loving 6-year relationship with a wonderful man. I have the utmost respect for John, but I know this is what’s best for me.”
Back in April, Cena and Bella called off their engagement, as Nikki mentions in her statement above.
They said at the time that the decision was “difficult,” but necessary and asked for their privacy to be respected.
This request, of course, was a tad bit ironic when you stop to think that Cena and Bella have agreed to have their lives filmed for the reality show Total Bellas.
Moreover, it was Cena himself who went ahead and made a few details of their previous split public.
The wrestler appeared days later on The Today Show and poured his very handsome heart out.
“I still love Nicole, I still would love to marry Nicole, I still would love to have a family with Nicole,” Cena said on national television, explaining that he’s very open to having children, a pretty extreme change in his earlier stance on this topic.
“I don’t want anybody else.
“I love Nicole and I’m really trying to support her in her trying to find whatever it is she wants that made this fall apart in the first place,” Cena added a few months ago.

Fast forward to the end of May and Cena appeared to have gotten his wish.
Sources claimed back then that the stars had reunited, although perhaps it should have been telling that neither Cena nor Bella themselves commented on this supposed reconciliation.
This latest break-up news, meanwhile, comes just one day after Bella was seen calling off their engagement for a second time during the season finale of Total Bellas.
The episode was taped many months ago, it’s worth noting.
But it’s also worth noting just what Nikki said at the time about the relationship.
It just sucks,” she said during the finale, adding:
“I wish it could be different and I think that’s why I’ve had almost six years of working on us and fighting and just taking in a lot. I just feel like I’ve hit the point that I’m just so exhausted and done.”
Bella didn’t sound bitter than and she doesn’t sound bitter now.
But she does sound sure of herself.
“It’s just hard when you love someone so much and care for them so much, but you just can’t do it anymore,” Nikki tearfully concluded on the episode.
“It’s not his fault, it’s not my fault. We’ve had this amazing love story and it’s just come to an end.”

Samantha Grant Trashes Chrissy Teigen as "Pudgy Airhead," Ignites Greatest Feud of Our Time
Samantha Grant has gone ahead and really done it now.
The estranged half-sister of Meghan Markle has spent the past year or so attacking her famous sibling, going after the new Duchess for ignoring their father and for essentially abandoning her family.
In Samantha’s very misguided opinion, that is.
About a week ago, for example, Samantha – who is 17 years older than Meghan and who did not grow up in the same household as Prince Harry’s better half – Tweeted the following:
Act like a humanitarian, act like a woman. If our father dies, it’s on you Meg.
How lovely, right?
A few days after Grant penned these kinds words to Markle, the pair’s father gave yet another interview to yet another British publication.
And, yet again, Thomas Markle absolutely BLASTED his daughter, accusing Meghan of cutting him off and holding a grudge against him for skipping her wedding and actively taking credit for everything Markle has accomplished.
This is not even hyperbole.
“What riles me is Meghan’s sense of superiority,” Thomas said to The Daily Mail, adding over this past weekend:
“She’d be nothing without me. I made her the duchess she is today. Everything that Meghan is, I made her.”
Markle has most remained silent while having her name endlessly dragged through the mud by her relatives.
But Chrissy Teigen could no longer sit idly by after reading Thomas’ latest insult-filled Q&A.
It’s unclear whether Teigen even knows Markle, but the former model has become well known for honest, open and hilarious approach to social media.
She’ll basically write anything, about any topic, at any time.
Heck, she once publicly told husband John Legend he could no longer bang her doggy style.
So… into the Markle-infested waters did Teigen wade on Sunday, Tweeting in response to Thomas’ ridiculous interview:
“this guy…this guy sucks. what is wrong with him? let your daughter be happy, please. this is embarrassing.”
Naturally, this set off Samantha Grant, who is constantly looking for any opportunity she can find to make headlines.
“So this pudgy airhead… who knows nobody in the family is opening her pie hole?” wrote Grant on her private Twitter page, concluding of her dad and of Chrissy:
“This guy” is our father and deserves a lot of respect. You are the one who sucks.”
We can’t help but wonder whether Donald Trump ghost wrote this Tweet for Samantha.
Teigen has not yet responded to Grant.
She may not do so because Grant is not worthy of anyone’s time and is just desperately trying to milk her 15 Minutes of Fame for as long as humanly possible.
But Teigen has never exactly been afraid of a fight, having taunted Donald Trump to the point that he recently blocked her.
We sort of hope she ignores Grant, but we sort of hope she goes all Chrissy Teigen on her as well.

Ryan Edwards Facing HOW MUCH Time in Jail?!
Things aren’t looking too good right now for Ryan Edwards.
But then again, have they ever?
Still, things are looking especially bleak for him right now, considering he’s been in jail for the past few days.
There have been a few conflicting reports about what happened, but we do know that Ryan’s legal troubles started last year, when he was arrested for possession of heroin.
He was sentenced to a year of probation, which he broke back in March by failing a drug test — for that, he was sentenced to six more months of probation.
On Monday, he was arrested for a third time.
There have been conflicting reports about what happened, with some outlets claiming he was arrested for possession again and others claiming the arrest was for failing to appear in court back in May.
Either way, it’s bad news for Ryan — bad enough that he’s being held without bond.
That means that he’ll be hanging out in jail until his next court date, which is on August 6th.
And after that?
Well, it’s not looking great.
Nashville attorney Ben Raybin is speaking out about Ryan’s case, and although he’s not working for Ryan or connected to him at all, he does have a good idea about how the law works, and especially how it works in Tennessee, Ryan’s home state.
About the possibility of Ryan spending any real time in jail, he says “It really depends on the case, as far as whether somebody would be going to jail or rehab after getting busted for heroin possession.”
“Usually in this state we do try to send people to treatment for when they’re found with drugs,” he explains.
But in cases like Ryan’s, when a person has violated probation multiple times, “then at that point the judge says enough is enough and says they are going to jail and at that point they can put all the offender’s sentences into effect.”
For Ryan specifically, he says “I can tell you he is facing up to 11 months and 29 days in jail just on this most recent charge of simple heroin possession.”
“But that’s not all because he has a prior suspended sentence as well as probation that the judge could choose to add to his sentence.”
“To break it down,” he continues, “Ryan has the six months of probation he was sentenced to (in March 2018) as well as a suspended sentence of 11 months and 29 days stemming back to his very first arrest.”
“He was able to get that sentence suspended but that does not mean it’s gone.”
“It’s hanging over his head,” he says, “and since he has violated probation, if the judge chooses to he can do what I call un-suspend it.”
Essentially, a judge could take all that time, add it up, and Ryan could spend two and a half years in jail.
Ben does add that he thinks “it’s probably unlikely that he would get totally maxed out on all of that but he is potentially facing two and a half years total in jail at this point.”
We’re not lawyers, of course, but it does seem unlikely that a judge would just throw a few more months of probation to Ryan at this point.
Which is especially unfortunate, considering his wife, Mackenzie Standifer, is pregnant with his child and is due in just over two months.
It’s also a little embarrassing, considering Ryan and Mackenzie were going on and on last week about how sober he is and how hard he’s been working on his recovery.
Remember, Mackenzie said that MTV told them that they were letting them go because “they don’t want to show Ryan as a recovering addict.”
But reports claimed that what actually happened was that Maci Bookout told the network that she refused to film if Ryan was filming — Bristol Palin was hired while MTV tried to figure out what to do.
Maci’s reasoning behind her demand was allegedly that she believed Ryan was still on drugs and she didn’t want Bentley to be able to watch his father spiral even further out of control.
Knowing what we know now, it seems like there’s quite a bit of truth to that.
Whatever happens, whether it turns out to be years in jail, we hope Ryan is able to get clean, for real this time.
Goodness knows we love Teen Mom drama, but this is just too much.

Javi Marroquin: I Was Banging Kailyn, Briana & Lauren at the Same Time!
Do these kids ever let up?
All of the ladies of Teen Mom 2 have a lot of drama in their lives, but perhaps no one"s love life is more complicated than Kailyn Lowry"s.
We"ve known for quite some time that the exes briefly got back together, but now, Kail has finally copped to it on the show.
Needless to say, Briana DeJesus probably didn"t love hearing it.
The bad news is, it looks as though all four parties (including Lauren Comeau) who are involved here are doomed to lives of non-stop drama.
The good news is, we get to watch it all unfold!
1. They Just Can’t Quit Each
Javi and Kailyn have been off and on for years. But their latest hookup may have been motivated by revenge and jealousy.
2. The New Couple
Bri and Javi didn’t date for very long, but their relationship carried consequences that are still reverberating months after their breakup.
3. The Rivals
Kailyn and Briana flat-out hate each other, and as far as we can tell Bri went after Javi basically as a means of getting revenge on Kail.
4. The Timeline
Earlier this season Kail admitted to hooking up with Javi. Fans had known about low-key reconciliation for quite some time, but Kail’s revelation complicated Javi’s love life in a big way.
5. Overlap
Javi was involved with three different women in the span of just a few short weeks — and now it seems he didn’t bother dumping one before hooking up with the next.
6. Simpler Times Ahead?
These days, Javi is engaged to Lauren Comeau, who is expecting his child. But that doesn’t mean the skeletons of his romantic past are content to remain buried.

Farrah Abraham Faces Jail Time on Assault Charges, Still Denies Everything
Farrah Abraham … she"s just such a special soul, isn"t she?
Rarely do we ever see a person so delusional, so misguided, so completely incapable of saying words.
Over the years, she"s been getting worse, too, to the point where she"s starting to get herself in trouble.
Remember when she was arrested for assaulting an employee at a hotel last month?
As if the incident itself wasn"t bad enough for her, she"s now facing some consequences for what she (allegedly!) did.
And those consequences are actually pretty intense.
1. Sigh …
This is Farrah. You know Farrah! She is an absolute mess.
2. You Can’t Do That, Farrah
She’s such a mess that last month, she was arrested at a hotel in Beverly Hills after hitting a security guard.
3. Girl, No
According to police and several witnesses, Farrah seemed to be intoxicated and she’d been arguing with other guests at the hotel. Things were bad enough that the security guard came to kick her out, and that’s when she started getting violent.
4. Just Stop
She also said things like “you should know who I am,” and she even told the responding police officers “go f-ck yourselves,” which is just too embarrassing to handle.
5. Great Parenting, As Usual
While she was being arrested, her daughter, Sophia, was fast asleep in their hotel room. So that’s cute.
6. Jail Time!
She spent that night and the next morning in jail before getting bailed out that afternoon, and when she was released, she was quick to tell everyone that she was “targeted” and that she didn’t do anything wrong. Because of course she didn’t.
