Life of Kylie Recap: The Truth About Tyga

It was out with the old rapper and in with the new rapper on Life of Kylie this week.

The installment once again centered on the show’s main star whining about her fame and good fortune, specifically how being in the spotlight has negatively affected her dating life.

(Note to Kylie Jenner: Don’t want to be famous? Want to experience life a non-celebrity for awhile? Maybe don’t star in your own reality series.)

“I really want to live on a farm and have chickens and raise animals and have a family,” Kylie said early on, actually going with a realtor at one point to see about a farm for sale.

Despite her desire to be far away from the paparazzi, Jenner decided it wasn’t the right time to make this move – but she did at least pick up some chickens to raise at her Calabasas home.

We’re not kidding. 

“I can’t just not live my life and hide in the house,” she said.

Which is true. But, as mentioned parenthetically above, she could not invite cameras into that house.

After determining she’d stick around and stare down the celebrity gossip headlines straight on, Kylie touched on her split from Tyga.

(The stars dated for well over a year, but called off their romance this spring after many up, downs and rumors on both sides.)

“The hardest part about having a relationship, for me, is just that it’s blasted all over the Internet,” Kylie said, adding:

“I feel like I’m in a relationship with the world sometimes.”

As for why she and Tyga are no longer an item?

Kylie didn’t get into any real details, but she had nothing but kind things to say about the artist who will soon return to non-Kardashian obscurity:

“There was absolutely not one thing wrong with me and T. He and I will always, always have a bond.

“There was no crazy fight, we just decided…Well, I decided that I’m really young.

“I don’t want to look back in five years from now and feel like he took something from me when he’s really not that type of person.”

Sick of the spotlight, Kylie took a break from filming late in the installment in order to go buy a new Bentley.

(Seriously, her life is SOOOO hard, you guys.)

Close friend and co-star Jordyn Woods tried to explain where her pal was coming from with the purchase, getting all profound for viewers by saying:

“Materialistic things can only make you feel so good. I really think that with Kylie, it’s really about trying to grasp something that you can’t control.”

Toward the end of the painfully scripted episode, however, Kylie had moved on from riding a new sports car to possibly riding a new man.

The 20-year old giggled at her phone while receiving a bouquet of flowers, even bringing producers into it because she simply could not contain her excitement.

“Did you guys see all my flowers?” she asked the crew while surrounded by quite a number of roses. 

“It looks like someone is obsessed with you,” a producer replied.

“I hope the person I’m dating’s obsessed with me,” Kylie said with a huge smile. 

This person, of course, is current beau Travis Scott.

Kesha Tweets Out Support for Taylor Swift: Truth is Always the Answer!

Ever since Kesha released “Praying” and awed the world with her dazzling vocals, we’ve been rejoicing at her return to music.

(Her whole album, Rainbow, is out now in case you haven’t listened to it yet)

But Kesha’s doing more than music, these days — and is reaching out to Taylor Swift for the best possible reason.

Kesha’s accusations against the songwriter and record producer known as Dr. Luke (real name Lukasz Sebastian Gottwald) are very well known.

She waged a legal battle in an attempt to break away from him so that she could make music that wasn’t under his supervision.

The reason that she wanted to get away? Ten years of alleged mental abuse, physical abuse, and sexual abuse at his hands.

Tragically, the court ruled against Kesha, refusing to set her free of her contract, which effectively put her career in limbo.

It’s sort of unclear, at the moment, what ties — if any — Dr. Luke has to Kesha’s current music and the proceeds from it.

Nobody thinks that Kesha might be working with him, of course.

While our woefully inept legal system might not be equipped to hold Dr. Luke accountable, he was effectively tried and convicted in the court of public opinion.

Like, everybody hates Dr. Luke. And nobody kept their opinion quiet, either.

You had Adele speaking out about him. You had Taylor Swift sending Kesha’s legal fund a quarter of a million dollars.

Sony, the company involved in all of this, was absolutely horrified. Reports said that Sony was searching for a legal way to terminate their own ties with Dr. Luke.

But it’s Taylor Swift’s silent but powerful contribution to Kesha’s cause that we want to talk about.

Because while Taylor Swift may not have suffered to the degree of what Kesha describes for a decade, Taylor Swift has been embroiled in a recent legal battle.

And that battle has been over her own sexual assault.

Taylor Swift accused a radio DJ named David Mueller of groping her back in 2015.

Specifically, Mueller allegedly slid his hand up and grabbed Taylor’s bare butt, leaving her too stunned by the grope to immediately respond.

(That sort of “freezing up in shock” response is pretty common in response to a lot of sexual assaults)

Do worse things happen every single day? Absolutely.

Is crime relative? Is evil relative? No.

You don’t get a pass for stealing a car just because somebody else stole a person, and you don’t get a pass on grabbing somebody’s butt without permission just because someone else spent a decade under the thumb of a controlling abuser.

Mueller lost his job after Taylor went public with her accusation, and he then tried to sue her over it.

A judge tossed out the suit against Taylor Swift just last week, which was widely celebrated even by the people who’ve forsaken Taylor Swift in recent years.

Taylor Swift still has a court date today, however, for her own countersuit against Mueller.

And this is where Kesha comes in:

Kesha, whose star is once again on the rise, tweeted out her support to Taylor just a few hours ago:

“@taylorswift13 i support you always, and especially right now and admire your strength and fearlessness. truth is always the answer.”

That’s beautifully said and also publicly said.

While hopefully Taylor’s case shouldn’t need any help, every voice raised up against things that are awful — whether it’s sexual assault or the terrifying white nationalist rally over the weekend — helps.

Every good voice matters.

Speaking of Kesha’s good voice, by the way … have you heard her album yet?

She released Rainbow on Friday and it soared to the #1 spot (where it remains).

As much as we loved Kesha’s dancier club trash music from 2009 (and we really, truly love a lot of that), she’s moved on and we totally respect that.

Bryan Abasolo: I Can Finally Reveal the Truth About Rachel Lindsay!

Bryan Abasolo has been waiting for this moment.

He’s been biting his tongue, remaining silent, counting down the days until August 7, 2017.

But now the doctor can finally speak his mind. He can finally tell the world what he really thinks of Rachel Lindsay.

And here it is:

HE’S TOTALLY IN LOVE WITH HER!!!!!!

On The Bachelorette finale last night, Lindsay saved her final rose for Abasolo, who responded by getting down on one knee and asking for Rachel’s hand in marriage.

Non-Spoiler Alert: She said yes!

“Right here in this moment, standing with you, I see my forever and I see my future,” she actually said in full on air, telling her future husband:

“I just wanna tell you that I love you and I’m in love with you and I can’t imagine spending my life with anyone else.”

Beautiful words and a lovely sentiment, right?

Just a few hours later, Abasolo replied with his own special message on Instagram.

“Rachel my love, my rock!! It’s felt like forever, but the wait is finally over!!!” he wrote as a caption to the image above.

“No longer do I have to hide the fact that you are and always have been the one for me! No longer do I have to keep secret how in love w you I truly am from the rest of the world!”

Bryan, of course, proposed to Rachel several weeks ago.

But he and his fiancee signed a contract with ABC.

They could not tell anyone that they ended up together, lest they ruin the Season 13 conclusion.

With the exciting secret now out, however, Abasolo is free to gush over his soulmate.

“Hearing you say “yes” on the top of that castle in Spain was the greatest moment of my life!” he continued on Instagram.

“I was optimistic about what could be prior to stepping out of that limo but never in my wildest dreams could I had foreseen us building such a strong foundation and deep bond in the last 6 months.

“Every single day literally gets better and better with you and reaffirms that God placed you in my path for a reason.”

What? No. We’re not crying reading this note.

YOU’RE the one who is crying!

Concluded Abaolo in his love letter to Lindsay:

We’ve gone through so much…the ups, the downs, the challenges…but in the end, what shines above all else is the deep love, loyalty, respect and admiration we have for each other and that’s what will continue to carry us through into our future.

I can’t wait to start our new life together full of fun and adventure! I am so blessed and lucky to have you and I promise to cherish you forever! I love you baby!

As for when Rachel and Bryan will get married? It’s unclear at this time.

As for where the ceremony will take place? Probably in Texas, Lindsay’s home state.

Will it be televised? You never know.

Where are Abasolo and Lindsay right now? “On cloud 9,” the former wrote as a caption to the above snapshot of this engaged couple on board an airplane.

You gotta admit: he’s good.

The Real Housewives of Potomac Season 2 Episode 12 Recap: Home Is Where The Truth Is

Why did Karen make her way out of Potomac?

That was a huge question on The Real Housewives of Potomac Season 2 Episode 12, as the ladies questioned whether there was an ulterior motive for her exit. 

When the episode got underway, the ladies wondered what Karen’s motives were for the random move, but all she could muster in reply was:

“I just want to do me.” Yes, just you keep telling yourself that. 

While the other ladies probed for answers, Karen asked her friends just to be happy for her and move on from asking at every opportunity.

She then dropped the bomb that she was planning a party in her new home but stressed she did not think she would be inviting her fellow cast members because, well, they’re not entirely supportive of her. 

Ashley then proved she was rather despicable by trying to be nice to get on the guest list. Her reason for asking about the move was that she knew the least about it. 

Um, alright then. 

Meanwhile, Juan was gearing up for a new job, and his wife did not seem to think he was up to the challenge. It was a coaching position on the women’s side. 

If you watch The Real Housewives of Potomac online, you will know that the pair has been on the rocks for quite some time and are probably going to be finished soon.

Robyn already knew this, and that’s why she made it her mission to let Juan know she received a lot of attention from the men of Bermuda.  

She then opened up about visiting the therapist and the news that she was to go on a date with another man. Juan’s reaction was less than pleasant when he heard she was taking advice from her friends. 

Robyn then revealed that she does not want to be with anyone else and would be happy with Juan if he managed to give her some more time. 

They ultimately decided it would be a good idea to stay together for six months and if things had improved, they would stay together. If not, well, you get the picture. 

Elsewhere, Monique and her husband officially became Potomac homeowners, and Ashley, Karen, and Charrisse stopped by to check on the home. 

Karen subsequently invited all of the women to her high-class party, proving she was talking crap earlier in the episode. The ladies wondered why Karen moved away, but her new home was huge. 

All seemed right at the end of the episode, with the only shocker being the state of Ashley and Michael’s relationship.

Love & Hip Hop Atlanta Recap: Hip Hoppers For Truth

Last night on a heated Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta Season 6 Episode 11, Scrappy was on the friggin’ warpath, vying to uncover the truth.

Whilst that crucial quest was underway, Joseline Hernandez tried to grasp the fact she was a mother now, and adjust her life accordingly.

Was she able to do so?

When the episode got underway, Joseline was on her way to meet up with Jessica and Melissa. Her plan? To let them know she had given birth to a beautiful daughter named Bonnie. 

She also wanted to let them know about Stevie being around, as opposed to running off and burying his head in the sand. 

Melissa asks “So how are you and Stevie going to do this? Are you going to co-parent?” Joseline says “I don’t know if we are going to co-parent.”

Um, alright then. 

Melissa then opened up to Joseline about Tommie’s wine tasting event. 

“You were the subject of a fight. Tommie got mad and came across the table.”

Joseline says “I missed a lot while I was away giving birth to Bonnie.”

Melissa asks Joseline “What about you and Karlie? Can you make up?” Joseline says “I don’t have a problem with Karlie. She just has a big mouth.” Melissa says “Do you think that you can sit down and have a conversation with her?”

While that was going down, Karlie and Joc met up to discuss whether their relationship was going to be fine. 

Karlie says, “You are the only man who truly gets me and makes me feel our of my element and you hurt me when you did what you did with Tommie.”

Joc says, “Listen I never smashed Tommie. I figured that she was using me to get back at you.”

Just like that, their relationship was back on track. 

Meanwhile, Rasheeda was pissed about what Shirleen did at Scrappy’s party and went on the warpath. 

Rasheeda says, “Was that your idea or Momma Dee’s?”

Shirleen says “It was both of our ideas.”

Rasheeda tells her mom “It’s bad enough that I have eyes looking at me everywhere I go, and there are whispers. I went to the party to escape all of that and what you did brought it all to the forefront.”

Shirleen tells Rasheeda “You need to make some decisions about what you’re going to do because Kirk is going around Atlanta embarrassing you. He’s telling people all about your lack of sex life and all of that.”

Rasheeda gets annoyed and says “He’ll say whatever he has to in order to throw shade on someone else for the stuff he did.”

Joseline then met up with Stevie. 

She tells him “I have to go to LA.” He asks her “For what?” She tells him “I’m doing The Real.” He asks “Are you going to cut me in?”

Joseline says “No.” Stevie says “So you’re gonna leave the baby with me while you going to LA.” Joseline says “No. Who is going to help you take care of the baby?” Stevie says “I have all the kids staying at the house with me.”

However, Joseline did not want the older kids around her daughter because they were always trying to fight her. 

Joseline and Karlie met up to try and fix their friendship, but it went horribly. 

“Karlie you didn’t just get messy you have always been messy,” Joseline begins. “You are the mouth of the south.”

Karlie is silent for a beat but then opens up. “Now that you have had your chance to talk congratulations on the baby.”

It then descended into another argument. Will this ever end?

Bill O"Reilly: The Truth WILL Come Out!

Can someone please break out a violin or two?

Bill O’Reilly is singing a very sad tune at the moment.

A few days after being fired by Fox News due to his alleged role in a number of sexual misconduct scandals, the ex-O’Reilly Factor host surfaced on Monday in podcast form.

He’s now the anchor of “No Spin News” and he addressed his supposedly scandalous past early on in the program.

“I am sad that I’m not on television anymore,” said O’Reilly, expounding as follows:

“I was very surprised how it all turned out. I can’t say a lot, because there’s so much stuff going on right now. But I can tell you that I’m very confident the truth will come out.

“And when it does – I don’t know if you’re going to be surprised, but I think you’re going to be shaken, as I am.”

What an odd phrasing.

Considering O’Reilly has received no public support from anyone aside from the President of the United States, and considering over 70 advertisers pulled their spots on The O’Reilly Factor…

… it certainly seems as if most people believe he’s guilty of inappropriate behavior.

So O’Reilly thinks we won’t be surprised by the “truth,” he’s either wildly misreading the public perception of him. Or he’s admitting to being a misogynistic monster.

Earlier this month, The New York Times published an article that stated O’Reilly has paid $ 13 million over the years to a total of five women.

Each of these women has either worked for Fox News or been a guest on the host’s program.

And each was paid hush money in order to not pursue legal action against O’Reilly after they accused him of making obnoxious remarks; promising them better positions at Fox News in exchange for sexual favors; and making phone calls while apparently jerking off.

A sixth woman went public just this spring with similar charges against O’Reilly, saying she wasn’t even looking for any money.

She just wanted the world to know what kind of man O’Reilly is.

After feeling extreme heat from companies who did not want to be associated with The O’Reilly Factor, 21st Century Fox finally parted ways with its most-watched host last week.

“After a thorough and careful review of the allegations, the Company and Bill O’Reilly have agreed that Bill O’Reilly will not be returning to the Fox News Channel,” read the pink slip announcement.

It continued:

“This decision follows an extensive review done in collaboration with outside counsel.

“By ratings standards, Bill O’Reilly is one of the most accomplished TV personalities in the history of cable news. In fact, his success by any measure is indisputable.

“Fox News has demonstrated again and again the strength of its talent bench. We have full confidence that the network will continue to be a powerhouse in cable news.

“Lastly, and most importantly, we want to underscore our consistent commitment to fostering a work environment built on the values of trust and respect.”

On that last point, Fox News still has a long way to go.

Last July, CEO Roger Ailes was forced to resign after he, too, was faced with a number of sexual harassment charges, while Fox and Friends anchor Steve Doocy has been hit with similar allegations.

Gretchen Carlson and Megyn Kelly both left the network in the past year or so, each alleging a sexist, awkward, generally awful working environment at Fox for anyone who shares their gender.

On his podcast today, O’Reilly added that viewers will soon have a clearer picture of what transpired between him and his accusers.

“Now, I can’t say anymore because I just don’t want to influence the flow of information,” he explained.

“I don’t want the media to take what I say and misconstrue it. You, as a loyal O’Reilly listener, have a right to know, I think, down the lane what exactly happened. And we are working in that direction, okay?”

Sure? Yes? Okay?

Whatever you say, Bill. Sounds like a man who is totally innocent of all charges, doesn’t it?

After getting the axe from Fox News initially, O’Reilly was equally vague and defiant.

Here is what he said shortly after his firing was made public:

“Over the past 20 years at Fox News, I have been extremely proud to launch and lead one of the most successful news programs in history.

It is tremendously disheartening that we part ways due to completely unfounded claims. But that is the unfortunate reality many of us in the public eye must live with today.”

Vanderpump Rules Season 5 Episode 22 Recap: The Truth About Lala

Lala Kent quickly became a pariah on Vanderpump Rules. Part of that was down to the way she was acting when she first appeared on the show.

She was put on blast for her actions on Vanderpump Rules Season 5 Episode 22 about her actions, but she had one last explosive argument with Stassi Schroeder.

When the episode got underway, Andy Cohen wanted to know why Lala decided that she was ditching Ariana’s birthday trip to Sonoma. If you watch Vanderpump Rules online, you will remember that she never gave Ariana any notice about her intention. 

That meant there was a ticket that could have gone to someone else. 

“I went into full-on panic attack mode. The fact that Jax was going, and the last thing he said to me was not very kind,” Lala said. We were then treated to a scene which showed Lala trying to talk to Jax. 

This proved Lala’s point that everyone was out to get her because Jax told her she was trash and nobody liked her. 

Tom Sandoval, however, seemed to think Lala was putting on a show because she’s just so full of drama. 

“That’s bulls–t. We talked ahead of time before this trip about these issues numerous times and made it very clear that if Jax or anybody f–k with you, I’d put a stop to it immediately.”

We then got some much-needed insight into what was going on with Lala’s love life. Stassi was quick to point out that the man was married, but Lala was not rising to it. 

“I also don’t have the right to speak about someone else’s life on national television when they did not sign up for this,” the former SUR hostess revealed. 

When Stassi tried to comment on it again, Lala was quick to fire back that Stassi’s boyfriend did not want to be part of the show. This sent Stassi into overdrive. 

“Stop being a bully,” Lala fired back at Stassi. “Stop bing a mean girl. Do not f–k with my relationship, girl! Fall the f–k back!”

Stassi also took issue with the non-disclosure agreements at Coachella, but Lala wanted to move on. 

“Because of everything you’ve heard and made up in your head, you’ve really f–ked with my life a lot. So stop with the ‘I heard’ — you’re a grown-ass woman.”

Lisa Vanderpump then asked: “Is this coming from your boyfriend?”

But Lala replied, “No, leave him out of this — he has nothing to do with it. Stop even talking about him.”

Andy quizzed Lala about whether she was finished with the show, but she did not answer the question, opting instead to apologize to everyone. 

“First and foremost, I have done a lot of slamming to everyone up here, so I just want to let y’all know for that, I’m sorry,” she said.

Everyone seemed to accept the apology, before Lala peaced out — presumably for the last time. 

After that, Nikolai appeared on the show and sent zingers to pretty much the whole cast, but he saved the best one for Stassi.

“Stassi, just so you know, you can’t get everything you want in life, and I’ve seen you do that numerous times,” Nikolai said.

Everyone looked on in horror, while we switched gears to Katie’s drinking. Katie claimed that Scheana was painting a picture that she was an alcoholic, but Scheana corrected her and said she worried about her actions while drunk. 

Ariana then went on blast Stassi for being this master manipulator, but Miss. Schroeder claimed she only cared about making friends.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 7 Episode 13 Recap: The Truth

Did Lisa Rinna apologize for her wild claims about Kim Richards’ sobriety?

That was her plan on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 7 Episode 13 when it became clear the only way forward was to open up about her outburst. 

When the episode got underway, Kyle Richards was setting up for her pastry party with pal, Carnie Wilson. If you’re a reality TV junkie, you probably remember Wilson from Celebrity Apprentice.

Turns out, the pair became fast friends and are planning parties together. The aim of Carnie’s game was to show off her sweet confectionery treats to the ladies. 

Her presence will no doubt result in her sweet treat sales going through the roof. Hey, everyone likes some free promotion. 

Lisa Rinna was invited to the event, but she made it clear she was scared about attending the event. 

“I swear to God, I don’t remember saying any of these things to Eden, but I also don’t think that Eden would lie,” the actress admitted to the camera.

If you watch The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills online, you will know that Rinna has tried to deflect the whole situation. It’s almost like she knows she said it and does not want to admit it. 

However, the truth was just around the corner as Harry Hamlin got involved and she revealed that she would tell Kim about her part in it. 

Hey, that was easy… right?

On the way to the party, Lisa Rinna admitted to Erika and Eileen that she did, indeed, say those things. Erika was the most shocked, but she also worried about her friend. 

“I hate hearing this. Kim’s going to kill her,” Erika said to the camera. “It’s tough. She’s going to get f–ked up.” 

Eileen was disappointed with the truth because she felt like Rinna was self-destructing by making claims of this caliber. 

The next stop on her apology tour was to tell Kim the truth in front of everyone. 

“After game night, I met with Eden, and I said some things in the heat of the moment that I didn’t remember exactly, and now that I’ve had time to think about it and to talk to Harry about it, I said them. I said them,” Rinna confessed.  

“You are always saying things, and then you’re like, ‘Oh I said it, and I’m sorry!’ You told Eden that I am near death, that I am not in a good place — that is so uncalled for,” Kim argued.

Rinna fired back, “Well, I see that you’re in a good place now.”  

Lisa Vanderpump decided to use her time to call out Rinna for the way she treated Kim. Rinna was very dismissive, but Dorit decided it was her time to be heard and asked what Kim had done to make her feel that way. 

“You don’t think of the consequences for other people! My children are affected. My sisters are affected. My friends are affected. My grandchild will be affected!” Kim shouted. “This is so treacherous!”

Kim then focused her attention on Eden Sassoon, who was in on the act with Lisa. 

“You, being in recovery, go around and repeat it!” Kim shouted.

“How would you feel if I said, behind your back, ‘I don’t know if Eden is sober or not?"” 

However, Eden did not give a damn because she was apparently sober. 

You can’t compare your situation with ours,” Kim reasoned of the way Eden kept trying to compare her life with her sister to hers. 

The whole thing was then twisted to comments Kim made about Harry and Lisa ended up on top form. 

“Do you know how many people have come up to him and said, ‘What did you do?"” Rinna asked Kim. “So it did hurt our family.”

After that, all the ladies aside from Vanderpump decided that a new leaf was the best way forward. 

Something tells us LVP will have a say in whether this ends, or not.

Love & Hip Hop Season 7 Episode 15 Recap: The Truth About Mendeecees

Did everyone manage to put their beef aside on the reunion special of VH1’s hit reality series?

That was their plan on Love & Hip Hop Season 7 Episode 15 when Nina Parker rounded all of the cast members up to run down the crazy events. 

When the episode got underway, Nina asked Cardi B about what was going on with Asia. Cardi had a long and hilarious explanation about the whole thing.

“She is just ma because I have a big butt and he wants that. I have beef in the hood, but I know why I have beef. I have no idea why this girl is mad at me.”

Pretty much instantly, Asia was brought out from backstage and asked about her issues with Cardi. 

“I didn’t have a problem with Cardi.” Cardi jumps up and butts in. She asks Asia “Why were you talking mad trash about me in those text messages?”

Asia says “I supported Swift when he started working with you until you started acting funny.” All of a sudden Cardi gets up to throws her fist and hits Asia in the head.

Nina says “Everybody in their seats and let’s talk like adults.” Really, Nina? There are were no adults present in the studio. 

Nina tried again to get to the root of the issue. “What was it that caused you to send those text messages to Swift?”

Asia says “Swift disrespected me.” Cardi was not impressed, saying “You didn’t like me before all of that. Why didn’t you like me?”

Asia says “I went through Swift’s Facebook and I found you. I stalked you.”

Swift appeared and apologized to Asia, before confirming he was not currently in a relationship with either woman. 

Nina switched gears to all the drama with the Creep Squad. 

Nina asks Cisco “What is the problem with you and the other guys?”

Cisco says “I don’t know what Rich’s problem is. He seems to have issues with me. I have tried to get Peter to sit down and resolve it.”

Peter says “I shouldn’t have to keep sitting down with two grown men and trying to resolve issues.”

Nina then asked to know the origins of the group. This resulted in Rich and Cisco having to be separated by security. 

Nina decided to chat to Mariahlynn because she felt that she would be able to shed some light on what’s been going on with the guys. 

Mariahlynn says “Cisco felt betrayed by the situation, so he said some hurtful things about me which he apologized for. Our mother’s both have brain aneurysms, so we connected on that level.”

Cisco apologized to Mariahlynn about the way he acted. He then gave Peter a check for $ 10,000 to make up for the money he took from the appearance in New Orleans. 

After that, we got an update on Snoop, and J. Nina asked J about the Sofie Green audition drama. J’s reply was pretty tame as opposed to some of her drama from earlier in the season.

“I just felt disrespected. All of this foolishness was just ridiculous.”

Snoop cuts in and asks J “Did you cheat on me?” This caused yet another huge argument with the ladies throwing accusations at each other. 

Snoop confirmed there was no way she could get back together with J. J burst into floods of tears as she said how much she loved Snoop.

“I love her. That doesn’t just go away, but I feel like I deserve respect and all of this was just messy.” Snoop then says “I will always love J as a friend and be there for her.”  

When it came to trying to establish what went wrong with all the women in Mendeecees’ life, Yandy was quick to point out that she did not give a damn about the women before her. 

Erika got upset when a phone interview with Mendeecees confirmed that she was a side chick. 

She says, “As a man with a daughter, mother and sister I think it is very shameful of him to sit up here and talk like that.”

Yandy was quick to chime in. 

“That was always the story I got from him. If you know you have to leave his house by a certain time and can’t be around his friends and family, then that’s your position. You need to play your position.”

The ladies then had to be locked in their dressing rooms to stop them from fighting.

Sister Wives Season 7 Episode 9 Recap: The Truth

There really is never a dull moment on Sister Wives… the cast seems to think so, too. 

That’s why TLC thought they would surprise us with a special episode that finds the cast revealing how they felt in the aftermath of some of the crazy developments. 

When Sister Wives Season 7 Episode 9 got underway, it became clear that several months had passed since filming of the most recent batch of episodes.

This gave them ample time to get their feelings in check and bicker some more about them. 

NBC News Correspondent, Andrea Canning wanted to start things off in quiet fashion. Basically, she did not want any of the family bailing on her before she got to the good questions. 

She brought up Maddy’s wedding and we got to see the family in happier times, but it was revealed that the family were not shocked about Kody forgetting about the exchanging of rings. 

Kody owned up to being nervous about the whole thing. Even Maddy was not upset because she knew that was something that could be done later on the day. 

Andrea then questioned the differences between a monogamous and polygamous one. Apparently, polygamists don’t tend to have large weddings because they are scared of being arrested. 

It was also revealed that rings were not part of the ceremony. When quizzed about how they knew how a monogamous wedding would play out, they revealed that they watched a lot of movies to understand how they worked. 

Pretty smart. Right?

We then got some deets on the questions that Kody asked Tony when the latter asked permission to marry Mykelti. Kody then said that he did not care what his grandchildren wanted to do in life and that he only asked the question to understand whether Tony was the right man for Mykelti. 

Kody had no idea whether Tony would be against his lifestyle and if he would restrict potential grandchildren from seeing the family. Additionally, Kody took issue with the engagement coming so soon after Maddie’s wedding. 

When quizzed about pushing the wedding to December, Kody felt that would leave enough time from Madison’s wedding. He was also concerned that Mykelti was only wanting to get married so quickly because she wanted to have sex. 

The younger kids did, however, side with Kody because they respected how blunt he would be in situations and they felt it was better for them. 

After that, the drama surrounding Meri was brought to the forefront. Andrea quizzed Meri about whether she really wanted to leave the family, or if that was all blown out of proportion. 

However, Kody butted in before Meri could get a word in and said the family was not legally together, so if someone wanted out, they could go. 

The other wives were not impressed. As you would have probably expected, Meri was more upset that he did not declare his love for her. 

Yeah, Meri is still complaining… even months later.

Ryan Lochte: Sorry I Twisted The Truth About Getting Robbed At Gunpoint!

Ryan Lochte issued a statement today addressing the story that he and his teammates were held at gunpoint on August 14th.

Unfortunately, Lochte and the four other American swimmers – Jimmy Feigen, Jack Conger, and Gunnar Bentz – fabricated a story that simply didn’t make sense.

And while Lochte was able to escape interrogation (he landed back home in the US as Rio officials began their investigation), his teammates were not so lucky.

Conger and Bentz were taken off a plane that was leaving the country, while as of press time, Feigen’s passport has not yet been returned.  In fact, he has to pay nearly $ 11,000 to avoid charges.

Just under an hour ago, Lochte explained himself via a statement on Instagram.  

Though he did not admit that he lied, he apologized for letting this whole ordeal spin wildly out of control.

I want to apologize for my behavior last weekend — for not being more careful and candid in how I described the events of that early morning and for my role in taking the focus away from the many athletes fulfilling their dreams of participating in the Olympics. 

I waited to share these thoughts until it was confirmed that the legal situation was addressed and it was clear that my teammates would be arriving home safely.

It’s traumatic to be out late with your friends in a foreign country – with a language barrier – and have a stranger point a gun at you and demand money to let you leave, but regardless of the behavior of anyone else that night, I should have been much more responsible in how I handled myself and for that I am sorry to my teammates, my fans, my fellow competitors, my sponsors, and the hosts of this great event.

I am very proud to represent my country in Olympic competition and this was a situation that could and should have been avoided.  I accept responsibility for my role in this happening and have learned from valuable lessons.

I am grateful for my USA Swimming teammates and the USOC, and appreciate all of the efforts of the IOC, the Rio ’16 Host Committee, and the people of Brazil who welcomed  us to Rio and worked so hard to make sure that these Olympic Games provided a lifetime of great new memories.

There has already been too much said and too many valuable resources dedicated to what happened last weekend, so I hope we spend our time celebrating the great stories and performances of these Games and look ahead to celebrating future successes.

This is a case of too little, too late for many American fans, who were charmed by Lochte’s goofball antics up until this point.  

Now he’s nothing more than some overhyped athlete that will do just about anything to avoid being held accountable for his actions.
