Kate Middleton: Why Is She ALWAYS Carrying That Clutch?
Kate Middleton is not a woman we think of as being particularly mysterious.
Sure, there are some conspiracy theories about Kate (the Queen hates her and wants her beheaded; she weaseled her way into the royal family by threatening to expose them as lizard people, etc.), but for the most part she lives her life in the open.
However, there’s one persistent enigma that’s haunted Kate-watchers from the second she decided she was willing to overlook Will’s face for a shot at becoming royalty:
Why is she forever clutching that clutch like it’s got the antidote inside?
If, like us, you spend the bulk of your spare time poring over pics of Kate with a magnifying glass in hopes of being the first to spot the next Kate Middleton wardrobe malfunction (don’t judge!), then you know she’s seldom photographed without it.
Obviously, it’s not always the same clutch; Kate always coordinates with whatever outfit she’s wearing.
But a clutch of some variety is the Duchess’ constant companion at royal engagements, and we demand to know why, dammit!
We’ll get to the less important matters like Putin installing a puppet dictator as our president later.
Fortunately, we’re not the only ones obsessing over Kate’s mystery bag.
Myka Meier, the made-up sounding founder of an NYC etiquette school, recently told Good Housekeeping that there’s a very practical reason why Kate always has two hands on her clutch (tee-hee), like a running back who prides himself on his fundamentals.
“[Kate] holds her bag in front of her in both hands when shaking hands might be awkward,” Meier says.
So the bag is probably empty, and it’s a prop for an elaborate charade to avoid unwanted physical contact.
We’re actually kind of with Kate on this one.
In fact, we wouldn’t mind if 2017 became the year that we altogether abolished handshakes as a form of greeting.
They’re pointless and outdated, and there’s always that one jerk-ass who has to assert dominance by trying to crush your phalanges into a fine powder.
Hey, now that we have a tiny-handed president, maybe they’ll be outlawed! Silver lining!
Anyway, it seems like Kate’s ubiquitous accessory isn’t actually necessary, as there are rules in place to help royals avoid touching peasant flesh.
William Hanson, an expert on royal etiquette, who presumably questions his career choices every hour on the hour, says Kate needn’t go to such extremes simply to avoid pressing palms with the plebes:
“The Duchess of Cambridge may well prefer not to shake hands with certain people – but there are other ways to achieve this, as used by The Queen and other members of the royal family, than opting for a clutch over a bag with a strap,” Hanson tells the Daily Mail, presumably while nibbling on a crumpet.
‘It is protocol that you do not extend your hand to any member of the royal family (blood royal or those who have married in to the family) unless their hand extends first.’
Hanson says the key to Kate avoiding unwanted physical contact lies in passive-aggressive hand gestures.
“A courteous smile at those whom she does not have time to shake hands will suffice.”
We think Hanson is missing the point here:
Instead of being coached to ditch her accessory, Kate should be praised for her ingenious method of dodging unwanted social niceties.
Now if she figures out a way to avoid small talk with in-laws, the UK should just go ahead and put her face on all of its currency.

Jenelle Evans SLAMS Sister Ashleigh: She"s Always Been Jealous!
On Monday night, MTV aired Being Barbara, a “Teen Mom 2 special” focusing on Jenelle Evans’ famously ill-tempered mother.
Fans were eager for the in-depth look at where Jenelle (aptly nicknamed “the Carolina Hurricane”) may have learned her outspoken ways.
Not surprisingly, Evans was not happy with the way she was portrayed in the special and once again lashed out at Teen Mom 2 editors for depicting her in a negative light.
Many fans were critical of Evans on social media, and it appears that even her co-star Kailyn Lowry was shocked by how badly Jenelle came off.
Some viewers, however, chose to focus on the behavior of Jenelle’s family, particularly her mother and her seldom-seen sister, Ashleigh:
“I don’t speak of or to her,” Jenelle tweeted during the broadcast.
“I tried being nice to her and this is what she does. She rolls with majority.”
In response to a fan who complained that Ashleigh had “nothing positive” to say about Jenelle despite her recent progress, Evans wrote:
“Reason why my sister doesn’t even have my phone number or address. She’s always been jealous of me.”
The 24-year-old single mom also retweeted a fan who wrote:
“What’s up with Ashleigh? Talking shit about @PBandJenelley_1 but doesn’t have custody of Gabrielle?”
Not a whole lot is known about Jenelle’s two older siblings, Ashleigh and Colin, but they generally don’t participate in TM2 tapings and it’s long been rumored that they generally don’t get along with Jenelle.
Somewhat surprising given how much they have in common:
Colin and Ashleigh have both been arrested and (as one fan gleefully noted), Ashleigh lost custody of one of her daughters.
It’s somewhat ironic that when Jenelle lost custody of her eldest son, the boy went to Barbara – who doesn’t seem to have done the greatest job with her own kids.

Tyga: I Will ALWAYS Love Kylie Jenner!
It"s been only a few days since the public first learned of Kylie Jenner"s breakup with Tyga, and while the former has stayed mum on the subject, the latter"s been doing some talking.
Earlier this week, the rapper broke his silence by telling reporters asking about the split that he was doing "good, you know" and trying to "achieve big things and evolve."
it was a little generic.
But TMZ caught up with Tyga at LAX, and he went a little deeper.
When asked whether he thought the age difference between him and the 18-year-old played a role in their relationship"s demise, Tyga took a long pause, as if trying hard to remember the script his publicist gave him.
Finally, he offered this:
"I think, you know… we"re both just focused on our individual lives right now. Sometimes things just don’t work out, you know."
"But I love her,” he added.
When asked if there"d always be love between them, he answered, "For sure."
Of course, what celebs say to the paparazzi is often in contrast to what they say when off the mic.
Earlier this week, a source claimed he called Kylie a "fake b*tch," annoyed that she posed for a pic and pretended to bury the hatchet with her longtime foe and Tyga"s baby mama, Blac Chyna.
Speaking of Blac Chyna, in the video below, Tyga speaks on her pregnancy, too.
When asked about it, he first flashes a knowing grin to his buddy, like, watch how I spin this shiz, bruh.
He mumbled something about how people "grow" and used the word "evolve" again (word of the week?), then returned to his standard response:
"Everybody should have the opportunity at love."
But when the pap asked if he thought Rob Kardashian would be a good stepdad to his son King Cairo, he drew the line.
"Don"t go too far with that," he said bluntly.
I think he just spoke volumes.

Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan: They Always Hated Each Other!
According to a recent report, Michael Strahan has not spoken to Kelly Ripa since a meeting with ABC executives on Tuesday in which the latter learned the former was leaving for Good Morning America.
According to another recent report, however, this should come as no surprise.
Because Ripa and Strahan never got along.
“It was all for the show,’’ an insider close to Ripa tells The New York Post of Kelly and Michael’s supposedly cordial relationship.
“They could not stand each other, and whenever they communicated off-camera, it was always through their reps.”
Ripa has reportedly remained angry all week; less over Strahan receiving a raise to co-anchor GMA full-time (starting in September) than over the delay in her finding out about this network decision.
Kelly believes she deserves to have been told about this major change to Live! in advance of the public finding out about it.
In response, Ripa did not show up for Wednesday’s episode of the program and no one is certain when she’ll return.
Strahan – a former New York Giants defensive star – was already working two days a week at GMA, on top of co-hosting Live! each morning… and the stress was allegedly taking its toll.
“He was having temper tantrums,” Page Six writes.
“He’d lose it, yelling at [Ripa] and [executive producer Michael] Gelman. He acted like he was in a locker room, not a dressing room.”
A source close to Strahan, however, insists that Michael was advised by network higher-ups to remain mum on his new GMA role.
This same source refutes the notion that Kelly and Michael only spokes through middle men, but does acknowledge that plenty of “tension” existed between the colleagues.
Ripa, meanwhile, was replaced this morning by Erin Andrews.
The reporter tried to joke with Strahan, asking if anything of note had been going on with him, to which Michael laughed and replied “Too soon! Too soon!”
To many, though, Ripa cannot return to Live! soon enough.
But will she return to a chair across from Strahan?
“I don’t believe that co-hosting together is a viable option anymore,” a source tells People Magazine.
“Anything is possible, but that doesn’t seem like a viable option. Practically, it’s a different dynamic now.”

Beyonce Sings "I Will Always Love You" in Surprise Performance for Blue Ivy"s School!
Imagine attending a benefit for your child"s school. You"d probably expect some canned speeches, lukewarm hors d"oeuvres and maybe a dance number or two from some cute-ish kids.
You"re sipping some cheap Chardonnay and waiting for the evening to be over when suddenly…
BEYONCE.
This is exactly what happened (okay, we"re not sure about the Chardonnay) during a benefit for the Center for Early Education’s 75th Anniversary Gala in Los Angeles, which happens to be where Bey"s four-year-old daughter Blue Ivy attends classes, according to Us Weekly.
Queen Bey reportedly took the stage at the Shrine Auditorium during a surprise performance at the gala and sang her hits "Crazy in Love," "Halo" and "XO" and covered Whitney Houston"s "I Will Always Love You."
Beyonce covered the Houston classic the day after autopsy reports of the late singer"s daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, were released on what would have been her 23rd birthday.
Interestingly, she did not perform her new hit "Formation," which sparked outrage after Beyonce"s Super Bowl performance of the song was deemed racist.
If you think Bey toned down her moves for the elementary school, guess again.
The queen was bootylicious as ever in a tight, sparkly zebra-print mini dress and showed off her dynamic dance moves along with some sexy backup dancers.
We imagine Blue Ivy is a very popular little girl.

Bella Thorne: My Bully is a Billionaire & She"s Always Flaunting Her Cash!
Last month, we reported that Bella Thorne is being bullied by one of her young Hollywood colleagues.
One famous teen seemed to fit the description perfectly, but Bella has denied that Kylie Jenner is her mean girl.
So who could it be?
Unfortunately, Bella refuses to spill the beans, but she has continued dropping breadcrumbs, and we’re sure someone will figure this mystery out eventually. We’re counting on you, Internet!
“It’s not I hate her because she’s a billionaire,” Thorne clarified in a recent interview with the Huffington Post.
“I don’t like her because she is a billionaire and makes sure everyone knows that she is, which is like, I didn’t grow up with money or anything like that. And even if I did, I’m not very much like that.”
Bella continued to frame the battle as a class matter, casting herself as the hot, redheaded Bernie Sanders doing battle with some catty young Donald Trump:
“If somebody wasn’t flaunting it in a mean way to make other people feel bad about themselves, then I would not mind it,” she told the website.
“It’s when people do it in certain types of ways that make you not appreciate them as much.”
Bella assured fans that she’s doing just fine, and she says she only talks about this feud so that her fans who are struggling with bullying will realize that they’re not alone.
“It’s not necessarily about one person,” she said. “There’s always a mean girl in school – it’s in Hollywood too.
“Our life is not so overly glamorous. It’s exactly what you’re going through, but there’s photos taken of it.”
The life of a young Hollywood starlet might differ from your own in more ways than the number of times you’re photographed over the course of a day, but we see her point.

Zayn Malik Admits: I Always Wanted Out of One Direction!
Zayn Malik may have taken the tween universe by surprise when he left One Direction in March.
But the singer did not take himself by any kind of surprise. Because he admits in a new interview that his departure from the beloved boy band was a very long time coming.
“It’s a nice feeling to come out of a place where you are being told what to do and just to be upset because of certain expectations or certain things that people wanted to see,” Malik says in a teaser for his interview with The Fader.
Malik said at the time of his One Direction departure that he wanted to just be "normal" for a little while.
But fans grew skeptical once it became clear that Malik was about to embark on a solo career as an artist instead. They felt betrayed.
Zayn has since signed that solo deal and her new music on the way.
“I don’t feel like people really know what I’m going to give them, musically,” Malik says. “And once they hear it, I feel like they will understand me a little bit more, and they’ll understand why I did what I did, and why I left the band, and why I had to write this shit down.
"Because for five – not even for five years, for ten years, this album has been in my brain, and it’s just been there, sat with me, needing to be out.”
So, for years and years, Malik has been planning to break free from Harry Styles and company?

Lamar Odom Before Overdose: Khloe Kardashian Will Always Be My Girl!
Lamar Odom has always had so much love for Khloe Kardashian – even if his actions and addictions suggested otherwise – within his heart.
He gushed about her just days before the now infamous Lamar Odom overdose that nearly took his life, and brought the two back together.
The former NBA star confessed his feelings for her in a tabloid interview the week before he was found unconscious in a Las Vegas brothel.
“Me and Khloe always talk,” the 35-year-old athlete said, echoing a sentiment he has expressed often during their two-year separation.
“We’re always in touch even when we’re out of touch.”
“I speak to Khloé indirectly every night before I go to sleep,” he continued, pensively. “We’ll always be connected. Khloe’s my girl. Always.”
“If we’re holding hands or a thousand miles apart.”
At the time, Khloe Kardashian was dating James Harden of the NBA’s Houston Rockets, though she put the kibosh on that after Odom OD’d.
“I would never comment on another man and what he does,” he said of his wife’s then-paramour. “Me and Khloe are just me and Khloe …”
“We’ll always be connected, you know? No matter what.”
Some prescient words, as it incredibly turned out.
Rumors of Kardashian texting Harden from Odom’s bedside may be true … but if so, she was likely calling things off with the basketball star.
James has yet to comment on being dispatched.
Despite signing the papers this summer, Khloe and Lamar’s divorce is called off, as her lawyer withdrew the filing in court 24 hours ago.
The amazing turnaround came a week after the 31-year-old rushed to be by Odom’s side after he was found near death in Nevada.
Kardashian was in charge of making Odom’s medical decisions while he was in a coma, and has not left his side for one moment since.
Think it will last this time around for the couple? Lamar swearing off drugs was enough for Khloe, but will he remain true to his word?

Michelle Duggar Shades Anna in Marriage Advice Column: ALWAYS Meet Your Man"s Needs!
Michelle Duggar’s new “Marriage Advice For Newlyweds” blog post doesn’t call out Anna Duggar by name, but man alive, does it read like a cheap shot.
In the post, which she penned Friday, Duggar matriarch Michelle urges newlywed and even pregnant wives to satisfy their man’s needs, ALL the time.
Sharing advice a friend once gave her about marriage, she writes: “Anyone can iron Jim Bob’s shirt … he can get his lunch somewhere else.”
“But you are the only one who can meet that special need that he has in his life for intimacy. You’re it. You’re the only one. So don’t forget that.”
“He needs you. So when you are exhausted at the end of the day, and you fall into bed so exhausted at night, don’t forget about him.”
“Because you and he are the only ones who can have that time together,” she urges. “No one else in the world can meet that need.”
Michelle notes that pregnancy does NOT exempt a wife from this, and that you had better not just go through the motions, either:
“Be available, and not just available, but be joyfully available for him. Smile and be willing to say, ‘Yes, sweetie I am here for you.’ No matter what.”
“Even though you may be exhausted, big and pregnant and you may not feel like he feels. ‘I’m still here for you and I’m going to meet that need."”
“‘Because I know it’s a need for you."”
In fairness to Michelle, she goes on to say that by doing this for your husband, “he’ll lay down his life” for you and meet your “needs” 24/7 as well.
Whether that’s true or not, who knows, and clearly her views on gender roles are extremely dated, but she does (somehow) see it as a two-way street.
She also urges, separately, for couples to actively seek marriage counseling if they have problems and do handle their issues privately. Sage advice.
Still, the fact that she doled out that bit of sex advice on the heels of Josh Duggar’s sex scandal is amazing, and brazenly insensitive … at best.
Does Michelle believe, as the Duggar family pastor does, that Anna is to blame for Josh cheating on her by not “taking care of” his needs in bed?
Was Michelle’s commentary a thinly-veiled dig at her daughter-in-law for not living up to her end of the bargain? Or was Anna not even on her mind?
That we’ll never know.
But reading this after porn addict Josh cheated on her with Danica Dillon, a second porn star and who knows who else he met on Ashley Madison?!
You have to wonder what she’s implying, and you have to hope that Anna Duggar leaves Josh if this is the kind of “wisdom” his family still espouses.
