Kanye West at the VMAs: I Love Taylor Swift! And Ray J!

It had been too long since out last Kanye West rant, hadn"t it?

Fortunately, the rapper did anything but disappoint with his time on stage at the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards.

According to multiple sources, producers gave the rapper four minutes and said he could basically do and/or say anything he pleased during this time.

Considering Kanye announced his plans to run for President in 2020 at last year"s ceremony, it was impossible to guess what he would say this year.

Introducing his latest music video, for the track "Fade," West came out to the stage at the video for "Famous" played in the background.

This is how he opened his speech:

“I am Kanye West, and that feels really great to say, especially this year. I came here to present my new video, but before I do that, I’ma talk.”

He then went on to mock himself a bit, making a reference to the 2009 VMAs and his interruption of Taylor Swift after she won Video of the Year.

“Now, later tonight, ‘Famous’ might lose to Beyonce, but I can’t be mad. I’m always wishing for Beyonce to win,” he said, prior to bringing up his controversial video.

“For people to understand just how blessed we are, it was an expression of our now, our fame right now, us on the inside of the TV.

"Just the audacity to put Anna Wintour next to Donald Trump – I put Ray J in there, bro!"

West is talking first here about the "Famous" video that depicts many celebrities in bed naked together. (Click below to see said celebrities naked.)

And, yes, Ray J is the man who banged Kanye"s wife, Kim Kardashian, in video many years ago.

West then shifted from sex tape partners to rumored rivals and ex-girlfriends.

“This is fame, bro! I see you Amber! My wife is a G. Not a lot of people’s wives would let them say that right there.

"We came over on the same boat, now we all in the same bed. Well, maybe different boats. But if you think about last week, it was 22 people murdered in Chicago.

"People come up to me, like, ‘That’s right, tell Taylor!’ I’m like, ‘Bro, I love all y’all! That’s why I called her!”

In this case, Kanye is talking about he and Kim"s alleged feud with Swift.

She is dissed a couple times on "Famous" and a phone call released on Snapchat by Kim proves that Kanye actually did call Taylor and get her approval for these lyrics.

She had denied that fact and Kardashian chose to expose her as a liar.

Doesn"t sound like much love is there to us, but you keep rambling, Kanye. It"s what you do best.

"If you feel like you seeing people dying right next to you, you might feel like what’s the point?

"Life might feel worthless in a way. I know for me, I sit down and talk to older, like rich people – a.k.a white – and they tell me, ‘Don’t compare yourself to Steve Jobs. Don’t compare yourself to Walt Disney.

"My roles model are artists, merchants – less than 10 than I can name in history. Truman, Ford, Hughes, Disney, Jobs, West,” he said. “Tonight, we’re here to have fun.

"I’m standing in front of my idol, Puff Daddy. I’m standing in front of my wife, Kim Kardashian West. I’m standing in front of the future, Chance The Rapper."

In conclusion, before the audience got to see his new video and its star, Teyana Taylor, Kanye said:

"We are undeniably the influencers, the thought leaders. I’m going to play y’all a piece of my art, and I just hope ya’ll have a good time."

Classic Kanye, huh? He brought up Taylor Swift, Amber Rose and Ray J. Amazing.
