Plane Crashes in Colombia, Kills Brazillian Soccer Team Members
Tragedy has struck the world of professional soccer.
A chartered plane transporting Brazilian football team Chapecoense to Medellin’s international airport in Colombia crashed on Monay night, killing 76 people.
According to Colombian officials, only five people survived the accident.
The team was on its way to play Bolivia in the Copa Sudamericana tournament when the aircraft went down.
Just prior to the crash, crew members reported electrical problems on the vehicle as it flew over towns near Medellin.
Aviation authorities have confirmed that a state of emergency was declared around 10 p.m. local time as a result of these malfunctions.
Among the five survivors were player Alan Ruschel… a journalist … and a flight attendant, the latter of whom reportedly told authorities that the plane ran out of fuel before crashing.
Ruschel reportedly suffered injuries, including a lumbar spine fracture, and went straight into surgery after he was rescued, NBC News reports.
As pictured above, the team actually posed for a selfie just moments before boarding the plane.
The charter aircraft took off from Bolivia and was carrying 72 passengers and nine crew members, including Chapecoense; the squad was scheduled to play in the first leg of the Copa Sudamericana final against Atletico Nacional on Wednesday in Medellin.
In response to this tragedy, CONMEBOL – South American football’s governing body – has released a statement that says Copa Sudamericana final and “all federation activities” have been suspended until further notice.
The Copa Sudamericana is South America’s secondary competition involving club’s across the continent; it ranks below the Copa Libertadores.
In a message on their Facebook page, Chapecoense said:
“May God accompany our athletes, officials, journalists and other guests traveling with our delegation.”
Added the Brazilian Football Federation: “Our solidarity and prayers are with the passengers and crew.”
Chapecoense player Alejandro Martinuccio, who was not traveling with his team due to injury, was quoted by Spanish outlet Marca as telling Radio de la Red:
“We are all at the club, we cannot believe it.”
He added:
“We are waiting on news, I have survived as I was injured. I feel a deep sadness for my teammates. The only thing I can say is to pray for them.”
The team played in a small, 22,000-seat stadium in the town of Chapeco. Players had an especially close relationship with fans there.
“Chapecoense was the biggest source of happiness in the town,” the club’s vice-president, Ivan Tozzo, told Brazil’s SporTV. “Many in the town are crying.”

Man Sips From Wife"s Menstrual Cup, Kills Entire Internet at Once
A man on Reddit openly admitted that he discovered he’d accidentally been drinking from his wife’s menstrual cup – which, for all of you not in-the-know, is a period blood catcher.

He wrote, “Ok, not just today, but I found out today about something I’ve been doing for a couple of weeks.”
“My wife and I have a toddler and so our bathtub is always full of toyos, including non-bath toys our son insists on bringing in anyway.”
You know how that goes – measuring cups, family pets, sometimes the television remote.
“If anyone has kids,” he continued, “you know they come with all kinds of nonsense-looking pieces.”
“Some of these pieces my wife puts up in the hanging basket, out of reach of our son, if it’s not supposed to get wet or it’s an important toy or something.”
“I brush my teeth in the shower every morning,” he explained.
“And after my wife had taken out the cup I use to rinse my mouth out, I picked up the closest thing to a cup that was in the hanging basket.”
“Figured it was one of these weird pieces to a toy,” he reasoned.
“It worked fine to get a mouthful of water for rinsing after I brush.”
“Cut to today in the car,” he continued.
“My wife is talking about lady stuff and mentions her menstrual cup in the shower.”
… Dear God no.
“After a moment of spinning into the depths of hell, I asked her to please, for the love of gods, tell me it’s not that rubber cup thing in the basket.”

First of all, friend, those things, since they have to be inserted into a very important and sensitive area, are probably pretty sterile to begin with.
Unless, of course, your wife is a slob who has no concept of feminine hygiene.

Ryan Edwards: Maci Bookout"s Ex Kills Cats, Brags About It
Ryan Edwards kills felines, and he’s not sorry about it.
Maci Bookout’s ex and baby daddy starting bragging about killing cats on social media, which upset a lot of people.
Why does the Tennessee native do it?
According to Radar Online, Edwards explained to everyone who doesn’t understand that these evil cats are vandals! And car scratchers! And all-around unpleasant animals that pee on everything. They are the worst!
Edwards, always so eloquent with words, posted this message to all them haters:
“When they start living under you [sic] house and having 100 babies that scratch your car and boat and piss on everything and get into your garbage let me know,” he wrote.
“Lol and you can go to jail for vandalizing people’s property and trespassing so I guess I’ll call the cops next time lol. Like you ppl are stupid.

Eager to rile up those opposed to his killing of cats, Edwards shared a photo of his rifle at the dinner table with the caption, “LOL.”
“Fucking savage,” one person wrote.
“This is so sad for these poor cats,” another wrote.
And in a move that makes us think he might be a sociopath, Edwards wrote this response:

Toddler Kills Newborn Sibling; Former Reality Star Charged with Manslaughter
This is a truly horrible story.
Kathleen Steele, a 62-year old who appeared on a reality show titled “I’m Pregnant and 55 Years Old,” has been charged with aggravated manslaughter.
And the details of the case are simply incomprehensible.
According to Pinellas County Sheriff Bob Gualtieri, Steele’s six-year-old son beat his newborn sister to death while the kids and their three -year old brother were left alone.
The victim was 13 days old.
The incident took place on Monday afternoon after Steele left the three children inside her minivan while she visited a cellphone store in St. Petersburg.
“It was one of the worst things I’ve ever seen,” Gualtieri said during a press conference yesterday, per The Tampa Bay Times.
Officials have confirmed that Steele’s two youngest children were born through artificial insemination, using her husband’s frozen sperm.
The husband died of cancer in 2011 at age 66.
As a result, Steele has been raising the kids on her own.
The newspaper went on to write that the Florida native had taken the baby to a doctor Monday morning because she was not eating properly.
The pediatrician found nothing wrong with the little girl and later said there were no signs of bruising or trauma at the time of the visit.
A few hours later, Steele went into the cellphone store.
Investigators say the six-year old boy was trying to calm the crying baby, as the toddler actually used a doll to show police how he went about doing this.
In front of the authorities, he repeatedly slammed the newborn’s head into the minivan’s ceiling and showed how he bludgeoned her to death.
Steele then returned to the van… her son tried to tell her something was wrong with the newborn… she she ignored him and even made another stop before returning home.
She did not notice the baby’s injuries until then.
“The baby was beaten and traumatized,” the sheriff said. “There was gross swelling in her face. Her skull was cracked in numerous places.”
Authorities went on to say that Steele didn’t even call 911. Instead, she contacted a neighbor, who is a nurse.
This nurse performed CPR until paramedics arrived.
The six-year-old boy will not face criminal charges, although hopefully he will receive some psychiatric treatment.
“The mistake is with the adult Kathleen Steele, not a six-year-old boy,” Gualtieri said.
Steele was already being investigated by child protection investigators due to a minor brain bleed that the baby suffered following a fire.
She was scheduled to be evaluated by investigators on August 1, but she canceled and then rescheduled.
Her sons have been placed in foster care, according to the Florida paper, and she is being held on $ 100,000 bond.

Florida Father Accidentally Shoots, Kills Son
Tragedy has struck a family in Sarasota, Florida.
According to The Tampa Bay Times, a 64-year old man named William Brumby was with his daughter and two sons at the High Noon Gun Range on Sunday when a horrible accident took the life of one of his children.
Both eye witness accounts and surveillance footage say that Brumby was firing rounds in a shooting lane next to a wall.
A short while later, one of the shell casings hit the wall, ricocheted off of it and dropped down the back of the man"s shirt.
Brumby, a father of seven, proceeded to use his right hand (which was holding the weapon) to attempt and remove the shell casing.
As he reached for it, however, he pointed his gun behind him and accidentally fired, hitting his 14-year-old son, Stephen, who was standing behind him.
After being transported to Sarasota Memorial Hospital, Stephen passed away from his injuries.
We cannot begin to imagine how anyone in this family is feeling at the moment.
David Brumby, Stephen"s 24-year-old brother who was also at the gun range with his 12-year-old sister told a local ABC affiliate that Stephen was a sweet child.
"He was the most outgoing, gregarious, friendly, loving person you"d ever know," David said of his late sibling.
David, who was backed up by the medical examiner, also made it clear that his father did NOT point his gun at Stephen.
The bullet that struck his brother had gone up toward the ceiling and ricocheted down. It was a freak accident.
"No matter how calm you try to stay, there"s no way to wipe the images away from your mind of your little brother bleeding out in your arms," he said.
A GoFundMe page has been gone live to assist the family with expenses related to Stephen"s death.
It is unlikely that any charges will be filed against the father.

Man Kills Friend Before He Can Become Zombie, Blames Binge-Watching The Walking Dead
A man who had been watching The Walking Dead reportedly confessed to authorities that he fatally beat his friend before he could become a zombie.
That 23-year-old victim, New Mexico resident Christopher Paquin, was allegedly killed by Damon Perry, also 23 and now being held on a murder charge.
According to media reports, local police officers were called Thursday afternoon to an apartment complex where Perry was allegedly wielding a knife.
They found Paquin’s body inside an apartment unit within the complex and maintenance workers detaining Perry, who admitted he had been drinking.
Perry said Paquin began “to change into a zombie” and tried to bite him, at which point Perry took matters into his own hands … and beyond hands.
He beat Paquin with his hands, feet, an electric guitar and a microwave.
Authorities say Perry attributed his actions to binge-watching The Walking Dead, the hit AMC series which centers on a zombie apocalypse, on Netflix.
All this serves as a cautionary tale that one should likely not watch The Walking Dead online if one is unable to discern fact from fictional TV programs.

South Park Rapes & Kills Canadian Donald Trump & Slams Caitlyn Jenner — See The NSFW Images HERE!
That was a doozy!
Last night’s South Park episode tackled the whole Donald Trump thing and finally showed Caitlyn Jenner after only referring to her in the previous episode!
The episode started off by building on last week’s story by having President Barack Obama applaud Kyle for his speech on tolerance about Jenner. Of course, Kyle was then joined off stage by Miz Jenner.
Shortly there after, Kyle drove off in a car with the reality star, but while they did so, she ran over someone with her car (below) — an obvious reference to her car accident.

But the skewering didn’t stop there as the major plot point for the episode revolved around Mr. Garrison wanting to build a wall to keep the Canadian kids out
This spirals out of control and we end up learning Canada has built their own wall under the order of a Canadian Donald Trump look-alike.
Mr. Garrison’s solution?
“F–k them all to death … until their spirits leave their bodies”

Tragic Details Emerge After Minnesota Father Kills Wife, Three Children, & Then Commits Suicide
So scary and sad.
Brian Short, a father in South Lake Minnetonka, Minnesota, allegedly murdered all three of his teenage children, and his wife, before turning the gun on himself in a suicide at their home earlier this week.
Short, a nurse by trade who also founded a popular nursing website, apparently grabbed his shotgun, walked into the rooms of his children Cole (17), Madison (15), and Brooklyn (14), and shot them one by one.
Then, he turned the gun on his wife Karen, 48, who had grabbed a cell phone and was calling 911 after hearing the first gun shots inside the house. He killed Karen in a separate bedroom of the home, and then went to the garage, where he shot and killed himself.
Authorities only found the bodies several days later after Short failed to show up to work.

Though the family lived in a $ 2 million, 5,600-square foot mansion, Short allegedly found himself with both financial and mental health problems, and sources alleged that police suspect those contributed to Short’s decision to kill his entire family, and then himself.
Obviously, the community has been rocked by the murders. Our thoughts are with the loved ones of the Short family as they deal with the fallout from this terrible tragedy.
