The Real Housewives of Atlanta are back for Season 8 on Bravo, and man alive, did we miss all the drama, feuds and shade-throwing insanity in the ATL.
Let’s break down the premiere in style!
On The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 8 Episode 1, Sheree Whitfield made her return, while new star Kim Fields was MIA for the first installment.
NeNe Leakes, meanwhile, has finally left the series after threatening to do so every single year. But fear not, the O.G. will appear later this season.
As for the rest of the women …
Kandi Burruss‘ efforts to have a child with Todd Tucker have apparently worked. She’s expecting! And still pushing herself hard at work and life.
Porsha Williams has won back series regular, or “full peach” status after a one-year recurring role demotion for beating the s–t out of Kenya Moore.
The controversial cast member is working at Dish Nation, dating Duke Williams of the Buffalo Bills, and “living in my truth and without apologies.”
At least for one episode.
Also in a better place? Kenya Moore, who is “attracting all these guys” and working on her new house. No word if that pilot ever got the green light.
As for Cynthia Bailey, she and Peter Thomas are at odds over a video showing him inappropriately touching another woman, which he denies.
As Phaedra put it, “Papa Smurf is a little horny.” Look for this – and the duo’s already strained marriage – to be a focal point early on this season.
The aforementioned Sheree Whitfield, who was dispatched after Season 4 for an apparent lack of story lines, is back as a “friend” here in 2015.
Kenya quickly throws shade at her about her unfinished mansion and whether she’s only coming around to ask for money for the light bill. BURN.
Now nearly a year since Apollo Nida went to prison, Phaedra Parks is still upset about Kandi’s lack of support throughout that entire ordeal.
It looks like there’s another element to this beef, too, regarding Todd helping Phaedra out with a workout video and allegedly not being paid.

Cynthia Bailey (using her first and last name, in case there was confusion): “Seasons change, but Cynthia Bailey never goes out of style.”
Kandi Burruss: “I’m a hitmaker, and this year I will reveal the best one.”
Kenya Moore: “Don’t come for me, unless I twirl for you.”
Kim Fields: “Faith, family and career – those are the facts of my life.”
Phaedra Parks: “Only God can judge me, and he seems quite impressed.”
Porsha Williams: “I’m about to give you life, so stay out of my way!”
As usual, we have no idea what Porsha is talking about.
